I'm friendly and easy going. I'm social but very respectful of others and their personal space. I live a clean and healthy lifestyle and love being out and about. I'm tidy, responsible and like to keep things simple. I'm a graphic designer by day and a professional music by night playing residencies in the CBD Melbourne approx 4 nights a week.
Hey dudes, I’m looking for a room end of Juney because our lease is up and Moonee Ponds isn’t gentrifying quick enough for my liking. I’m a part time study, part time worker, full time chiller kinda gal. Ideally looking around Fitzroy North, Clifton Hill, Carlton North (or further inner) given everything I do is north & east (study, volunteering, coffee). Really, my only prerequisites for a room is big enough to put my shit in with some lush natural light. Am hoping to find some chillers for housemates that enjoy a boogie just as much as a quiet shiraz. Let me know/tag ya rooms/tag ya friends/idm.
I currently live in Brunswick, my housemate is moving in with her partner so I'm looking at a few options in the area. I'm 27, work full time for Oxfam Australia in the events team, based in Carlton. I have been living in share houses for years so I'm fairly used to them. I'm an open minded, chilled, clean person. I love travelling and have a passion for human rights. I also love food and the odd vino! I'm looking for a clean, calm and friendly home. Ideally filled with natural light, a modern kitchen and friendly housemates 😊
Hello my name is Mikaela and I'm 30 years old and have just moved down to from Sydney, for work. I work in marketing and brand management for kitchenware and homewares. I love to cook, watch documentaries, socialize, go on adventures and discover new places. I tend to also hit the gym/yoga a few times a week. I enjoy being able to bond with the people I live with but am also respectful of everyone's space and alone time (as I too need mine!). I consider myself to be very clean and tidy person and I usually look for someone with similar standards. I've flat shared since I was 17, so I come well trained! As I've just moved down from Sydney, I may have a friend sleeping over for the weekend every now and then (not too often but thought I should mention this), but will most likely be out and about if that happens! I also really enjoy to share a meal and a wine/tea with my house mates when possible.
Hi there My name is Angie. I have lived in Melb for about 1,5 years now. I am a biologist and environmental specialist. Currently, I'm studying Agriculture and working in hospitality at the CBD. I'm a really chilled out, easy going, decent and respectful person. In my spare time, I enjoy attending festivals, parks, exhibitions, going out for drinks, volunteering in conservation programs or just staying at home taking a good rest and watching movies. Also, sometimes I join MeetUp groups to have a hike and take pictures exploring many parks in Victoria. I like to keep my house clean and tidy, Non-smoker, and I pay bills and rent on time. I'm looking for clean, friendly, social and easy going housemate(s) in their late 20s early 30s and a balance between friendship / socialising and mutual respect for space and privacy, and enjoying sitting down for a brew, tea, and occasional family meals. Hopefully a very short walking distance to the train station, and a private and preferably unfurnished room! I'm willing to pay up to $160 per week + bills. Please feel free to message me if you have anything available As a plan b, if some girl is interested in sharing a room at CBD or surroundings, please let me know. Cheers!
Hello! I am relocating from Perth to Melbourne in August. I am a hard-working, friendly, mature, tidy, respectful housemate that gets along with people of all age groups. I am a creative type that loves to read, watch live music, and kitschy b-grade films. I don't have any pets, but I love animals. My ideal home would be a safe place relatively close to public transport, and I would like to stay for at least six months. I will be in Melbourne mid-June for job hunting, so if there are any early birds that would like to have an interview then, it can certainly be arranged. Looking forward to calling your beautiful city my home, and to meeting you. Thank you!
Originally from Brisbane, I am making the move down to Melbourne for work in mid-late August. Looking to join a house with some fun and relaxed people that can show me the ropes around Melbourne, so definitely hoping for a social house. I work in PR/Media, and live a pretty active and social lifestyle. Happy to expand from the search area listed. Please note that I will be in Europe from late June until the end of July, so might be a bit sloppy with replies in that time.
Hey, we are Paul and Simon, just arrived in melbourne and looking for a place to stay. We both are from Cologne in Germany. A city you could compare to Adelaide. We finished our school and decided to go to Australia together. We always shared the dream to come to this big country, because it's so wide and opened and maybe a sign of unlimited freedom. Paul came here 2 months earlier than me. In this time he stayed in a hostel in Perth, bought our gorgeous car (Mitsubishi Pajero, 1997), enjoyed his life and worked a bit in the wire lifting season in Margaret River. The 2 months were passing by quite fast and soon I was in Australia as well. As I arrived, we were working quite a time for a removal company in Perth to finance our expensive life in the hostel (OBB) and to safe a little bit money for the road trip up the west coast. After our road trip, we decided to work in Margaret River again. So we worked in the grape picking season... It totally missed our thoughts, because we got paid per bucket and there were to many workers in this small area. So we didn't received a permanent job ( We can't see grapes anymore). So we decided to go to Melbourne. After a great second road trip, we would like to experience big city life and stay a bit longer to meet some new people, finally stay in a permanent place and... to work and safe some money. We don't like the CBD that much, that's why we would like to live in a surrounding suburb. Near Fitzroy would be nice, because two good friends from us are living there. So about us, we are smokers (but not in the flat, I understand that). We like to go out, but also to relax on the couch sometimes. We do like party, but we are not that kind of people who are destroying anything or play music when everybody wants to sleep. I am not sure if there is anything I've missed, but if you got any questions you can send us a message ! Thank you P&S
Hi, I am a Masters of Landscape Architecture student at the University of Melbourne. I am an international student with previous experience living in shared accommodation. I am pretty easy going, conscientious and respectful. I like to keep busy and like exploring new places, but am equally at home catching up with housemates over a beer or two. Being vegetarian transitioning towards vegan, I tend to cook for myself but am always open to finding out what others think about my food. I like keeping my surroundings clean and appreciate clean people. I am also environmentally conscious and would enjoy living with similar humans. I am looking for a room in a house or a flat which I could call home for at least the next 6 months and am looking to move asap.
Hey Everyone, I'm relocating to Melbourne for work from Adelaide and am needing a place to live. I am a Civil Engineer who has lived in a share house since 2011 and have managed to stay good friends with all my previous house mates. I'm easy to get along with and can maintain a tidy household. I enjoy watching and playing sports, socialising with friends (I spent 5 months in Melbourne the past year so have a starting network of friends and know my way around the city), exploring new places to eat and going out for drinks. Not really a fan of hosting parties but happy for social drinks at home before heading out somewhere. Coming from Adelaide I will typically have friends and family come visit, so I'm easy going when it comes to friends / family visiting. I have the max budget at $325 but that is relatively flexible. Open to the idea of renting a new place with someone as well! Looking forward to hear from you all! Allen
Hi guys, I'm a 21yo woman working in Accounts at a construction company in Port Melbourne. I'm looking for home where I can relax after work with a glass of whiskey and watch some TV or ready a book. I keep fairly busy but do enjoy some time hanging out at home.
Sam and I are both quiet, clean and respectful people. We are always up for a chat & we only drink on special occasions, such as birthdays. Sam is a student at collarts & I am a student at Holmesglen, we both work part time as well. For fun, we just watch Netflix & see friends whenever we can. You won't regret us living with you 😌
Hello, I am an Indian and a vegetarian. I can cook and I mostly make my own meals. I do not drink or smoke. I study at Trinity College, University Of Melbourne. I usually stay on campus for most of the day. Super friendly. I love watching movies. I swear I'm funny.
Hey, I'm originally from WA, now settled in Melbourne and looking for a new place. Clean, easygoing, respectful of others' space and privacy, enjoy a good chat. Currently working part time, looking to begin study also. Get in touch if you have any rooms on offer or would like to team and find a place ヽ(*・ω・)ﾉ
Hi! I'm moving from Sydney to Melbourne for work in late June. My weekday routine is the 9-5 and exercise a few days a week. I love to binge watch a tv series or read a good book. I enjoy the company of others but equally enjoy being on my own. I enjoy a good glass of wine, and am excited to explore all that Melbourne has to offer! Looking for a place where I'd have my own bathroom and car space. Alternatively, looking for a flatmate to team up with and find a place together.
I am a 36 yr old male from NZ and my partner is 33 from Japan. We have been working as flight attendants in the middle east for the past 2 years and have decided to come back to Australia to start a new life. I will be working as crew for Qantas. My partner will be looking for a job and will have a partnership visa. We are both tidy and quiet. I will be away a lot but will need a quiet place to sleep during days off. I start Nov. 16 but will be wanting to move in a bit earlier. I would perhaps like to move in around November 5 and my partner will be arriving sometime in December.
