Hi! I'm a french student doing a working holiday in Australia. I am looking for an accommodation in Melbourne as soon as possible. I would prefer to live in a shared house around the center of the city with friendly and serious people. I am really clean and tidy, and would be pleased to live with people who are too. I am easygoing, essentially quiet and have nothing against smokers or pets. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly via the website, and we could arrange a meet-up after.
Hi all, I’m Rachael, 26 years old from the U.K. I’m arriving in Melbourne on 6th November and have a working holiday visa, but planning to be based in Melbourne for the whole year. Would be looking to find a furnished room in a friendly house share soon after arriving with people happy to show me what’s good in Melbourne :) I’m a History teacher here in England and am all registered with a teaching agency in Melbourne should something suitable come up for the new academic year. Either way, I’ll definitely be looking for a job once I arrive but have plenty of savings in the meantime so rent and bills won’t be a problem. I like to keep active by playing netball, going to the gym, for walks etc and am generally a chilled, considerate person but also friendly/bubbly and always keen for a chat. Love a good brunch and coffee too! Have lived in house shares all during my time at uni so got plenty of experience with that. If you want to know anymore, just drop me a message and I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Rach :)
Hello good people, Its great to meet you, hopefully we can get along. All the things that make me great to live with are pretty simple, I'm friendly, I'm relaxed but clean, Iv lived in share housing for most of my life, so I understand how to treat people with respect and contribute fairly. Iv been in all sorts of situation ( iv been a lease holder and responsible for bills maintenance etc, iv been a roomie and I've shared places with girlfriends) and have received mostly positive reviews, feel free to check. All in all I'm just looking for somewhere that will suit me as much as ill suit the place and the people living there. I work in restaurants & cafes, iv worked as the general manager for the same company for the last 4+ years, we have 2 cafes in the city and one in south Melbourne, so ideally id like to find somewhere within that area, being close to the beach is a bonus with amenities a cherry on the top. I come with a 2.5 seater couch, a mini fridge, a medium size bookshelf (books included) and minimal drama. I'm really happy to answer any questions and would be happy to organise a time that suits to meet and chat a bit more. speak to you soon
I am from London and a 29 years old girl. I have been travelling around Central and South America the past year, and just completed my regional work after arriving in Australia in May so I can stay my second year. I work in PR & Marketing, and in my spare time like to go to small gigs, running and cycle lots. I am also a keen cook (which I can definitely share with the house). Look forward to hearing from you, S x
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a room near Hawthorn- flexible with length of stay/suburbs/move date). :) I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. ...and punctuality with rent/housekeeping, but I suppose that's a given. 😌 I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, music, games and outings such as live events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. If those things aren't really your cup of tea, i'm also open to new things and don't really drag people into my personal hobbies anyway. I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard, not a big spender. I also have an excellent rental history that I can provide references for upon request.)
I am a sociable person who also likes their own space. I am a very tidy person to live with. I work full time so really only home at nights and most weekends. Living time in the house is not yet known, depends how i like it/ how we get along Looking for a bedroom with my own Ensuite as i like my privacy
I'm a fun , friendly 25 year old female here on a working holiday visa from the UK. Embarrassing knowledge of all things Harry Potter and game of thrones related I love spending time with other people sharing a glass of wine on the sofa over some crap tv , feasting on a good brunch or exploring parts of the city but also more than happy to do my own thing! I work full time in hospitality but the opening hours are quite sociable so no rolling in at 4am or anything! I had a 9-5 job in marketing before moving here so appreciate the need for peace and quiet after a long day at the office/ uni but also do enjoy visiting local bars at the weekend to attempt a new dance move or two! Not particularly fussy about living people on a similar schedule as I'm quite a heavy sleeper , I just want to live with some nice people who I can get along with , spend time with and entertain with my embarrassing attempts at cooking!
Hi my names Anna, I'm 22 from the UK. I am on a working holiday visa and have been travelling since July. I am now wanting to live in Melbourne. I am a friendly, chatty girl and I am very clean and tidy! I like things to be organised where I am living and keep all my things this way. I love animals and cooking and I am not a huge drinker unless I am going out. I am looking to rent somewhere for around 3 months maybe longer. I am very sociable and good to talk too. Please get in touch :)
My name is Hana. I'm from South Korea and 29 years old. I moved here two months ago and am thinking about getting a PR visa(Permanent Residence Visa). I currently work full time for teaching Koreans English. I am pretty busy with work during the week, but I do enjoy socialising with housemates, having a glass of wine or cooking dinner occasionally. Back home I used to work for event company(mainly music industry) and did DJing too. I worked with a few of famous international artists like Tycho, Shigeto, Grimes, SUBTRAKT and so on. I'm a clean, considerate and respectful house mate. I'm looking for a house mate who has similar life style with me and is respectful and considerate. I want to find a home not just a sharing space 🙂 Thank you for your consideration, looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm 25, work for a charity near Queen Vic Market and am Canadian. I'm very respectful, like a tidy house, clean up after myself, and am prompt with any payments. I love a good couch session of Netflix, love a glass of wine (or four) and would love to be living with people who are social, welcoming and looking for a new friend! Pet and LGBTQ+ friendly! Current sublet ends 5 November but can leave earlier. Would like to be in a place long term, ideally 6 months plus (10 months ideal)
I'm a 30 year old Canadian who is loving my time in this city (1.5 years so far) and looking to stay long term. I'm employed full time as a welder/fabricator and also work a second job thats picks up from time to time and when it does I'm flat-out so you'd probably only see me when I get home late or when I leave early. Always up on my bills and a very tidy individual, but I also enjoy my privacy now and again and would definitely respect yours. I'm from a small town in Saskatchewan and have grown up outdoors doing various Canadian type activities, so I'm pretty handy around the house and yard and would gladly take part in any handyman type stuff. When I'm not crazy busy, I ride a lot of bmx bikes around this city's amazing facilities, I like my punk/metal shows, all types of outdoor activities, recently began collecting various odd themed tattoos for reasons I'm yet to decipher, and generally just down for a good time. Always keen for a mission out or random adventures providing I'm not working. I'm a pretty funny guy (so I'm told anyway, may not be accurate), very chill, basically just your average stereotypical friendly ice hockey loving Canadian. I do smoke, and I rarely if ever drink, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying a night out with the lads. Though I'm definitely not keen to move into a party scene again, I'm bit past that these days. My current flatmate is heading back to Canada after 5 years in Melbs, and that leaves me looking for a new flat hopefully by the end of the month (bit late for me to be looking but like I said, flat-out). Hoping to make it out for some viewings in the coming weeks and would love to meet any like minded individuals! Thanks for looking, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me anytime for a chat or a meet up :) Cheers!
