Hi! I’m an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer starting a new role at Melbourne airport in early September. I’m from Newcastle and will head home on my days off a lot of the time. Outside of work I like, mountain biking, surfing, sports, and just lots of general activities to keep myself busy. Keen cook, so always happy to cook for anyone around, and courteous to my fellow housemates. Very easy going and social. I do have a girl friend, who from time to time will come down to Melbourne, but I will more than likely head home on my days off. Keen to find, an awesome group to move in with Happy to answer any questions you might have to throw at me.
Hi! I'm a pretty easy going person, preferring a quiet life of work and rest. I work 6 days a week as a swimming teacher/ CRT teacher, so I am rarely home. When I am, I love reading, Netflix and cooking. I tend to keep to myself but enjoy socialising when others are home. I am respectful of others, always pay my bills on time/ early and am looking for somewhere to live that is close to public transport and other amenities. I get along with most people but prefer those who are clean and tidy like myself 😊 I am also accepting of all pets! I have some furniture and kitchenware that I can contribute to a new home, include a nice large couch bought brand new. However, I can put these in to storage. If you have storage for it though, that would be amazing!
Looking for either a place to share for 6 months or so, with one other person. I have my own bedroom furnishings :) Alternatively also looking for a 1 bedroom flat to rent for 12 months plus for myself, I have excellent references from more than 4 top real estate agents. Pretty easy going and friendly though I keep to myself and I don’t usually hang out in the lounge room area if I’m in a house safe. The only things I need is the kitchen for cooking and also unlimited wifi for my studies and a small outside place to have a smoke and a wine after work like a balcony or court yard. I don’t smoke inside I must stress this, please don’t message me telling me not to smoke inside as I’ve already specified so :) and I keep butts contained. Would probably suit someone that is also a smoker or is fine with me going outside to do so. I don’t wish to live with anyone that has cats or dogs due to previous experiences of the place smelling really bad from them. This isn’t negotiable sorry. I clean up after myself and out of habit I do the dishes every night after work though I don’t like too many rules imposed either and I’m not OCD with cleaning if a cup or fish is in the sink haha I don’t suit types that are controlling and OCD just another person that is easy going and is clean and drama free! About me - I'm 34 years old, Nurse I work at a few hospitals and always have more than enough work and shifts and also studying a degree online/distance education in Social Work for personal development and interest. I am a casual smoker but i smoke outside, also LGBTQ friendly as well. I usually just keep to myself, I’m always at the gym, dancing or work or home in my room. I'm a really peaceful person, I get along best with others that are peaceful, easy going and spiritual types. If this sounds like something you’d like to talk more over please message me. Many thanks :)
Hi, Me and my Husband both from Sri Lanka and both Engineers by profession are looking for a place in Melbourne as i Will be starting my PhD at RMIT from September. Looking for a Studio or One bedroom apartment for around $250-$300
I'm pretty chill, low maintenance and easy going. Currently still living at home in Hobart, Tasmania. I like to play video games, do art, go out into the town and just hang out with friends. Just looking for somewhere to help me start out with living in a big city. I'll be looking for part time employment to help out (I currently live off of the Disability Support Pension), and I have a small pet bird named Spirit (nickname Baby) who is fairly quiet and not messy.
Easy going, respectful, quiet. I am studying part-time about business management. I am a qualified Naturopath and will be creating a business in this field. I like bushwalking and rollerblading. Ideally would be a room in a fairly quiet house with 1 or 2 others.
I'm looking for a place to live near Essendon Airport. I have been offered a job there that would have me working one week on, and one week off. On my week off I would be returning to my home in the county, so about half the time it will be like not sharing, and every day in Melbourne will be working (so not around the house). I'm an older male with a grown up family and the job I have been offered is a very good one, but I don't want to totally relocate. This job involves sometimes starting at 6 am, and other days starting at 10 am, so my so my bathroom times are around either 5.30 or 9.30 am. That should suit others starting work anytime between 7 to 9 am. I'm very easy going and have shared houses many times, so know how to behave. I like company, a glass of wine with a meal, and I can cook ok (happy to cook with and for others). I have travelled a fair bit and enjoy conversation. I have a broad range of interests, am still learning music, and can fix things around the house. I'd be happy to establish a vegetable garden if there is room, and have all the tools for that. All I'd want is a quiet room with (preferably) my own bathroom. Thanks for reading.
Work full time, happy to socialise but also don’t mind keeping to myself, I’m clean and courteous of others, lived in share houses for the last 6 years. On weekends I don’t mind having a beer or 10, enjoy going to gigs and watching the footy.
Hi all... My name is Dawn. I'm 27 years old and I work for DJCS. I am also currently studying a Diploma in Project Management online. I like to play sport and get out and about every now and then. I have previously lived in a share house before I moved to Canberra in 2016. I'm now back in Melbourne for the foreseeable future and would like to get back into a sharehouse whilst I set myself up to buy my own home. I have my boyfriend visit and stay over sometimes, so I'd need you to be ok with that. I am also potentially getting a puppy soon (just organising to meet the puppy), so I may need a place that allows this too. I'm looking for a room with my own bathroom preferably. I don't go out/drink much as I'm usually busy with work and family commitments, but I still might go out on the odd occasion. Any questions, feel free to ask :)
I'm a 22 year old from England, recently graduated from university with a maths degree. I'll be moving to Melbourne on a working holiday visa, likely looking to stay in Melbourne for up to 6 months. I'll be looking for full time work, but I also want to meet as many people as possible while I'm over there so sociable flatmates would be a plus! Interested in fitness, any sports, nights out or even just hanging out with people and relaxing (though I'll try pretty much anything). Love travelling and learning about different places too! I'm clean, relaxed and (hopefully) easy to get along with. Can be social but also respectful of privacy and alone time. Happy to meet up with people before deciding on whether to live somewhere, since getting along with flatmates is more important for me than location/flat.
