Hey. I grew up close to Brisbane. I work as a full-time aviation engineer, after taking a break last year travelling overseas. I'm currently looking for another sharehouse for 6 months or more, as the one I'm in at the moment is disbanding. I'm interested in many things, including other cultures, travelling and parkour, for which I am an instructor (I'm happy to explain what that is if the name means nothing to you). I appreciate a clean living environment, in the style of: If it needs cleaning, make it so (also open to a roster system). I'm quite easy going, and have had a lot of experience living with other people of all types in the last year. I think that having a good-natured and friendly relationship with your housemates is important. I'm not the best cook in the world (there's this one guy :D), but I like to cook and learn from others. Thanks for reading. Josh
Hi! My name is Rasmus and I'm a biomedical engineering student from Denmark, doing a semester at Centre for Advanced Imaging at UQ from september till december. I'm a friendly, easy going person who enjoy new experiences and meeting new people while occasionally having to close the door and just be me for some hours reading a book or watching tv shows. I don't make much of a mess in my room or in commonareas . I like to go snokeling, diving (need a brush up) and surfing (Only ever surfed in cold water, and still a rookie). For exercise I go to the gym, swim and run a bit. I also very much enjoy having a beer or drinks whilst playing board games or a full on night out.
I'm very chilled and easy going. I like having a chat after work and enjoy sharing some meals and a glass of wine on the weekends. I look for a quiet place as I am doing my PhD and I like to sleep well for the next day.
Hey! I'm French but currently studying in England and am coming to the University of Queensland for a year on exchange, where I will be contributing to a research project in Neuroscience. I have lived in five different countries, and love travelling yet have never been to Australia so am very excited to explore the city and its surroundings. I am very sociable and outgoing, love meeting new people and hope to make the most out of Brisbane! As I have been sharing flats/rooms for several years now, I do however know how to stay clean and respectful. I am hoping to find a place near central Brisbane with good connections to the St Lucia campus.
Hey! Im a student studying naturopathy in the city and working part time, so im looking for a place thats social but also a little more tamed during the week when we're all busy with work and study! im down for food, hikes, and going on adventures! would love to come into a house to meet similar people :)
I am a full time student at QUT studying IT. I easily get along with people and usually keep to myself during busy study days. Tidy, Vegetarian, Non-Smoker Looking for a 6 month stay or maybe even 1 year Not much of a party animal, so i prefer a quite and friendly place to live in but don't mind doing something with the housemates over the weekends
Young couple keen to find another couple to live with on the southside but close to the CBD. One of us studies while the other works in the film industry. Keen on weekend adventures but can be quiet and respectful when needed. Always up for a social beverage and we love doggos. After a house or townhouse not an apartment.
Hi, my name is harry, i am a student at QUT currently living in Brisbane looking for a place closer to the city and Uni. I would like a place around $180-$230 a week. I am studying a business & creative industries degree. I am easy going, spend most of the time during the day working/studying of some kind. Enjoy a good drink at the end of the week. I love music playing the saxophone and producing myself. I also like to do graphic design and visual art (painting). I have friends of all types and get along with most people pretty easily. Prefer to live with people that don't mind having a chat and don't just live in there room. I often cook for my self with leftovers and clean up. Other interests of mine include gaming, entrepreneurship, drinking, animals and martial arts. Please contact me if you have any questions
Hi there! I'm an ambitious, hard working 19 year old who works in production at the Mater Hospital. I work 25 hours a week working evening shifts mostly. I love food and cooking and appreciate a decent glass of wine. On the other hand, I also appreciate my own time and space. I'm very clean and I pick up after myself. I have the basic furniture and a brand new fridge. Would rather something with my own bathroom but I'm open to compromisising!
I'm a French student in an Agronomy engineer school. In September I'll start a gap year mainly to travel and figure out which profession I want to do once I'll finished studying (not that easy). In Brisbane I'll do an internship of 6 months on an agronomy research program. That's why I'm looking for a place to stay until the end of Febuary 2018. I'm an easy going and clean person who likes cooking, reading and hanging out. I loves travelling and discovering new places, meeting new people.
Hi! I'm Alejandro. 23yo. I'm tidy and responsible, sociable, can cook up to some degree, love music and somewhat play guitar. I'm not a party person, but I can enjoy having a drink from time to time. I'm a nice person to live with, or so I've been told! I'll be working at UQ for 4 months and starting a PhD on January 2018. I would love to stay for a long time, but as of today I only have the first four months 100% confirmed. Looking for a place to stay and find friends! Hope we can have great moments together! PS: I won't have an Australian number until at least August 26th, so it would be better if you message me
I am looking to rent in St Lucia, as next year I will be a masters (postgraduate) student at UQ. I am looking for a 2 bedroom house or unit that is spacious (max $350/week). I am clean, quiet and respectful as a roommate and I am looking for someone similar to rent the house with me. Preferably female and a postgraduate student.
Hey, I'm very clean, organised and super reliable. Also, I'm a calm person and very easy to get along with. I love to cook and greatly enjoy books, music and movies. Parties are not really my thing though. What brings me to Brisbane? - I'm a 22-year old student approaching the end of my masters degree. From october to the end of march I'm going to be doing a research internship at UQ and since I'm not a local, I'm looking for a place to live. A room in a shared house with 2-3 flatmates or a small flat for myself located close to the UQ campus would be perfect. Preferably, the room should also be furnished, because I'll be flying in Oct 6th and won't have any furniture in Brisbane. That's because, in fact, I'm from Germany. Despite me featuring an unusual accent, english communication really shouldn't be an issue though. Quite the contrary I hope! I'm so looking forward to getting to know you and your city! Cheers, Felix
