Hi all! **looking for team ups, not interested in rooms available** I've lived in share accommodation for the past 5.5 years so I've had my fair share to know what I want and what I don't want. So I'll be as honest as possible! I'm a respectful housemate. I work full time and I also study a Masters part time so I really just want a home where it hits 9pm and it's wind down time! I do go to gym (I see a pt but I'm keen to find a gym buddy), I'm absolutely NOT Looking for party house or even a house where people are in and out all the time, I much prefer and relaxed environment. I am absolutely looking for a clean housemate (just simply don't leave dishes out for days) and someone who is down for a chat/netflix binge but still happy to have personal time. Past experiences have shown me, decent internet in the area is a must as well! I have everything to fill a home apart from a couch (I parted with mine when it couldn't come with me) so I'm really looking to start fresh in a new place with someone. All I asked if you care for my things as if they were your own :) Feel free to message me if you're interested in hunting and for something long term. I'm not in a rush as I want to find someone and really get to know them before we move in!
I'm a UX designer working full time in the city. I have a background in production, acting and design. I'm easy to live with, clean up after myself and I'm a great cook! I enjoy sharing a meal, laugh and a glass of wine and love a Netflix binge.
Hey - we're two friends looking for a place to live. Adam is working full time in project management and construction and Oscar is working in education until he goes back to studying his literature honours. We're both chilled and outgoing people who love a good banter. Both love board games and a casual drink. We're excited to meet some cool and open minded people.
I am a keen cook and a good baker, I enjoy a glass of wine and a chat after work. Ian makes a great curry (especially if you like it spicy!) and has some interesting travel stories. We're both clean and tidy people who are used to living with others, we've been living in Melbourne for a few months now. I work as an Occupational Therapist and Ian works in insurance. We both tend to work Monday-Friday. We are both easy going people who get on well with others, and enjoy experiencing new things, whether it be a new dish to try, or a new culture to learn about. While it would be great to meet people in a flat share situation who we can genuinely become friends with, we also don't mind living somewhere quiet where the flatmates are happy to keep to themselves.
Hi, everyone! Me and my boyfriend Tom are moving to Melbourne this week, and we're looking for a nice place to call home for the next 6 months - possibly a year. A little bit about us: I'm a Brazilian freelance translator (which means I'm bringing my work with me) passionate about traveling, animals and books. I'm a big foodie, and though I'm not really good at it, I love cooking! I also love exercising, especially swimming and yoga. Tom is British and he's a trained commercial diver. He's coming on a working visa, so we hope to find him a job soon. Like myself, he loves travelling and food (get him some cheese and you'll make a friend for life!), but he's also a big fan of movies, series and games. We met while backpacking through Southeast Asia about 2.5 years ago, and you can expect to meet two friendly, easy going and open-minded people. We both enjoy an occasional pint or glass of wine and like going to bars/hanging out with friends, but we're not big party people. We're also very clean and organized, so no need to worry about that. Well, I guess that's it for now. Let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers! Patricia.
I am a pretty easygoing, relaxed, friendly kind of person who is neat and tidy, likes to live a healthy and active lifestyle and is a respectful and social kind of housemate. I am looking for a place to call home or even a team up to start a new place with fun and easy going housemates. I work full time as a sales manager mond-fri and like to keep busy. I am honest and caring in nature and respect others and their privacy but also dont mind sharing a meal or helping out around the place. I like pets, going to gym in between the week, making new friends and exploring cafes and food places around melbourne and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, send me a message and we can meet up. Cheers!
Hi, I'm Leon, 24, IT professional working full time. I'm from Brisbane, but I've just landed a job in Melbourne and therefore need to make a move I'm career focused, enthusiastic, easy going, friendly and mature (I have to, when the majority of my time at my previous job involves training and dealing with CFOs and high level management staff). I'm looking for a place to call home because moving is such a huge pain, so long term is preferred. Hopefully I can make friends with the housemates, too. By the way, I'm gay so ideally I'm looking to share the house with other gay friends or gay friendly people. I'm clean and tidy and willing to share housework. I need a room that has enough storage for me to put my stuff away, preferably ones that have a BIR/WIR. I also have a car so I will need parking. On street or off street, it doesn't matter, as long as it's legal and safe. Hobbies include music, long drives, road trips, movies, eating out, drinking etc. Hopefully you and I can find something in common that we can do together 😁. I'll be in Melbourne from Thursday (24/08) and will stay until Monday (28/08), so if you have any question, please send me a message. I need to get my accommodation sorted by Friday 01/09 in preparation for the interstate moving and for my job to start.
I have recently moved to Melbourne to finish my degree after travelling South America and the UK. I'm a musician, I love theatre and I'm studying to teach both to youth. I'm part-time and work 4 to 5 days a week at a bar/pizzeria called the lucky coq on chapel street. I'm an easy going and very social person. As everyone says on their profile "I'm clean and tidy," when I say this I'm being honest. I don't like a dirty house because clutter/mess makes it hard to think straight but that definitely doesn't mean if you leave a chocolate bar wrapper on the coffee table for an hour I'll lose the plot. I love this city and the arts culture it has to offer, if you'll consider having me as a roomy I'll be grateful! Chuck me a message and we can meet up for coffee or beer. Cheers!
Hi, am moving to Melbourne this Saturday (20/8) from Liverpool U.K looking for somewhere chilled, positive atmosphere and comfortable to stay. I have huge respect for the place i stay and the people i live with, clean person and always up for a laugh. Excited to be moving to melbourne :)
We are easy-going, adventurous couple near our mid-twenties who wish to find a nice place to stay in and laid-back people to stay with. I study medicine in Finland and decided to take a year off to explore Australia and NZ with my boyfriend, who is studying economics and coming to Melbourne as an exchange student. We guarantee you enough your own space (we're Finns, so definitely not too intrusive and maybe a bit shy at first). We hope to find flatmates who enjoy hanging out with us once in a while (maybe chatting over a beer or two) but who also allow us enough privacy.
Hey there guys, just a friendly chick here looking for a place to call her own. Would love a place where (potential) roomies are welcoming and friendly, by also respectful of space. Currently working part-time in hospo and looking to start study next year. I'm a mean cook, love to travel, go to lots of festivals/galleries and absolutely love animals. So if you have one, it would be well loved. If you think I'm the potential roomie for you, feel free to drop me a message! :)
Canadian backpacker from Vancouver who just moved to Melbourne. Currently working construction part time. Looking to make Melbourne home for the next six months. Easy to get along with, clean and tidy, prompt on rent, social but also enjoy my privacy, and lived in a share house in Vancouver for a year before I made the move to Australia last January.
Im easy to live with, happy to have a chat but as equally as happy to give space, i enjoy cooking, i always clean up after myself, and always keep shared areas neat & tidy.
Hey! So I'm currently a full time student at Uni Melbourne studying Biochem and Molecular Biology. I'm crazy organized and a lil ocd about messes , though I'd like to think I'm a pretty good cook! I am friendly and at times a little socially awkward. Looking for a place to stay till my undergrad degree is done!
Hey everybody, we are 3 easy going Chileans friends looking for accommodation. If you have a shared room for 3, a flat or house with enough room for us, do not doubt to contact us. We love music, hanging out, going out, food, animals and traveling, and to make always a friendly environment where we are living. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Hello there, my name is Ryan I am 25 year’s old and looking for a short term stay until roughly around November. I am originally from Western Australia and moved here early this January. I currently have a job at Crown and working night shifts (8-4am) and then next month it will change to Day Shift (12-8pm). I am very low maintenance, easy going, chilled and always up for a cheeky laugh. I have spent the previous year travelling India, Nepal and parts of Europe. In December I plan to further my travels. I respect people’s space and will always clean up after myself! I am vegetarian and practising tai chi at the moment in Brunswick which keeps me busy. I always try and get outside and I enjoy a good chat about life. Would like to move in ASAP. Hope to hear from you shortly
Hi there! A little about me- I'm a respectful, easy going, fun to be around, housemate that will add some life to the (house) party. See what I did there? Being and artist and bit of an athlete I'm interested in mostly those 2 things- gallery openings, anything cultural (I come from the NYC area) and different and most sporting events. I'm very social- enjoy going out for drinks or dinner with friends or having friends over to do the same. I'm a very clean roommate and respectful of space and SLEEP- it's the most important thing. Have been traveling for nearly 2 years now and plan to be in Melbourne for the rest of my time in AUS. I did my partying in the fist half of my travels so it's not on the top f my priority list... though, I do dabble occasionally. For work I will most likely be in a cafe so I can do my art in the afternoons. If you think we'd be good housemates give me a buzz and we can chat! Thanks! Liz
