hi guys, I'm looking for a room to rent in the Elwood area while I study my masters at University of Melbourne. I'm down from Sydney, I enjoy the outdoors, the beach, swimming, jogging, tennis, golf. Tidy, respectful, enjoy conversation and socialising with housemates, but also respect quiet time. Look forward to hearing from you, Andrew
I work as a waitress at the moment but also have experience in administrative work, looking at going to uni in 2019 to study architecture. Will be studying full time this year as well. I like to keep myself busy with seeing friends, going to the gym, work/study, and going out but at home I'm pretty quiet. I'm pretty social - love to meet new people and to have a chat but also am respectful of privacy & space because I definitely appreciate some downtime Not too fussy where I end up as long as it's close to a trainline and a good gym nearby haha - moving out of home due to how long it takes to get to the city for my work & study. Ideally looking for another female to find an apartment with & spilt costs (not really looking at finding a room via this site, just a flatmate)
Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies and so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. ;) If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :) ... oh and one last note: my preferred length of stay is in fact roughly 5 months but this website doesn't offer this option. :D

Can enjoy have a chat with anyone, quite like to have some dinner and drink or two with flatmates. But I’m also very respectful person. Came here for a year with working holiday visa. Hi there! My name is Marcie and I'm obsessed with art. That's why I'm keen to move from Brisbane to Melbourne and be engulfed by the culture and creative community over there. I'm a very clean, respectful and polite housemate who loves to cook. The social aspect of share houses is very appealing to me too, as I love to be around people. At the moment I work full time hours at an ALH pub and plan to get a transfer to Melbourne, so I would have a job as soon as I get down there. I'm also about to start a dual Arts/Fine Arts degree at Monash (Caulfield campus). For fun I like to read, make art and go to gigs. Can't wait to meet you xo M

Hey, I'm Lily, currently full time student doing a bachelor of film meaning I pretty much spend most of my time either watching shows or studying. When I'm not I'm often reading or drinking gallons of tea. I'm always respecting of housemates and how they like to keep things, so I pretty much slide into however the house is currently running. If you have any questions let me know, would love to hear from you. Looking for a place to move asap, preferably before uni starts back up again on the 5th of Feb. I listed a few suburbs, but most of Melbourne is fine :) Thanks
I have a friendly and fun personality and I'm easy to live with. I'm pretty tidy and clean up after myself. I'm passionate about art and writing and love getting out and about with my camera. I work in hospitality but aspire to run my own business one day. Like anyone, I love hanging out with friends and do enjoy the odd drink (but not excessively so).

Looking for a good home beach side.. I am easy going, quiet, clean and tidy up after myself, like to read and explore nature, markets and art. Enjoy catchups with share mates and also really enjoy time to myself writing or working on my photos and listening to music (have earphones!). Have had home stay guests so I know the deal about sharing and respect and currently sharing. I prefer a natural lifestyle and fresh air. Not the partying type and enjoy a chilled home with occasional social times. I have a car so I need some parking space and would love a home with some outdoor space to enjoy the sunshine with the beach close by.
We are a Canadian couple who is excited to start our adventure in Melbourne! Chace is a welder and I will be working in hospitality. Hello Everyone! So a little about me is I am traveling to Australia as a Working Holiday and coming from America. I have lived all over America from LA to NY to Seattle and now want to switch it up! As a roommate I get a lot of praise for always doing the dishes, all the food I put in a fridge is yours for the taking, and I always have spare quarters for laundry (I don't know if that's an awesome trait to have in Australia but in America it's basically being the backbone to everyone's laundry schedule). I am pretty darn easy going, love listening to music 24/7, I will mostly likely be working all the time and not there much, but consistently down to have a pint and chat about stuff always!
pays rent on time, animal lover, food lover, love healthy food and lifestyle, lgbt friendly, like the odd beer.......reason for my short stay is my brother in law and our mate are moving over and we want a house together and we are bringing over pets from new zealand not sure of the exact date they are moving over but I will give plenty of notice
Hello. I'm looking to live with just one other female preferably aged between 35-50. I currently volunteer in Front of House for local amateur theatre groups and as a support worker in a residential Aged Care facility. I will be studying reflexology this year and work part-time to full-time as an Aged Care worker. I'm looking to plant my feet in the right house with a good fit so we can get the best out of each other and provide a peaceful, caring, supportive and enjoyable home to relax in that is equally our space and that we can share harmoniously together. I'd love the odd catch up but I also cherish alone time to recharge and re boot! My interests include foreign languages, the theatre, eating well and living conscientiously, going on walks and picnics, listening to live music and drinking the odd Red or White! I like card making and reading. And enjoy watching documentaries and comedies. My musical tastes are eclectic and I'd be happy to share an interest with you in this. I love cooking accompanied by the radio and yes love singing along at times too! I am low maintenance and like an easy going relationship with a housemate but I also pull my weight around the house with chores too. I like a household that includes compromise and good communication. Prefer a neat and tidy environment where things have their place :) I have lived in many shared accommodations so have wealth of experience in this area, but it is also a case that I'll never stop learning either! It would be lovely to meet you. Warm wishes Celeste
I want to team up on new lease OR rent a room! Creatively driven 25-year-old looking for a room for rent with some other incredible people/person in Melbourne’s surrounding suburbs or inner east of St Kilda area. A move in date is quite flexible and so is his long term of stay. Adventurous and well-travelled man passionate about photography, arts and the body. Enjoys being social and sharing experiences through stories, music, environments and food. A neat individual who values and respects living with people and creatures of all types and sizes although those with more creative traits would be a bonus. Try him out in Spanish to see how much he speaks and can learn. Call me Af. If you are interested in anything further, I suggest you send a message soon!
I'm Stef, I work full-time in recruitment - I'm a big subscriber to 'work hard, play hard'. I work standard Monday-Friday hours so I'm usually low key during the week and up for a good time on the weekend! I've lived in heaps of share houses and I'm looking for something clean but fun and respectful. I'm looking for housemates who are fairly laidback -- you like your own space at times but you're also willing to sit down and have a few drinks or a chat as well. Above all, I'm looking for a social, fun household with roommates that respect each other. I'm a huge AFL fan so liking footy won't hurt either! I'd prefer to make my own meals, generally speaking. However, very open to the idea of a shared BBQ or dinner every now and then! Not much furniture with me aside from an entertainment unit and a coffee table which I could store if necessary. I also have a washing machine. Looking for a minimum stay of 6 months, prefer long-term

I'm looking for a spacious room in a house within 10Km from CBD and has convenient access to public transport, particularly the Metro. ideal move-in date is sometime in Feb but I'm quite flexible and would also consider moving-in on March.
