Lived and shared houses for many years. Easy going, clean and respectful. Would like a place to call home and a housemate that would like to be a friend as well as doing their own thing.

Hello! This is Debjit Bhowmick (27) from Kolkata, India. I will be arriving in Melbourne with my wife Anwesha (24) on 26 April to pursue my doctoral studies from The University of Melbourne. We are friendly, respectful, tolerant people. We are non-smokers. We are always up for occasional chit-chats. We are clean and tidy, so you don't have to worry about the apartment getting messy because of us. We respect people's privacy, so won't be irritating you. We will be able to inspect or give an interview only after 26 April (if that is needed). We are in need of a place to stay. Your apartment could be our dream 'home away from home'.
Hey! I’m Jack! A 23 year old, full time working lad from Scotland living in Melbourne. My lease is up for my current apartment and I’m searching for a new place to stay for at least the next two months. Very easy going, friendly and clean. Respectful of privacy, always up for a laugh and know when to chill out. Also, I make pretty good fajitas. I’m looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers! Jack
24 y/o Brit making the most of a year in Australia! I am looking to move closer to my work in Hawthorn. I stay overnight at my work 2-3 times a week and am there every afternoon/evening Monday-Thursday but will be around Friday-Sunday. I am looking forward to getting to know sociable flatmates who are often around and want to hang out a bit :) I love travelling and seeing new places in Australia so some weekends I'll be away. I need a room until the end of August but can be flexible on dates. I have my own furniture if the room is unfurnished and also a bicycle which I would need to store outside somewhere. I won't need to use the kitchen that much as I mainly eat at work. Love pets. Happy to live with males or females. Low maintenance and chilled. Will clean and keep the place tidy. :) Would like to live with at least 2 others.
Hello! About Me: I'm an outgoing, creative, naturally social person who enjoys good conversation about almost anything and love a good "gossip" on current happenings. Left leaning politically with a keen interest in fashion, food and music. I'm the proud owner of two small fur babies (cats) and they have to come with me. They're indoor kinda girls (like mum) and mostly eat and sleep about the house. One is quite inquisitive and social. The other is shy, and may keep you company on the couch if she's not too scared. My social life consists of brunch dates with friends, op-shopping adventures, dance classes, Netflix binges and sharing a stories over a cup of chai tea and some tim tams. I'm straight edge, so that means no drugs, no smoking, no drinking. House Stuff: Looking for a bright, clean and tidy place somewhere in the inner north side of town. upto 250pw (flexible depending on utilities), but would prefer a monthly rental inc. bills. I'm Ideally looking to share with 1 or 2 people with outgoing personalities and individuals who want to create a happy social atmosphere with the occasional shared meals during the week. Similarly neat and house proud folks, as I'm big on cleanliness. Looking for people who have respect for people of all genders, races and sexual preferences. (a misogyny free home being a must!) My Stuff: I have my own bedroom furniture, more clothes than I should, a TV and retro sideboard (which can fit in my room) , but I'm completely flexible with furnishings. Have some home appliances, but anything not needed I can put in storage. Hope you have something suitable, please email me with info and available inspection times, I'm looking for something ASAP and I never flake on plans. Cheers! Chloé x
Hi! I'm Kat! a mid 20s Nanny who's originally from Newcastle in NSW so I come with a slight bogan accent and say the words "dude" and "man" an awful lot. I enjoy live music, Netflix binge watching, thinking I'm funny, astrology, solid banter and eating out cause I'm a foodie but terrible cook. I'm an open minded, very clean and tidy lil Cancerian who's looking for a home, not just a house. I have zero gender preferences and love a friendly and social but low-key household. Dinner parties, pub dates, romantic drives to maccas etc etc. Anyway, if I sound like someone you'd like to coexist with shoot me a message :)
Hi! I’m a 25 year old female from the US looking for a rental for June and July (could start as early as mid May). I’m clean, chill, like to socialize but also happy doing my own thing. I’m finishing up a backpacking trip/sabbatical with a class in CBD and will be in class 9-5 weekdays, and plan on exploring Melbourne and Australia as much as I can after class and on weekends! I love a good glass of wine, live music, anything outdoors, art, dogs, and some good conversations about life and current events (preferably over wine). Open to any neighborhoods since I’m not familiar with Melbourne as long as they’re safe, easily accessible to CBD, and preferably has some good happy hour spots. Let me know if you have any questions or wanna chat more!
Hi All I hope you are well. We are great house mates as we are considerate and understanding. We like to socialise at home but respect everyones space and way of living. We are quite quiet, very tidy and approachable. I work as a personal assistant and Neel is in sales. we need somewhere to move in to asap. please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss further. kind regards Angela
I am a hardworking English girl looking for a place to call home. I’m big into fitness so in my spare time I will be at the gym and working. I’m quite independent but do like to socialise to and chill out. I’m on the search for a room for myself. Looking ideally as close to CBD as possible because that’s where I work. I would like the apartment to be modern, clean and furnished ideally. I’m ready to move in as early as possible and can transfer bond and sign any written agreement for the transfer.
Hai! I work full time Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm, and gym at night. On the rare occasion that I'm home I'm tidy, quiet, pretty low key, and generally sleeping. I nap.... a lot! My personality is bubbly, happy go lucky and really crusiey about everything and definitely young at heart. Gym and the ocean are my biggest passions, and always am up for adventures! I don't have any pets, but would definitely love it if you did ☺ I'm looking to find a place to call home and not just a house. If parking is easy, than that's a huge bonus!! In regards to location.... I'd like to be in the inner city suburbs. The catch is though.... is that I’d like something pretty modern. I’ve done the whole vintage Victorian house in south melb, and now prefer modern, and my own bathroom. I've lived with guys and girls, so I'm pretty chill with who I live with. Just all about good vibes and a positive living space. :) :)
Hello! I'm Emily. I'm almost 29 years old. And, I will be doing post-grad coursework at the University of Melbourne starting in July. I'm so excited to be moving to Melbourne! About me: born in Alabama but lived most of my adult life in California, former U.S. Navy, love to: cook, read, ride and work on motorcycles (yes, you read that correctly), travel, listen to music, see plays/shows, watch movies, enjoy a good cup of coffee or glass of wine, and I'm slightly pilates obessed. I'm responsible, financially stable and independent, health-conscious (non-smoker, mostly vegetarian diet), respectful of privacy, clean and organized. 1) MOST IMPORTANT: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! PLEASE READ THIS IF NOTHING ELSE BEFORE MESSAGING ME. CARLTON, FITZROY, NORTH CARLTON, NORTH MELBOURNE, BRUNSWICK EAST, PARKVILLE and COLLINGWOOD. NO OTHER AREAS PLEASE! TOO FAR FROM SCHOOL FOR ME. Short walk/public transit commute to the University of Melbourne and near free tram zone. Would love to be in a location close to coffee, a great gym and shopping, you know all the good stuff. 2) I study at home, so I need my own private bedroom just for me with enough space for a desk too. And though I like to socialize occassionally, I am looking for a relaxing space with no more than 3 other flatmates total. More people equals more noise; that's just a fact. Ideally, a private bathroom, but willing to share a bathroom with 1 other person.Housing must have internet/internet capability and a laundry washing machine. Big, nice kitchen. Hopefully, some bit of communal garden, patio or outdoor space. Willing to go up to $400 a week for the right spot, but price must match quality. 3) My program is 1.5 years,so if I found the right spot, I'd be happy to stay longer than 6 months. Though I will not have any pets, I love animals! So, if you have a house-trained doggy or kitty, I'm totally fine with it. Would love for my housemates to become good friends. I ask that any housemates be respectful, responsible and clean up after themselves and, I will hold myself with the same standards. Thank you taking the time to read this and consider me! :)

Good lad, 20 year old Kiwi. I'm moving out of a flat in Preston, and starting a new job in the city at a marketing firm, working normal 9-5 hours. Looking for a place to stay at least 12+ months. I'm up for anything and flexible to work around different flat dynamics. So if you're looking for someone into board games and a jug of tea, I'll bring the English Brekkie. Or if you're about banter, getting on the Mojito's, and playing couch co-op games, I'll bring the white rum. And of course, I can be a total shut-in and just write a novel in my room, or listen to a podcast. Otherwise I love snowboarding, going to the pub, hip-hop, rock music, and motorcycles. Anyway, I'm mature for my age, low stress, and always get along with people - so let's sort something out.
Single 28 yr old non smoking female, no pets or kids. Quiet, clean, easy to get along with, respectful of other peoples property and privacy. Working full time Monday to Friday as a Pharmacy Assistant. Like to have a social wine with friends/housemates, will happily socialise with those I live but also will respect when privacy is needed. Not a party animal. My kind of party is a 3 hour nap and some retail therapy. Any other questions please feel to ask. I am wanting to move now as I moved from Tasmania 6 weeks ago and only temp boarding. I am looking for a private room, don't mind sharing a bathroom and it needs to be furnished (as I only moved here with no furniture)

Hey there! I've just graduated and I'm working full-time as a graphic designer. In my spare time I like to make the most of Melbourne's arty culture. I've been renting for the past three years and as a housemate I'm friendly, respectful and tidy :)
I'm a young guy working full time as a web developer in Fitzroy, looking for a fun inner city place with some cool housemates. I'm generally pretty laid back, and not much bothers me. I just want to live with fun people I can have a laugh with. I'm perfectly happy either chilling in my room for days on end or hanging out with people and being social. I'm super considerate, the worst thing I can think of happening is that my actions will negatively impact someone, so I'll generally do my best to make sure everyone is having a good time. I have two adorable 6 month old cats, Audrey and Wally, who are super loving and really clean. I'm vegan, but again I'm pretty laid back. As long as you're cool and respect my lifestyle I can roll with the punches. I'm also a musician, playing guitar, bass and keyboard, but aside from singing in the shower I play with headphones so don't worry about any loud 3am jams. Being a computer nerd, I come with my own maximum speed unlimited internet connection, and am happy to be the house IT department. I also come with a good fridge and one of those cube shelving/TV units from Ikea.
I like music, wine, coffee, art, museums, travelling, learning new languages, rock climbing, yoga, long walks, good food, playing the guitar, reading books, long chats with likeminded people, fluffy things ... amongst many other things. I am a software engineer and I spend a lot of time on my computer, or reading books, but I also like some social time - i would say I am an ambivert. My partner is a teacher based in Brisbane but will visit me often so It would have to be a couple friendly room (and house). LGBTQI+ friendly, obviously :) I am only considering properties with an ensuite or own bathroom thanks.
I am a professional working full time in the insurance industry also studying part time making the move from Canberra to Melbourne for work. I am clean and respectful of personal space but am also keen for a chat if the opportunity comes up.
