Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time! :)
Hey everyone, I'm looking at moving to Brisbane in a couple weeks from Ayr. I have just left my job in childcare, for a new start and new adventures in Brisbane. I haven't found a job in Brisbane yet but am currently looking for bar, cafe, nanny or Childcare work. I also do a bit of part time modelling for Tamblyns. I am easy going, open minded, friendly, clean, respectful and love to make the most of my weekends. I enjoy my own space but am interested in meeting new people and new adventures. Also love any chance I get to head to the beach.
I am a professional who works away from home 4 days per week (Mon to Thursday) and travels home to the GC on Thursday evenings. I am very neat and tidy, keep to myself and easy going. I'm not a drinker or smoker and love to exercise when I can. Looking for around 6 months but maybe more if things work out well in the accommodation.

Hi, My name is Anna. I'm an incoming exchange student from Sweden and I am looking for accommodation from February 12, 2017 to June 25, 2017, so around 5 months. I will be studying education at ACU in Brisbane, I'm looking to find accommodation in the area close to the campus. If possible I'd like the place I rent to have furniture. More about me. I am an active person who enjoys being outdoors and travelling (especially to New Zealand). I am a responsible and reliable person and I am financially able to support myself during my studies and have done so for the past few years. I am a quiet person who respects the boundaries of the people I live with, but I am also sociable and up for a chat. I am quite capable of cleaning up after myself and pitching in to keep communal areas clean. I enjoy cooking, especially baking. If you think I'd make a great housemate feel free to contact me and ask any further questions that you may have :).
Im 19 and will be attending uni later next year as well as juggling a job so ill be pretty tired and anti social during the week however the little party girl thats within might come out every now and again during the weekends / uni breaks. I am very relaxed, respectable, clean and always down for a wine/ beer.
I am a 20 year old queer girl currently living in Bundaberg. I recently completed my first year of study and am looking to relocate. My roommate needs to move out and I can't afford the rent on my own. I like to watch movies and play games, listen to music and read. I keep mostly to myself but also enjoy some casual company. I can keep myself tidy, but if I get lax in chores, a gentle nudge is all I need - I am rather forgetful.
Hello! I'm an international student from Japan and currently study at Griffith uni! I'm easygoing, love to talk with people, and I'd like to have flatsmats or roommates I can spend time with as a good friend :) Since I'm an international student who currently arrived here 2weeks ago, my English isn't perfect. But! I'm trying really hard to improve my speaking and also I don't have a big language problem in daily life. Actually if you are interested in Japan or another country's culture I will be a best flat mate/ roommate.
Hi everyone! My name is Anna. I am very active. I do a lot of sports, will definitely need a fitness club near by. I will always respect your privacy. I am friendly and tidy. I work as an English teacher and love my job :-)
21, just looking at moving to Brisbane, hairdresser. I am respectful and tidy, like to have fun on the weekends
Hi there! I'm Katrina :) I'm 26 years old and work full time in the city in Human Resources. I am a very clean, tidy and respectful housemate. My job can be stressful at times so I am pretty quiet during the week (i.e. slobbing out with Netflix, having dinner with friends and doing Pilates) and I like to enjoy my weekends (drinks with friends, shopping, trips to the beach, etc.) I respect my housemates' privacy and personal space but I also like to be social when we are all in the mood! I am looking to either team up to start a lovely new house or move in to an already established house that requires furniture (I have 2 beds, washing machine, fridge, smart tv, sofa, dining table/chairs and outdoor furniture) but could be persuaded to sell if the right house and housemates came along :) I can be flexible with my move date but would need to give my current place at least two weeks notice :) Feel free to drop me a message if you would like to know more about me, look forward to speaking soon! Katrina :)
Hi! I am a 21 year old female looking for a place to stay until January, I am quiet and like to keep to myself but I am very friendly and approachable. I have a boyfriend who currently stays with me once to twice a week, so I would like for him to be able to stay with me a couple nights at a new place. I am into fitness and healthy eating, but I also have long hours at work, starting early in the morning, and sometimes working past midnight so I would not be there a lot of the time. Please feel free to send me a message if I sound like the girl you'd like to have live with you :)
Hey, I'm Kai! I'm a 22 y.o. from Singapore who is going to study in QUT for 2+ years in 2017 and so I am searching for a place to call home in Brisbane. :) I have done an okay amount of traveling, mostly by myself staying in hostels and so I have no problems with socialising and sharing (although I'm looking for a room all to myself). I am a responsible, clean and tidy individual so you don't have to worry about dishes left in the sink uncleaned or toothpaste smeared on the basin. I'm friendly, open and laid-back so I'm easy to make friends with and hangout. :) Sometimes I like to have a fun night out and sometimes I like to have a quiet evening by myself. I will respect your personal space and hope you do the same for me as well! I like the outdoorsy stuff especially surfing (I'm a beginner and am hoping to surf more!); video games are also my thing and I love hanging out with friends in town in malls, in bars, etc. So dear future roommate(s), I look forward to meeting you!
What I'm looking for: A room within a sharehouse with 1 other person, with an ensuite (or private) bathroom. It will be a quiet, clean place that respects my privacy and sleep (no party houses). I enjoy gardening, and have some herbs and tomato plants, enjoy daily exercise, along with drawing and playing guitar.

Currently living in my own apartment on the Gold Coast, but have to relocate due to work. Need to relocate before 14th November. New job will keep me busy - permanent roster: 5 days on 5 days off followed by 4 nights on 4 days off - work hours are 7.00 to 7.30 (am and pm shift) - so no silly start and finish times to annoy anyone. Obviously will need to sleep during the days while on night shift, but generally a pretty good sleeper. I grew up in the country, I am a friendly and easy going, happy person, can't survive without morning coffee, clean and tidy, try to lead a reasonably healthy lifestyle but love good food and a social drink. Often away on days off visiting family and friends. Consider myself young for my age. NEED CAR SPACE
I'm a very easy going bloke, tidy and clean. I've had a rather diverse life experience: born and raised in Cairns, studied a Bachelor of Science (Ecology and Conservation Biology) in Brisbane, worked in Singapore for my first professional job in the landscaping industry at age 21. I moved from Singapore to Sydney to work as a Bush Regenerator in the Western Sydney region. I've recently been offered a full time position in Brisbane in a scientific company as a Natural Areas Technician. I'm a well spoken individual who recognises boundaries and avoids contention. My ideal place has wooden features (esp. Floors), space, a nice kitchen, natural light and either a veg. patch or community garden nearby. Known for my chefery and humour, I love plants, gardening and animals. Exploring natural landmarks, food and just hanging out on the weekend/down time.
Looking for a private room (no shared rooms please) with my own bathroom and a secure place to park my motorcycle (happy to squeeze next to a car). Ideally, I'd like to start/join 2-3 other people in a share house or large apartment. I work full time at an environmental engineering consultancy 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Outside that I enjoy hanging out with friends, hiking, playing tennis, touch footy and going to the gym. I like to stay quiet during the week but am always keen for a drink and meeting new people on Friday and over the weekend. I am orderly and clean after myself, and am looking for likeminded people in that regard.
Hi! I am a Canadian here on a working holiday visa. Just got out of a relationship so looking to meet new people. I will be working full time Monday to Friday in South Brisbane so I prefer to be near there. During the week I tend to keep to myself but I love adventures on the weekends like going to the beach or to a bar but I also like to stay in and hangout with the fam. Looking for some cool, friendly and fun new roommates :)
I work in the fitness industry so up early and into bed early. Not a huge drinker or party girl. I Love being out and about on the weekends exploring and super excited to see what Melbourne has to offer. I love eating out and amazing coffee. I'm moving from Bondi Beach.
I am clean, respectful and friendly. Due to start a degree in Medical Laboratory Science at QUT in 2017 and I would like to find a place where I can study but get along with other housemates. I am very laid back and wouldnt mind if there were parties, as long as I can have my space when needed. Would prefer to live with people close to my age who are open minded and easy going but also responsible.
Heya! My name is Sarah. I have a small indoor cat named Dory so we're a package deal. I work Monday to Friday and sometimes Saturday morning so I like to be quiet during the week and out of a weekend. I am a homebody and like to keep to myself so I'll chat your ear off for half an hour then leave you in peace. I work in Enoggera so I'd like to be close to work as I hate traffic and like to sleep in. I'm looking for a place to move into around January 2017. I would like my own bathroom as that's where Dory's litter tray will be, along with her food and water.

Bubbly, tidy person.. (Bit of OCD in that department) Reliable and understand privacy when needy, but generally keep to myself. Bit of a gamer and movie freak, so that's pretty much me. Would love to chat more, if you have a place suitable for myself, I'd prefer furnished and around $200 / $300 a week) Bills preferred! Thank you.

Hi guys! My best friend and I are interested in starting a share house. There are some really beautiful big houses in bris (city and surrounds) and we would love to find one or two people to share a nice big place with. The places we're looking at would be about 150-200 per person a week. We both work full time and have just moved up from Melbourne. We're very fun, make a lot of jokes, very easy going and love a wine and a rant after a long day! Shoot us through a message if you like the sound of us :) Thanks xxx
Hey everybody, I am Lucrezia I'm 17 and I'm actually studying here in Brisbane city since few months. I will frequent the last year of school next year and I'm planning to return in Australia to do that, after coming back to my country,Italy, in December. I really enjoyed the Aussie lifestyle and my course of studies here. I study economics, accounting, law and history, and I hope to take an economics uni course here in Australia for a while. My stay here has been incredible and I met amazing people on my way that completely changed my life, and I hope that so did I. I believe in sharing, good friendships and kindness between every relation and in treating each other with the maximum respect. Besides that, I'm a lot of fun and im very easy to get along with and to build a good friendship with, that I hope will last further my stay! I have great cooking skills and, yes, I make a fantastic pizza and I'm always up to throw a pizza party for everyone who wants it. I am very sportive and pretty much into discovering new places and camping whenever there is the chance! I work in HR and spend a fair bit of time between Sydney and Melbourne for work. Work hours are fairly regular, 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday. I like to cook when I'm at home, go out for a few beers on the weekend and love to sit down for a good chat over some red whenever I get a chance.
Hey, I am a little afraid placing that I have children on here, but I guess they are actually a major part of what makes me great so they deserve the credit. I have two young ones, one in school he hangs with his dad in equal parts, but ideally I would like him to have his own room and my second is preschool aged, and spends most of her time chilling with me both at home and work where she attends full time. We have a busy life and love it that way!! I'm interested in looking into shared living with another single parent or parents. I have been in Australia for ten years, I am currently studying to become a Kindergarten teacher, and I work full time in a local childcare centre. I've been with them for four years and they are my "home", so a local house would be best.
