Hey guys, My name is Jan, I am a 23-years old graduate from Germany. I will be starting an internship in an Australian investment company starting end of may. I'm looking for a nice place to stay for this time, preferably in an apartment complex right in the city center that offers gym and a pool too (yes, I am one of the persons that really uses it:)). I have already lived in shared flats in Australia, Spain, Switzerland and Germany. I'm easy going and open-minded, I love to get to know new people and to discover new places but sometimes I need my rest too. Like my life, I like to keep my place simple, clean and organized. Looking forward to hear from you :)
Hi I'm Annie and I'm a masters of media student as well as a chef in Carlton. I am leaving my current accommodation because the house is being sold off and would be keen to move on the 17th of June. My price range is max 180p/w. I clean as I go and tend to keep to myself as well as socialise occasionally over a drink or a treat or two I've brought home. I hope to hear from you soon. :)
Hi! I'm 24, working full time in the banking industry and looking for a place to call home. I'm very tidy, bubbly and always up for a laugh. I love good company but can also be very independent and happy to do my own thing. My working hours are likely to be long but when I'm home I'm quite happy for it to be relaxed with a little bit of chit chat. I'm really respectful of other and their space and hope i can share a space with people who are similar. I also enjoy cooking and love the idea of sharing a meal with my housemates :)
Helllllo, legends. My name is Nikki, a 23 year old from the burbs of Chicago. I plan on moving to Melbourne on August 24th. I'm pretty chilled and laid back. I love music, sports, movies, banter, staying active, grabbing a drink. I am respectful and responsible. Pretty tidy(ish)- I promise to keep common areas clean and keep the mess to my room. I like to think I get on with just about anyone! Love to be social, yet have no problem at all keeping to myself. Currently working as a therapy technician at a physical therapy clinic, but planning to work as a server while in aus. Let me know if you think we'd get on!
Hi there! My name's Sam. I'm 30 & I've been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. I currently work full-time in the CBD in customer service, 9-5:30 Mon to Fri. In my spare time I enjoy reading tech blogs, skateboarding, start-ups, a few beers over trivia and the occasional Netflix binge. Seal's Kiss from a Rose is my go-to karaoke song. I'm currently looking to find a relaxed space to share with some friendly people starting mid-June I'm looking to stay long term (min 6 months), and am happy to put my name on the lease if needed. I'm share-house trained, clean, respectful, timely with bills and LGBTQ friendly. I'm looking for flatmates who are approachable and enjoy sharing a few drinks over dinner now and then, but understand that everyone needs their own space from time to time. Ideally I'm looking for a home more than a house, and enjoy being social with my flatmates. It's also important that the new house is close to public transport :) I try to eat healthy but I'm a sucker for a good parma. I typically organise my own food, but I'm happy to throw in for any communal house dinners or share if you ever need ingredients in a pinch! I'll be bringing a fridge with me too, so plenty of space for beer and extras! I don't have any pets, but I do have a good dad joke. 'Did you hear James Bond slept through an earthquake? He was shaken but not stirred'.
We are Sarah and Jamie a couple originally from the UK. Sarah works in the city in an office Monday to Friday and Jamie works at a bar/restaurant/cafe doing various shifts. We are friendly and easygoing, equally love socialising and also chilling out. We are tidy and considerate and want to share with people who are too.
Hieee! I'm Jessie. I'm 25 and work in health insurance fulltime. I am fun loving and out going but also at times, introverted. I am a good listener, great cook and I know how to clean up well! I pride myself on being kind and patience but also resilient and reliable. I am looking for somewhere to live inner suburbs..hopefully with a cute doggo! I love dogs! For fun, I like to be social but also like a good a Netflix binge too.
Hi we're two exchange students from Spain and we're looking forward for an apartment to share with some other international students (3 or 4 if possible). We will arrive to Melbourne on July and we'll stay for at least 6 months (as I am staying one year). The flat has to be located near to the city centre, since my friend studies at The University of Melbourne and I study at Monash. Thank you :)
Hey there! I'm Carmelo, 29/ Italian , working FT in constructions, at 2 sites located both in Balwyn and Hawthorn. I'm ideally looking for a room around Balwyn_Hawthorn_Kew or wherever I can get to work easily. (Near tram route 109 and easily accessible to Glenferrie station would be great) I'm friendly, clean, house_share_trained, easygoing , and looking for same future flatmates. I can make an amazing Carbonara ...and that might be enough to get the place, without considering a funny accent included in the package 😂 Let me know! Thanks guys🤞🏻 Ps: I'd need to find something as soon as possible
Hey, I'l be moving to Melbourne for the first time in July to study a Masters in Fashion at RMIT, and i'm looking for a wonderful place i could call home. I am 22 years old and originally from Kenya. I am fun, respectable, down to earth and clean so you wouldn't have to worry about me tidying up. I am also trustworthy, calm and open. I am looking for a place i could stay for approximately 6 months, preferably furnished and en suite. I am looking for housemates that i cannot only stay with but those i could call family. Hi there! I am coming to Melbourne to study for 3 month and I am looking for a house/flat to share with nice people. I am very quiet and easygoing. I like literature, cooking, jazz and dancing lindy hop. When the weather allows and I have time I also enjoy spending time in the mountains. I don't smoke and don't have a pet, but I really really like animals. I am looking for a place with people I get along with rather than just somewhere to stay.
Hey my name's Harry. I'm 22 years old and am a full-time student at RMIT. I'm from Torquay and am intending to move to Melbourne relatively soon to study a masters degree in public policy. I'm very respectful of others and always clean up after myself; I also get along with pretty much everyone and enjoy socialising. During a typical week I'll be mainly studying, going to the gym, playing video games, and having friends over here and there. On weekends I tend to enjoy either going out/seeing people, or just hanging around the house/playing video games if I'm feeling like a quiet one.
Hey guys! I'm Alex, from qld I'm a pretty chill dude, looking for a house with awesome people in it so as I can fully envelop myself into Melbourne and all its wonders! I'm working part time at a hotel in the city, looking to start studying next year. I'm pretty friendly, clean, respectful and I like to think I'm funny but I can never really tell... I really love music, fashion and exploring new places! Ps. Down to get jiggy
Hi! Ron and I (Cara) are Malaysian Chinese, 25 years old. We are easy-going, neat and tidy person. Both of us are student and working part time. I speak fluent Mandarin and Cantonese, still improving my English, I learned Japanese and Korean language (a little bit). We like to read, watching movie, travel, listen to music and cooking as well. I'd like to interact with people from other cultures. We are friendly, respectful, trustworthy, reliable and at the same time, we respect each other's privacy. We like to have our friends over at times but at the same time, we prefer to keep it silent. As we are working and studying it keeps us away from home most of the time. We would like to live in a friendly household.
Hello potential future roommate! I'm in need for a place to live ASAP! I'm currently living an hour away from the city down South and looking for a place closer to the city to benefit my travelling for work. A bit about myself… I'm a Gemini who loves chocolate and tea. I graduated high school last year and chose to go on a gap year with the intention to study further in the future. I’m receiving Centrelink payments and will look for a job if I do get chosen for a room. People say I'm effortless to live with as I clean up after myself, respect the people I live with and their belongings. I also find myself confronting problems when it arises. I describe myself as a very clumsy easy outgoing person who loves company but also likes time alone. I love animals so I’m fine living with them. I love being outdoors and up for anything. At the moment, I work as a model and do singing every weekend. If you would like to know more about me or suit to what you are looking for feel free to message me.
We are 24/25, are both from the UK and have been together for 9 years (cue the gasps of shock)! We lived in London for a couple of years but decided that now was the time to see more of the world! Although we haven't got jobs in Melbourne as we speak, we plan to have this lined up by the time we land. We are down to earth, friendly, sociable, and enjoy leading a busy lifestyle. Outside of work, we love to run, go to the gym, read, chill out watching films and enjoy a drink or two. We have both lived in shared accommodation before so are aware of household etiquette (if that's what it's called) and are keen to do so again in Melbourne!
Hey! My name is Eren and I am a mechanical engineer, easy going, dance instructor at the same time. I have my guitar with me so we can have lots of fun. I like watching movies, drinking, cooking and sharing with people and finally dancing of course. I can teach lots of moves for fun :) Searching for clean, tidy and nice furnished houses to rent. I like going out with friends and up for any events so it is nice having me on your side :)
Hello! My name is Ashleigh and I am relocating to Melbourne from Brisbane with my work. I will be working full time in Richmond and am looking for a place that will become a home. I have lived in a share house before and know what it takes to be a great flatmate. I enjoy being social in my downtime and would love a flatmate that could be a friend but I also respect that everyone needs their privacy and personal space! I love a casual brunch on the weekends and relaxing at home after work. I'm not much of a party animal but I do enjoy a few chilled drinks after work with friends or on the weekend. Please get in contact if you think we'd be a great fit! :)
Hello! I've just moved to Melbourne after having spent the last decade split between California, Finland and Germany. I am searching for an affordable, furnished or partially furnished room in a flat or house share.(If need be, I can also furnish a room, don't hesitate to write!). I'm flexible with regard to rental length as well, whether something shorter or longer term. I translate and edit professionally, so I am occasionally around at home to do that, although more often than not I'm out and about working or exploring. I'm increasingly involved in music production and web design as well professionally and for myself. I like to play ice hockey and music (with headphones at home, with amplifiers elsewhere ;)). I'm quite interested in politics, science, tech and the world at large. I am tidy, responsible and quiet. I'm happy to socialise with housemates, and it's nice to catch up for a meal together and to be able to chat. I enjoy cooking and baking a bit. I don't have pets or kids, am consistently employed, and can pay rent/bills/bond on time. I'd prefer to live with people who don't smoke indoors as I don't smoke myself. I am bilingual (German/English) and happy to practise Finnish and French if you're keen. It would be lovely to keep up/brush up on languages :) I am quite flexible with regard to location so long as good public transit connections are nearby, as I do not own a car (although I am after a bike here soon :)) and am fully at the mercy of Melbourne's trains, trams and buses for now ;) Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!
Hi everyone, My little dog Sonny (7 year old mini foxie) and I are moving to Melbourne from Perth in August. I realise it's probably a little early to be posting but just in case. I am looking for a pet friendly rental within 20-30 mins of the city. I would also need parking and having had the luxury of living Perth for so many years I have become rather accustomed to the warm climate therefore I would definitely a place with heating! If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be really grateful. Ideally I'm looking for my own place but if that's not affordable and someone has a room to offer in a clean and pet friendly home (she's an indoor dog, used to having a dog door and coming/going as she pleases) I'd love to hear from you. Anything you'd like to know, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks in advance, Soph & Sonny
- neat, tidy and clean - newish to Melbourne from interstate - health professional - length of stay 9+ months - car park required (off street would be ideal)
