HI~~~ Preferred Stay Length: minimum four months, however, if we get along with each other. Of course, I will stay longer with you until my commencement of my study. About me: I am a 2019 master student at USyd, studying interaction design and electronic arts. Before I came to Sydney, I used to work at an internet company and a game company. My renting history: I have had plenty experiences living with other people from around the world and we are still friends even after I left that countries, which could be some kind of evident that I am nice, friendly and open-minded. My habits: Music, books, and travel In leisure time I often go to have a cup of coffee and meditate ...ahah More about me: Before I will arrive in Sydney on 4 of July, I will be staying in Taiwan with my family. Therefore, I won't be able to inspect the room and also you are unable to meet me in person. However, I trust everything you posted and said on the website (don't lie to me, be nice to me@@) For those who want to "inspect" your future roommate - me The solutions are: 1. I already connected all my social network apps to this website, feel free to check it out. 2. You can send me messages or add me on FB to chat with me. (FB is better because I am not online here everyday) 3. I am a Taiwanese, not tall and not too fat XD I looking forward to meeting new friends and experiencing this wonderful city. Feel free to contact me as you wish. (But I won't be online every day)
I work hard through the week but I like to enjoy socialising at the weekend. I'm easy going, very clean and looking to meet some awesome people on my new venture.
I'm newly graduated and have just received a job offer, so need to relocate to Sydney ASAP. I'm easygoing, tidy around the house and looking for somewhere that will be a home. I am not a big drinker, i'm more interested in cooking, health and the outdoors. That said, I don't mind the occasional cheeky bevvy after a long week. I'm a vegetarian, but i'm not going to try and force my choices on anyone else and am fine with my housemates eating whatever. I'm heaps chill and easygoing and friendly and it would be great to live with similar people! Also love pets so if you have them then great :)
I ll be travelling to sydney in the last week of july possibly. I have a long time experience of working in a multi-cultural and a multi-national environment. So getting comfortable around me and knowing each other will be an easier task. I like to keep things neat and respect people's personal space. I am a kind of guy who loves to read about history and politics around the world. I am going to pursue my master's in structural engineering at University of Sydney and its going to be an year and half long stay for me in sydney. So the greatest thing about me would be that most of the times, I would be in my university campus :P. I live a vegetarian life and I m an occasional guitarist on the sides also.
Hey guys! I'm an Italian girl of 30yo, I've already spent almost two years in Sydney and I'm going to be there for one more year, that's why I need a place I can call home, with a positive vibe. 🙂 At the moment I'm in Italy (I had to take a break from Australia if I didn't want to be killed by my family!), but I'll be back the 7th of July. I'm trying to organise some inspection in advance on the same weekend (8-9 July) so that I can move asap. About me I can say that I am a shiatsu therapist and waitress, peaceful, clean, respectful but also keen to share a glass of wine, a beer (also two) in good company and to cook some Italian dish for few friends. I'm not a party animal (even if I'd like to find housemates to hang out with sometimes), I'm vegeterian (not the kind of person who would start being annoying about that ;) ), music, animals and green lover! I'm looking for a single room with a double bed for not more than 250$ pw (bills included or part of them). If you want more information about me, feel free to contact me. Cheers Maria 🙂
We prefer staying alone. We are here for study and love peace. We aren't partying animal so no unwanted disturbance. Most of the day we'll be out working or in the university so less hustle and bustle. We don't drink or smoke and are easy going people. We tend to keep our staying place clean and tidy.
Hi, my name is Xavier (29) from France and I'm looking for a place with my partner Romina (28) from Chile. We are working in Sydney, myself like a landscaper and my partner is studying and working in a child care centre. We are planning to stay here for at least two years.
Hi there! My name is Eric. I am a 27 year old Operations Manager, living in Sydney and working in Circular Quay. My lease in Rosebery is due to end shortly, and I am in need of a new roof over my head. I am a quiet person, who likes to keep my room and house clean. I also have a passion for photography, so I am often finding excuses to drive to scenic places with my camera. If you think you might have room in your household for a Photographic, film enthusiast, who work in the Quay, please send me a message. I'd love to arrange an inspection. Hope to hear form y'all soon. Sincerely, Eric.
I'm a happy go lucky guy. Moving to sydney from India in June and am looking for a place to stay - am open to teamups/room sharing. Have previously lived with roommates in Austin, Texas and am relatively clean and tidy. Hobbies include : playing and watching football (soccer), movies, cricket. I cook and occasionally get out for drinks. Also, hoping to move around Australia on the weekends to explore. I like exploring new bars. Etc.
Hi! I'm moving to Sydney from Adelaide with my current company for a full-time role. I'm arriving on the 19th June, and will start the new position on the 3rd of July. I'd like to sign a shorter lease (3-6 months) while I find my feet in the city, but I'm also happy with longer leases if available. I'll be working in the CBD so will either use public transport or ride my bike into work, I have a car so would love parking options but I do have a back-up plan to store it, so if there's no parking that's okay. I'd personally prefer a female friendly place and a private room - I love 'me' time but I also like mingling so I think it's nice to have a great balance. I really need to make plans soon so I'd love it if you could message me! Also, I'm used to my own house in Adelaide so I love keeping it clean and tidy :) *** no shared rooms thank you ***
Hey guys! Currently moving out of a sharehouse (ideally with 1 of the friends I live with now, but if there's only one room available I will make do) and need to be out by the 7th. I work late in Newtown but am starting another part time job in Surry Hills so would really like to stay around these areas! I'm a pretty easygoing guy just looking for a place to be comfortable. When I'm home I mostly keep to myself, but I would like to live with people that are also friendly and sociable. When I'm not at work I'm generally out with friends, playing games, sleeping or studying, but I do love a few beers and some tunes. Let me know if there's anything I can help with!
Hi, I have relocated from sunny Qld to Sydney for a new job in an investment company. I am easy going, love a good chat, but also respectful of other's privacy. Likes to keep things tidy but not OCD. Most of all would like to find a place I can call home and relax after work. As I will be working in the CBD (near Circular Quay), Im looking for a place preferably close to public transport so I can commute to and from easily (train, buses or ferries). Looking for like-minded professionals to share their home.
I've been travelling for the last 10 months and am now back working full time at a very busy and stable job as practice manager in St Vincent's Clinic, Darlinghurst. I'm super chill and always keen for a drink and chat. Would be keen for a social house but not a party house as definitely need my down time after stressful days at work. I have lived in share houses before so definitely understand cleanliness & the need for privacy.
Hello ! I'll be studying in Sydney for a few months and I want to make the best out of my stay. I enjoy traveling and having fun, but also a good talk about the news, philosophy or geopolitics. I really wish to be fully immerged in the australian culture, and I hope I can perfect my English. I am tidy, happy and optimistic and I am sure we will have fun together ;)
Hey! I'm a Sydney born full time student who goes to the University of Sydney. I'm currently doing an arts degree, psych and economics major. I'm the youngest of five in my family so I'm well accustomed to sharing bathrooms/space and am used to a full house where people would always pop over and we were always entertaining. With a lot of people can come a lot of mess so I'm very conscious of tidiness and cleanliness. As you can imagine, because there was rarely a quiet moment in my household, I value my space and down time a lot and respect the space of others. Though I'm not the best saver, I work part time and budget so paying rent and utilities on time shouldn't be an issue for me. People have said I'm bubbly and friendly, loves a vino and is pretty laid back. I'm looking for a room in the inner west/inner city. I have all my own bedroom furniture but don't have anything else yet! So preferably looking for a place that is already padded out but happy to contribute as well.
Hi! I am a 25 yo French girl, coming to Sydney to do a placement at USYD to finish my studies. I am clean and tidy and have done flat-sharing all along my studies and in different countries, so I am flexible and easy to live with. I am looking for a welcoming place and nice flatmates to chat with when I come home from work, though I like some time alone too. I like cooking, enjoy going to the cinema or for dinner or drinks and enjoy a good night out from time to time. During the weekends I like walking around to discover new places or go hiking to get away from the city. I hope to hear from you soon! :) Cheers, Aurélie
Hi, hey, hello. Yes, I'm Shannon, a 22 year old college graduate from Towson University in Maryland. I graduated last May with a degree in Mass Communications and Media, and a minor in International Studies. During that time, I studied abroad in Florence, Italy and fell in love with living abroad, in which leads to where I am now as I'm moving to Australia for a year. I will be coming with no set job, and just plan to find something along the way, hopefully one to fulfill new interests I've found for myself. As a human, I'd say I'm typically a very content, mellow, and easy-going person. I'd like to say I am sociable as I always love doing things, but I also do realllllly enjoy my own space as well so there's that. I enjoy lots and lots of things, so I feel like it may be ridiculous to explain them all. Although, most are along the line of art/creative, active/exploring, and casual activities. Really, I'm bad at 'personal introductions' and honestly, this is stressing me out because I don't know what to clearly say without rambling. Sorry.
Hello, I am a 24-year-old girl from Denmark, going on exchange to Sydney to study Architecture. I am very openminded, and love to spend time outdoor, travelling, cooking and socializing with friends. I have succesfully tried to share an apartment with people I didn't knew before, and appreciate a clean space.
Hi, I'm Gen, friendly, easy going and social (but like my own space too!). Have lived in many house shares and looking for 1/2 housemates to live with. Not into massive house shares or student living. I'm South African but travelled and lived all over... (London, Melbourne, Cape Town) Been in Sydney a year and a half now and dying to move closer to Newtown, (in St. Peter's at the moment.) Uh... I struggle to write things about myself... I love yoga, bush walks, going out to music gigs (drum n bass, glitch hop), exploring Sydney (so many places so little time!) enjoy cooking, uh.... Working as a graphic designer in fashion. Ideally looking for some social, fun loving but also just nice people (like me - who has time for drama?) to live with - oh and who have pets ! :) I also come complete with a huge L shape couch I'd rather not sell, a tumble dryer and potentially washing machine.
Just moved to Sydney from Hobart after making a spontaneous decision not to long ago to come and study here cause life is short (this happened most likely after watching that one will smith flick). I'm pretty quiet and introverted but after getting comfy I'm down for friendly chats and listening to everybodies problems. Clean, respectful, LGBT+ friendly, animal lover and all the goods. Bad salesman (hoping this doesn't reflect that), if I seem like a good fit for you feel free to shoot a message, thanks! (Thats me posing with a camel but it wont fit in the thumbnail) Ryan
