Hey all! We are an American couple URGENTLY seeking a place to live! Our move out date is March 1st (YIKES! I know!) Jakie, "speaking" here, I am a freelance photographer, working casually in hospitality, and my partner Joey is a PhD student at QUT studying submarine volcanic eruptions. We are both easy-going, relaxed people, who like to have fun and meet new people. We have a grocery-getting, coast-trip mobile that would like a space to park (on or off-street is fine with us.) We like taking weekend trips to the Sunshine & Gold coast, having movie/tv (harry potter, steven universe, game of thrones, etc.) nights in, and cooking nearly everyday. If we sound like your cup o' tea, hit us up! We need a place to live ASAP and are willing to move in as soon as tomorrow! Cheers, Jakie & Joey
I'm a 25 year old christian woman volunteering 2 and a half days a week as a college receptionist, and some Saturdays and Fridays for a special needs organization, as I seek part time employment. In my spare time i like to listen to theological podcasts and study Gods word and theology. I like to also catch up and fellowship with my church friends as I am actively involved in my church. I do enjoy the outdoors when the occasion arises, however in recent years due to back and hip problems, I take it a bit easier. I own a very cheeky and affectionate indoor cat (he lives in an outdoor large cat cage most of the time which can fit in a back yard without been in the way). I am clean respectful, quiet and tend to keep to myself and value privacy. I rarely drink and I don't smoke. Parties and late nights are of no interest to me. I love children and nature. I seek to rent for up to a year or more with like minded females preferably no more than 2, who love and allow pets, have christian values and seek to communicate well and value privacy and space. Bills included in the rent price. I'm also open to teamups, but prefer to avoid this. I would like to also be provided with a rental tenancy agreement form upon tenancy.
Hello there! My name is Becca :) I am a 25 year old student who has just begun a Masters of Dietetics at UQ (evidently, I reaaaally enjoy food and cooking). Between this and work, I generally lead a pretty busy life and am home similar hours to an office-worker. While I do have a tendency to hermit myself during the week while I'm in study/exam mode, I am still undoubetedly a sociable lass who enjoys a chat, a Netflix get-together on a rainy Sunday, or a nice, quiet wine on a Friday afternoon. I have a partner-in-crime (my dog, Pablo), who will evidently be needing to relocate with me. He is a totally loveable little goofball of a staffy - LOVES humans and adores cuddles. His nickname is Sloth, as he tends to do nothing during the day/sleeps when no-ones home. He is quite insecure around big dogs/cats (loves little fluff-pups though), and so I would need for him to be an only-pet in a dog-friendly space. All in all, he's a perfect housemate, and leaves things just as clean as I left them. My main priority is that any potential housemates also love dogs, as Pablo always enjoys chilling with the humans or being a fellow couch potato with you if I'm at uni/work. I would prefer to pay nothing over $200, and am looking for private room to rent in the Western Suburbs (anywhere from Kenmore, Red Hill, Toowong to West End etc.) to the South side (Greenslopes, Fairfield, Dutton Park, etc). Thanks! :)
Hi, I’m from Ireland. Love travelling and hanging out with friends. Big sport and music fan so always up for a match or gig. Easy going but also very tidy.
Hey Brisbane, What is a good flatmate? 1. Pays the rent on time 2. Pays the bills on time 3. Clean up after themselves every day 4. Brings good vibes to the house – makes it feel like a home 5. Drama free 6. Has their own life – family, friends 7. Focused and passionate 8. Doesn’t bring crazy people into the house That’s me! You don’t want to dread going home because of your weird flatmate. You want to come home to a place where you feel like you can relax, where you’re leaving work and drama at the door. I’ve been sharehousing for a long time, so I know how to join a new family of housemates and not only fit in, but help make the place feel even better. I’m a busy working professional who likes his own space, and loves having a home that feels like a sanctuary from the world. I’m a massive movie nerd who is a huge fan of music, standup comedy, healthy food and exercise. I’ve lived with some amazing people over the years… I’m looking for a house to THRIVE in, surrounded by happy, healthy people that are really driven to create a great life. Hit me up! Looking to move soon, as my current rental is being sold in late April.
Hi! My name is Katie. I'm 33 and looking for a new place in Brisbane. I've just sold my place in the suburbs and am hoping to live nice and close to the city. A bit about me... I work full time in sales and travel extensively so I'm not around much. I am looking for a long term home with one or two roommates only. I like to be friends with my roommates and enjoy a wine every now and then. I am fairly active and if I'm in Brisbane will be at the gym in the morning. I ride my bike to and from work as much as I can and love to swim on the weekends. I'm a messy cook but promise I will clean up after :-) I have been informed that my taste in movies is terrible (love me a good chick flick) and I can't open a block of cadbury without demolishing the whole thing. If you like the sound of this ad, let's catch up for a wine and see where it goes from there.
Hi. I'm a fit, healthy sociable but somewhat reserved middle aged male high school teacher with a wide variety of taste in music, movies and foods (although I'm pretty average in the kitchen). I don't smoke but I do enjoy a couple of drinks while chatting at the end of the week. I enjoy the outdoors and sports but have become somewhat passive in that regard as I can't keep up with the young ones, but hey, I can cheer them on. I am clean, courteous and respectful to others' privacy and I appreciate that in return. I'm looking for one other to team up with to enjoy some company and a comfortable living arrangement. My preference is to find a place with individual bathrooms, outdoor sitting and off street parking.
Hi my name is Danielle. I am studying Graphic Design to complement my Marketing degree. I am a warm, friendly and social person. I cook and eat well and healthy and I clean after myself. My hobbies are zumba and yoga, I enjoy the beach and cafes a lot and sometimes try new things like going to new places to explore. I am looking for a happy house to live in. and ideally to be good friends with people I live with and share time together.
I’m a young public health professional currently working in the business operations team of a large charity. Just back from living overseas since 2015 (Nairobi and London) and am looking for somewhere central to enjoy an Australian inner-city lifestyle. I’m very tidy and love a good chat but am also am happy to have quiet time. I love cooking and often cooked for my old flat mates in the UK (waffles on a Sunday morning was their favourite).
I'm looking for a housemate to share a home with. I'm neat, tidy and respectful of others. I'm a full time Accountant student and I'm looking for a job as well, which means I will be studying or working during weekdays. When I’m not studying I like to relax, hang out in front of the TV, go to the pool/beach, workout in the gym, walk around the river and on weekends get some wine/beer or going to restaurants/bars. If I sound like someone you'd be keen to talk further with, send me a message!
Easy going, friendly and happy to help around the house to keep it clean - i've lived with messy people before which is the worst! I like to live with housemates i can be social with and enjoy going to the gym and cafe hopping on weekends
Oh Hi, Hello!! I work full time in retail in CBD. I am very friendly easy to get along with almost everyone. I am fairly quiet, tidy, clean and more importantly respectful and trustworthy. I live an active, social and healthy lifestyle. My hobbies are fitness, beach, road trips, music production, modeling and travelling. I'm fairly chill and tend to keep to myself most of the time working on my computer desk in my room. Although I love having a good chat or hanging. I am not a party person but I don't mind going out partying over the weekends. Also I love animals and if you have any, I would adore them.
I'm a relaxed, friendly and (i think) pretty funny guy from Sydney, recently moved up to Brisbane for work. I'm really into music, I love going to gigs and i make electronic music as a hobby. I enjoy watching sports and (for lack of a better term) Mind-fuckey movies. I like to stay pretty healthy (exercise regularly, eat reasonably cleanly) and I will clean up after myself. Reasons to pick me: 1. You'll have a New South Welshman handy to make fun of when QLD inevitably wins another origin 2. Pretty much always down for a beer 3. Tall, will be able to reach high places and condescendingly pat you on the head 4. Cooks a decent spag bol
Easy going, tidy and polite. Enjoys reading, writing, cooking, going for walks/exercise and goes out with friends. Works fulltime. Not a smoker. Has an occasional drink with dinner. Have backup funds so rent will always be paid on time. Looking for a place preferably with flexible stay. Able to give atleast 2 or 3 weeks notice, whatever required. I have the basics for personal possessions (furnished or unfurnished is fine) *Require a place by March 3rd*
