Hey everyone I’m an Australian girl who is looking for a room to rent in Brisbane, I work almost full time so you probably won’t see me around too much but when I’m home I love to cook, and socialise.
Three UQ students in last/second last year of Bachelor degree. We are friendly, cleanliness oriented and responsible people. We respect other people's privacy but love to hang out in free time. We are looking for places with at least 3 bedrooms for each of us.
I work full time close to the city as a truck driver, I work long hours during the day and go to the gym most nights so I'm rarely home during the week, I also work most Saturdays. I have had my own rental in Carina since moving to Australia 3 years ago, and am super tidy and independent. I'll be putting all my household furniture into storage but would be happy to use in a team up situation. I'm usually out and about on the weekend checking out new eaterys or beach/bushwalks. I'd love the master bedroom or my own bathroom if possible, I also need a small amount of garage space or somewhere secure and out of the weather to park my motorcycle. I'm looking to pay up to $275 including bills.
Hey, I’m a English female on a working holiday visa which expires at the end of January next year so looking for a place until then. I’m 26 so still like to party but not every weekend, I am a clean freak which can be seen as a good or a bad thing I guess! Ideal night will be watching a box set with a G&T in hand! I am ideally looking for a modern apartment in or close to the city as I will be working by Roma Station. Would prefer an apartment block with a pool and a gym but not a deal breaker. Apartment needs to be fully furnished. I am also an outside smoker so obviously other house mate needs to be comfortable with me smoking outside.
Hi! I'm Kirana, I'm a Psychology and French undergrad student at UQ from Indonesia :) I'm a tidy and clean person and I love cooking (I make mean Swedish meatballs ;). I'm pretty laidback and easygoing but rather quiet most of the time. I love music and animals. Never late to pay my rent, and I'd be glad to follow house rules. I'm looking for a place to move for the next semester, fully furnished (preferably with internet and bills included in the rent). Also would love a place with students like myself, preferably international students. Cheers!
I am doing my PhD on marsupial brain evolution in UQ (for the next 3+ years), so I need a place to stay. I play the guitar occasionally, have a road bike but will prolly be spending most of the time in the Uni. I'm an easy-going guy with plenty of international experience (have been living in the USA, Hungary, Bulgaria, UK and for the last 10 years in the Netherlands), love having a dinner with the housemates every now and then, like board games, craft-beer and nature.
Hi there, I'm Nancy- full time student studying bachelor of Biomedical Science at QUT. I'm very happy to see your renting ads on flatmates. My boyfriend (Steve who is also full time student studying IT at QUT too) and I are looking for the room near our work place .We are doing part-time job at Cafe 63 on Racecourse Road near your house so it would be convenient for us. Moreover, we are also tidy, clean and easy-going people, sometimes we would have food at work and rarely cook at home. Finally it would be cute as you can consider and allow for us to rent that room. Thanks in advance.
Hi my name is mauricio (37) born in usa and raised in colombia and now i live in panama where i have a small import company, came as a tourist planning to stay 3 months and looking for some courses of my interest here in brisbane, i am really easy going respectful and a clean person.
We are both quite busy(UQ Students) but also enjoy having quality time (and a drink) with our housemates. We enjoy cooking and love sharing a meal with our housemates. We adore pets - we have an exotic fish tank. We have numerous hobbies, are easy to get along with and love making new friends. Looking for either one large room or two smaller rooms. I do prefer having parking available.
Hello, I'm Rose, and I'm really looking forward to moving to Brisbane from the Tweed area. Working full time at the moment, but I'll be starting study at TAFE South Bank and a part time job (or two) when I move up. The suburbs I've listed are not fixed, but that general area would be fab. I don't know how to make this sound less cliche, but I'm a friendly, healthy, easy-going young adult who probably sits right on the line between introvert and extrovert. Keen to go out, keen to stay in. I'll be looking forward to meeting new friends (hopefully you!) and finding new awesome local places for a drink or two. I also want to join some local communities/Meet Up groups (D&D, a choir, volunteering, environmental, book club, whatever man). What I'm looking for in a place to stay is share accommodation with my own furnished room. I have a car, so I'll need either off or on-street parking. I am a clean person, and tend to look after my own mess, but if you would rather have a chore roster I'm cool with that. I expect reasonable cleanliness from my flatmates too. An important thing for me would be ample space in the fridge/freezer/kitchen cupboards as I tend to do my cooking for the rest of the week on the weekend in one big go. I want to feel safe in my place. If there will be strangers around a lot I'll want a lock on my door. I'm cool with parties every now and then, but not every week. Flatmates that like to chat and hang out are a big plus :)
Hello! My brother Josh (18) and I (22) are full time students at UQ. We are both clean, friendly, no fuss type of people who are looking for somewhere affordable and close to buses. We are both fairly quiet housemates who can keep to ourselves and won't be hosting parties every weekend, but are also looking for housemates we could be friends with. We are independent, adaptable and accepting people and will respect your personal space. I have all the basic, necessary furniture (except for your own bedroom) but are happy for you to bring some of your own. I also have a friendly cavoodle called Rudy, so I'm looking for a house that has a fully fenced backyard and housemates who love dogs. I have lived in share houses before so I know how to share and respect space. We aren't particularly outdoorsy-adventurous people but don't mind if you are. We both study in the humanities field, and are fluent in sarcasm. Feel free to ask any questions!
Really easy going and friendly, ideally looking for a female housemate who loves a mixture of being fit and letting her hair down! I live a fairly busy lifestyle during the week between work and training, but on weekends I'm always down for brunches, socialising, or even going out. Currently working part-time (full time hours) in hospitality, though beginning uni in February (nursing)! Am only new to Brisbane, so having a housemate I could become friends with would be fabulous. Look forward to hearing from you Xx
Relaxed friendly clean. Like art, sports, music, gardening and pets. I'm pretty easy going but not an early bird. Like to cook maybe share a few dinners and glass of wine. Ilike to paint, garden and swim in my spare time. I'm originally from Melbourne and moved to Brisbane 2 yrs ago. I have a 17 yr old daughter who would visit a few times a yr. I love all sports especially AFL and enjoy going to see live music. I also have a beautiful 10yr old dog , Samoyed x golden retriever . She is very friendly well trained and generally just loves company and to just hang out and watch the goings on of the house. Would love a chilled vibe with no dramas with honest and respectful and clean housies. I enjoy my own time but would also like to live with others that are up for a chat at times. Prefer min 6 mths. Looking for somewhere that feels like home. Looking to move ASAP. short term or trial arrangements ok if willing to have a dog. Apartments ok too. Cheers Rachel and Lucy
A clean, quiet, polite and friendly guy from the Sunshine Coast. Social but respectful of privacy. Moving to Brisbane for University next year. Have guaranteed employment and can provide proof of it. Very tidy, with plenty of experience cleaning so I know how to maintain an area. Chill and laid back but a hard worker. Will have no problems doing my fair share of chores, as I can clean and cook. Not a party animal but do occasionally go out. Seeking an unfurnished room as I have all I can need including a mini fridge, vacuum cleaner, kitchenware and appliances.
Easy going dude, who likes to socialise but normally go out. Have a girlfriend who I spend a lot of time with. I am tidy and respectful of people’s space. I enjoy friendly banter and a good laugh, happy to help attempt cook. I have a smallish dog who is very cute and protective of her home. Just looking for a house mate or a couple of house mates who are relaxed and keen to have a laugh. Text me if you want to chat about finding a house or have a house you think I’d fit into
Hey hey! My name's Ellie and I'm a super chill chick looking to move into a sharehouse at the end of November :) I'm studying environmental science full time at UQ as well as working part time, and I'm originally from Melbourne. Fave things include going to festivals, travelling, coastal day trips, yoga, cooking, op shopping and film/photography. Looking to move in with people that share similar interests + that love socialising (bc I do love a few bevvies) but who also appreciate downtime :)
Hello! I'm a science student from Singapore, currently a full-time student in UQ. I'm looking for a place to move in in January 2018. I like my space but do like to interact and socialize. I'm cool with teaming up and hopes to find a place that is comfortable, and most importantly within walking distance to UQ.
I'm friendly and easy to get along with, respect others privacy, like a relatively clean house and enjoy the occasional drink or two with dinner. I am looking for a place within walking distance to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre or somewhere close to a train station. I am also pretty keen on teaming up with a few peeps to somewhere new (don't have furniture though). ps. a/c is a must have :)
Hi, My name's Paige, I'm 23 years old and recently moved to Brisbane. I work full time, Monday - Friday doing IT in the city. During the week I like to keep pretty quiet with work, the gym and cooking. On weekends I like to go on adventures - camping, kayaking, mountain bike riding, skating or basically anything outdoors.. and wine, always wine. I have a 4 year old staffy x rescue pup named Malakai, he is an incredibly well trained and chilled dog that does not need much room. He spends his days sunbaking or following you around the house. I'm looking to rent a room in a share house, granny flat / studio or team up with others to get a place, preferably no more than 20 minutes from the city due to work and the gym. I am tidy, relaxed and looking to live with like-minded, gay friendly people who like dogs or even have your own!
