I am a responsible 35 year old female looking for a room, or another person to start a sharehouse. Currently moving over from Perth so wont be able to move in until 6th January 2018. Will share with international male/female, students/workers etc I am financially stable, studying a Masters (Art History/Writing), looking for part time work. Arty type who enjoys drawing, watching films, tv shows, games, thinking/discussion. I also have a well behaved small cat named Thea. Prefer aircon, wifi, ensuite, close to public transport. Also to share with nice people that I am likely to get along with. I am clean, quiet and respectful of others privacy but also happy to hang out when I am free. Please contact me if you have a room or want to team up :)
My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. Here is my current situation: I am unhappy where I reside. Please don't get me wrong, the folks here are fantastic but it is incredibly expensive and it is isolated. I wish to be somewhere more centralised where public transport and amenities are more available, not to mention be closer to family and friends.
My name's Jordan and I'm a 21 year old creative from the Gold Coast. I studied Film at University and graduated in early 2016; I've since been living and working in Sydney. After over a year's production work, I've recently returned from a much needed Euro trip, where I spent a few months between Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam. I'm now in the process of driving down to Melbourne for work and am looking for a short term sublet, where I can settle in, apply for my own lease and prepare for the following working year. On my weekends I like to work on my own personal projects, taking photos, soaking up the sun in the gardens and exploring new places. I'm ultimately looking for a bunch of down to earth, open minded roommates who I can have a drink with and chat at the end of the day! Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hey there, I am looking for a clean place to stay where I can spend my downtime hanging out mainly in my room. I am happy and would be glad to socialise & hang out with you too. I am a fairly clean and adaptive person, I cook for myself most of the time and work in hospitality so I know the importance of keeping everything clean. Fast internet speeds are important to me as I spend most of my time on the web and am somewhat of an avid gamer. If possible, I would like an estimate of internet speeds or if that is not possible I would like to test speeds during ibspection. I can tend to be a little loud during the night but I'm happy to adapt and keep myself quieter during these times or even change up my sleep schedule some. Thank you for reading!
Hi! My name's Sam and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I’m a 29 year-old male working in tech support and studying physics at RMIT (not to be confused with psychics… I cannot tell the future, sorry in advance). I keep pretty busy during the week, but love to come home to hang out, share a meal (pumpkin pesto pasta is my specialty), have a few drinks, listen to some music or binge watch a TV series or two (currently obsessed with Stranger Things). I also apologise in advance for getting too emotionally invested in the footy. I’m really considerate and clean, especially of all the shared spaces in the house. I’ve lived in share houses before, so I’m pretty comfortable with all the unwritten rules of housemate life. Ideally, I’m looking at anything from $500-760 p/month. Location wise, inner city is good but mostly it’s about finding great housemates who can become great friends. If you’ve got a spare room, or know someone who does, get in touch. Cheers Sam
I'm an student/part-time worker looking for adventure. I come from a small city/large town on an island called Victoria. Not Victoria, Australia but Victoria, Canada. I clean up after myself, I wash my own dishes, hell I'll even vacuum and clean the washrooms if I have time because I kinda like doing that stuff. I'm looking to room for at least 4 months in Melbourne. I have 6ish years restaurant experience at 3 different places, and all the stupid drunk stories I can't remember until I get drunk and remember said stupid stories. Cheers, heres to good times.
Hello my name is Matt, I am moving to Melbourne from Brisbane at the end of December to work at the Austin. I will be working long hours. I like yoga, going to the gym, good food and good humour. I have a girlfriend and two dogs in Brisbane which I hope to go and visit once a month. Im respectful and easy going . If you think I would be a suitable house mate let me know. Matt
I'm 22, just about to finish my master of social work. I keep to myself a fair bit but am very friendly and responsible, will always do my fair share of the work. Am going to be very busy next year so can anticipate that most days I'll be out of the house. I'm currently in student apartments but need to move because I'm 24 days off not being a student anymore :) I'm a disability support worker currently but looking for social work jobs at the moment. I always pay bills on time :) Am mostly just looking for a place where we can be friendly but I'll also have my own space. Am also interested in any area in Melbourne really so let me know if you've got anything :)
Hi! I'm a Masters graduate working part time at a fun jewellery shop in the CBD while I save up money and organise a visa to live and work in the UK. I've lived in Melbourne since 2009, apart from the recent 6 months I spent travelling Europe. In my adult life I've lived in three seperate sharehouses with a number and variety of housemates. I'm a very neat and tidy person, always cleaning up after myself, and I prefer to live with people who are the same. I've also done a lot of housesitting, so I'm a bit of a professional when it comes to keeping house. I'm pretty quiet and don't like hosting parties, but I'm more than happy to be social when the focus isn't on me and/or when I have somewhere to retreat to (I'm not super anti-social but I'll admit to being a little shy if I'm not in the right mood). I'm not a fan of dogs but I like all other pets as long as they're happy and healthy. I'm also keen on gardening and keeping pot plants. I'd strongly prefer not to live with people who smoke at home.
Hey there, my name is Jodie, my partner and I are currently looking for a room to rent in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. I am 21 and my partner Beau is 22, we're both working and reliable, trustworthy people. We are very friendly and easy going! Also we are both very clean and tidy and understand the importance of respecting each others space. I am originally from New Zealand and have lived in Australia for 3 years. Beau has lived in Victoria his whole life. We have been together for over two years now and love life living here in Melbourne. In our spare time I love to go to the gym and Beau likes to play sports and spend time with his friends. I work for Vodafone and Beau is currently studying as well as completing an internship which he gets paid for. I'd love to chat to you more if you think we would suit what you are looking for! Thanks in advance, Jodie.
Hi Guys! My name is Leah and I'm a 25 year old nurse who is just returning after a trip overseas. I grew up in rural Vic but have in lived in Melbourne for a few years now so this isn't my first share house. I enjoy exploring the city and doing things with my housemates, but I also appreciate having time on my own. I am a pretty friendly and outgoing person who is always up for a chat over wine or a cup of tea. In my spare time I like finding a good local bar (double points if there is live music and/or a rooftop) to have a dance/drink at, going to things like comedy shows/music festivals/footy games or staying in for a Netflix binge sesh or a hilariously bad movie.
Hey I'm Ronaldo, I'm 26 and I work full-time at a bank (Don't hate me) and part time as an arm chair therapist. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with friends, good music, a few drink and some casual get rich quick schemes. I would generally like to move in with a tidy creative open minded bunch, possibly people who could help me improve my cooking skills of which I have none. Side note: dates are flexible and duration can be 6 months to a year. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Hey there, I'm a 38yo teacher recently returned from two years working in The Netherlands and travelling around Europe every chance I had. I have a 4yo hound called Billy, who keeps me moving and giggling. He's a staffy cross koolie. I like to swim, garden and get to the beach. Netflix is a winter weakness and white beers and G&Ts my summer achilles. Love to live somewhere with friendly people who like casual convos but happy to give lots of space too. I'm tidy, financially savvy and respectful. Cheers, Katy
Hey there! I'm from middle of nowhere Inverloch in South Gippsland, and have always lived on the coast. I'm looking for somewhere to live during my first year of University at Monash Caulfield. I need somewhere walking distance to public transport as I cannot drive (which on one note means I won't need space to park). I'll be studying Fine Arts and have a huge interest in the Arts, history and a bunch of other things. I'm vegetarian (but don't mind being around meat and whatnot) and can make a pretty good green curry if you're into that, I also tend to overestimate how much food/smoothie i'm gonna need so I'll probably offer you food pretty regularly. I like pretty much all kinds of music and am always ready to dance, but am also pretty quiet and spend a lot of time in my room in silence so if you're needing quiet to study I'm good in terms of that. I can tell you useless facts about things you didn't need and teach you how to kick butt (i'm only a red belt in Taekwondo but I still like to pretend i'm badass). I love British comedy, David Bowie, bad puns, art galleries and the colour yellow. I also don't smoke or have any pets, but don't mind being around those who do smoke, and adore pets! I'm currently working in an ice cream shop part-time and will likely be working part time for the duration of my stay.
Hey there, I'm looking for a place to move into in mid-late December. I work as an Outdoor Ed Instructor and I'm away most weeks on school camps but then also teach PE part time. I like chatting with housemates but also respect that we all need our alone time. I love the outdoors - I surf, snowboard, swim and go to the gym I love sports - I play and go to the footy, enjoy cricket and work the Australian open I enjoy quiet nights at home, cooking (inc baking!) and walking along the river and through the park :) I'm also a Christian and I'm passionate about my faith. I don't mind living with Christians or non Christians but just ask that you respect my faith. I would really like to be walking diatance to a train station or tram line. I enjoy some outdoor space to have a cup of tea and enjoy the sunshine. I've had chickens in the past and would love them again :) Ive also lived with super hairy cats and dogs and that's not my fave! Hit me up if you want to meet up :)
Hey! I'm an ex-struggling artist turned full time corporate minion. I'm looking for a space to write and make music to rekindle my joie de vivre. I enjoy catching films and gigs of all types of genres. Always up for a chat but am super respectful of your personal space as long as you are of mine. open heart, open mind. Ready to move out at any time that's just a snippet of the sick rhymes ill be throwing at you. Some experience in sharehousing/uni lodging so i do know how to maintain at least myself. Huge fan of washing dishes especially if you enjoy cooking.
Hey! Im Kyle, and I’m looking for some cool housemates, either one or more persons to team up and find a nice place, or move into my current place in Coburg. I work in property 9-5:30, with some late nights, so week nights are usually pretty quiet for me. On the weekends however, I love to go on road trips with my cameras and drone to see amazing things around Victoria. Other weekends I like to go for nights out with friends, and hopefully my new housemates! I’m pretty chilled, no fuss type of person 🤙🏽
Currently working part-time having just finished an engineering degree, but will be working full-time mid-January. I've been living in share houses for the past five years so have that down-pat, just keen to live closer to the city long-term and in a cosy place (ideally with a similarly cosy doggo). Always up for a cup of tea or a G&T and some banter, and otherwise keep to myself. Apart from that I'll usually disappear to go scuba diving on weekends. I keep it clean (and cook reluctantly), and am naturally an easy-going and relaxed person. Move in date is pretty flexible, so just message if you have any other questions.
My names Antionette everyone calls me Netti, Im 25 years old, currently working in a before and after school care service when Im not doing that i'm a performing artist/rapper and often do gigs around the place. Heya! I am a 20-year-old student from Auckland, New Zealand. I'll be in Melbourne for 6 months from the start of Feb doing an exchange for a semester at Monash (Clayton). Looking for a fun group of people to flat with for a semester. For most of my degree, I've had to be academic focussed but while over in Melbourne I really want to enjoy the social life and let loose on the weekends and explore the new city (love a good wine and a dance!). I love going on road trips, heading to see live music, and soaking up the sun. I consider myself clean, respectful and easy to live with :)
Looking for a relaxed household to join. I am a secondary teacher (Humanities/English/Politics) and recently finished my Masters of Teaching (Secondary) in June this year. I am currently working as a casual relief teacher and as an out of school hours carer/educator. I have also secured a full-time teaching position which starts in the new school year at the end of January 2018 - so I'm looking for somewhere a bit closer to school. I tend to keep myself pretty busy during the week! But when I do have spare time I like to go out socialising, see live music, go to the cinema, cook/bake, go a day trips etc. or relax at home with a book or Netflix and tend to my houseplants. I have share house experience and am house trained, considerate, clean, and respectful of other people space.
