Hi, I'm Steph a 23 year old physiotherapist working at the Austin Hospital. I will be working full time 40 hours a week, some weekends and some evenings. I am a pretty active person who loves netball and the gym. I am mature and respectful but also social don't mind a quiet drink and a yarn. I am a mature and respectful person who likes to stay active with an avid joy of netball and the gym. I enjoy a social meal and drink but likewise I'm partial to keeping to myself. I am looking for a place where I can be a housemate not just rent a room and being that I'm still relatively new to Melbourne, moving from Canberra I am keen to meet new people and would love if my housemates could help me out with that.
Hi everyone! We are Erin and max, we’re a 23yo couple. Erin is from the UK and max is Aussie. We have been together over a year and spent the last 9 months travelling Australia and Europe. We were originally in Melbourne before we set off for our travels and are ready to come back to the best city in the world!🙋🏼 We are both really clean and respectful, we love a laugh and having a few social drinks. Max is a great cook, so there will always be yummy food around! Erin is a hairdresser by trade and will always be willing to help in a hair emergency and will always make a great cuppa. We are both great fun but also enjoy a good Netflix binge. We are looking for like minded people around our own age in a relaxed environment. We would also be looking for a furnished room as we are coming back with our selves! Feel free to hit us up if we sound like we would fit into your house!
Hey! I'm an industrial tech student new to Melbourne on the look out for a room in a house with some fun, friendly people :) I'm very easy going, clean up after myself, pay rent on time and am down for some drinks and adventures!
I'm the kind of housemate who... ...You might encounter in the kitchen whipping up her latest creation whilst sipping a glass (or 3) of red wine.... ...works full time, and sometimes out for random hobbies (at the moment its rock climbing). ...will tend to socialise outside of the house, and come home to veg and relax. ...keeps things clean and tidy. ... loves to cook, eat, drink, garden, sail and travel... ...is a human slave to Coco, a cute and very shy little cat. She's housetrained, and so am I! And that you can come home to have a chat about your day (possibly over a glass of wine).
Hello, potential new flatmates, I am seeking a new sharehouse as my current housemates and I are going separate ways in early Feb 2018 (both shaking up with their respective partners). Given this, I am in a bit of a bind and therefore seeking new roomies. I work as a full-time professional in the finance sector. I am very active as I am a keen cyclist, skier, and a hack surfer. I like to keep things very clean and tidy but not psychopathic about cleanliness (I'm all for employing a cleaner). Happy to provide references on my living standards. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are fairly social within the house and not purely coexisting at the same address, let's grab a spontaneous drink, do a big cook up, etc. I've previously lived with guys and girls so I'm well aware of the intricacies involved with both. In relation to where I'd like to live; I'm fairly open to living most areas except going too far north Collingwood would be my limit there or west, as I don't want to bicycle commute to work to be too long. Have a great Christmas and holidays I hope to hear from you. Cheers, Steve
Hi, My name is Evelyne, I am 26 yo and moved to Melbourne from Paris last May. I am working full-time in the city and pretty busy during weekdays so I like to chill and relax during weekends. Currently living in a flatshare in Melb CBD, I am looking to move out from the city and would love to find a nice room around Fitzroy, Collingwood, South Melbourne, Albert Park or South Yarra. About me: - Non-smoker and vegetarian (but all fine with meat eaters) - Neat, laid-back and easygoing - Love travelling, cooking, baking, ballet dance and yoga - Wine & Cheese lover - Pay rent and bills on time If you want more details about me, I would be more than happy to have a chat. Cheers, Ev
Hey there, my name's Lachlan and I'm currently looking for short term accomodation after recently moving to Melbourne from Adelaide. I've been working full time as a designer in St Kilda working long hours Mon - Fri and am hoping to find a place nearby. St Kilda definitely has an incredible feel to it and I've fallen in love with the place. I'm an extremely easy person to get along with. I'm passionate about music and miss my days of playing in bands but still love heading out to see live music when I can. I've had a sporty upbringing and enjoy the routine of the gym once I'm in a rhythm. In simple terms, I'm basically, a pretty normal, pleasant person looking forward to having a room to come back home to at the end of a day to relax in. Look forward to meeting you soon. Lachlan.
Mature, quiet, neat and clean. Good cook. Looking for accommodation close to work through the week. May stay some weekends but also have own house 2 hrs away. Interests are keeping fit, listening to live music, socialising with friends and family.
We are a dutch couple who is traveling around in Australia for 2 months already. We want to stay in Melbourne for a while to do some work and after that we want to see New Zealand and the east coast :)! I'm still a student, I have to study one year more to finish my master Supply Chain management in the Netherlands. My boyfriend Ivo is just graduated in Marketing Management. We are looking for a room in Melbourne and have a nice time with our roommates!
I am from Taiwan, part time work, part time student in the city and have many experiences in sharing room or house. I am tidy and quiet person, never have problem with my housemates. Now I am trying to find a single room in the city because after four years sharing room with people, I want my personnel space now.
I recently moved back to Melbourne after a few years in Brisbane. I plan to study counselling in 2018. I am generally quiet, easygoing and respectful of others' space. I am a bit of a "neat-freak" so am more than happy to do my share of cleaning, etc. I don't mind a drink, enjoy a chat, cooking, eating out, listening to people's stories, playing the guitar, music generally, reading and am a keen runner.
We’re two Swedish music & education students who are currently taking a year off our studies to travel. I (Jonatan) was an exchange student at Melb Uni last year, fell in love with the city and decided to come back on a working holiday visa. We just arrived in Melbourne this week and are currently looking for jobs and somewhere more permanent to stay for the next 6 months. Aiming to work with music and education in some way but open for other jobs as well. The last 6 months in Sweden, I (Jonatan) worked with support and recreation for teenagers with disabilities and Johannes worked in retail selling hair and beauty products. Personality wise I'm calm, caring and down to earth. I like playing and creating music, rock climbing, reading books, exploring the city by bike and drinking good coffees. Generally I'd rather spend a night at home having a good conversation than going out. I don't mind having some drinks now and then but would like my home to be a place for rest rather than a party house. I'm used to sharing houses, I'm raised in a big family with 3 siblings and I used to live in a share-house with more than 10 people while i was studying music in Sweden. I’d like my home to be pretty clean, I'm tidy and respectful of other peoples space. Johannes is also pretty chill and tidy. He is into music as well as photography, filming. He is driven and creative and always has some kind of project going on in his free time. He also has a weird obsession with cats on instagram ;). We don’t mind sharing a room if necessary :)
Imagine a talking cat you never had to feed or clean up after. That's pretty much me, except I'm slightly less likely to randomly claw at your arm. Okay but seriously, I like to keep to myself most of the time and often go days without seeing anyone I don't have to, but I also really love a good chat every now and then and I love to share and communicate with people heaps. I'm honestly pretty naturally messy and clumsy, but that just means I have to clean up a lot, so I'm good at cleaning up after myself eh. I'm finishing a Bachelor of Music next July and starting a double-degree in sociology and Chinese. I'm pretty easy-going and don't really get angry, I'm also single long-term, so no surprises in those regards. I do work from home though, which means I'll need a decent amount of internet in order to do my job, so that's my only real issue. I don't drink often, don't smoke, don't bring people over overnight, I've lived out of home for 2 years, don't care for partying, don't LEAVE a mess (I do frequently make them though).
I am friendly and easy going. Originally from Tassie, but have called Melbourne home for the past 10 years. I work full time and also study part time online! So in my downtime I (try to) keep fit, have cuddles with my fur babies (Mischa (Lab, 11 y/o) and Tom (Cat, 4 y/o) and enjoy having a cheeky vino with friends.
I'm a 25 year old financial consultant working full time in the city. I grew up in San Francisco, CA and went to university in Los Angeles, CA. I have dual citizenship and have recently moved out here to be near my 3 brothers who have all grown up in Melbourne. Something unique about me is that I've backpacked for 16 months in Southeast Asia, China, Tibet, and India. I've also completed 400 hours of yoga teacher training, but that feels like another lifetime ago. Between work and gym I am hardly at home except for the evenings. I believe that home should feel like a safe and comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day to completely unwind and relax. I'd be great to live with because I respect personal space and privacy. I am a tidy and organized individual who is flexible and carries a positive outlook on life. I do enjoy going out on the weekends, but I also balance it out with living an active lifestyle, spending time with my family, and having quiet movie nights. Would be keen to team up with someone for a nice modern apartment east of the city (with private bedroom + ensuite bathroom). Preferably someone who also works full time, likes to go out a bit on weekends, but still lives a balanced life!
We are a chill and relaxed couple we like to hang out with others and have a drink, however we came here in Melbourne to also do some work so we would like to be able to sleep at normal hours during weekdays ;). Furthermore, we are Dutch and have a working holiday visa, we already love the surfing culture here!
Spanish 24 girl who is going to Australia to pass a year with a work and holiday visa. Kind, tidy, love to spend time withfriends and learn about new languages and cultures.
Hi all, my name is Kelly, I'm 24 years old, from the Netherlands, and I'm here on a working holiday. I'm looking for a job in Melbourne because I just love the city. I hope to stay for about 3 months before travelling further. That's why I'm looking for a nice place to stay for a while that I can call my second home. I love to cook good and healthy food, I'm very social and outgoing, I like to live in a clean space (I'm a decent cleaner), love to go out or just watch a movie/tv show and drink a nice wine or beer (or just a coke zero during the week days). I would love to live close to Melbourne CBD, but going there by public transport or bicycle is also fine by me. In my spare time, I also like to work out, go to the beach, do some shopping, go to a festival, and many other things. If you think I'm fun to live with for a while, don't hesitate to contact me! Cheers, Kelly
