Studying double major in Environments at MelbUni, I tend to spend long hours at library. So when I am home, I like to cook or read a bit. Not a party fan nowadays due to my schedule. Also work part time as barista in a coffee shop. Plus I love making people laugh so I am willing to have a healthy social communication with my roommates. Also I like to have a clean house, so I am up to help in household duties.
Hi, LOOKING FOR A HOME ...I AM VERY EASY TO LIVE WITH AND HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR... I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own bathroom, and I am very flexible with the location I am more interested in having a home rather than just a room. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot the film early 2019, I am in the process of raising the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours, I also pay my bills and rent on time. At the moment I will be writing from home so a study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio would be helpful but not a deal breaker as I am looking for an office this year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a 11 year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it's important that they have a little space and are safe. I am flexible with moving dates bathroom and budget. Cheers Peita:)
I am a non-smoker, and I look forward to live with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I don't mind living with cats, I don't mind living with people older than me as I look forward to listen to their experience of living. I take care of my own cleanliness and I don't mind of having a duty roster posted up for me if I were to become your housemate.
Hey! I'm Renz and I'm a recent university graduate from Adelaide who is relocating to Melbourne for work mid-February (1 year contract, full time). My work is situated in Abbotsford and I won't be bringing my car with me so I'm hoping to find a place close to a train station along the Hurstbridge or South Morang line. When I'm not at work, I enjoy being active by going to the gym or the dance studio (I'm a hip hop dancer, just if you're curious). Or if I'm in a lazy mood, I enjoy cooking/baking, jamming on my guitar or chilling out with a good movie/tv series. I'm very tidy, easy-going, respectful of people and their personal space, and always down to make new friends!
Hey guys, I'm an RMIT student who is looking for a place closer to Bundoora campus. I work in the city so I'm looking for a place that can act as a bit of a middle man between the two places either via public transport or just being closish (I can cycle). I tend to keep to myself a bit though I do have friends over every once in a wild (nothing over the top). I am happy to share meals and cook if that's what you want and I'm always happy to help you guys whenever I can. I'm a bit of a nerd and gamer but I'll try and keep it quiet. I also enjoy exploring the area, up for a good chat and happy to help. Pleased to meet you.
Hi, I am an 18 year old female, moving from Phillip island to study nursing at Latrobe and am looking for shared accommodation. I'm outgoing and love to have a chat but also enjoy keeping to myself. My hobbies are reading, swimming, tennis and cooking, but I also don't mind going out occasionally too. Looking for a person or group that's also laid back and easy going :)
I'm dependable, trustworthy, a little quirky, and honest (although it might take a little while for me to fully open up to people). I'm a quiet person in general but I'm also friendly and will become more talkative and excitable once I've gotten used to the people I'm around. I'll admit in my personal spaces I can be a small bit messy but otherwise I consider myself to be clean and organised. I'm willing to negotiate and compromise and would rather talk problems out than argue. My hobbies include reading, watching Netflix and anime, and a whole lot of drawing and painting, as well as playing console, computer and tabletop games. Also, and I'm not entirely sure how relevant this is, but i really love Japanese culture and language and so i can read and speak beginner-intermediate Japanese. Well, that pretty much covers it without giving an entire life story, ahaha. Please consider me!
I'm a 21 year old social work student and hospitality worker. Looking for a sharehouse with kind, tidy people. I'm a transgender person currently transitioning on testosterone - so I'm looking for housemates that are trans friendly! Thanks friends ♡
Moving back up to melb town after a few years living down on king island (tas) and am looking for a warm home and some good people. I’ve been working in outdoor ed, heading back north now to finish off my masters in teaching and jump back into youth work. I grow veg, indoor plants and sourdough when there’s a sunny windowsill, eat mostly veg and love to cook. Tidy and clean without being a nutter. Always up for a cuppa and a chat or a wander.
Hey! I’m looking for room mates who are wanting to move out in the northern suburbs. I work full time so I have the security to be able to pay rent, I am also interested in someone who is working and has financial stability. Preferably would like female tenants close to my age 18-28. I am a clean and quiet person but I don’t mind having abit of fun on a weekend every now and then. It would be good to get 1 or 2 extra girls together :) I think anymore will be too crowded. Message me if you’re interested and would like to get to know me! MUST want to move to either Epping, lalor, Thomastown, Craigieburn, roxburgh Park, reservoir, coburg, Fawkner, glenroy or Bundoora.
Well my names Kimberley, ive only just turned 22 years old and im originally been bought up in Doncaster my hole life but am currently living in Boronia, in a share house with a single mum and her 9 year old son,.i have two very loving harmless dogs that do currently live in Boronia also, they love human affection and LOVE kisses and cuddles. They adore the 9 year old boy i currently live with and smother him with kisses and affection even though hes very hyperactive and disruptive. I am really easy going, i get along with everyone, i have an obsession with keeping things around me clean as i do have OCD, i will always treat others with respect and there property and i hope to be given the same respect back. im currently unemployed, that's because ive been caring for my sick nan for the last year, but am currently on centrelink and DO get payed enough to pay rent and support myself, but am currently looking for work! Also in my spare time i like hanging out with mates, having a drink here and there, not to much off a party animal but am still at a young age. if you give me the chance to move in, I wont dare to disappoint!!
I'm a friendly, down to earth, self proclaimed comedian. I love my quiet time but am also always up for socialising. I love making new friends and get along with anyone from any walk of life! I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Aviation Management and love it! Prior to that I studied Psychology. I also work part time and have been at the same place for 7 years now - so I have a steady, reliable income. I'm a bit of a nerd in that I love computer games, playstation and binge watching Netflix series. Although I do not get to travel often, I love all things associated with it, hence why I am studying aviation. I loveeeee music, coffee and going to the gym (or at least attempting to). I play basketball once a week and am hoping to get a bit more outdoors-y this year and explore a little. I'm also a massive dog lover, so bonus points if you have a fur family member I can spoil. I have lived out of home for the past couple of years and love the independence. I am experienced in share housing and am always tidy, considerate, and respectful towards my fellow house mates. Though I like to think it'd be more of a home than a share house! Sometimes I do finish work around midnight, but absolutely make sure I am as quiet as a mouse when coming and going. Looking for somewhere long term, but can be negotiated if you have somewhere with a little less length of stay. Also happy to go on a lease if need be! Female household preferred.
Hello! I'm looking for somewhere new to call home. I have lived in sharehouses previously - I promise I clean up after myself and am not too noisy (though I am chatty). When I'm home I am partial to glass of wine or a gin, occasionally (attempt to) bake and have recently taken to (attempting) hand embroidery. I love weather-disaster movies. I'm looking for housemates who like a good chat and a laugh in a place that's home rather than just a house. I work fulltime and am usually pretty busy outside of work too. I don't have furniture or white good at the moment but am happy to make some purchases where needed. I don't smoke. Don't have pets. Love dogs. Avoid cats (allergic).
Hey I’m Patrick, but everyone calls me Paddy (no idea why). My friend Emma and I are moving out, and we're looking for a third person. We don't have a place yet but once we have a third person then hopefully we can get a place ASAP. A bit about myself. I have recently moved back down to Melbourne after spending two years up on the Sunshine Coast in QLD. I'm heading back to study my Masters in Teaching next year at ACU. I am currently working as a Paediatric Nurse at the Royal Children’s Hospital. I will be working casually throughout the next two years while I study. I am a sport fanatic and a passionate Carlton supporter. I love travelling (34 countries and counting), keeping fit, hiking, reading, cooking and a good Netflix binge. I am extremely social and love meeting new people. I am slightly OCD when it comes to cleaning so you’re guaranteed to have a tidy housemate. As much as I love a chat, I also enjoy my downtime. Although I promise not to be a hermit. That’s all from me. I like forward to hearing from you!
Hey there! I'm Kristel, 24, looking for a place in an inner city suburb. Been living in shared accommodation for over 7 years, pay bills on time, can respect people's privacy, but always up for a chat! I'm a Psychology graduate, but work full time in a customer service role in the city. I travel, I read, bit of a foodie, can bake, enjoy eating out, but I usually stay in and cook most of the time. I watch Criminal Minds reruns, with a side of SBS. And I gym (ish). Keen to look for a place to call home. I'm also interested in team-ups somewhere within the inner city suburbs, or anything on the lilydale/belgrave line (Blackburn to city) I come with my own furniture, a washing machine, and a whisk. Look forward to hearing from you! Kristel
We are both relocating from the sunshine coast for study which means we are mostly interested in having a roof over our heads. We're not really into the party scene but we do enjoy relaxing and having a drink or two. We would be using our house for study and a place to go between uni and work. We would consider ourselves clean and tidy, but laid back about little messes.
I’m 30, both work and study so keep pretty busy lots of the time, but am always down for a chat / drink when the opportunity arises. Doing my last year of a music degree this year, then planning to do a masters of secondary so I can teach high school music. Interests include movies, riding my bike around Melbourne and going out for food. Very chill and laid back - possibly too chill in some situations but in a sharehouse context I consider it a good quality. I do play guitar and get into music production, but I run everything through my computer so can easily switch to my headphones for quiet times. I have a fairly large desk to go with a double / queen bed so looking for room that is a decent size / borderline large. I also consider myself house-trained and value keeping my living space clean... :)
My name is Benjamin and I am 24 years of age. I am from Toowoomba in Queensland and have got a job in Melbourne near Mill Park. I have recently returned from living and working in London for 2 years, sharing a flat with other Australian’s. I believe I am a great housemate to live with as I am clean, tidy, easy going and respectful of others. I enjoy watching and playing sports, socialising with friends on weekends and love meeting new people on my many travels. Given the opportunity, I feel I could not only fit in to any household, but thrive and add to the dynamic.
(note - I don't own dog per the pic above; we're just good friends...) G'day, I'm Max. I'm 30 and work as a professional in the CBD (9-5 M-F). Have been living in Melbourne for 6 years since migrating across from Adelaide. I enjoy my sport (namely soccer, AFL (go the crows) cricket, tennis, whatever is on...) Home is a place for chilling out - random chats on the couch, or sitting quietly with a book are equally appealing depending on the mood. Weekends are variable depending on the season, from being busy with mates, to random travel, to simply sitting on the back porch with a G&T or three. I come with an extensive herb collection. Also a cherry tomato plant (well, three) that's just starting to spit things out. Big fan of getting outdoors and random camping trips. I keep fairly active, and ride my bike more or less everywhere, as well as play the odd social sport a couple of times a week. Have done my fair share of travelling. My last adventure was driving from Uluru to Darwin with a swag in boot. True story. Looking for people who are, laid back, easy going, reliable and cheerful. A sense of humour is a necessity (why live in a household without laughter?) Otherwise, just people who have their own shit going on but won't be a stranger and will partake in the odd Sunday barbie (/wine). GoT addicts are looked upon highly.
My boyfriend and I are looking for a short term stay (around 6 weeks). We both work full time during the week and have weekends off, which we usually spend time with friends out having food or a few drinks. We're both clean and very easy going. Both very sociable people but totally understand everyone needs there own personal space.
