Hi! I am a 20+ female from Malaysia and have been residing in Australia for many years, currently pursuing a Master degree in Landscape Architecture and will be working and studying in Melbourne starting next year. From my past 6 times of house sharing experience, and several times of sharing rooms at hostels, I have a reputation of being a clean, tidy, and responsible house/roommate. I speak 4 languages, namely English, Mandarin Chinese, Malay and Spanish; and I am an avid traveler. I have just done a big backpack round tour in Europe, had traveled to Japan, and did work and study in China, Ireland and Spain. I consider myself to be an open-minded and mature person, also should be fun to be with as told by my friends. I enjoy cooking and baking, which I don't mind sharing the food with my future flatmates. I am also into arts and design, photography, books, linguistic, culture and history, plants, fitness and DIY. Happy with locations within an hour public transport time distance from city center, within the public transport Zone 1 + 2, even if not listed in my "Preferred locations" section below. Please drop me a message if you think I sound like a friend-to-have / someone who should be living at your flat right now! I don't mind teaming up with like-minded people to rent a property too.
Hi! I've recently moved to Melbs from Sydney so plenty of places to explore and keep me busy. Love checking out fun stuff, breweries, art exhibitions, music, camping and beach time whenever I can manage it. Eventually I'll bring my surfboard down and hopefully find some waves too! I'm an interior stylist with standard weekday hours. My move date is flexible as currently house sitting. Would be awesome to live with chilled out people who are keen for the occasional shared meal, drink and chat. I'm clean, tidy, considerate and love a good laugh. I try to keep a bit healthy so I can eat all the cheese and drink all the gin. Also love super spicy food and am a podcast obsessive so if you have any good ones hit me up.
A Chinese adventurer, An electrical engineering student, An open-minded free spirit person. Been living overseas since 2011, always studying, travelling ,working and experiencing different cultures while making good friends along the way. Going to study in RMIT, very excited for the new life here in Melbourne. Eventually want to move to Europe for more future career opportunities. I love animals, good movies, video game, tasty alcohols and having fun, relax during weekends. I am working in hospitality, so mainly during the weekends evenings. Will I be your future flatmate?
A bit about me: Currently working for Converse Head Office ANZ and looking to move out of my current location in St Kilda. Been share housing for 4 years now, naturally very clean anyway so never has been an issue for me. I love all things coffee and come equipped with my own espresso machine. If you like espresso martinis then we should get along just fine. Between work and gym you can find me in a park having a picnic or trying to get a tan at the beach (but most likely getting burnt). I pretty much just love the sunshine 😀
My partner Julian and I are from the US, and are looking for a place in Melbourne for 6-9 months. On our off days, we enjoy doing something creative or spending time outside. We're both very easy going and are always willing to lend a hand wherever possible. I would like someone easy going and honest as a roommate. Sweet, thank you!
Hey I'm Matt, I'm a pretty easygoing person who just relocated to Melbourne from Perth. I can also make a decent meal. Preferably I am looking for an unfurnished room that fits a queen bed but I'm willing to consider whatever is out there. It is essential that there is somewhere I can park my car even if it is just on the street
Hi, I’m Libby. I currently work as a psychologist and in research. When I’m not working, I’m into cooking and baking (will share baked goods - this is a plus), health and fitness, good (and sometimes bad) Tv shows on Netflix, music, and just being a sloth. I’m fairly sociable and enjoy hanging out with my friends on th weekend, having a drink and chatting every now and then, but also value alone-time and privacy, especially at home. I’m easy going and considerate, and keep things clean and tidy when I can. I’ve been living in the same sharehouse in Fitzroy with the same housemates for the last 3 years and I get along easily with people in general, but am pretty honest and straightforward when needed. Looking to move out as my current housemates are moving out and going their separate ways and I also want to join in this change (and end of an era). I have a car so parking space is essential - willing to pay for a permit if it is available.
Hi everyone, My name is Konner and I have just moved back to Melbourne after living and working in Sweden. While I enjoyed my time there, It is nice to be back to Melbourne after such a long time away and it is time to stop freeloading on my friends couch and find a home. I'm 26 years old English/Australian guy currently doing honours research at Swinburne university for the next year which will keep me very busy. I also work part time on the side so I can pay the bills. I'm hoping to find a nice place with happy people. I am thoroughly flatmate-trained and I've been lucky enough in the past to live with some fantastic people who were strangers originally and who eventually became good friends. Hopefully that trend will be continued! I like to stay healthy and play sports during the week (obviously with a little unhealthiness on weekends in moderation). I also love traveling, movies, food and other normal-person stuff like that. I am also, of course, the correct flatmate mix of sociable but respectful of privacy. Thanks a lot! Konner
Keep a clean house, quiet, get along well with people, work full time, always pay rent and bills on time. Work as a nurse, have been in current accomodation for about 4 years (Ivanhoe) Living with three people. Usually go to the gym after work or watch trash TV. Also studying Love the beach, spending time out having meals with friends. Not interested in a party house
Hey! I'm a warm, open minded and respectful housemate always up for a good belly laugh, house movie nights, or just chilling on my own in the hammock with a good book. Huge animal lover, so pets are a plus. Vego, but anything but preachy. Musician, but respectful of the quiet hours. Ideally I'd love to find a place with a good garden to help out in, a bath, and I'm hoping for more of a sociable, friendly household; somewhere that's not afraid to go and grab beers together sometimes, while still keeping up a healthy respect for space and privacy too. Not looking for an immediate move, but just testing out the waters, and if the shoe sounds like it fits, let me know!
Hey I'm Flo and I'm a Registered Nurse from the Gold Coast (QLD). I've been living in Melbourne for just over 2 years now. I'm quite a bubbly person and I adapt well to almost all situations. When I'm not at work, I'm usually binge watching a series on Netflix, at the gym or I'm napping (nurse life). I love spending my time off exploring new places, creating things or going out for a few drinks with friends. I enjoy cooking and usually like to meal prep for the week depending on how my shifts are. I love having a chat but I also enjoy my alone time too and respect others and their needs. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me :)
Hi, we're Joe and Jack, two 22 year old friends looking for a long term place in Melbourne. We're looking for two available rooms, or a possible lease transfer. Happy to move in right away but are flexible. Both of us are arts orientated, open-minded, and social guys. Really clean and considerate in shared areas. I (Jack) have just come back to Australia after living in Tokyo for a year. This is the last year of my bachelor's degree in Japanese. I play music and do recording. Joe is currently working part-time as a landscape gardener. We're into music, films, reading, video games and gardening around the house.
I'm a relaxed, easy going guy who gets along with everyone and likes being around people. Here's a bit about myself: I've just finished off a course in nursing and want to be a mental health nurse in the future. I won't be going straight into mental health nursing. I want a break to relax and earn some money so I'll continue at my currently job, were I am already working 4-5 days a week part-time/fulltime. I enjoy socialising and having a beer with friends and new mates and also love a kickback watching some tv and having a laugh at the couples on married at first sight (this level of comedy can’t be scripted), Netflix is a close second. I'm also currently living in a share house
Clean, down to earth, relaxed and respectful. I (try!) to live a healthy lifestyle and since i grew up in the outback i love to get out into the green and go bush walking or just watch the clouds float by. I don't own a tv but i do like the occational movie or docco, pretending to play my guitar, having a hearty laugh or just chilling out. I'm studying Osteopathy at RMIT and would love a willing guineapig to practice osteo therapy (not essential of course! ) I have the privilege of sharing this life with a parrot named Jazz. She's house trained (well, ok, sort of), quiet, not screechy in the least, is a total sucker for neck rubs and has no shame in boldy investigating underneath your shirt, where she is also likely to set up camp and have a kip. I'm not on any social media, I'm a bit old fashioned, but can easily provide referees a-plenty should you wish to dig up a bit on me ;)
Hi all, I'm Tom a recent graduate engineer, working full time in the city. I'm easy going, open minded and a non-smoker. I enjoy running/walking outside, and am always up for outdoor activities (as long as I have time). Furthermore I enjoy having a drink of coffee or a pint down the pub and enjoy relaxing at home reading/watching TV. I am generally fairly neat and will keep any mess restricted to my room, I don't have any pets but am more than happy if you have a pet dog/cat/lizard. I'm looking for a clean and neat place with friendly and social housemates or to start up a share house with someone else. I'm ready to move in as within the next two weeks if possible but don't mind waiting a while. Don't care about gender. Car parking is ideal but not necessary. I hope to hear from you soon.
Hello! We are two friends Kate and Linden looking for a housemate to team up with in applying for a 3 bedroom place in Richmond, Fitzroy, Abbotsford area. We both work full time, love a communal dinner, and survive our jobs with a few beers on the weekends. Looking for someone friendly, clean, also working full time, and preferably not travelling, although if you are here for more than a year that would work. Also would be happy to live with a couple (cheaper rent for everyone!). Our max budget each is 250/w, so looking for somewhere up to 750/w. Goal is to find a house or townhouse, not so keen on apartments. We are currently going to inspections and would like someone to apply with us and be on the lease. If this works for you, lets organise a catch up and get house hunting! Thanks Linden and Kate
I work full time in advertising as a Graphic Designer in Collingwood. I’m looking for a room in a relaxed/comfy sharehouse with other down to earth, tidy and respectful people. I enjoy my downtime but also keen to have other housemates I can socialise with. I love drawing, going to gigs and festivals, cooking, and keeping active. Ideally after a place close to public transport.
I'm friendly and easy going. I'm pretty clean and tidy. I am very mature and reliable. I'll always pay rent on time! I'll mostly keep to myself, but I'd be happy to hang out too. I love animals, especially dogs. I've recently moved to Melbourne from perth to study fashion design at RMIT.
I am always happy and positive ( but not annoyingly ). I work full time as Account Manager for a Civil Construction company. I love running and will usually be up and out the door by 5am and then working all day. Im not into partying but I am happy to have a beer/wine and every now and again Im up for a night out when the time is right :-) I am originally from Ireland and have been in Australia since 2005, I moved to Melbourne in November and have been renting an apartment by myself in Southbank to experience city life but would like to share again to save a bit and have a bit more human interaction :-)
