I'm looking for somewhere new to live. I'm 33, fairly artistic, and just returned from overseas. I've been a public servant for a decade but don't judge me for that - I try to have a life outside of work, which usually includes the gym, having a few drinks, learning French (bonsoir!), random outings and the occasional creative endeavor - which I may or may not try to rope you into. I just scored a government contract in the city so I'd prefer to live either near the city, or somewhere with good access to public transport. I don't smoke (but don't care if you do), don't have kids, don't start fires and always pay my rent on time. My special housemate skills include killing spiders, mastering the timer on the heater so the house is always warm, playing freezer tetris and going on random Ikea splurges. I'm reasonably tidy but not anal about it. I come with a very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Dexter, and I've never had any issues adding him to my lease. He's good with other animals, especially dogs, and he's getting older so as long as there's somewhere he can pee, he doesn't need a huge yard (although he does need secure fencing). You can see pictures of him on the Insta account I've linked to my profile.
Looking to join a sharehouse or team up and start a new one.. About me : Fully employed, financially independent. Creative soul, musically inclined. I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social / independent. Looking for a large room, or seperate additional space, to setup my studio desk. Enjoy travelling, going on walks / hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends, music festivals, or wherever the day takes me. Home Life : I enjoy social time when living with others but also value my own space. I like to keep things fairly clean, but i'm not a clean freak. Ideally : i'd be sharing with some awesome, creative type people, who enjoy a meal / get together, but who also respect each others space. The usual really. Have a small bunch of furniture - queen sized bed, couch, fridge, microwave, desks, bookshelves, etc... can be used or put into storage. If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Anthony.
Hi, I'm Tapan 37 years old (single, very clean, genuine, responsible and honest person), I'm from Melbourne. I am planning to move to Canberra from 1st July 2018, and will work with Dept of Human Services. I'm software engineer and will be in Canberra for at least 4 months (but chances are I will be there for 12-18 months). I am looking for clean and furnished room (preferably with seperate bath, but flexible on this) with a car park close Greenway, ACT. If you are fine with above mentioned things, then please contact me. Regards, Tapan
Hi We are Chieng and Kayoko. We are currently looking for places to stay in Canberra for 1 month to do our clinical placement in Canberra Hospital. We would prefer the offered accommodation have 2 separate rooms for each of us as we would like to keep our privacy. It would be the best if the rooms are furnished and bills included. As we are only having short stay in Canberra and never been there before, we will pretty much doing the stuffs like tourists. We enjoy baking and cooking but one month stay will probably withdraw our thoughts of showing the skills. Please give us a message if you are able to offer us 2 rooms in one spot. (max rent: 150/week from each of us).
Hi, My name is Holly, I'm a down to earth, genuine person. Honest, responsible and respectful. I'm unique, a lil outside the box, yet also fun, quite, very clean & tidy, and not into drama . A little alternative in some aspects of life. Preferably after a self contained unit/ studio/ bedsitter/ flat or even a caravan type rental. Seeking longer term rental.
Looking for my own flat/studio/granny flat or room in an existing share place in the Queanbeyan/Oaks Estate area for myself and my little ten year old dog (left in photo). Budget is max. $230 per week. Also considering a team up for a 2 bedroom flat/house, with total rent max. $460. Preferably within walking/easy cycling distance to the Queanbeyan CBD, or on a bus route. Also close to parks/river for walking Billy. I am the event manager for a large annual Sydney based Festival (I work remotely from home). I am friendly, sociable and like a chat, but also like my quiet time. Qualities in a flatmate: Easy going, no dramas, not an 'at home partier', clean and tidy. Animal lovers most welcome!
I’m outdoorsy, a foodie and coffee lover, somewhat social will be moving here for work. Would prefer (obviously not a big issue) if housemates were also fit, adventures or outdoorsy aswell. Also if you speak Portuguese or Spanish (trying to learn both) or any other language that would be awesome but obviously not a biggie. Im also learning guitar and drums (they’re electric drums so don’t worry I won’t be bringing down the house lol) I enjoy rock climbing, mountain hikes, camping anything adventurous I’ll be there, Always up for a civil convo about world economics and politics and love a good laugh. Pretty open minded and cruisey. If you would like to know anything else about me pls let me know xx
I currently live in Queanbeyan with a friend and I'm looking for another place to live. I have been working for Telstra for almost 6 years. I'm a New Zealander but have been living in Australia for 20 years now. I am passionate about sport, especially AFL as I play it myself. I also love to train at F45 on a daily basis. Not much of a party animal. I'm down to earth and love to have chat here and there. Love a drink or too as well. I have OCD so will always keep the house tidy. Love animals particularly dogs :)
I'm down to earth, chilled, understanding and respectful. I'm clean and considering of others. Good with house maintenance. I like to keep to myself, respecting others privacy, but also like communal living and doing activities together once every often. I like to snowboard.
I am a tidy, quiet and independent person who is respectful and easy to communicate with. I currently work a couple of casual jobs and pursue creative writing and film-making as hobbies. I absolutely love animals (especially dogs).
Hi! I'm Adam. I work full time as an animator for a small digital advertising company. I'm very laid back and like to keep things tidy, I mostly keep to myself but I'm always down to socialise! I've lived in a share house for the past 5-ish years so I'm used to pulling my own weight, I'm just keen to upgrade to a bigger place that can offer a bit more privacy and space (as well as a proper sized kitchen!), as well as secure parking and air conditioning. I have no pets but I miss having pets around so if you've got any that's a bonus as far as I'm concerned. :) And, although it's not a requirement, if you've got a place where I could consider getting a pet of my own that would be amazing. I'm also not keen on moving around a lot so ideally I'm looking for a long-term arrangement, somewhere I can call home. Aiming to stay on the south side of the ACT as my office is there and the stage 2 plans for the light rail taking up a couple of lanes on Commonwealth Avenue bridge and making traffic horrendous sounds terrifying, so I'd rather not deal with that!
I like to help out with household responsibilities such as cleaning and I’m an extremely fastidious person by nature. I’m a very respectful, mature, friendly and honest housemate. I’m looking to share with a likeminded individual who is also respectful and clean. I would like a place with my own bathroom as I cannot stand sharing with people who can’t clean up after themselves. In saying that, if you’re as fussy as me (borderline OCD lol), I might be able to share a bathroom with you 😂 I respect other people’s privacy, however I’m more than willing to socialise with others in the house if they wish to. I enjoy motorsports, tinkering around with cars and footy (AFL & NRL).
33 yr old male. Full time IT worker in Tuggeranong, I enjoy a clean and tidy home. Always pay my bills in full and on time. I go to the gym most afternoons, and will generally keep to myself the rest of the time. While I will make most of my food at home I wash my dishes and clean the kitchen IMMEDIATELY after use. I'm a pretty avid PC user so I'll mostly be in my room, although I don't mind sitting down for Netflix and chill or a meal with the flatties. Don't mind the occasional social outing or sneaky beverage on the weekend (I'm certainly no party animal tho)... I'm generally pretty timid and very respectable of others personal space and living arrangements. I have been living and working in Canberra for around 18 months and looking to move closer to work for convenience.
I'm a 21 years old and work full-time. I'm pretty much either working, hanging out with mates or watching Netflix. I'm super tidy and always clean up after myself. Looking for a flatmate who's easy going and down to have a cheeky brew or two every now and again :)
I'm handy with anything that deals with IT, construction and photography. I can do more than change a light bulb, I love doing home construction projects. I also make sure as much as possible that I don't bother other people in my vicinity, I'm not a loud person. I'd be down to talk about boundaries and rules if someone has some, would rather avoid awkward or frustrating situations. If you have problems with me, I'd love to work around them, I'm not a hard guy to deal with.
I’m friendly, clean and tidy and respect your privacy. I work, and study from home fulltime (Psychology), enjoy early nights and a peaceful environment. I am a mature 40year old, but quite young of mind and enjoy a good laugh. Please read my entire post for what I’m looking for before replying. I’d rather put on another layer than use the heating, don’t have crazy long showers, and don’t slam the door on my way out at 6am. I’m hoping for a likeminded housemate. I am a light smoker, outdoors only. Strictly drug free environment wanted. I’m after 3-12+ months stay, depending on how well we get along. I have a lovely 13 year old mini foxie cross (all of 4.5kg) who sleeps in my room when I’m not home. He’s housetrained and very well behaved (no jumping all over you in excitement)! He’s not suited with other dogs or cats, but loves people.
My current lease is ending on the 22 August 2018, and I am looking for a place to live for 6 months. I am a clean and tidy person, who is happy to assist around the house, and I am very easy going A little about me: - I am happy to live with pets - I am a non-smoker - Will be moving with bedroom furniture - I enjoy the outdoors, 4WD, and keeping fit - I am employed full-time - My beverages of choice are whisky and beer on the odd weekend - I like to think I can cook pretty well
I'm easy-going and friendly, and completely accepting of anything. I am punctual and on time with payments and I like to keep things clean. Unfortunately my landlord is selling so I have to move, and I am desperately trying to find a place. Move date is flexible.
Hey! So I'm a student studying at CMA in mitchell, I'll be a qualified beauty therapist by the end of year. I'm quite, clean and very friendly. I tend to get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot. Although, I don't mind spending a few nights together or having a chat. I'm young and creative and enjoy just hanging around watching Netflix or doing some baking. Always been a Canberra gal, im not a loud person nor am I a partier. That doesn't stop me from the one off nights where I might wanna go out. I'd be down with hanging and having a few drinks. I have a small inside dog, everyone adores him, his a great dog who gets along with other animals too. His names Xavier and his a shoodle :) I can't afford much due to being a student, once I'm a qualified therapist I hope to do mobile/at home treatments. I would prefer living with another individual/2 others or alone. This is due to me being extremely shy. I would like to open up and meet new people though too. I love nerding out- I love marvel, DC, reading comics, game of thrones, rick and morty just to name a few things. Depending how nerdy you are I can play magic the gathering and always down to learn a new thing or two ! I’m super super shy I can’t stress that enough, but once I’m comfortable I’m sure we’d get on fine! I do have a few LGBT friends that would potentially come over so I’d prefer if I was living with someone who accepts them. Let me know if you’d like to know more about me or think we’d be a good match. 😊😊 I’m also able to pay my rent months in advanced if needed.
