Hello, 31 yr old American traveler looking for a room for rent for 3.5 months. I enjoy sports- mainly volleyball, climbing, soccer, football, and snowboarding. I like to cook in during the week when possible and going out on the weekends. Hoping to find a nice room for rent and some cool housemates :)
I am clean and tidy (house proud!), a great cook, I love to bake, drink wine, get into a good tv series and really make a house a home. My move date is pretty flexible. I work as an executive assistant within education. Experienced in sharing, respectful of others space and privacy. Down to earth, genuine and looking for the same in my flat mates. I look forward to meeting you!
Hey Peeps! My name is Rhys and i am looking a for a new place for me and my two lovely cats to call home, I am a super easy going guy and easy to get along with. LOOKING FOR 2 ROOMS We have been living together for a year and a half almost, we met when we moved in our previous house together, we are looking for a place because our current house has been sold (heartbreaking I know), anyway. We are really good friends, looking not only for a room but for a place we can call home. We love a clean house and socializing when in the mood if not, no one will take it personally. Love coming after work to cook dinner, watch tv, talk about our day and get a little philosophical (always fun). Not every weekend party animals kind of girls but once in a while never killed nooobody. Love making friends and meeting new people.
Heya, I'm Annie. Originally from Seattle, I've been living in Sydney for 7 years now. I work in a marketing agency creating content for the hospitality industry. I'm passionate about writing, film, and great food and drinks. I'm clean and respectful of my flatmates. Although I'm out and about many nights, I'm big on my place feeling like home. I'm hoping to join a house of people who are open to sharing a few nights watching Netflix or some food and bevvies every now and then. I'd love to find a place where I can have a little veggie garden and a nice place to sit outside and work, read or have a wine or two. I love dogs, so although I don't have one myself, I'm very open to a house with one (or any pets really).
I am a mature, independant lady. Grew up in Melbourne and have been in Sydney 3 years, having a career change and gone back to study. I like the simple things in life, going out for meals with friends and when possible early nights in with a book or watching tv. I am friendly, easy going and sociable but do like my own space. Ideally would have my own bathroom.
I am a very respectful, clean and quiet flatmate. I mostly keep to myself but also enjoy socialising and getting to know people. I am working full time in Burleigh and need to be closer to work as I do not currently have a car. I live an active healthy lifestyle but do enjoy hanging out and having a drink with friends.
My name is Gauri and I am a professional who works full time Monday to Friday in the CBD. When I come home from work I like to unwind and get some house work done but mostly I like to relax and watch tv in bed. My hobbies include gardening and arts and crafts, i am also a massive animal lover. I'm very tidy and neat and I always clean up after myself. I will be bringing bedroom furniture with me so I will require an unfurnished room. I am a pretty quiet individual and generally keep to myself but i'm very easy going and always up for a chat or a drink :) I don't have a lot of visitors other than my boyfriend and I'm also almost always out with him/friends on weekends and on some weeknights. I am looking for a place to make my home and ideally would like to sign a lease for at least 6 months.
Hey everyone! Currently looking for a room in a house with fun, friendly (preferably girl) housemates. I work full time in Alexandria. Im very positive, outgoing and respectful person. Originally from New Zealand, moved recently from Perth. I am tidy and organised. I enjoy the beach or exploring the city in my free time. I love to cook and have a glass of red at the end of my day. I love getting to know others but also enjoy my space. If you have any questions or are interested please dont hesitate to contact me :)
A little bit about myself, I'm a 28 y/o from Malaysia and will be doing my masters in Law at the University of Sydney. I dont smoke but I dont mind it, I'm a reasonably neat person myself, as long as everyone cleans up after themselves its all good. I do cook(pretty basic stuff) and would use the kitchen fairly regularly, always up for joint cooking/themed meals. I love sports and football particularly, Love all kinds of books and Im a big movie buff. Always wanted to try horse riding and skydiving but never got the chance. I'd like to consider myself a people person, with diverse interests in sports, politics and general knowledge. I'd love a chat over a shared meal/movie/banter session after work/class but am respectful of personal space at the same time. I enjoy meeting and getting to know new people and sharing new experiences. Im as mentioned a huge tv/movie and literary buff, among my likes include the, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars series, Inglorious Basterds, Body of Lies, and basically any other half decent action or thriller movie :) Anything from Forsyth or Lee Child, Matt Reilly, Tom Clancy,J.RR Tolkien,Eragon Series, Gentlemen Bastards Series, Freakonomics,Super Freakonomics,Soccernomics,World is Flat and anything else from Thomas Freidman Im also looking for flatmates to share a property
***Move date TBC around August*** Between 6-12 months stay. Per listed locations please. ALICIA: 33, active (dancing, hiking and rockclimbing) professional. I work on tech projects and usually end up working really long hours. So I like to balance that with taking extended breaks. On a break I spend a lot of time exploring nature. Like most types of music - mainstream and chill out especially. I'm social, but respectful of personal space. I'm tidy, like things to have their place, but not a clean fenatic. I get along with most people of all walks, races, preferences and ages (except close minded people). No strong religious or political views, but do believe in equal opportunity for all. No restrictive dietary preferences that’ll impact household. Not a party fan, much rather a nice dinner with a few friends. LOVE animals, but don’t believe in hoarding them. Aside from the job that provides my income, I’m a self taught companion animal behaviourist (birds, cats, dogs) and have an 8 month old kitten. As a responsible guardian (who is 100% accountable for anything Alfie does) it’s imperative he’s viewed by my housemates as a positive addition to the home, rather than a cat that will be tolerated because his owner pays rent. ALFIE: Very active and cheeky. Doesn't scratch furniture (has own). No food aggression. Toilet trained. No marking behaviours. Context trained. Harness trained. Likes attention from most people. Desensitised with children ages 3+, elderly, kittens, cats, toy dogs, working dogs and companion dogs. Not too fond of horses. Ok with all household sounds including lawn mover. Water friendly (monthly bath as part of parasite prevention). Travel friendly. Rests after lights out until morning. Gives plenty of warnings when unhappy. Inhibits biting and scratching under duress. Can be left alone without anxiety. Will investigate and smell EVERYTHING when visiting a new area. Loves the sound of a flushing toilet. Will likely smell your dirty clothes as he watches you shower (I tried to train that out but no luck as yet, sorry). Enjoys being up high (climbing bench tops/trees), loves going for free-leash beach walks and playing with similar sized puppies. Don't take my word for Alfie - happy to bring him to an inspection or send a video profile so you can see his personality yourself. I promise, theres not many like him in Sydney. Hoping to find a space to share with mature people who are direct, tidy, respectful, friendly (loves to share a laugh), open minded and honest. Alicia and Alfie
Heeey, My name is Jimmy, 30 years old from Sweden. I'm working in the reception at a gym, studying Sport and Exercise Science part time. My girlfriend's name is Jackie, she is 27 year old and from the US, and is working as a massage therapist. We both play ice hockey with Sydney Bears, other than that we enjoy long walks on the beach and a beer every now and then. Both of us have lived in share houses and with flat mates for several years, so we are used to living with others and know how to be respectful of everyone's space.
I work in the Design industry and put in some crazy hours during the week. When work is a little less hectic you can find me at the gym or relaxing at home pretending to play my guitar. I'm really easy going, happy for you to have a slice of my bread and butter but totally understand if you like to keep food to yourself. I come with a bed, a frying pan and a plant. Just looking for someone who's considerate, clean, open minded and fun. It's cool to care.
Hello! My name is Lyla, I'm studying Social Work at UNSW. My rental lease at my current place is about to run up and we're not renewing it. I'd say I'm laid back, I'd consider myself open minded and easy to get along with. I'm tidy and respect where I'm living and I'm always keen to do my bit around the house. I can respect personal space but also love to get together. I paint a bit and am very into my music and try to get out and see as much as possible of Sydney's live music scene, would love to live with people who are as equally passionate about it. I bartend most nights and tend to go away most weekends so I would love a social and relaxed home! I moved to Australia 6 years ago from Ireland and before that I was in South Africa and if you have an outdoor area thats a major plus, I'm also keen to team up, so if you think we might be like minded people I'd love to grab a coffee with potential housemates and see if we get along! Thanks!!

I'm a Canadian moving to Sydney for a job in media and am excited to get to know the city and meet some new people. I am social and easy to get on with and love me some witty banter. I am tidy and reliable and happy to do my own thing but also socialize and hang out. I will have regular office work hours and will be early to bed during the week but looking to explore the neighbourhood on weekends. I love cooking and will happily make extra food to share with flatmates. I'm into TV and film and am very happy to chill and watch movies at home and will probably also be checking out what's on at the local cinema. I am looking for a place starting in July. I'm flexible in terms of length of rental term. Just don't know the city too well yet and am looking for a clean friendly place. Thanks and chat soon! N
I'm Cuban but living in Estonia since 2016 and now going to Sydney for an Internship. I'm a quiet person and need my own time sometimes. I will be working during the day, but I would like to share the place with people who enjoy talking or sharing some drinks during the evenings. I love watching movies and series and also going out with friends on weekends.

I am clean, tidy, enjoy getting out for a drink or two. Love sports and keeping fit. I love animals (unfortuantely im going to be leaving behind my 3yo choc lab in Adelaide). Aiming to move in mid July

Looking for a private room within 30-40 minutes of the city. I'll be working full time in the city. I envisage finding some fun housemates that are easy to get along with whether in an established share house or not. I'm clean and happy with pitch in with the household upkeep. I have past successful flatmates history. My only request is the house has a dishwasher, be it mechanical or human I wont discriminate.
