Hello! Bit of a long story, sorry for the info overload but I like to be upfront so we can both find a good match for living! MY SITUATION: I have mainly been based in Canberra for the last 10 years in between traveling. I am a youth worker but usually work a few different jobs (in hospo or retail as well as youthwork) to keep me entertained but I am at a bit of a career cross road atm. I plan to study Events at TAFE next year (I can do this in Canberra or Wollongong) so if I find the right fit house wise I would like to relocate to The Gong as I am pretty over Canberra! (I am originally from Bega/Merimbula area so a coasty at heart) So in short next year I will be working and studying (And new to town) My move in date is flexible (From Nov 1st) but I’d like to be well settled in by start of Feb 2020. MY IDEAL LIVING SITUATION: Would be with 1 other person in a 3 bedroom house so we have a spare room for guests/study or arty things. (But a 3rd housemate or a 2bedr place would be ok too 😊 ) I don’t want to pay more than $200 a week because otherwise I may as well get a mortgage haha I like a neat house with not too much clutter, nice décor and lots of plants. Matching furniture seems to mater so much more to me than it did in my 20s haha Having said that, it doesn’t have to be expensive, I always buy second hand furniture and white goods, I love a good Gumtree and Kmart bargain!!! Some would call me a neat freak but I wouldn’t say I’m OCD, a weekly house clean (vacuum and clean bathroom) is my expectation. Age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity are not issues for me as long as we get along and have a welcoming tidy, happy home 😊 I’d like to live reasonably close to TAFE NSW in North Wollongong but I’m flexible on suburbs, I don’t know the area that well. (I just listed a few that look close on Google maps haha) Happy to team up and look for a place or move into an existing place if I find a good match. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I’m more likely to have friends over for dinner or a cup of tea than a big piss up, so if coming home drunk on week nights at 3am is your thang sorry I’m too old for that haha (having said that I will have a big night out once in a while but not a weekly thing anymore) MORE ABOUT ME: I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans but not essential. I like cooking and would be happy to share a meal from time to time with my housemate 😊 Bit of a hippy….. but the kind that showers haha Trying my best to be environmentally conscious! Bit of a shit stirrer, love some good banter. Love music and drinking tea (I come with a large tea collection!) play a bit of guitar and just started trying to paint. Don't smoke and rarely drink these days but don't care if you do (as long as smoking isn't inside) Racists, homophobes and liberal voters need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything! I will be in Wollongong 20th-25th Oct if you would like to meet/ look at places, happy to face time before then.
23 y/o dancer. I love travelling and road trips, I won't turn down a good festival, a big fan of all types of live music. I'm pretty easy going, always up for a laugh and a bevy. When I'm not training or at work you'll usually be able to find me with a book by the beach, sewing, binging documentaries or failing to cook something I seen on instagram. I'm tidy and respectful, I work late but promise to keep quiet coming home. I do have a smol snake that lives with my ex, I'd love for her to be able to stay with me in my room but completely fine if that can't be arranged. Not looking to move into a party house.
hey! I am looking to start Uni next year at UNSW and I am hoping to take my just under a year old standard poodle with me. He loves all people and dogs and has a great nature. He is De-sexed and trained and is a delight to be around. He has always been an inside dog and sleeps on my bed every night. I would only be looking to move in I would say around December/January and it would only be my dog and I. Let me know if you think this could work and if there is anything further you need! Thank you:) I grew up with four older brothers and have never lived more than ten minutes walk from the beach. I love both the chilled and not so chilled scene, especially when there are dogs around, and I'm always down for a laugh and a chat. I love music and travelling, hiking and exploring, long road trips in a decked out 4x4 in search for a cool place, and I love taking photos. I have been taking surfing and skating footage for a bit and I love it. So if you're into that I'd love to tag along. I am a very social person, but also like to have my own time. I'm looking for a chilled out space surrounded by cool people that have fun, but I also need to study and will be working casually. I am looking for a place with house mates around the same age and stage. If this sounds like a fit for your place I'd love to get a message. Thanks:)
I'm 25, and work full time. I’m looking for a housemate to team up with and co-sign a rental, hopefully somewhere close to the beach. I love cooking, exercise, indoor plants, being creative and exploring the outdoors. I’m pretty easy going and would like to find a housemate who wants to be social, but also enjoys their own space as well. I’ve lived in a number of share houses and really value someone who is clean and tidy. Would love to find a house and make it a home. Given that work is stressful, I like to chill during the week and be more social on weekends. I'm looking to move mid November but can be flexible. Hit me up if you think we’d be a good fit! *I'm looking for a place with parking space, BIW and plenty of sunlight*
Hi I'm Nick. Looking for a newer apartment/villa/unit due to allergies / sensitivity towards smells such as mould, Old carpet. So must be fairly new building. Parking spot essential. I'm Respectful of personal space/items, Friendly and clean. I very rarely drink, Non-smoker, (Vegan. Not fussed if you aren't. I do it for personal health reasons. Won't eat your leftovers ha. I like being active going out to do things. My partying days are over I'm an ex dj. I'd rather chill at home watch Netflix / learn piano don't worry I'll wear headphones so no noise. Looking for an easy going genuine room-mate/s who's also into living a healthy lifestyle!
I'm Jordyn and I'm a 20 year old Educator at a preschool. I currently live at home but am looking to move out and find my own place. I'm clean and tidy, I work full time so I'm barely home and I'm easy to get along with.
I’m a 33 year old female with a 12 year old daughter who I have during the week and she spends the weekend at her dads. We have recently arrived in Wollongong after 19months of traveling around Australia. I am keen to find a room in Figtree, Mount Ousley or Kiama as the local schools look great 👍 My daughter and I will be out everyday as she will be at school and I will be at work. I have a job working as a cleaner so I’m very good at cleaning 👍. I don’t have a boyfriend because I don’t want one at this point in my life. I am hoping to get a large room and pop two single beds in there for myself and my daughter. My daughter and I are very easy going, we will likely fall in a heap after school and work so will likely have dinner then watch Netflix and head to bed. Both of us have no problem sleeping with noise so it’s fine if the other flatmates stay up late chatting/listening to music. I imagine I’ll spend my weekends doing laundry and house chores as well as going for walks and hitting the beach. I hope you consider me for your room 🤞🏼 Thanks Wendy
Hi, I just moved into Wollongong. I work as an Accountant full time with a firm in the CBD area. I'm interested in getting a good place to live in. I'm very social and easy going. I love soccer & basketball and I look forward to joining a soccer club here soon , love the outdoor lifestyle here and a well deserved beer. Cheers!
