Hi there, My name is Ryan and I am 33 years old. I am looking for a new place to call home, as currently I have been living in a big modern house on the north side of Brisbane for the last 5 years with a great rental history, and have been the head tenant with most of the responsibility, and own most of the furniture. Our lease is coming up shortly, and I would like to move somewhere more central, whilst not paying an incredible amount of rent. Hoping to pay less than $220/week including bills. I am open to teaming up with someone to move into a town house or finding a nice granny flat etc too. I am looking to live with either 1, or max 2 other people. I can also provide furniture and appliances (couches, fridge, microwave, plates, bowls, pots and pans, cutlery, dining table, chairs, desk, Balinese furniture, outdoor table, other appliances etc), but if not that's ok too as I can simply sell or store them elsewhere. I have a very well trained, friendly 10 year old male maine coon cat who I would love to bring with me. He is mostly a lazy indoor cat, likes his sleep and doesn't mind other furry friends. We are best of buddies and have been through a lot together, and it would be great to live with people who would also enjoy the company of a mini tiger :) I have recently been working as a warehouse assistant, and also study business and IT on the side. I also receive government help as I do have a disability, which would not affect my ability to live with someone else independently. I am hoping to find something relaxed with little to no dramas, judgements or arguments. A place with a decent sized room, air conditioning (just for the hot periods, and not necessarily in the room itself). My cat is used to wandering outside for the odd walk around the yard so I would also prefer to live somewhere that has a backyard/courtyard. I am the kind of guy who is social with his housemate/s, but can also as easily keep to myself. I would prefer to live with friendly, supportive people who don't take living situations too seriously. I am indeed responsible, respectful, caring, open, very clean (dislike mess), honest, and reliable. What I am not into is drinking copious amounts of alcohol (the odd glass of spirits is ok), smoking (but do not mind if you do smoke), or constant partying. These days I am more into social events, lots of exercise and the gym, self development, watching a good movie, meditation, reading, gardening, nature or heading to the beach. I am also vegan. If you like the sound of me, please send me a message as I am keen to find my next long-term house mate/s and home to be. I have not provided my mobile number as I would prefer to build rapport over message first, and then chat on the phone :) Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you, Ryan
Hi guys! My girlfriend and I are looking to move out around the north of Brisbane, preferably closer to Toombul/Nundah area as it is super convenient for my girlfriend to go to ACU. She is from France and will be finishing her Bachelor degree at ACU and I work for a mechanical engineering place. We also have a young border collie puppy with us so we will require some yard/courtyard! We are super tidy and respectful. When we are home we like to spend our time by watching Netflix or cooking some delicious food. But we try to go out as much as possible to the beach or somewhere nice to chill out. We love chatting to other people but also know how to give people privacy. We don't smoke and don't drink (that much), maybe just a drink or two now and then. Please don't hesitate to message me if you are interested!
Hii! I'm currently living and working in the Gold Coast. I will be a full time student soon as I just got accepted to QUT! Looking to move around Kelvin Grove or even a bit further but is easily accessible by public transpo as I dont drive... yet 👀. Im pretty chill, easy going and will keep shared space tidier than my room. Although I am not some one who is anal about cleanliness, a clean kitchen and bathroom is important to me. So I am looking for a place that doesn’t mind being kept decently clean through collective effort. Other than that, I enjoy eating, drinking and a good chat so I hope to be friends or we can strictly just be roomies—whatever floats the boat! Move date is flexible altho looking to move before the semester starts in February 19. So hit me up!! pls. 😚
Outgoing down to earth English guy with a 9 month old house trained puppy! Work full time and go to the boxing gym after work most nights, out and about on the weekends exploring, hiking or going to the beach! Clean & tidy.
Hi, The lease on my current apartment has ended and i'm jumping at the opportunity to live with some interesting new people and make my commute to work a little easier. I work as a designer at a local garment printer four days a week and fit in some photography work on the side for an online journal. I'm interested in living with professional creatives, but I would honestly enjoy living with people who are productive and passionate about whatever they're doing in life. I like to keep a clean communal area (which shouldn't even have to be said) though my own space will fluctuate from cluttered to ocd clean. I spend most of my weekends with my girlfriend and/or catching up with friends. In my downtime I read, take photographs, take care of my plants, play games or draw. - Patrick
I am very easy going and relaxed, love a clean and tidy house! I work in safety and security at lady cilento hospital and enjoy the outdoors especially scuba diving as I am completing my assistant instructors certificate! Dream is to be a cop which I’ll be continued to apply for!
34 years young working as a nurse. Awesome sense of humour! Love horror movies, keeping active and having a good laugh 😊 I will admit I do swear a bit..thought I'd add that in so I don't offend anyone! Love the footy and UFC 😊I'm not the best at cooking but happy to learn and become the next Gordon Ramsay! I love watching sport and love the footy! What else? As a nurse I'm tied to the shift work life (damn night shifts!!) but I have got the art of the tip toe down pat! I also love animals so no probs if u already have any at ur place 😊
Hi All :-) My name is Aleks and I work in the CBD as a full time working professional. I work Mon to Fri and am not home during the day. Some weekends I will also be down on the GC since my parents live there. I have been living by myself for the last 6 months and am looking to start a share home with another flatmate or 2 if the place is right! At this stage I’d prefer fenald flatmates. Or male and female flat mates if there are 2 others :-) I have lived with others for years and am respectful of others people’s personal space, and pay rent and bills on time. Would be great to find someone down to earth, friendly, happy to share housework responsibilities and who is not a massive party animal as I wake up early to head to work :-) On weekends I’m happy for people to have friends or family over! I have some furniture and white goods that can go into a new place. My current lease ends on 22 March, but I am flexible with dates before (as I will need to move out before this date for cleaning) and after.
Hello, my name is Brittany! I'm looking for somewhere to live that is fairly quiet, clean and close to public transport and an all female place or almost all female place. I just finished Year 12 so I don't work at the moment but I am looking for a job and I'm looking into tafe. I enjoy reading, watching movies, art and animals. I am shy so I tend to keep to myself and I'm definitely not a party person. At the moment the most I can afford is $150 including all bills.
I’m Bek, I’m working part-time, but do full time hours as a manager. I am laid back, sociable and like to have a few drinks on some weekends, but do enjoy just relaxing by myself after shifts. I like to have things clean and tidy. I usually spend my days off with friends & if not just relaxing. I love making new friends & meeting people. I am happy to move into an already shared home, but have also been looking at properties to rent starting a new share house. If that interests anyone let me know! I always have my rent & bills paid on time. :)
I’m clean & tidy, respectful of people’s personal space! I do enjoy a family social dinner with housemates and a wine or 2 on the weekends but also like my time on my own! Looking for a fun and creative household to join! I have two Boston Terriers who are inside/outside dogs and love being social
Hi I’m Mitch, I’m an 18 year old looking to find my feet in Brisbane. I finished studying at nudgee college last year as a boarder from Toowoomba. So now I’m currently trying to make the move from Toowoomba back to brisbane. I enjoy living a healthy active lifestyle. Many of my interests and hobbies are sports such as cricket rugby league and basketball. I consider myself to be chilled out and a good bloke. I am very respectful of others property and of others privacy. So if any of you guys can help me out I’d love for you to help me find my feet. Thanks a lot
Hi future housemates! I am moving to Brisbane in February. I'm a physiotherapy student studying my 4th and final year! I will be working as a physiotherapist in hospitals around Brisbane finishing my uni clinical placements, as well as a gymnastics coach. I am a friendly, upbeat person, always up for a chat, a Neflix/Friends/Grey's Anatomy sesh, a casual glass or two of wine and maybe a fun night out, but I also like my personal space. I like going to the gym, cooking, shopping, exploring, or going to the beach. I am always respectful, mindful of my fellow housemates, clean and tidy. Nonsmoker, no children, no pets (but I love dogs) I have a great previous rental history and have done the whole house share thing so the do's and don'ts. Looking somewhere to live somewhere $200-250 close to the CBD/North of the River with a nice homely feel. I would prefer a housemate/s to be of similar age, female or co-ed. I will be moving to a new city so and don't know anyone so being able to build a friendship and a home not just somewhere to sleep would be an added bonus! Furniture wise I have a fridge, some bedroom furniture, TV and a heap of kitchen stuff. The ideal place would be a nice apartment/house, with my own room big enough to fit a Queen bed and own bathroom, AC, parking, close to public transport, a balcony perfect for drinking wine on and a supermarket nearby.
I'm the perfect housemate as I'm never home. I'm always doing something to keep myself busy. I work full-time as a physiotherapist Mon-Fri, I love keeping fit so Ill either be at the gym in the morning or afternoon. I enjoy surfing so I head up the coast most weekends and I don't mind the odd social drink. Additionally I have an unconditional love for coffee so I'm constantly trying new cafes around Brisbane. All in all but I'm a genuine and down to earth guy who is very approachable and always keen for a chat.
Hi there, looking to move towards brisbane for work, my pooch and i are fresh up from Melbourne. Im a 33 yo tradesman, who dabbles in photography in my spare time, enjoy a movie or three also. Kobie is a 6.5yo black lab who enjoys lounging around outside all day catching up on sleep. Most nights we go out for a swim or a walk after i get home from work. Anything else you like to know, feel free to contact me :)
Hi I'm Pru. I'm 35 but try not to box me into ur preconceptions of what 35 year old woman ought o be because as a general rule, I'm an exception to average. I have pets. Love animals n need to live with ppl that at least like them. Im honest, trust worthy, will pay my tent in my payday... ine of the most genuine ppl ull ever meet. Caring, considerate type. Had my wild days so i wont be having any parties but i dont mind if u do. I love old cartoons, philosophy, art.... am an absolute trekkie. I pretty much study topics of interest in my spare time. I need to vacate my current home by the end of month as it is being put on the market. Drop me a msg if u r too or have a room/property. I understand that most of u would like to find a fifo worker, full time worker or student. I understand , who wouldnt wanna rent a room to someone thats never around. I would urge u to think about the ethics of this though. If ur charging half the rent then is it really right to exclusively look for someone that wont be there. Its one thing if u wanna pay half n devide the other half between 2or3 people ... but i put it to u that most of u just want to share ur rent, not ur property. Think outside that incredibly small box. Swear I'll scream if i see one more ad that reckons their home is perfect for a fifo worker. What does that mean? Great place to live if ur never there? lol
I'm a 21 year old female studying a Bachelor of Education at QUT KG, while also working full time at St Pius OSHC, Banyo. I keep a clean kitchen, and bathroom but don't mind if you're a little messy. I love fun nights out or easy Netflix nights in. I'm a fun loving friendly person who is looking for nice, friendly people to move in with :)
