Tidy, good and honest person looking to find a house share with like minded people. My main passions in life are the Blues, rum and animals. By day in my spare time i like to get involved in community projects, activism and helping people, by night I like to drink rum and listen to punk! In terms of being a housemate, i'm tidy, considerate of peoples space and noise levels, and I can pay the first months rent and bond upfront. I'm looking for a chilled houseshare, with mature friendly people. Hit me up if you wanna go for a coffee or a beer to see if we'd be the right fit. kindest regards Charlotte XOXO
I will be studying at RMIT semester 2 on exchange from Clarkson University in New York, USA. I am looking forward to living in Melbourne and learning about Australian culture. Additionally, am excited to do a lot of outdoors adventuring and traveling during my time in Australia. I currently live in a house with 20 other students, so I have experience sharing spaces with other people, and would make a great roommate/housemate!
I've moved back from living the last few years in London. I would like to meet housemates who want a home, not just a place to live. I work full time as an Occupational Therapist. In my spare time I catch up with friends, volunteer and have enjoyed re- discovering Melbourne city.
I am 25 years old currently working in IT/Applications for a hospitality company and studying my Masters of Marketing. I am pretty laid back, reasonably tidy and organised. Love to head out for a beer at the pub or go out for a nice meal. Also don't mind staying in and cooking for mates. I love my sport and try to keep active.
Zac:: Freelance graphic designer who likes to paint, grow veggies, hike, binge watch whatever shows I'm currently addicted to. Bit of an introvert / extrovert hybrid, depending on the mood I'm either up for adventures and spontaneous shenanigry, or down for solo chill time with music / movies. Ra:: Black kitty who likes to chase toys & sneak attack feet. Bit of a weirdo who thinks he's a dog, wags his tail like one (not kidding), doesn't meow but makes a chirping sound at meal times kinda like a velociraptor...
Hi.. I am Elen. I originally come from Indonesia. I am on my final year studying master at Swinburne. I am a friendly and easy going female and love to travel. I am looking for a single room, has to be has a living room and near public transport. Prefer to share the house with females. I am a pretty tidy person. I like to socialise but sometimes i like my own time. I have been living in a share house for about four years. I usually pay the rent on time, wouldn't mind to share meals or have drinks on the weekend too or go to bars on the weekend if I have time.. I am looking to share the house with people that I can call friends and whom I can get along with.
Hello My name is Angie (32 y.o). I am a biologist and environmental specialist. I have lived in Melb for about 1 year now, studying English and working part time. I'm studying a Diploma at Melbourne Polytechnic (Epping campus). I'm very friendly and social. Like many of us, studying during the day and working at night. But I enjoy the weekends by attending festivals, concerts, beaches, parks, going out for drinks or just staying at home taking a good rest and watching movies. Also, I'm starting to practice yoga and pilates in my spare time and sometimes I join MeetUp groups to have a hike and camping to explore many parks in Victoria. I love to share a dinner, chat and movies from time to time. I'm a really chilled out, easy going, decent, sensible, reasonable and respectful person. I like to keep my house clean and tidy, Non-smoker, and I pay bills and rent on time. I'm looking for a balance between friendship / socialising and mutual respect for space and privacy. I also look for a place where I can feel at home, not just having a room. I'm willing to pay up to $160 per week. Please feel free to message me if you have anything available Cheers!
Beth: Very relaxed, very nerdy, bad at cooking, good at baking, bad at general social interaction. That's the general gist of me I suppose! I'm a creative person, predominantly skilled in film making but can do a whole range of things. I'm easygoing, passive and quiet. Jarrod: super chill, mega nerd, good at cooking and baking, I think I can make friends with almost anyone. dreams of one day being a world renowned musician, pretty good bartender, so good for parties and such. and yeah. We have two cats as well, Bruce and Pumpkin. Bruce is well... not very nice. He likes to bite. Probably best to not try and make friends with him. He is very large (half Maine Coon) and very floppy (Half Ragdoll). Pumpkin on the other hand, she looves pats and friends and is the most adorable little thing. She is smaller than your average cat, she loves to just hang out. We are currently living in an apartment but have recently had a big change to our circumstances so need somewhere cheaper to live. Our lease runs out June 15th so we're looking to move in the week before that when we'll be able to afford to pay rent and bond for another place. We have lots of furniture, most of which we are happy to sell if there's no room but a couple pieces we'd like to keep if possible. Generally we're just a chill couple that likes to hang out with people sometimes and are very creative... Feel free to contact me and ask any questions or whatever. Cheers!
Hey there! My name is Shaek (pronounced shake) and I am a 20 year old currently residing in Sydney however moving to Melbourne for approx 1 year for work and to also experience life away from the bubble of my current city. Im not the best at selling myself, but here it goes. Being the eldest of 5 children, I have a strong understanding of personal space as well as overall cleanliness and am very responsible and dependable. Majority of the time I like to keep to myself but am always up for a laugh and love listening to people talk. I am known to be an extremely relaxed and laid back person so I can assure you that there will be no conflict over mundane issues. I am an avid reader and often tend to lock myself in the room, so some days you may not even hear a peep. Fishing is another hobby I seriously enjoy as well as eating at places with great reviews, socialising with friends, having a drink or 10, watching movies and other things. Although I am only 20, I believe I am able to get on with people of all ages and back grounds as I like to think I am quite open minded and have been told by many that I have great mannerisms and professionalism. Thanks for reading and let me know if you'd be interested in me being a new member of your home.
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
Hola, so this is when I'm supposed to sell myself yeah ...well let's see. The boring but necessary stuff: I've lived in many share houses so I understand the importance of cleaning after yourself, respecting each other and paying rent on time. I'm currently working part time at Zara the retail store. Me,myself and I: I'm originally from Finland (speaks swedish only tho) and I've been down under for about a year and a half. I'm a laid back person who doesn't have a problem getting along with people as long as they are open minded and respecting. I love art in all it's forms, if it's fashion, painting or music..doesn't matter. And it's also what I love spending my time on, going treasure hunting in op shops, listening to live music (I'm into basically all genres) or paint. Also working out, random adventures, dancing, reading, nature, movies, strange conversations..these are a few of my favorite things (yes, Sound of Music reference for yah). I'm not sure what I should write more about so I'm gonna stop it here. Just a little intro of who I am. If you feel like I could fit into your household, hit me up!
Hospitality professional, moving to Melbourne from Sydney for a change of pace. Will be working full time, and am a very respectful housemate. Clean, easy going and mostly organised. I am vegetarian and like cooking, not worried if you eat meat. I play music and would like to live with other creative people. Have a few friends that are also looking for a place, would much rather go into a new lease, but would also consider a existing flat share.
Hey! I currently work shift work full-time as a nurse and am looking for a private room somewhere close to Parkville. Hoping for a 6 month - 1 year lease but am open to whatever is on offer. I'm easy going and sociable but also enjoy my own downtime. I'm tidy and will always clean up after myself! Hope to hear from you soon!
Social, warm and conscientious, Michael and Emma seek a sharehouse to call home. Both Brisvegas heat escapees, they desire the kind of household where a meal can be shared, a fire built and the occasional party enjoyed when the right moment strikes. Moving away from regular trashbaggery, they are seeking balance in their lives and home. Not tee-totallers by any stretch, but looking for a sanctuary throughout the week with a bit of private space as well as the ability to enjoy common areas. Michael is a government employee and pol science grad who loves the outdoors, creating new recipes, is a voracious reader and is pretty happy to play the odd game of chess. Emma is a career-transitioning activist and current hospo kid who writes terrible poetry, mumbles in her sleep and makes puns worse than her poetry. She also makes a pretty mean Bloody Mary. They both REALLY like cheese – and will even gladly share it with you. Expect Black Books, Mighty Boosh and Simpson's quotes on the regular from both of them. You have been warned. House trained, respectful and communicative, we reckon you'll kinda like 'em :)
Hi, I’m Mathew, I'm 35 and study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT. In my spare time I like to partake in movies, the odd tv show, gaming, photography, exploring Melbourne, the beach, live gigs, tending to the garden, eating out, catching up with mates and… sleep. I'm also beginning to explore the world of health & fitness. With all that said, I tend to be fairly quiet when I’m at home. I am financially secure, considerate, I clean up after myself and respect the need for privacy and personal space. Non smoker, no drugs, don’t drink - I'm trying to be Mr Healthy these days! Any other questions, please ask.
Hi! My name is Megah and I'll be moving to Melbourne for work in mid May (currently residing in Sydney). I'm looking for a place with female housemates and a parking space, somewhere within 30 minutes from CBD. I'm easy going and friendly but also respectful of others' personal spaces. I work full time and will probably spend most of my weekends exploring Melbourne.
I'm a single non-smoking health professional. I've just moved back home to Melbourne after living in Perth for the last six years. I'm looking for a furnished or unfurnished room in the Fitzroy/Carlton/East Melbourne area, with capacity for parking (street is fine). I’m about to start a new full time Monday to Friday job at St Vincent's Hospital. My job involves working with people, so I prefer a relaxed and peaceful space to come home to during the week. I'm also an aspiring minimalist, so prefer clean, uncluttered and tranquil surrounds. I am independent and like my own space (and already have friends in Melbourne), but I would ideally like to have some sort of relationship with housemates beyond just sharing space and amenities. I'm hoping to live with 1-2 other mature people with a similar mentality, on a long term basis. My version of socialising with friends tends to be long chats with cups of tea, and dinners/board games - I'm not a loud party person. I'm house-trained, socially conscious and respectful of others and their space/possessions, clean but not obsessively so. I'm an omnivore but am realising over time that I don't really eat meat that often anyway, and cook it even less often. I always pay rent/bills on time, am not tight with money, and enjoy sharing the occasional meal/drink with housemates, in or out. If there's a cat already in residence, that's a bonus (not a dog person though). My track record for keeping plants alive isn’t great. My hobbies/interests include barbershop/a cappella singing (I generally practice out of the house or when home alone), personal development (I’ve been engaging in Jungian analysis for the past few years), musical theatre, foreign films, good food and wine, linguistics and languages. I haven’t owned a TV for quite some time, and don’t really miss it day to day, but do occasionally binge watch a series on my laptop. I’m interested in – but not very knowledgeable about – art, architecture, and music arrangement.
Hi! I'm 22 and originally from Scotland. I have been living in Melbourne for almost 2 years now on a sponsored working visa. I work full time in an architecture practice in North Fitzroy and keep myself pretty busy in the evenings and weekends. I enjoy outdoor activities, running and hiking. I am a clean, tidy and respectful flatmate, having lived in share houses the past 5+ years. Please feel free to get in touch!
I have moved from Adelaide in Jan this year. I am working full time. Pretty flexible on location. I'm a very social person, I enjoy cooking, I am very tidy and respectful of other housemates. Looking for somewhere comfortable and call home.
