I'm a professional and come from a background in the Emergency Services, Aviation and now Senior Management. I am sorted, well traveled, cultured and educated. I am friendly, social and clean. I love my family and friends and love animals as well at seeing a movie, eating out and musical theatre. A glass of wine is always nice with company or alone (maybe a bottle) :-) or beer, love a good night at a bar or club with friends. Really enjoy traveling, I'm a country boy at heart, living in the suburbs haha.
I am a 26 year old Occupational Therapist starting work at a school in the Northern Suburbs. I enjoy cooking and baking and am neat and tidy. I love a wine or two and a chinwag but not looking for a party house.
Currently studying at La Trobe University. Easy going, pay bills on time, neat and would not mind hanging out and cooking dinner when time permits. Usually out doing either working or volunteering.
Born in Singapore, moved to Australia when i was 12. Moved to the USA for a couple of years to study Fashion Design. Open to move whenever, more interested in finding the right place/people than rushing into a move. Work 25 Hours permanent for now while I look for more work/Full-time work. Looking for cool, hopefully clean, easy going people who know when to chill and when to party. Not fussed if smoking or non smoking, just not in common space. Happy to be included or left alone, not fussed. Hopefully room with someone who's ok with my GF hanging from time to time, we aren't noisy nor annoying (hopefully) I play Guitar, go to the gym (sometimes), snowboard, into cars, like sleeping, listens to stand-up comedy and podcasts when i'm working. Have a Budget of $200 per week but if the place is nice would be happy to bump up to $250. Again please don't send me a dump of a place and say it is renting for $250. NICE place is the key word here =)
I've lived on my own for two years in South Yarra. While I've loved it, I am foreign with no family here. I can get bored on my own. I had previously lived with the same roommates for two years with no issues. I seem to live life in two year increments... Now I'm after a nice balance of my own space and the social aspect of sharing. I'm very into reading, wine, music, interior decor, pilates, singing, dancing, exploring Melbourne and laughing at Ex on the Beach. I like to keep my home beautiful so tidness will never be an issue. Animals love me and I them so if there's one in the house I'll definitely try to steal some snuggles. Move in date is very flexible and I have an entire apartment worth of furniture that I can bring along or sell whatever we don't need.
Hi, My name is Anto. I have recently graduated from my masters in IT from RMIT. I am currently working in an IT consulting company located in st Kilda road as a software developer from past few month. Since I recently got permanent there, I thought about moving to a place near my work. I am pet friendly, don't smoke and drink socially during occasions. I am currently looking for a private room in an apartment or house along the st kilda road ideally somewhere near domain interchange. I am also fine with locations within 5-10 minutes walking distance to tram stations along st kilda road. Looking forward to meet you. fb-antodoms
We're on the hunt for a few amazing humans to team up with to share life, food and laughter in the north/west/north-western suburbs of Melbourne. Hoping to kick off a new lease any time from July 8 onwards. ABOUT US: Mischa (hubby) is 26 and is an Air Traffic Controller at Tulla airport. He reads economics and finance books for fun and he can have a conversation with anybody about anything. So he's the brains of this operation! I'm Naomi, 23, in transition right now between work and study. I've been an early childhood educator but I’m now returning to my life-long dream: to study everything humanities at university. So I'll be studying full time as of this coming semester. I'm also a writer. And I love cooking and hosting big, messy, delicious, happy dinners for everybody. We’ve been married 3 ½ years and have no kids or pets. We've been sharehousing for 2+ years. We have rental references available. We like to be friends with our housemates, not just strangers sharing a house! That being said, we need our privacy and down time as much as anyone, and respect others' space. We don't own a TV. You are welcome to bring one with you, but please don't be one of those people who has it turned on all the time (even if it is on mute). That's a deal breaker for us! ABOUT THE (theoretical, not-yet-existent) HOUSE: This is a house where... … everyone works together to foster a friendly, honest, open, supportive culture ...you can invite friends over for a meal or a beer, but in a way that respects other's needs. (If you know another housemate is doing 6am shifts all week, it wouldn't be fair to have people over partying until midnight.) ...housies know a bit about each other's lives and what others are working through, or towards, and are there to provide friendship and conversation when somebody needs to vent or laugh or brainstorm …you feel free to go into hibernation mode and escape from the world and housemates when you need private down time, and the other housemates respect that ...everyone pitches in in equal amounts to maintain the house to a standard that makes living there a pleasant experience for all. That means being willing to clean the bathroom, or take out the bins or wash those few extra dishes that aren't yours. ABOUT YOU: - Australian citizen or permanent resident (for rent contract security) - At least 2 rental references (or 1 rental, 1 character) - Looking for a minimum 6-month lease, preferably 12 months. - Employed with a reliable income (ideally, you would be willing to present an employment contract to illustrate stable employment). - Absolutely non-smoker and no illicit drugs - Reliable rent payer (shown in rental reference) - Interested in building into the culture of the house We understand this feels like a lot, but this is our first time venturing into setting up a sharehouse from scratch and we just want to make sure our butts are covered! We are also happy to show you our references so you know we're good kids. After all, if we are going to sign contracts, both parties need to feel secure and confident in their position within this legal arrangement. :) Woo, things took a turn for the serious there, hey! But at least everyone will be on the same page and secure in the above-board steps we've all taken to create the most awesomest sharehouse ever! Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to catch up for a cuppa and a chat!
I'm a 30 years old Management Consulting professional, working full time in the city. I have emigrated to Australia over 4 years ago from France and have been calling Melbourne home since. I especially enjoy spending time in nature, going on hikes and bike rides, being active (e.g. running, badminton). I tend to socialise a lot so spend most of my free time being out and about. In terms of the flatshare, I am particularly perceptive and adaptable to others, however by nature I am rather clean and tend to put in every day or couple of days. I am happy to socialise with my flatmates but have no expectation of mixing our circles of friends beyond the occasional night. If this ticks your boxes, please get in touch and let's take it from there!
Hey guys! Engineering student here, studying in England. I'll be moving to Melbourne in July as an exchange student for a semester (until November/December). Looking for a place preferably with other students/young professionals in their 20s, not too far from U of Melbourne. Lots of years of experience of house sharing. I'm very easy-going and clean, enjoy cooking, exercise & sport, music and going out, but also appreciate some peace and quiet (especially when it comes to studying). Looking for others with similar interests, that can balance work and play.
Hi! I am Erica, 25 from Perth, with my partner Wail, 22 from Morocco. We are pretty new to Melbourne so are hoping to find a place where we can make some friends and feel at home. I work full-time in public health, and Wail works in hospitality as well as being an artist. He is very creative, plays guitar and loves working with his hands. Is super handy around the house. I mostly read and watch terrible movies. We love a good tv binge every now and then, and love to chat. Wail is an amazing cook if you ever want to share meals, we are both tidy and neat and I love to clean (honestly), but we both grew up in full houses and travelled a lot so we know how to live with others and go with the flow. We are very respectful of privacy, and especially sleep! Also we love animals so anything you have we will be super excited about. Hope to hear from you soon!
I'm 21,queer, and studying in architecture at RMIT , I'm also working at a firm very close to uni in north Melbourne so it would NEED A perfect location for me. Easy going, social and clean! Enjoy sports, films and video games. One of those weird people who actually enjoys cleaning so happy to do more than my fair share. Looking for a flatshare of like minded people who are as excited to explore melbourne for the next few months and maybe beyond! Graduated and worked as a doctor last 3 years but taking a bit of a break to do something different for a bit, aiming to stay here 6months-1year.
Hi,guys. I'm a Brazilian student that is trying to apply to study master here. Meanwhile, I'm studying leadership and management. I work a lot, and when at home I'm studying or reading. I'm not a party girl at all, but always keen to have a drink at home or in a cool pub when I'm free. I'm really easygoing, neat and tidy. Like everything organised and in place!
Hi future housemates, I'm a full time PhD student looking for a place to live with my elderly lady cat who's been my companion for a great many years. I work part time at a university and I'm a freelance writer. I love hanging and chatting over a glass of wine and the occasional dinner with housemates as well as respect others' privacy. I'm quite politically minded and open to all ideas- so like minded housemates would be fab to hang out with and have interesting conversations. Anything I've missed just ask :)
I’m 21 and have recently finished my bachelor in liberal arts and sciences in Amsterdam and studying biosciences at the Uni of Melbourne. I’ve spent 4 months living in Sydney working part-time and have lived alone during my studies in Amsterdam so I am on the ball with paying rent and doing my share of chores and dinner-making etc. at home. I’ve played the violin and viola for 10 years and love going to gigs and discovering new musicians, discovering incredible food places around town and running. While I love being out of the house and staying busy, I enjoy nights in with some good company, good music or movie and of course food and drinks! My best friend Nicole just graduated and is working as a graphic designer and also has training in working as a tennis coach. We are both mindful and respectful of personal space but definitely looking for a place we can actually feel at home and with a chilled, friendly vibe.
Hi There! My name is Rachel and I am a 24 year old social worker from Launceston, Tasmania who is planning to move to Melbourne very soon! I currently have a few full time positions that I am coming over next week to interview for so I hoping to be moving over with full time work. I currently work part time at Woolworths and have done so for the past six years whilst I was at University. I have a 5 year old dog named Lila and she is a Weimaraner but she is not one for needing big spaces, if she had it her way she would spend her life curled up at the end of my bed. She is very docile and placid as she gets plenty of exercise and spends most of the rest of the day sleeping. I do have a severe berry allergy (except blueberries) so I am looking to live somewhere where with people who are kind enough to give up eating strawberries and raspberries as I will react to them on contact or if my food has been in the same fridge. On the other hand though I have been told that I am a great cook and I am more than happy to cook up a few meals now and again that will make up for it I promise! I'm an easygoing person and I love to have a good chat but I am just as happy to keep my own company. Would love to find somewhere with lovely people and cant wait to hear from someone soon! Cheers, Rachel
Friendly student who loves to have a chat but also respects and enjoys down time and her own space. I love eating out, drinking wine on the occasion and working out. I'm rarely home but when I am, am happy to socialise- go on a walk, get a drink out, or just chill out separately. I'm easy going and always bubbly!
My name is Zack, I'm 25 years old and I'm currently seeking a private room in a share house. I feel I'm a friendly and fair person with a pretty good awareness of personal space and peoples emotions so I won't annoy the shit out of you don't worry. I work full time as a professional house painter. I work Monday to Friday and sometimes weekends too. Don't mind the odd bar sesh but I'm really into raves and doofs. I love all kinds of electronic music but l enjoy most music anyway. Part of my job is cleaning homes spotless after the paint work is complete so I tend to transfer that into my living space so it's not that I'm a neat freak it's just cleaning is sort of second nature to me and I enjoy a clean space anyway as I'm sure most people do. I also love to cook, especially for others. Hoping to meet some like minded individuals but I'm honestly open to anything. Let me know, thanks!
Hi my name is Jay, I'm currently living in Camberwell and i work as a marketing executive 5 days a week. I'm a friendly and easygoing person who appreciates cleanliness and respects others private space. I enjoy having a drink or two with housemates. We currently have a ritual of meeting once a week for playing board games or some sport. I do not own a car so would prefer something close to public transport and supermarkets.
Down to earth, easy going and tidy proffessional couple. Luke works full time as a Civil Engineer in North Melbourne and Jasmin works part-time at an Art Gallery and is completing her Master's in Arts Curatorship at University of Melbourne. We also own a Farm in South Gippsland and will be there most weekends.
