Izak here, an international student from the Netherlands. My partner is going overseas for work and therefore I am looking for a room to rent until I finish my degree and found a job. Because we lived in an apartment I own full furnishings, such as: a tv, a couch, a washing machine, kitchen appliances etc, and happy to contribute my bit. I study social work, play rugby, am an active volunteer in the LGBTI+ community, and work part-time in a supermarket. I am a social, mature, reasonable guy that likes to have and cook a dinner at times, but also loves to have a bit of privacy. The room I am looking for is spacious and near public transport. I do not mind if the room is a bit further out in any of Melbourne's suburbs. I am allergic to pets, and as an ex-smoker prefer a non smokers household :)
We love to play video games, cook and go out on occasion. As a couple we are clean, respectful of housemate privacy and animal friendly (with none of our own). I'm everything from a coding tutor to a bartender, and study Computer Science. We are looking for a place where we can hang out during the day when we're not out and about, studying or working. Bonus points for a dishwasher, heating and aircon. We are flexible with bedroom furniture and are looking for long term (anything from 4 months to a year+). Move in date flexible too. Please send us a message!! Would love to hear from you :)

I love going to the movies of having a film night on the couch. Science fiction and fantasy are my favorite kind. I also love Dr Who. I enjoy going camping and hiking on a regular basis. I currently work full time in childcare. So want be home weekdays. I like to garden, but my skills is yet to be determined. I'm willing to share the chores around the house and will be happy to cook for the house hold once a week on a set night.
Hey, Let us tell you a little about ourselves :) My name is Nikita. I'm a Barista, in the process of working towards owning my own cafe. I love to travel, experience new things and I do my best to make the most of what each day has to offer. I'm very friendly and outgoing and I have no trouble making friends with new people. My partner is Alex, a qualified Electrician, also studying Project Management. Alex is super chilled, likes having a good laugh and keeping busy experiencing new things. He's always up for meeting new people and making new friends. We're both very easy going people, happy to keep to ourselves, or just as happy to be in a more social living arrangement and make new friends. We both work Monday - Friday and keep pretty busy over the weekends. Alex swims 3 nights a week and I attend kickboxing 3 nights a week so we're never just hanging about the house too much. Anyway, we're basically good people, saving for a place of our own and we'd love the opportunity to find some fellow good people to rent with until it's time to buy a place of our own. If we sound like your type of people, please let us know :)
Hello! We are a couple, in our late 30s, currently living in Fairfield. We like eating out, the cinema, going to concerts, cycling, and travelling. We're easy going, quiet and tidy. We have excellent references from previous rentals.
My name is Leaira and I am a recent Master's graduate from UCL in London. Im from the States but Ive been studying archaeology and anthropology in the UK for the last five years. This is my first time in Australia and Im really excited about getting involved in the cultural aspects of Melbourne. I'll be looking for jobs in museums, galleries, and cultural centres, and will be employed full time in retail during my search. As a flatmate, Im very tidy but I dont mind if others are not. I love to cook so I'll probably cook you a nice meal during my stay. Im always happy to chill with flatmates and have a drink or two.
Hey im an easy going female who is looking to move out of home. I need to move to be closer to work. I have a 8month black spoodle who would come with me. He is very friendly and loves people and other dogs. He is toilet trained and has many tricks.
Hi my name is Chelsea I'm a second year student at La Trobe University. I know I would make a great housemate because I'm super friendly, easy going, always respectful of others personal space, very clean and organised, open-minded and financially stable as I have a part time job. I'm more than happy to share household responsibilities and always up for a chat. I don't have a set date I need to move by as I'm currently living on college at La Trobe, but I'm wanting to escape the constant party culture. Don't get me wrong I do love a good boogy or festival now and again but the 24/7 constant noise here doesn't mix well with my studies. I'm interested in finding the right place with like-minded and friendly people, once that's found I'm able to move straight away. Looking forward to meeting my future house mates!
Hi there, my name is Bree. I'm looking for a new place to call home, from roughly 1 June (although this date is flexible). The suburbs I have listed as wanting to live in aren't set in stone, but I work full- time in Kew East and would like to stay close by. I'm mature for my age, easy to get along with, tidy, and a little quiet, although I do also like to be social. I work in admin, own a horse (don't worry, he isn't moving in as well), like to go to the gym, play computer games, watch Netflix, and sleep. I'd love to find a housemate/s with similar personalities/ interests, or who at the very least I could get along well with. I do tend to get along better with people a little older than myself. If you think I might be the ideal addition to your household, feel free to send me a message. :) Also very interested in teaming up!
- Chill, down to earth type of person. No drama. :) - Work full time + long hours in Retail Management. - Usually finish work, walk my dog, have dinner and a drink and watch Netflix. I'm not super exciting lol. - Don't mind a catch up and chat with my housemate and a few shared meals. But I do enjoy my own quiet time. - I've shared for approx 5 years in my life, so I know how to be a good housemate. - Respectful of other people's space and quiet time. - Clean and considerate. Like to keep a nice looking home. - Not a party animal. - Work long hours so usually out between 7am-7pm on work days. - Work every second weekend so can't have housemates up being loud tooo late on those nights unfortunately. * I have a good rental history. If you're interested in a teamup, we could find a suitable place together.
Hi my name is Bas. I am a 38 y.o male working full time in the security field (early mornings not late nights!) I lived with my partner for the last 13 years but unfortunately we have decided to amicably separate. We have a child but he will be staying with Mum (of course I would love to have him over to see daddy's new place wherever that might be) and I am looking around the north, central and eastern suburbs. At 38 I am particularly well house broken and I am looking for somewhere and someone stable to live with while I transition to the next stage of life. I'm keen to socialise with housemates over dinner / drinks or hanging out at pubs/outdoors. I would really like to see your place so feel free to contact me thanks.
Hi I'm Jess. I'm 28 years old and work as a client services officer at a financial planning firm. My interests include music, especially live gigs, the ocean, travel, animals and spending time with friends. I'm a fairly easy going person, like to keep things tidy and would consider myself to be quiet but friendly. I am a bit of a nanna during the week but always up for a dance and a drink on the weekend and my poison of choice is a vodka, lime and soda water and a tequila shot never goes astray. Cheers :)
Hey! My name is Kevin, and I'm currently looking for a new place to live after a break up (hooray..... not). I'm currently studying at La Trobe University, work in Animal Welfare and have pets! (A Border Collie, Hopping Mice and Geckos) My dog is well trained and does plenty of tricks :) I'm only in my first year of study so will be looking for somewhere for a decent amount of time. I spend most of my time studying, playing video games or looking after my animals. Feel free to message if you have any questions! Thanks!
Hey... I am Stephen.... After living in one home for 15 years, the owner has chosen to sell. Therefore, I am looking for a new home. I love to cook, enjoy a good conversation, I respect each others living space, am open to new life views, and most importantly, I am confident I will add character to your home. I am excited at the prospect of being your new housemate.
I'm from Germany (of Russian descent) and work as a part-time teacher in Bundoora. I am very tidy when it comes to house maintenance, openminded and respectful of other people. I am also a Christian and enjoy a good chat about "God and the World" with a great bottle of wine and some cheese! ;) I love literature, cooking for people, travelling/exploring, being outdoors and learning new stuff. I am that weird thing called "introverted extrovert", meaning I am happy to keep to myself, but also do enjoy having a cuppa or hanging out with people that I live with when an opportunity arises. ;) Oh, and I love cats!! So, if you happen to have one, this will make me a pretty happy girl!
Hi I'm 28 and male. Recently finished studying in Adelaide and am moving to Melbourne for full-time work in the CBD. I'm friendly, quiet and respectful and am after a quiet and respectful place to stay. I'm very easy to get along with. I play piano (free lessons on offer if you have one!), am into health and fitness/gym and love playing futsal/soccer. Ideally looking for a furnished place within 40 minutes of flagstaff station in the eastern or north eastern suburbs. I don't smoke (looking for a non-smoking place), don't do drugs and am vegetarian. Look forward to hearing from you!
My name's Natalie, I am a Floor Planner for estate agents and a university student at RMIT. I'm fun loving, pet loving, easy going and I pay my bills on time. I love to knit and be outdoors. I currently live in Eltham and am looking to move closer to the city.
Right now I'm taking a gap year in India, next year I'll be studying chiropractics at the RMIT Bundoora campus so I'd preferably like a place that isn't too far away. I'm a little shy and happy to keep to myself but friendly, easygoing, and I'm a decent cook. I am also clean and will happily do my share of work around the house. I love animals, especially dogs.
