I'm 28, looking for a place that is close to Uni and work (St Lucia, Ashgrove and Milton), I have lived on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane before and am excited to be moving back to the Sunshine State. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with friends and baking. I anticipate my Uni and work will be very demanding so above all I am looking for a place to relax and call home for possibly 3 years.
Hello! My name is Maithilee, I am from Pune, India. I am a product designer and am coming to Brisbane to study a Master of Business at UQ. I enjoy exercising, dancing and eating healthy (well most times). My boyfriend, Abishek, is a lawyer and is coming to pursue his Master of Laws at UQ. He loves to read and can talk about any topic under the sun! We will be arriving in Brisbane on 1st of February. We are an easy going couple who love to travel and try new things. We are organized and clean up after ourselves. We enjoy good brews and wine! We are a social couple and would love to form meaningful friendships and a strong bond with our future housemate(s), and if the house has a pet friend even better! Cheers, Maithilee and Abishek
Hi there,..I'm seeking private room near town. Must be near public transport, within 15km of city. Not sure of shift times in future,so somewhere this won't bother anyones routines. I am quiet, but always up for a laugh and a beer. No car or much stuff, any furnishings are appreciated. Thanks-Mike *Need internet (light smoker)
Hi! Currently living on the Sunshine Coast, I'll be starting my Full-Time Bachelor of IT at Griffith University come late-February. I'm eager to be moved into a place a couple weeks prior to give me time to settle in and find part-time work. I'm exceedingly clean and I do my best to ensure my surroundings are organized. I do enjoy my gaming and reading so I may often be keeping to myself, although I don't mind the occasional social night. I'm dynamic and can meet requirements but also laid back so I'd like to find similarly minded flatmates! :) Trying to make my move as stress-free as possible. Cheers!
Hi there ~ I'm Hujo, I'm from China. I'm a fun, easy going , and outgoing person. I'm kinda a smoker but only smoke when I'm upset.Looking for a private room in a share house. Also looking forward to have good time with cool roommates.
Hi everyone :) I'll be moving to Brisbane this February to study my masters in Social Work. I'm 27 (nearly 28), originally from Mullumbimby in Northern NSW, very friendly, down to earth, respectful of others, and a non smoker/drinker (however I don't have a problem with those that do). I've just returned to Australia after living in Indonesia for the last 5 years, and would love to find a sharehouse that feels like a real home, with housemates who are kind-hearted, and enjoy sitting down together for a cup of tea and a good chat. Hoping to find a room in West End or surrounding inner city suburbs. I can afford $175/week INCLUDING bills.
Hey guys! I’m Annie. Im in my final year at UQ (IT) with two steady part time jobs. I have extensive student sharehouse experience (over four years’ worth). I play lacrosse and fence for UQ, and I socialise with my friends a lot, so I’m away a lot of afternoons during semester. Other than that, I understand the need for space, but also I’m down to be friendly and have a good chat/drink. In what spare time I actually have I’m an avid gamer/streamer, so I’m a bit of a night owl. I’ve gotten good at being quiet, but I may make noise occasionally. (LAN party anyone?) I also play piano, so you’ll hear that sometimes too (not at night I promise). Ideally, I want my housemates to be easy going, sociable, who are financially stable and dont mind the occasional party/housemate bonding sesh and will share in chores but generally, I get along with most. I’m just here to have a good time with chill people and hopefully make a few more friends :)
Hello! My name is Georgia and I am a 18 yo uni student. I tend to keep to myself, but can be fun and social! I spend a lot of my time studying during the uni semester, and the rest watching movies, being active, having a few drinks and what not. I am a very respectful and clean person, so you won't have to worry about any mess etc. Typically looking for no more than 3 housemates (negotiable). The max budget of $210 includes all bills (water, electricity, gas, internet etc.), and I am not looking to share a room with others... So I kindly ask that you don't message me if this is the case. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi I am Isaac. I'm originally from Central Queensland however moved here a year ago. I am studying Law/Business at QUT and working part time at the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and ideally looking for a place close to work/uni. I am a clean, quiet person, non smoker. Always up for a chat but also respect others privacy.
Easygoing, fun loving, and Career Driven chap(IT Career, currently working in the city). I would prefer to have a room without a shared bathroom ( ie a bathroom to myself). Please get at me if you have a place which might suit me.
Im clean, tidy and respectful. I'm also a fun person to be around. I can guarantee you wont have a dull moment living with me, and considering Im from Croatia originally theres always plenty of good food around. I'm currently working full time in a solar company. However on the weekend I like to go out, hiking, dancing or to some waterhole.
I'm great to live with because I'm clean and tidy, equally happy keeping to myself or chilling with others, a good cook, and I like people. I've travelled fairly widely, and have lived in Japan and Europe, so I'm comfortable with all sorts of folks. I work casually and study full-time, so I won't be in anyone's way, either. :)
Easy going Gold Coast girl moving up to be closer to uni (QUT kelvin grove/garden point). Looking for flatmates that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise with casual wine nights or heading out in the mornings to buy overpriced avo on toast. Proud supporter of messy hair, sweat pants and baking vegan banana bread. Ideally looking for someone close in age but I get along with everyone so not too fussed. Feel free to message if you think you'd be a good fit :) (Bonus points if you have a dog.)
I'm a 22 year old Norwegian studying film and television at Griffith University South Bank. Generally I'm very easy going, clean and tidy person, don't smoke, up for a beer once in a while or maybe some wine and cookies, I also don't mind any animals. I can offer good food and if you're curious I can teach you how to swear in Norwegian. the places I've listed are only suggestions. If you have a place that's a bit far away from South bank but close to a bus station or train station you're more than welcome to shoot me a message. I'm looking for a nice welcoming place with 1-3 people living there who don't mind chatting a few times but are also respectful of privacy. Hopefully looking for a room with a double/queen/king sized bed as I am 6'6 Currently I'm in Norway and will be back in Australia on the 22nd February, So wont be available by phone
Hey, I'm Kim! I'm a 22 year old Primary school teacher looking to move closer to where I work sometime in early Feb. I'm really into indoor plants so you'd have to be okay with me bringing my small rainforest with me. I'm pretty clean and organised (I will want to make the pantry my bitch), I like to watch Netflix and go to the beach/park/movies when I'm not doing stuff for school. My ideal housemate would be someone who's into similar things as me (art/movies/feminist banter/having the occasional beer and d&m/trying to eat healthy but slipping up fairly regularly), and maybe a potential gym buddy. I'm not much of a party gal but I like to go out for a drink occasionally. I might like to invite friends over occasionally, but mostly just to make nachos and watch TV. I'd like to live in a cute Queenslander-type house or a nice apartment that's a reasonable price but big enough for us to have our own space too. I put 6 months on the ad but I am happy to stay longer, it's just dependent on my work contracts. Let me know if I meet your criteria!
Hi! I'm Andrew, a 29 year old environmental consultant. I work full time during the week in the Valley and sometimes, but not often, travel for work. I am clean, respectful, honest, drama free and appreciate the same in return. I'm a pretty quiet and laid back guy who enjoys the outdoors, either hiking or the beach, but also happy to veg out watching TV, play games, listen to music etc. I also love to attend live gigs to see my favourite bands whenever I can.
Hey I'm Sarah! I'm an easy-going 26yo, working full-time as a Graphic Designer/Web Developer in the South Bank area. I love to spend my weekends at the beach, relaxing or catching up with friends. I also love to cook and enjoy a sneaky wine or two every now and then. I'm very clean, tidy and super considerate when it comes to living with others. Any questions, feel free to send me a message.
I’m moving from Newcastle to Brisbane to study at UQ (St Lucia). I’m going to be studying first year, Masters of Nursing. I’m very easy going , friendly, clean after myself , and respectful of other people’s personal space. I’m looking to share with one other person in a two bedroom apartment, preferably two bathrooms and shared communal space.
Heeyoo, My name is Ricky and I'm an exchange student from Indonesia who is currently studying at UQ. I love to play video games, mindlessly watching Netflix series, and exploring new places around Brisbane. As this is my last semester in UQ, I'm only looking for a tenancy that's around 6 months long. I clean out after myself and I pay the rent on time. As much as I love to go out and spend the night in the city, I also value the joy of eating popcorns and spending the night watching movies with friends. I don't smoke tobacco but I'm fine with having one who does as a housemate. I'm friendly and easy going. Looking for new experiences and new people to interact with! So hit me up and I look forward to meeting you.
**TEAM UP** Hey future Roomies, Liam and I met on Flatmates 5 months ago and got a place together for 6 Months, this is coming to an end so we are wanting to find a bigger place and preferably 2 other people to start a new share house 4+ Bedrooms. We are both working professionals, like to keep fit and healthy during the week and love to have a drink on the weekends. Both easy going and would like to find like minded people to create a fun, happy and drama free place where we are all become friends rather than just roommates. Happy to spend around $250 each a week for a room each, so looking for a place for about $1,000 a week. Preferably looking for at least 1 female to even the house out! Send me a message if you think you will be suited and we can all meet up for a coffee or a drink :) Cheers, Patrick!
Alex & I have just received offers to study nursing, and law at Griffith (Nathan campus). we are both so excited and will be relocating from Townsville. Alex loves gaming and will spend hours trying to finish the game. He also plays guitar, but we keep this to reasonable noise and if it bothers you we can happily go outside. We both enjoy outdoorsy activities and love animals, so if you have pets it wont be a problem (we wont be bringing any with us). I enjoy cooking and admittedly spending too much time on Netflix. We are both pretty laid back and will respect your privacy, but we'd also love to be your friend if you so wish. We are both quite tidy and will have no problems with helping around the house. We would also prefer to have our own bathroom, and a mostly furnished property would be great, we also have our own bedroom furniture. If you have our next home or any questions please message me as soon as possible, we'd love to find a place asap :)
I am looking for somewhere with some yard for my two little dogs! :) They are spaniel crosses... so very cute! I am very easy going and like my own space but also love a good night out with fun people and great food. I will be studying this year at QUT KG campus (master of teaching) and also work in hospitality to pay the bills. I am looking for western suburb homes but also open to other inner city areas (west end, KG, Annerley, Woollongabba) - hit me up if you're a cool chick or dude and you like what you have read above! :)
