Hey! :) I'm Steph, I'm 29, I work full time and study part time, I'm pretty neat and like a clean and tidy house :) Looking to move anytime over the next few months, no rush but happy to do it asap if i was to find the right roomy :) I'm looking to live either the Northside (Nundah, Aspley, Kelvin Grove, Wavell Heights, Bridgeman Downs etc - somewhere near The Royal Bris hospital as thats where i work) or even on the Southside (Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights, Brookwater, Collingwood Park etc - as thats where i am atm). Ok... so I know a lot of people don't wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! :) My boy is 9 years old, so if you like playing xbox you guys will be best buds lol He's a good kid, looks after things, helps around the house, is pretty easy going and quiet to live with :) We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol :) so cute! So, I'm looking for another person to get a house together. Obviously we will have to apply for houses so you'd clearly need to be approved on that as well to live there :) You'll need to be reliable and pay rent on time, respectful of privacy, the property and of other peoples things, work and have a stable income, funny, preferably single and around similar age. I'd really prefer a house rather than a unit with undercover parking (lock up garage) as I drive a BMW :) I guess starting off with a 6 month lease would be ideal, then it can always be renewed if we want :) The house would need to have at least 3 bedrooms coz I need my own space too and dont want to crammed into the same room with my son lol so I'd have one, he'd have one and you'd have the other one/two etc :) I'd also be keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) I looooove cooking and literally make the best caramel tarts you'll ever eat (i have references for this lol), im pretty easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So you'd definitely have to be funny, easy going, down to earth and be able to take a joke lol Anyhoo, hope to hear from you soon to organise a day to meet up and see if we connect :)
Hi folks I'm Sam. I'm an easygoing, friendly guy looking for a housemate/teamup in the northern burns. I have a dog so I'd like to find a place which is pet friendly (he's a lab x golden retriever with a soft spot for peanut butter and anyone willing to give him a pat). Ideally I'd like to find a 2/3 bed property with a garden so if this sounds like your kind of thing, let me know. I'm a recently single gay guy with a range of interests; I like to run, cook, surf, cycle, and get amongst the occasional Netflix binge. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of other people's space - I like to chat but I also enjoy my own free time. Check out my socials if you want to know more or otherwise flick me a message!
Hello, My name is Chloé, Im 28 and looking for a place to call home with friendly likeminded people. I do have some furniture/household goods that id like to bring with me. I am reliable and pay bills on time and im friendly, outgoing and respectful. I am respectful of space as well as enjoy company where our schedules colide. I work full time in Murrarie so am fairly busy during the working week. I hope to chat soon :)
I'm a very calm and respectful person. I'm very clean (think Monica from Friends) and tidy. I'm not a party person and I'm looking for a quiet house as I love sleep and am usually in bed at a reasonable hour due to a hectic job. I do enjoy a good chat and am very social and love a few drinks on the weekend. I'd prefer to not live in a place that has more than 2 other people there and not looking at any form of student accommodation. I'm very geeky, I'm obsessed with Doctor Who, Anime and just Sci Fi in general!! And I love to read! I have a little black cat called Boo, she doesn't scratch furniture, she uses a litterbox only and she has a lovable nature when she gets used to you and can also get along with dogs.
I am a full time criminology student from brisbane. I work part time at a mexican restaurant. I like to play guitar in my spare time :)
I am a registered nurse. I work full time and also completing a part-time post graduate study at UQ. I am a very quiet person and enjoy keeping to myself a lot. I will take some time to "come out of my shell" and start socializing with housemates. I enjoy having my own space. I smile a lot when I'm not buggered after working 5-night shifts in a row. Sleep is vital to my continued existence so I would love a quiet place. Ideally wanting to team-up with a like minded professional to rent a 2bed- 2bath place around Northgate or The Gap. Alternatively, I'm open to a room in an existing share house with no more than 2 other housemates. C'mon guys pick me! I'm so much fun *sarcasm*
I run my own business as a leadership consultant and facilitator. This means I do some administrative work at home and love an inspiring and quiet place to live. I also travel a lot to deliver my programs so am frequently away from home for short travel stints. I'm passionate about food and great conversation so I like to churn out a lot of delicious healthy food from the kitchen and I'm pretty social. Currently I am open to both living on my own in a self-contained setup or to a healthy, functioning share house. At 39 I've lived in many a share house and believe in keeping communal areas tidy for the enjoyment of all. For fun I like taking trips into nature, hiking, camping, rock climbing, hosting dinner parties and seeing great live music.
It's been a year since I moved to Brisbane to do a full time day job at a software company in Albion. I'm easy to get along with, polite, respectful and independent. Love to cook (Asian), share meals and household chores. Happy to chat and socialize but also needs alone time to recharge. Looking preferably closer to the train station and a non-smoking household. No pets but love dogs. Relaxed, chilled, but not scruffy. Working til 5pm on weekdays, exploring Brisbane on weekends whenever I get the chance.
We need a flat with a secure garage. Hobbies: 4x4, MX, boxing and mountain biking. We are clean, tidy and sociable (we just moved here this year so if you're into bikes, 4x4 or the occasional beersie that's a bonus :) !) We both have full time careers. Mitch is 25 (Engineer) and I am 27 (teacher). We are kiwi as, so pretty chill and friendly but also tidy and considerate of others. We are happy in our current place but need a secure garage so we can get back into our hobbies :) Feel free to get in touch, Kind regards, Renee
I'm a trade-qualified horticulturalist working in a locally-owned nursery. I'm a lover of pop-culture and the outdoors, and I'm always happy to sit and have a few quiet ones, or leave you to your privacy I have a trained, extremely friendly Kelpie x German Shepherd who needs a decent sized yard with a fence
I really enjoy this great life and all the special people you get to meet. I also enjoy cycling, jogging, bushwalking and kayaking. Live music gigs are a bonus. I have enjoyed a few Meet Ups. I am self employed and in partnership with three gold mining consultants. New living environments can be very enjoyable. I am currently renting in Brisbane and am seeking a more nature based setting.
I'm a recently single, easygoing, non drinking smoker. I was in a long term relationship with two children. Unfortunately, at this stage, I do not see them often, so visiting children is not a regular occurrence, however, I am working to change this. I am officially "unemployed" ATM after 7 years FT government work. I am a musician, producer and DJ and am currently working on several avenues of work accociated with my skill set and equipment. I can, however, be as quiet (or as loud;) as required, and my musical tastes are varied and diverse. I'm in a transitional period of my journey and am looking for like minded people to share my creative and living space.
Clean, considerate, kind, happy, can cook a little, very respectful of other peoples belongings. I am a flight attendant so I am often away for a few nights per week. I'm often away on the weekends too. I like to swim, socialise, go to music gigs. But if you have any questions, just ask :)
I am a 43 year single dad. My little girl is 3 years old and I do have her anything up to 50% of the time. It is a share custody agreement that we decide as we go, depending on the needs of both her and her mum on the week ahead. My daughter is very important to me, so it is important for me to find a room suitable for the two of us to live in. We do cosleep so an extra bed in the room would not be necessary. I do have most of my own furniture, but will to put some in storage if the need arises. I have just recently graduated from a Diploma of Human Resources Management, so am currently looking for work in this field to kick start my new career. In saying that I am determined to find work in the near future, so on the days I dont have my daughter, Im usually busy trying to find suitable employment. I am very responsible with rent, and pay on the day it is due fortnightly as a first priority. I have lived in the same Stafford Residence for three years since my daughters mother and I separated, and quite happy to produce references to show there will never be an issue with my rent, am clean and tidy, respectful, and an allround awesome housemate. Before I livedin my current Residence, I lived in Everton Park, where my daughter is currently residing. In saying that am quite happy to take my time in moving to find the right house and right fit for my daughter, as it is important to me to find something long term as want to be able to provide stability for my little girl. I am a man of word however, and definatly want to do the right thing by my current landlord, so from the date an agreement is made with us, I would have to give him two weeks notice. It is important to me to stay relatively close to the area of Everton Park/Stafford as I dont have transport, and need to be close to my daughter in case of any emergencies that may arise if needed. My life very much does revolve around my munchkin. I have not worked an exact dollar amount I can afford in rent at the moment but hoping for something along the price range of up to $160 per week, although this amount is mentioned it is just a rough estimate until i can work out the figures with an exact dollar amount, as budgeting is also very important to me in my situation so willing to go higher but prefer to go smaller. I am very honest person and tells it is how it is, so I am saying if there is a bond, an arrangement would have to be made to pay it off with my rent upon my tenancy starting, as I honestly do not have that sort of money upfront. Im not sure how all this works so if your interested please get back to me asap with a number or contact details, and be only to happy to contact you as soon as possible. Kind Regards Steven
Very active person pretty laid back. I'm Very tidy and maintain my area I work 2 jobs. I'm involved heavily in Paralympic Soccer and helping other young kids with disabilities coaching them as well. I love to hang out grab a drink and chill out most weekends or chill out for a night in! But also very mindful of when you need your privacy and such.
Hi My names Jason. I'm a 34yr old professional working in Brisbane's CBD. I'm looking for a place to call home in Brisbane during my work week. I'm based in Noosa Heads and work in Brisbane on a 5-4 rotating day and night roster. This means I would only be in Brisbane for 5 out of every 10days approx. My shifts are from 630 til 730 AM/PM. I'm generally training or upcoming adventure races or MTB events across Australia so don't spend a great deal of time indoors. Although am more than happy to kick back on days off with an awesome Red Wine and chat, listen to tunes or chill out to a movie. Happy to meet and talk more if you think I'd be suitable for a spot in your place. Cheers Jas
Hi potential housemate! Im Kelly. I work full-time in human resources and whs. I have a bubbly personality and am very friendly but also enjoy time to myself to watch Netflix or listen to music. My other hobbies include dancing, socialising with friends and going to the gym. I am very clean, considerate and reliable. I am looking for a good size room with own bathroom in an established apartment/townhouse or to team up for a 2-3 bedroom apartment or townhouse. Off street parking is a must!
