Hi I am Rich, 30 yr old young (just about!) professional currently working in the tech industry. I am another Pom from London to emigrate to Australia. I am arriving on the 29th March, Looking for a regular 9-5 mon to fri job. Looking for a more homely type place, rather than your stereotypical backpacker digs. A little about myself, I am a keen traveller having done central / south American and south east Asia. Have picked up a little Spanish along the way and from staying with a Guatemalan family for 2 weeks. I have done two marathons (Chicago and Amsterdam) and have completed a 100 miles bike sportive in London. Unfortunately I am not a great swimmer unless I have scuba gear on! (PADI Certified). I am into quite a few sports and look forward to experience an Aussie rules game. I have a few friends in Melbourne already so you won't have to worry about me too much. Enjoy going to music festivals and interested to see what the scene is like in Melbourne.
I don't build houses, I build homes... now I just need my own. 23 years old, moving Down from Sydney for work. I'm a builder with a large construction company. Keen on somewhere with good vibes.
Hey! I'm a Canadian (from Toronto) travelling through Australia and decided I loved Melbourne so much I have to stay for a while. I'm running my own small company in the sustainable fashion space but also working full time. I'm very used to sharing space with other people so I'm very easy going, open minded and respectful. I love to cook healthy food, be active (running, yoga, hiking) and explore local events. I also eat a predominantly vegetarian diet so if you don't want meat in the house I have no problem with that.

Hey there! My name is Sophie, I'm 28 and moved here to Melbourne a month ago from NZ. I am a graphic designer currently in the process of job hunting. I have savings to pay for rent etc until I get a job! Happy to pay rent in advance with bond. Rent and bills have always been a priority to me, they come first before anything and I have never missed a rent payment or bill in my life. I enjoy exploring the city, a drink or two and eating! I also enjoy quiet nights in and relaxing. Love bands (especially Shihad!), finding rooftop bars and I love to cook too but still intrigued by Uber Eats! I'm really easy to get along with, very tidy and always clean up after myself. I want to live in a home where everyone takes pride in how the place looks. I promise you won't regret living with me!

I'm a very social person, always having a laugh and enjoy kicking back more now rather than partying although Im a big techno enthusiast. I pretty much keep low key these days, also a massive foodie :P I worked at Bupa Health Insurance for almost 2 years and left recently as Im gonna look for something else but I'll never be late with rent or anything to do with finance. I've gotten into the nature side of things lately so I do enjoy going to parks, beaches etc. Anything with a good view that will open up the soul. I get along well with pretty much anyone and we will definitely become friends rather than just housemates pho sho. Im open to pretty much any area not just the area I put in lol
Hey! How are you guys doing? I am Dutchie (from the Netherlands), finished my Master's last summer and am now traveling the world. However, I ran out of money so I need to work... and during my last travel in South-America everybody recommended me Melbourne (seriously, I have not heard a bad word about it thus far), so I am very excited to go there mid April. After work and in the weekends I love to do/watch sports, such as basketball, and football, preferably in combination with a beer/wine/rum/anythingthatcointainsalcohol and I am always in for a party. Futhermore, I would love to live in a house with other outgoing people that like to do things together such as cooking/dining, trips and party. Don't hesitate to contact me and let's plan a skype-meeting so we can get to know each other!
Hi, I'm Nathan, I am looking to move to Melbourne from Tasmania to attend Mercer design school in Collingwood. I do freelance work/part time work, aswell as study. I'd like to think I'm a decent laid back guy, that likes to hang with friends, meet new people, go out, but also kick back and relax at home binging shows or just napping. I'm pet friendly, moderately clean, quiet, responsible, and very considerate.
I am a chilled out person. Into meditation, running and yoga etc. I like freestyle dancing. I am a professional in the IT field. I am mostly vegan. I like to hangout with friends, watch comedy shows on the internet, cook a little for myself. I tend to prefer organic stuff over artificial and chemical stuff. I am originally from India but last 10 yrs have been overseas including UK, Sydney and now Melbourne.
Hi there! We are a Canadian couple (Cait and Ramey) and an English lad (Alex) who have spent the last six weeks in Wentworth trying to make a dent in our 88 days of regional work. As the season is drawing to a close and work drying up, the three of us are ready to leave hostel life behind for a few weeks and come back to the city. I (Cait) am a teacher registered with a supply agency in Melbourne as well as an experienced bartender and barista, Ramey has worked in the service industry for 7+ years, and Alex has just received his white card to work construction. The three of us are kind, courteous, NEAT, and (if I do say so myself) quite fun to be around. We're liberal, queer/LGBTQ+ friendly, avid readers, and pun wizards (well, at least Ramey is). Our big party days are behind us, but we do enjoy a few social beverages here and there. We also love a good game; card games, board games, dice games, charades...you get the picture. After a month and a half of living in a hostel, we are all looking forward to having a little slice of our own space, but aren't the types to just hole up in our rooms whenever we're home. We are looking for two furnished rooms available for roughly six weeks as of April 7-ish, and are hoping to pay about $200/person/week or less. Obviously the world will not bend to our will, so we are expecting to have to be a little flexible. If you think that sounds like what you have and you're looking for three people that sound like us, shoot me a message and let's work something out! Cait (and Ramey and Alex)
I'm a 29 year old American guy that has just finished backpacking in Asia for a year and now I'm settling in Melbourne for awhile. I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months, potentially longer. I worked in IT for 4 years in Chicago but I'm currently in search of cafe work (hopefully day hours). I'm laid back, considerate, keep things clean and have been told that I'm a very easy person to live with. I enjoy running, biking, and cooking. I'm not a huge party person, but definitely enjoy a few drinks after work and the occasional night out. Since I'm new to the city it would be great to become friends with my future flatmates but it's not a must.
Im from good ol 'Murica, studying child care and development at a private college in the city. When im not studying, I'm nannying 3 munchkins and working an amazing cafe in fitzroy, or an amazing resturant off brunswick st. Other than that, i try to maintain a social life in between. Loves: cooking new meals, baking, netflixing, wineing or beering, paying bills on time, cleaning up after myself and making the house look ahhmazing, and every dog i ever meet (and cats, if they let me 🤗) Dislikes: people who clip their toenails in public and the word moist. Pretty busy lifestyle, but always happy to chat! Lived in share houses before, so definitely not my first rodeo :)
Hi, I am a neat, tidy and respectful guy, working in a Hospital 30hrs a week when not in Primary Schools as a teacher. 30yr old, interested in running and sport, enjoy a nice conversation but also keep to myself sometimes... :)

Hey! My name is Madeleine. I’m a 25 year old from Sweden who just moved to Melbourne from Gothenburg and I’m now looking for a room in a flatshare. For the last three years I’ve been studying psychology at the university of Gothenburg. I’ve now decided to take some time of uni and spend a year or two in Melbourne before I continue with my master in clinical psychology. I will be working in the restaurant/café business. I Like to keep myself active and usually I spend my spare time hanging out with friends, go to the gym or reading a good book. I like indie, rock and electronic music. I’m up for partying and bar hangouts. Also I enjoy wining and dining and cooking occasionally. I’m an easy going, social person but I don’t take up too much space. Kindest, Madeleine
We are a couple of introverted performing artists who love the outdoors, reading, film, cooking, spirituality and exploring. Very easy going and we value kindness, compassion, honesty and openness. We have a well-behaved cat also. We would love to hear from anyone offering temporary accommodation, sub-lets, or a two-bedroom places. Many thanks! :)
I'm 22 and in July 2016 I moved to Melbourne from Perth, where I finished studying and started work writing for a newspaper and as a part-time Dj. I moved to Melbourne to get more into music and study part-time, but only lasted two days at uni before dropping out to focus more on music and writing and other interests. I'm very content in Melbourne and am here to stay for a while. I'm always seen myself as easy to get along with. I like meeting people from all walks of life, but particularly enjoy getting to know and talking to those with similar interests to me. I'd like to live with others who are empathetic and generally respectful. I like doing lots of things and am always open to exploring more activities attitudes, but I particularly like music, health-awareness, writing, friends, being outdoors, discussions about interesting things, etc. Please get in touch with any questions or for general chats. Thank you! Jacob
Hi. I am looking for a room in a shared flat. I am from Korea and I will probably stay in Melbourne until September 2017. I work as a freelance writer and a translator. I came to Australia to enjoy what Australia has to offer. :)
Hi my names Jessie I'm a 31 years old HR professional working 9-6 most days in the city. i most enjoy going to the gym, watching good tv series and trying new coffee places/restaurants. I am not a party animal. I enjoy socializing with friends on the weekends, chatting with a house mate over a glass of wine, but also am content with my own company so happy to relax in my own space as well as shared areas. I am originally from Adelaide and moved here a year ago for work. I am clean, neat and enjoy a clean/tidy house. I am also very respectful of a home. I have been living with my house mate and her boyfriend for the past year and half, they are now moving out of the townhouse I currently live in in Richmond. So I would ideally like to find a new place in the same area by the end of April. If it is the right home I am willing to discuss paying rent earlier. Thanks for reading my profile. Jessica
I just arrived in Melbourne and am currently looking for a room. Shortly, I am French and I am 23. I study cultural communication in Paris and I have decided to work in Melbourne for a long term job in Alliance francaise of Melbourne where I'll be in charge of promoting French artists. What I love above all is art, laughing and meeting people from everywhere. Last year, I made an academic exchange in Berlin for 6 months and I truly think it was the best experience I ever had. I get used to live in flatshares with basic rules such as respect or cleanliness. I'm an easy going girl, when I'm not working I usually like to spend the day relaxing at home or discovering new places but as Melbourne will be fairly new to me, I will be doing a lot of getting to know the beautiful area ! I'm flexible to meet you when it suits you 🙂
Hey Guys Looking for a place to rent near Swinburne University My name is Federico I just turned 30, im from Mexico and im studying my double masters in engineering and entrepreneurship at Swinburne university and im looking for somewhere to rent! Im looking to getting a part time job so I wont be around much! Im super friendly and pretty sociable. My girlfriend is also moving to Melbourne in early may, so at first will only be me, and from may fwd is the 2 of us, she is a 26 y.o. chef from the states, laid back girl and pretty cool too. She will also be going to school and have a part time job. I’m essentially looking for somewhere quiet to study and a nice place to sleep! I’ve been told that i am good room mate, Im neat, clean and I clean up after myself, I like the outdoors and all sports, so every time that I'm not working or studying I'm doing some fun sport somewhere or looking for a cool stuff, of course I will be happy to take some beers now and then if you are in the mood. THANKS
Hi! I am originally from the Chicago, US and have been living in Australia for 10 years. I am a full-time student studying psychology and I do this online. I am looking for a new place since being overseas for 6 months. I am not working now but, I plan on getting some part-time work once I am settled. Don’t worry, I will still be able to cover my part of the rent. ;) Finding a housemate who is respectful and considerate of personal space is important to me. I am a friendly and thoughtful person but sometimes I need time to recharge my batteries. I would be happy living with someone who is outgoing or more reserved if we can get along I would also prefer living with someone who has a sense of humour. I enjoy being playful and having a laugh but my humour is dry and sarcastic at times which sometimes people don’t understand. I think that it is really important to laugh after a stressful day! I also enjoy cooking (but not baking!), photography, movies, traveling and hanging out at the pub when I can get away from my studies. Please send me a message if you would like to more Cheers Vicki
Hey, I'm Dee. I am a Kiwi and I am moving to Melbourne for a new role with the Victorian Ombudsman. I am looking for a place to move into around the 29th of April. I'm relaxed, clean and tidy. I'm independent but would nice to live with people who are social, share a wine or maybe a meal. Also people who wouldn't mind answering my dumb questions about Melbourne. I'm a pretty good home chef, so I could woo any potential housemates with good food.
I'm from India. I am used to Flat-sharing. I'm neat, tidy guy. can help with house-hold chores. Will love to help you in cooking (Considering, you won't kill me if i make mistakes). I would love to play with your pet, if you have one, but if you don't, it's alright. Very helpful and have little bit of handsomeness from my papa.. Would love to hear from you! :)
I like plants and people and good food. Im not in Melbourne forever so want to absorb as much as i can while i'm here. Ive been adventuring in NZ for the past six weeks and heading to Asia at the end of May. Graduated with an English Degree last year, I'm from London but have spent most of my years in Guernsey. Have been studying in England for the past 6 years, thats where all of my family are from. Spare time i try and read, get to some galleries, hazard a spot of yoga and mostly chill out. I like doing stuff and I'm easy going and clean and come with a good selection of music. Looking for a place with some groovy people around N Melbourne area.
I am a simple person who likes to be clean & tidy. Mostly you will find me engrossed in my computer. - IT professional - non-smoker - vegetarian - I respect others privacy & expect the same from them
I consider myself a really easy going and friendly person, who loves to spend time relaxing or being with my friends. At home i'm often watching tv/movies, reading, doing puzzles, cooking and playing the piano or singing (this is my passion). Outside of the house I love to go to markets, plays, movies, on picnics and out for dinner and a drink. Occasionally I really enjoy yoga, hikes or riding my bike. I'm trying to be more active haha. I work 30-35 hours a week at a gelato store called Messina, so if you love gelato, i'm always in great supply! I'm also vegetarian but am not bothered if others cook meat in the house. Ideally, i'm after a place with people who are warm and friendly and who I can connect with. I want home to feel like a safe haven where I can come to relax. I'm not really a party person and I love my own space but i'm always open to have a chat, hang out and come together to make dinner together. I'm clean and tidy but am just happy to go with the flow of the house. :)

⚡ I'm Dylan, 29 and I'm working full time as a web developer. I love being outside when the sun is out, I love bars & craft beers, I like coffee, a little bit of live music, Seinfeld, and love socialising with my housemates when the stars align. I also like to pay my bills on time and keep the kitchen neat and I've got a tonne of share housing experience. I'm pretty average at describing myself so it's probably better to meet me in person!
I have lived in share houses/apartments for 4 years and still am friends with most of my previous roomies. I am clean but not a neat freak, I like a beer/wine or two but don't get drunk, I am a quiet person but don't mind the occasional chat, in general I am pretty chilled. I work in IT and a lot of my interests are around technology. I recently moved from Sydney for work. I have travelled all around the world and hoping to travel more in the near future!
Hey I'm Frankie, working full time as a civil engineer. A pom (don't hold it against me) but currently awaiting citizenship. Love checking out new eating and watering holes, live music, exploring, hiking, swimming and will give anything a go. Make a vague attempt at tennis and a more specific attempt at the odd glass of wine. Managed to achieve normal human being status by mid-twenties - got my shit together, cook up a storm, clean up after myself, not a hermit, chip in and looking for more of a home than a house. Looking to move within the next couple of weeks within easy commute of the CBD.

Hi I am Gab! I am a 32 years old, working full-time in education. I am respectful, open, friendly, clean and easy going. I am originally from Ecuador and have lived in Melbourne for 14 years. In terms of sharing a house, I am all for openness, generosity, friendship and community but also understand importance of respecting peoples' space and privacy, and that means keeping things clean and tidy as well! I like cooking, running, doing yoga, music, dancing, hiking and hanging out with family and friends in my spare time! I also love pets so happy to join a house with any pets!!!
My name is Andres, I'm Marketing Professional and I can say that I am a responsible, tidy and a hard-working student who like to communicate with people and get to know new interesting individuals. Every single day I do my best to be a better guy.
Im a part-time visual arts student looking for a small self contained flat or studio space close to transport into the city. Im quiet and self dependant, not a partier at all, I work hard to support myself but right now I'm commuting back and forth between Melbourne and Rural Victoria, which is a difficult task, and I would like to relocate permanently. My move date Isn't set in stone but i would like to be living in Melbourne as soon as possible.
Hey, what's up? My name is Till, I'm an easy going, laid back, no drama kind of guy from Germany. I work full time in advertising as a content manager and will be in Melbourne to do so for 6 Months, starting May 1st. I love to dance (anywhere, anytime) and get out as much as possible, but I also enjoy a lazy night on the couch watching a show or a movie as well from time to time. I'm not too bad of a cook, however, I can never seem to get the portions right and always cook way too much. Since I'll only bring over 2 backpacks from Germany, it would be great if there'd at least be a mattress in my room or if you could help me get one. All in all I'm not looking for a mansion, but rather an affordable place to hit the hay and to have a good time in Melbourne. I don't consider myself a neatfreak, but I am obviously clean and reasonably tidy. Also, of course, I'm respectful to any nationalities, skin colours, sexual preferences, people's need for privacy and houserules. Hit me up if that sounds good to you, and I'm sure we'll figure something out! With regards, Till P.S.: don't worry too much about the districts I have selected – if I can get from your place to Cremorne in under or roughly one hour by public transport, that's fine.
