I'm Hayley and I grew up in hawthorn and went to school at mlc. I've been in the north the last 5 years and am now in the west. I'm looking for a place inner west. I have worked for 11 years full time as a production assistant for a book and film production company but decided to follow my true passion, fashion. I have been doing modelling on and off for the past two years as well as studying it online. I'm also actively looking for work and receive centrelink. I am clean and tidy, reliable, respectful, friendly, easy going and trust worthy.
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
-Found a place!- Hi, we just moved down from Brisbane about a month ago so keen to meet new people and make friends! :D We're hoping to find a place that is friendly and welcoming but also allow us to have our own space. We quite often like to share laughs, movies, and meals with our housemates, but don't want a party house (outside of BBQ's and birthdays etc). We're respectful of other people's space but are looking for flat-mates rather than flat-humans. Homes are better than houses. I'm Karen (25) a full-time working professional as a risk engineering consultant for a culture change firm, likes to laugh, likes to eat, but also likes to chill in my room. Matt (31) studies environmental science and outdoor rec at Victoria University full-time, is very warm and happy, likes to get out and about, and likes to eat more. We love pets (but don't have any) and plants (we have 2) so if you have some that's awesome, but would prefer a place without kids (visits are definitely cool though). We're not in a rush to move into anywhere, so we will take our time to pick a great spot but if you think you're awesome and would love to hear more about us, just let me know!
Hi there! My name is Natalie, I am 23 years old. I am a food technology high school teacher, I work full time and will be out of the house from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Mon-Fri (there will always be some goodies that I bring home!). On weekends I usually go out or head to the footy, sometimes even chill at home and watch some Netflix if the week has been hectic (which is most weeks are :P)! I am pretty easy going and easy to live with. Happy to do my own thing or chill together with a glass of wine. I am a bit nerdy and I try to lead a healthy lifestyle with the occasional splurge every once in a while. Ideally, I would like a long-term roommate for roughly a year or more, so if this all suits you then let me know and we can arrange a catch up to meet and if all goes well find a place as soon as possible!
I'm from Brissy and have just been offered a new role in Melbourne and will be looking to move into a room for 4 months until my partner joins me down south. I work fulltime in aviation and will be working in Tullamarine, so looking to base myself in easy distance to the airport. I have a social nature, but also like to have my own down time and respect everybody's space. Love wine, cheese and coffee so will happily fill the kitchen with these goodies at any chance. I will be flying to Brisbane most weekends to be with my partner, and every few weekends he will be staying with me for two nights so we get to see each other, happy to discuss this with potential roomies.
I'm a 19 year old Administration Assistant, and I am currently studying my Bachelor of Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine. I work 3 days a week 8-4 and then study online at home. I love cooking and sharing my food with others (hence the nutrition degree) and I also spend a fair bit of time at the gym. My beautiful puppies will stay at my home (parents) when I leave so if you have a pet that is a definite bonus. I'm definitely at the cross section of lone wolf and social butterfly, so I love having alone time in my room but am also down to share a meal or what movie marathons! I'm looking to move out any time before September, but end of April is probably best for me so I can put aside my bond and months rent etc. Im also flexible with length of stay, preferably 6 months or more though :)
Hi I'm Liam, working full time as an engineer in Melbourne's CBD. I'm generally independent, but keen to have a social household with the odd shared dinner or quiet drinks after work. I don't have any pets myself but would love getting to know yours if you have any! I think I'm pretty easy going and I appreciate honest conversations should they need to come up. I love playing social sport on weeknights and chilling out with Netflix, tea and a crossword when winding down for a work night. I will be away until mid June travelling, and looking to organise moving into a new home sometime in July with some flexibility on dates.
I'm starting a new job in Melbourne at the beginning of July, would like to move in a week or two in advance. (Coming from Sydney) Clean, Friendly, Will pay rent on time, have a car so would prefer parking to be available, on street is okay though.
I'm a Japanese guy who want to study English and work in Melbourne with working holiday visa. I graduated an art college and I did oil painting, print, and photography. drawing, painting pictures and taking photography are still my life work. Now I work as an Art teacher in a public high school here in Japan. I'm going to quit soon. It would be great if I could find someone can share fun time like watching movies, going outside and so on after school or job. I generally like listening to people. I like chilling out inside, also I like going outside and dancing and singing. This is going to be my first time to live in a different country and cultures. So, all I can say is I can tidy myself and I like clean environment.
I work quite alot so I spend my down time either asleep or outside enjoying my day off. I'm quiet, clean and keep to myself. Also down to be social on the occasion of there being an event or gathering. Hoping to go over to Canada for Christmas so I’m only looking for around 5-6 month stay. 😊😊
Hi I am 31 years old from Brazil(if it matters), on my second working holiday visa. I'm an electronic engineer who is now seeking work in the role, but while it doesn't happen, I will keep living from backpacker jobs(delivery at the moment). I am vegetarian(can do vegan at home, if necessary), Lefty, handy person who likes music(can play guitar and drums) and computers. Also sociable and easy going. I am house trained and enjoy a clean environment. I don't really bother about other people mess and dirty dishes, it just can't be too much, and it is fine : ) Ideally, I am looking for something below 500 PCM, but given that those places are rare, I can go up to 600 PCM plus bills(around 140 pw) depending on the location and the room itself.
I moved from Daylesford to a temporary apartment, and I'm looking for a place to stay long-term. I'm a hardworking student and I'm friendly and respectful. I like making art and music, exercise, going to the pub, reading and studying.
Myself and my pooch Tiger are looking for a new place to call home. I'm working in hospo at the moment and plan on finding a full time job depending where I move. My dog Tiger is my 8 year old baby. He's a small pomeranian x, he's house-trained and not yappy. Chill as, I've never had a problem in a share house with him. Rent, bills will always be on time. I'm clean, respectful of privacy and don't like drama. I just want a chill pad with like minded people with a positive vibe. I don't mind a few bevs here and there, I love succulents and gardening... Anything you want to know ask away. Cheers
I'm from Malaysia, has been living in Melbourne for 10 years now. I was away for a year travel to Asia and Europe and now I'm back to Melbourne for living. I like swimming, yoga, hang out with friends, eating, baking, hiking and share meal one or two with flatmates. I respect their own space and have downtime at their own. I like party out and not to bring home, not party house at home. If you like to meet me, and be your housemate and have fun. Let's connect!!
I am an easy going guy, who is well organised and clean. I travel daily to my work, however since its becoming more challenging to justify the four hours I spend each day I'm now looking for a place that is close to work. I love going out on weekends with my camera.
I can cook, I’m clean, I don’t mind helping around the house, I’m not a crazy party animal that will be strolling in at all hours of the morning or having people over all the time. I’m friendly and easy going, very polite and open minded :)
I am Rohit from India currently working in reservoir as a mechanical engineer. I am a really friendly person who like to mingle with people. I try to make my room and the house clean always. I have no problem with any kind of flatmates as I am ready to adjust. The most important reason for trying to get a room is that I currently reside in Geelong and travel on a daily basis which has made things really difficult for me.
Hello, Having just recently uprooted from Sydney to Melbourne, I am seeking a long-term roof over my head. By my own estimation, I'd say I'm quite well domesticated, experienced in share situations, easy going and cleanly organised. Ideally, I am looking for somewhere that provides the convenience of being relatively close to work (Airport), affords a peaceful and friendly environment and within walking distance of transport and fresh produce. My passions are philosophy, health, science and technology. I consume a Pescatarian diet, however only occasionally indulge in fish. Most of the time I just enjoy researching, pondering and exercising my curiosity freely.
Hi there, my name is Patrick and I am from Germany and I have been living in Australia-Melbourne for the last 7.5 years. I am a full time Cabin Crew for an Airline so I'd like to be close to the Airport as possible and like the areas around the airport to live in. I am currently reside in Gladstone Park. However at this stage I am just looking around to see whats available, I don't have a rush just yet to move or a specific moving date, however at this stage I would say beginning of July for now until further notice. I am easy to live with, I am very clean and tidy (I clean everyday, I hate mess and dirt haha). being a Flight attendant is my main job and as a Casual Employee in a hospitality job. My working hours always rotate from very early mornings till late shifts. I am also easy to get along with, friendly, nice, funny and respectful person. I like to go out for a drink with friends or clubbing sometimes. But I also like to stay and cook, exercise and stay fit and healthy. I am looking for a flatmate who can be respectful of each others working hours, LGBT friendly, can have a laugh or two sometime together or become friends in the future, who knows. I am aware this is not a dating site haha but it's also important for me what kind of person I like to live with. Any further questions you may have, please don't hesitate to contact me. :) Cheers, Patrick
