Hi, Just finished my fieldwork here in Sydney for my master's thesis in social anthropology and am about to do a little trip to celebrate! As the girl I rent my current room from need to have her room back I need to find a new place to stay when I come back by the end of February. Will be in Sydney until 26/1 so could always come by and introduce myself before then. A little bit about me: I am 32 years old and from Sweden. I have a lot of interest but some of them are health, art (both creating and enjoying other's), music, photography and travelling. Love spending time with friends but also enjoy my space. I am trustworthy, respectful, independent, open minded and easy going. Also vegan but have no problem living with someone who is not.
French student looking for a accomodation in Sydney. My university is in Surry hills. French is my native language, but I have also a good level in English (12 months of exchange student in High School) and I speak a little bit of Spanish. I love read, watch series and shopping. I like hang out and drink (not to much) but also stay home and enjoy quiet night. I am nice and funny girl, who like cooking. I love laugh, talk and meet new people. I am very clean and respectful people, who understand that there are rules or requirements to share a home with other people. I also respect the privacy of others people and I always pay my rent in time.
I'm from Vietnam, having studied and worked in Singapore for 8 years. I'm going to Sydney University this Feb to pursue Master of Interaction Design. I'm a clean and organized person. Privacy is what I look for in accommodation. Travelling and photography are my passion. During my free time, I like reading fiction books, listening to music and hanging out with friends.
Hi everyone. My name is David, I'm a 30yr old Taiwanese boy, currently studying cookery and working to pay the tuition fees at the same time. So I have a quiet busy life, but when I have free time, I like to do some social drinking, hangout, BBQ at park, beach, ...etc. Easy going, a good nonjudgmental listener, love food, love cook, and love to share, a big time home cook. As a chef, I can't stand people who doesn't clean after them self. That's pretty much everything I can think about right now. Hope can hear from you soon. Cheers :)
Hi potential roomies! Im a fun outgoing working professional who loves a good laugh, loves a nice glass of Pinot at the end of a hard week! I'm looking for people who I can live with in an enjoyable and fun environment but also go out for a meal, drink and coffee with! I am in a relationship but will spend most of my time outside of the house, (I work full time 9:30-7pm, and love having a bit of fun every now and then!) however I love to chill, and have lazy days around the house. Looking to meet some great people and move to the closer to the city from Cronulla. Let me know if this seems like you and I'd me more than happy to meet you! :)
Pay my rent on time, clean & respectful, enjoy great conversation over a home cooked meal with some wine, usually find me working at my laptop or out working in hospitality from 5pm - 2am Wednesday to sunday.
We are a chilled couple from Northern Ireland, we will mostly be working to save up money for our travels but will be up for a night out now and then! We also enjoy going to the gym after work and love going camping at the weekend too. We are clean and tidy and I enjoy cooking and spend some time in the kitchen! We are both sociable people but also enjoy some quiet time on our own so will be respectful of your own private time too. We have been traveling for a year now and understand how to share and compromise whilst living with others! We hope to hear from you soon :)
We are a English couple, love to socialise and meet new people, like to go out and drink on the weekends, have BBQ's at the beaches/parks and love exploring new places. We both work full time and looking for some similar people to live and have fun with. We are very tidy and respectful people, looking for long or short term places to stay.
Hey, I'm Jo. I'm a marketing manager who has moved from London to Sydney for the year on a working holiday visa. I am sporty, into music, a big explorer and up for a good time. Looking to be flexible during my day so subletting or short term contracts are preferable.
I am spanish 28 year old student. I am currently working part time. I like to enjoy little things in life like music, beach or a walk through the park. I am warm, honest and open minded. I am also respectful and independent.
I'm a pretty cruisy guy. Work in the CBD during the week and usually surf on the weekends. Always up for a bit of chat/banter. In the house i'm clean, tidy and very respectful of others space and belongings. Only looking for a short 2 month stay as I will be moving in to my apartment in Ultimo in March sometime.
I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I don't drink although I am social. I keep myself busy working two jobs and studying full time.
Hi I'm Sophie. I'm a currently studying Fashion Design at university in England. I am moving over to Sydney for 3 months to complete my internship within the fashion industry. I am moving over with 2 other students who are also completing their placement year within the fashion industry. We are confident, friendly, outgoing, clean and tidy. Our main interests include fashion (no clues there), visiting art exhibitions/museums, keeping fit at the gym, drawing and photography. We are open to house shares and know how to show respect to other people's space and belongings. Ideally, we are looking for somewhere with 3 bedrooms but will be able to share 2 rooms if necessary. Thank you for taking the time to read this😁

Hi, I've recently moved to Sydney on a working holiday visa, with the aim of landing a professional job and gaining sponsorship. I'm 25, enjoy most sports, gym training and I'm generally a tidy individual. I own an apartment back in Scotland so I appreciate the importance of finding a suitable tenant/roommate. Would potentially stay longer than 4 weeks, accommodation is dependent on my work circumstances.
Hi All I'm 28, and looking for a friendly and social flat to move into! I work as a life coach and EA, and although I am originally from the Northern Beaches I have been living in Europe the past three years (London, Dublin & Amsterdam). In my free time I'm often working on my business, or you'll find me down at the beach, reading, yoga-ing or meditating, or out exploring Sydney. I've flatshared for many years, and love somewhere with flatmates who want to share a meal or glass of wine. I'm fairly tidy, never leave dishes in the sink, and have a car that I unfortunately NEED a parking spot for (or miraculously good street parking). Ideal place is fairly centrally located near shops, transport and a little nightlife. If you think we might be a fit please get in touch! Laura
I am about to start a one year course in graphic design at TAFE institute, I am a creative person, clean, organized and very nice with others. I lived four years in barcelona while studying product design, it was a great experience, I lived in two share flats, it was always nice and fun. I'm going to work in my free time, I also enjoy exercising, outdoor activities, reading science fiction books and watching movies. I am calm but I also like to share a glass of wine or watch a movie with my roomates from time to time.
Hey I’m Jess! I’m 24 and am moving to Sydney to start my graduate job as a Civil Engineer, so I'm looking for somewhere long term to call home. On weeknights you’ll find me cooking some delicious fresh meals with a glass of wine in hand. On weekends I love going to the beach or getting outdoors, having some dranks, playing sport, going to live music, dancing and meeting new people! I’m a super friendly, sociable and laid back country gal (grew up in Wagga, went to University in Wollongong) who is excited to see what Sydney has to offer. Would love to live with housemates who like to share the occasional dinner or lazy Sunday brunch. I have no pets and am the owner of a ute (WAY more useful than you think - hopefully you have somewhere I can park this? Haha)
My name is Ryan from Indonesia. I'm going to study in Sydney starting 6 Feb in NYFA Sydney majoring in filmmaking. I already graduated with a journalism degree back in Indonesia, but it's a blessed opportunity to study (again) filmmaking here in Sydney, it is always been my dream to study and learn about Film properly. I'm pretty laidback and little bit introverted so I won't bother the people that live in the house. I had the experience lived in a share room back when I studied in Indonesia, so I know how to respect privacy, keep it clean and neat, and also have the social chat from time to time. I can speak and listen quite well without problem in English, but I still not familiar with Australian slang and accent lol I will also enjoy some time together with the housemates I live with (if you feel like it), also I can be your personal photographer and videographer. Either really for a serious project or just for your Instagram feed, I will be glad to help. TL;DR I'm tidy, neat, independent, and the important thing I will pay on time for the rent so I won't ruin the share house that I live in :). I'm planning to move as soon as possible (Currently living in relative's house in Narwee, yes even you don't even know where is it possibly, it's really far from the city so I plan to move ASAP.) Please hit me up if you are interested !
Hi! I am a 32 year old Dutchy, living in Sydney since April 2016 (here for long term). I work as a career coach and trainer in the CBD and also study fitness in the evenings - so I won't be home a lot. I like to call myself a modern hippie. I am into meditation, going to the gym, binge watching some series from time to time - hence the modern in hippie - having dinner with friends, yoga, running, reading, my family and being in the mountains. I am a considerate room mate, who likes to have friendly chats with roommates but also have time on my own in my room. I like to keep the house tidy and clean, but am no neat freak. I don't party a lot and am looking for housemates that live a similar life style (up between 5 and 8 am, in bed between 10 and 12 pm). I like staying active by going on to the gym, hikes, yoga, and enjoy going out for breakfast, coffee or dinner, and sometimes having chill out time by binge watching a series or a good movie.
Hey guys, I'm an open minded and fun person. But also very tidy and organized. I have 5+ years of experience in living in flatshares and enjoyed it a lot. Therefore I know when to give space and privacy. Because I work for a German company that sent me here for 6 months (maybe longer) I tend to be a little quiet during the week. But on the weekends I like to socialise, do sports or explore the city. I'm looking for my own place or a great flatshare that has no problem with me having guests that are visiting from Germany once or twice. The room has to be furnished. Also ideally the place is close to a train station because my office is in Rhodes. Hope to hear from you guys, Max
Hey, i'm a clean and approachable roommate. I get along with most people and hope to meet some nice people. I grew up in dubai and came to Australia 2 years ago. Get back soon and reply on here cause my phones in a mess atm. Cheers! hope to see you soon :)
Hello There! We will be moving to Sydney from Brisbane mid-late January and will be looking for a furnished room in a share house or granny flat. We would prefer our own bathroom but are happy to share in the right place. A bit about us ... Rowan is an environmental consultant and I am a (newly graduated) urban planner, we are moving because I have been lucky enough to get a graduate job. We have both lived in share houses for 6+ years so are completely used to pitching in with cleaning. We are friendly, social people who are happy to chill out but also like time to ourselves. We also have two pets, an indoor 4yr old cat, who is very chilled and affectionate. And a 5yr old golden retriever who is very well trained and very lazy, he is used to a fairly small yard and after his morning walk generally sleeps/eats all day. I am willing to pay a pet bond if required - but if you can not allow pets we have arranged for our fur babies to stay with family. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would be interested in us as roomies :-).
Hiya Sydney-siders, Hope you’re all having a fab day! I’m moving from Canberra to Sydney to study songwriting and continue working in retail whilst I try to discover my way into the music industry. The course starts in February but I’d like to move to Sydney around the last weekend of January (flexible with dates). I’m super bubbly, easy-going and have a passion for music. I’m very reliable and clean as I’ve been brought up by my grandma (and we all know grannies are control freaks hahah). I’m not a crazy party animal but I love socialising and meeting new people. I’m looking for housemates who can show me around the city and make the house feel like a home. I love exploring new places, watching live music at local bars, eating good hearty food, spending all day at the beach, having a nice cold bev on a hot summer day, jamming out with my guitar, dancing all night long, and just having a really good chat with my potential housemates. I want to find the right house for me and I believe it is the people inside the house that make it a home so I am looking for like-minded people who are willing to let me into their friendship circle and share a good laugh together. That being said, location is still important and I am looking for somewhere with easily accessible and relatively quick (10-20 minutes) public transport to my university and work in Ultimo. If you’re interested please send me a message. I am so excited about my move to Sydney and cannot wait to hear from you! Thanks so much and have a wonderful day! x
I'm social, live a few drinks, am passionate about music and films. I'm love my job as a cinematographer as I get to tell stories by painting images using lighting, composition and camera movement. I'm a clean, hardworking nice guy who wears my heart on my sleeve. I also need off street parking at a minimum as I own a lot of film equipment.
Hi guys! Im looking for a room to move into by Jan 28th. I'm non smoker, friendly 26 years old, Indonesian female. I have lived in Australia for the last 8 years and I work as a photographer. I'm social but also like to have privacy / quiet time. I enjoy visiting new cafes / restaurant, and usually have a glass of wine at the end of the day. Extremely reliable and punctual, pays rent on time, great sense of humour, clean and chilled! :D Ideally looking for a house that's not too crowded maybe max of 2-3 housemates. Inner west preferred, Leichhardt, Balmain, Rozelle or Newtown.
Hi I'm Abeer, I'm an MBA student at Macquerie University. Have been in Sydney for a bit more than a year enjoying all the sights & adventures the city has to offer :). I'm quite easygoing, neat, considerate (in terms of flatmates & noise), a foodie who loves trying out new cuisines, and enjoy meeting new people and building connections. I am fond of Newtown and the nearby suburbs, where I am looking to settle down for at least the next 6 months.
Hey everyone, my name is Mitch and I am an easy going, respectful guy who has just completed a bachelor of Construction Management Degree at the University of Newcastle. I'm moving because I have acquired a full time graduate position which is commencing mid January 2017. I am a young professional who loves an active lifestyle but doesn’t mind the occasional binge Netflix session. I consider myself to be social and will always be up for outings but I am very respectful of personal space. I am a neat person that always cleans up after myself and is very handy with repairs, maintenance and the like. Due to the associated hours of my profession, I will more than likely be out of the house a fair bit and may head home some weekends. I hope to hear more from you all and cannot wait to meet my new roommate(s)!! Kind Regards, Mitch
I'm a Brazilian Girl, I'm going to Australia to study and work. I'm easy going person, like to read, party as a Brazilian I love BBQ, love to meet people and share the good things
Hey there, I'm a 19 year old guy from Munich, Germany. I finished school last year and like nearly everybody hear in Germany, I want to travel around in New Zealand and Australia. Luckily, I managed an internship at a shipping line in Sydney (Pyrmont) from 3rd April until the 30th of June, so I'm able to improve my english skills and gain some work experience. For this period of time i search for a furnished room with some nice mates to talk and to hang out with. :) I'm an easy going person and easy to get along with. In my freetime I'm mostly hanging out with friends, watching TV-series and movies or playing computer games. Feel free to write me a message or an e-mail, if you're still looking for a roommate and think that we could get along with each other quite well. Thanks for reading hopefully contacting me :) (I'll be in Sydney around the 26th of march)
Hey, I'm Raphael, 22 and from Luxemburg. I'm a tidy and respectful person and I really enjoy having a good chat and having fun but i also need some chill times. I will be working full-time in a research center in central Sydney during my 6 month stay.
Hi, I'm a 23 year-old actor who moved to Sydney around a year ago. I'm from Melbourne originally but lived the last few years in gorgeous Brisbane. I'm currently studying acting full-time and working in hospitality part-time. I'm the kind of housemate that is up for a chat and being social but also loves my privacy. I'm super respectful of other people and their property too. When I'm at home, you can find me generally either watching a movie, reading a script or enjoying a glass or two of wine!
Hi I'm Toby, I'm 25 and I recently finished studying Design at UNSW. I work in Ticketing at the Sydney Opera House, usually 25-35 hours a week. I'm interested in cooking (especially for other people), sports, socialising and reading. I play soccer on Sundays and usually go to a friends place on Wednesdays for a weekly dinner me and my friends like to have. I am equally good at keeping to myself as I am hanging out and socialising, so would be happy with a social household or a more laid-back one. Aside from that I like to see the odd live music show, see a movie, go for a hike or just do some sort of activity. I would lean towards a more sociable household where people are willing hang out or have a chat. I have a strong friend group of my own so wouldn't be relying on the house for all of my social life, but I would like to feel like I can be friends with my housemates. Though I would also be fine with a house where people keep to themselves more. I love to cook for other people so would gladly offer up my services!
I'm a uni student in her last year of study. I am very tidy, considerate and respectful. I have a boyfriend who I like to have over a couple of nights a week. I am independent but would like to feel at home in the house and with my roommate.
Hi, My name is Anna. I'm a young professional working in the cbd. I travel a bit for work but when I'm home I love to hit the beach, go hiking, catch up with friends for dinner and drinks, see a movie etc. I like to keep my place pretty clean and am happy to pitch in with any tidying around the house. I am looking for something long term. I moved from Brisbane 2 years ago and have been in Sydney ever since :)
I'm a 23 year-old student doing design and working part time. I love design :). I need a single room for at least 6 month soon, starting from around 31st January 2017. I'm not a smoker and I only drink occasionally. I always respect other people's space and would like to keep public space clean when living with other people. I'm OK with people who smoke as long as they smoke at reasonable places. I am very independent and can be quite busy sometimes due to work and school. But of course I always hang out with roomies and spend time to enrich our living experience. I'm passionate about all creative industries and am open to people with different views and interests. I currently work and practice in architecture and design related fields and also do sculpture in my free time. I need a place to stay for at least 6 month soon, starting from around 31st January 2017. Please let me know if you have a room available or would like to share an apartment with me. :)
Hi, I am honest, reliable for paying rent on time, clean and tidy. I like to keep active by playing sport and heading to the gym. Like to socialise with friends and enjoy live music. I am a relaxed and easy going person, working full time in the City.
I've been living in Sydney for the last 4 years and have always been living in share houses. I'm respectful, easy going and tidy - and know how to contribute to the place to make it home! I work full-time in social media marketing in the city. I enjoy travelling and quite often do short weekend roadtrips when I can and am currently planning my summer Europe trip!
I am Boris, and I am a 28 year old french researcher (mineralogist) that come to Sydney for 2 months to work at UTS. I like cooking, and when i do, I always do to share with others. I also like to have a drink to talk about everything, after work. I also like biking, I traveled a little in South East Asia and Africa, and, during my stay, I plan to visit some part of Australia. I already live in a shared house in France, so I understand that sharing is also the respect of each other personnal space.
I am currently on a working holiday visa, working with offices based around Sydney. I am preferably looking for a private room but I am happy to share with another for around 3 months as my visa ends in May. I am a respectful and clean housemate and have always lived in shared accommodation since Uni. I would like to find a place I can consider home even if its for a short amount of time as I would like to get to know my housemates as well as having our own social lives. I enjoy socialising and the odd cheeky glass of wine, love to go the beach on weekends, BBQs and the gym but I am also happy for a quiet night in. Please message me if you have a spare room and feel I am the right fit for your place :) Thanks! Emma
Hi there. I'm Taleih. 26yo full time professional who has been living in sharehouses for 8 years now (4 years of them in Sydney). I'll be adding part time study to my routine this year so I'll be a very busy human. I'm looking for a clean and tidy place to call home in the inner west. I enjoy having a few beers on the weekend and binge watching The Simpsons every other day. I try and get to the beach whenever the unpredictable Sydney weather allows it. I'm a pretty easy going type - I'm social in the house but also respectful of my housemate's space and privacy. Let me know if you want to know more! Cheers, T.
Hi there ! My name is Clemence, I’m a 25 year-old French girl looking for a nice place in Sydney with friendly flatmates ! I'm easy-going, open-minded and tidy. On my spare time, I enjoy exploring the city I live in, meeting new people and discovering cool restaurants & bars. I love to have people around and share dinners or drinks but also enjoy some time alone.
So I've recently made the move from Christchurch, New Zealand to Sydney for a job opportunity with the bank I work with. I'm working full time in the city Mon-Fri. I work late a few nights a week too I thoroughly enjoy a healthy amount of banter and am capable of providing it whenever necessary. Not a stranger to a beer, my arm is easily twisted when it comes to sharing in an after work beverage. I like breakfast food, Netflix and motorcycles... not necessarily in that order or limited to those exact things.... I've been going to the gym a lot recently too. I'm currently living in Erskinville but due to a change in circumstances I'll need to find a new place towards the end of Feb. I get along with my current flatmates very well and hope to keep up the trend with the next ones. As I'm new to Sydney my ideal place will be with 3-5 people in their early to mid 20's who like to go out together and have the odd party. Ideally this will be in the inner west/ newtown area. As Jim Morrison once said "the west is the best" I'm tidy, polite and have a good sense of humour, so if I sound like your type please get in touch
To all prospective housemates! Me and my better half are moving to sydney for a couple of years. Louise works in research and I am a Youth worker. We are moving over in June and are looking for a home. We dont mind covering more rent as we will be sharing a room. We both are quite career driven so aren't looking for a mad student house but at the same time we do like to drink on the weekend and every weekday. For all of you who are concerned that living with a couple can be risky, not to worry, for some strange reason we don't argue but not in a creepy way like those couples who claim to best friends. Sam and louise
I will be studying Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney this year, I'm a hardworking and conscientious person so more than happy to help with chores around the house and love a glass of wine and relaxing after a long stressful day with whomever's around :)
Local easy going couple (27 &33yo) seeking suitable like- minded accomodation. Generally up for a vino & a chat though we are tidy and respectful of communal areas. Both keen on fitness, outdoors lifestyle & work/ life balance.
