Hey, asian born and French raised, i love to share a meal, having my bit own privacy and my door is always open for a chat. I am looking for a room in the north of the CBD. I am a 24yo man who is on working holidays visa and working full-time. Bit shy early but retarded at last, did I mention that i can cook? Cya nerds
About me. My name's Max , 26 years old.I am from France, I've been here for 1 year, so english won't be a barrier between us. I have already done my farm work for my second year visa in Childers, Queensland. I spent the time picking avocados. I drove my van down the cost back to Melbourne. I am currently working full time at a rooftop restaurant in the cbd, Melina rooftop bar. I have been living on Barkly st, Carlton but my lease is up and is the reason I'm looking for an another room. I am a very enthusiastic and outgoing guy, easy to get along with. Very organized person who likes to keep the house clean as much as possible, but I am not a fusspot. I really appreciate a good chat and don't mind having a few friends coming over for dinner or a few drinks sometimes, but I swear I don't normally have parties at my place. If you do, it's all up to you, as long as you invite me or as long as I can keep my privacy. I love the beach and the outdoors. So very often you will see me going for walks or sun bake. I also enjoy cooking ( french food ) and I like to spend some time at home from now and then. I consider myself a chilled person, so no dramas. I am looking forward to live in a happy and nice enviroment. The music is my real Passion. I will be really interested for this place. Im pretty in a Rush. So reply me if you think I am suitable for what you are looking for. 🙂 Cheers Max
Hello! My housemate Laura and I are looking for a new please as our current lease is about to end :( I work full time retail management and Laura is doing her masters at Melb Uni. We're both major foodies and love the occasional wine and gig Laura comes up with the most classic puns which crack me sideways everytime (every day), so I guess you could say we both have a great sense of humor. We both pride ourselves on cleanliness and sustainable living i.e. Turn off the lights when not in use, recycle paper, I do my washing only when I've run out of socks and underwear We also alternate in banana bread baking (non stop bake off) Not looking for a party house, however I may occasionally have a friend or two over her pres and cheese. Oh and I'm a platter queen.
Hey! I'm Cecile, I looking for a private room or a share room around Glenferries. I'm user-friendly, tidy and clean. I like cooking, talking and share a drink, or staying quiet and read a book... when i'm not at work or with friends.
Hello there, I'm Kathleen, a Canadian interning at the Florey Institute for the next 6 months. I will be working there 9 - 5 Mondays through Fridays and on the weekends, I'll probably be out exploring the city/area. That being said, I do enjoy having a beer or tea with my housemates and catching up every now and then. It's nice to have a place to call home. I'm clean, respectful and on a good day even occasionally funny. I enjoy such things as hiking, jogging, reading and baking. Also a vegetarian but not fussy, have successfully lived with meat eaters before :) If you think I could be a good fit for your house, please let me know. Cheers, Kathleen

Hi, Iam a considerate flatmate and believe honest and upfront communication about all things regarding the living situation to be the key to making it work. I recently relocated here and am looking for work in customer service. At the moment i have enough savings until I secure a permanent job. I am tidy, and mostly quiet but also enjoy sharing a glass of wine and listening to music.
Hi, my name is Joshua. I am 18 years old an currently in Melbourne for a couple of months. I really like socialising, going out, doing sports and reading but still enjoy some time on my own. I am tidy, clean my dishes and do my commitments when I need to do them.. If you have a flat to share, feel free to contact me. Greetings Joshua
Hi all I'm 32, friendly, easy going, open-minded :) I've recently returned home from traveling in South America for a year and now looking to move back to Melbourne and get back into things. Before traveling, I lived in Melbourne for 5 years and worked in marketing and advertising production and plan to find similar work. I've never missed paying rent or bills and happy to do equal shares of cleaning. My interests include making jewellery, learning Spanish & Portuguese, running, yoga, hiking, camping, reading, dancing, watching movies and probably a lot more.. I enjoy being social and sharing a cup of tea, a drink or a meal with housemates, but also like to do my own thing. I'll be back in Melbourne on Wednesday 8 March and available to meet for a chat from Thursday 9 onwards. I'm looking for a long term share house, 6 months +. (oh and I'm allergic to cats.)
Colombian. I am looking a place which I can call home. Student of Community Services (doing placement now Spanish welfare centre) and I work part time (babysitter and waitress). Responsible, clean, independent and easygoing. I fell in love with Melbourne.
Pretty chilled out Brit, looking for students/young professionals to live with during my semester studying at VU in Melbourne. A bit about me: I'm 21 and studying business/events management. I'm a sociable person, newly converted vegetarian (well… pescetarian. It’s a process, ok!), lover of walks, coriander and the occasional debate. I’ll be in Melbourne for 4-5 months so looking to squeeze every opportunity/ bit of fun out of my time. Looking forward to meeting some rite legends as housemates, who will hopefully become good friends (aw). I’m not needy (I swear!!). No but seriously, I do like my own space from time to time and expect to be somewhat busy with studying during the week so you don’t need to worry bout the ‘lonesome English girl’. Ideal living situation: Relaxed vibes, fairly tidy and respectful of each other’s space/property, not a mad party house, but equally not a silent lock-ourselves-in-our-bedrooms situation. A bonus would be great to find housemates who are up for having a laugh, going for drinks, cooking meals together, having deep discussions about life, luv & even politics (after a glass of vino or two). I'm now currently in Melbourne staying in a hostel, so available for rooms viewings pretty much whenever. Please get in contact if you think we would be a good match :)
We are an extremely friendly couple (plus one kitten) who are desperately looking for somewhere to live for the next month. We were supposed to be moving on to another place, but the plans fell through at the last minute and now we are looking at two options: living 2 hours away and losing our jobs while not being able to attend uni, or looking for another place in the city for the next month. Potential roommates are myself (Mia) and Hamish. I am a 22-year-old Politics student who works in Mexican fast food part-time (so I can always bring home some dope burritos and whatnot). Hamish is a 22-year-old Politics student who works in a bottle shop and does stand-up comedy the rest of the time. Our little kitten Muse (5 months) is low-key, quiet and mainly just sleeps all day, occasionally being playful. Please help us if you can! We're really nice people!
We are 3 British girls who are wanting to settle for a few months to work in Melbourne. We are all clean, tidy and respectful and looking for a nice place to stay within budget. We all met in Australia, we all like to eat out, shop and keep fit. x
My name is Katie McGall I am 27 years old and Am a full time working professional. I am into keeping fit at the gym but also love to have to odd glass of wine sometimes a bottle. I like a clean home so am very conscious of cleaning up after myself and general cleaning duties. I don't really like late nights on weekdays due to work but do like to socialize and again respect when private time is needed as I like my own space every now and then. I am looking for something central but don't mind if its a bit further out as long as its near a train line or tram line.
Relocating to Melbourne shortly (full time job already confirmed) and seeking a place to call home for approx. 3 months. Like to keep a tidy house and while will often enjoy a drink, party's are not my thing. Self-sufficient & respectful of others space, I also keep fit by spending many mornings at the gym or on my bike.

My leisure time is usually taken up by video games and board games with friends, wine and movies, and jokes on the internet. Originally from New Zealand. Looking for a homely house / flat to share. I work full time and like to get out and about. Looking for somewhere quiet during the week with a nice balance between sharing a meal, drink, movie etc with flatmates and having my own space. Easy going and open minded.
My name is Ben Gunn and I am a 22 y/o recent graduate from the University of Canterbury in NZ. I'm moving to Melbourne on March 8 for a change of scenery, work and to meet new people. I have been flatting for the past 4 years while at uni so I know how to keep a place spotless, respect other peoples boundaries, while also having a good time! I love sports (rugby, cricket, basketball etc) and play a bit of cricket and basketball when possible. I do a bit of gaming on ps4, but don't spend countless hours on it! I enjoy a beer or six every now and then, and always like exploring new places. I am also into learning about the world around me, as I think it is important in today's day and age to have an open mind!
What'd up fellow Melbournians ✌. My name is Tom or Thomas whichever you prefer. I've recently moved to the lovely, lively, fun, exciting, restless city of Melbourne in March last year (approx. 11 months ago). I am a graduate of a double in construction management and economics with honours from UNISA (Adelaide) and have recently landed myself a full-time (8am-5pm Mon-Fri) Assistant Project Manager gig in Hawthorn East. I have been living with 2 female housemates in Hawthorn, Victoria for 11 months now. But alas it is time for me to move onto somewhere new. I'm a kind, friendly, sociable, active, out going, easy to get along with, respectful, caring dude who works full time, plays volleyball and likes to ride his fixie whenever possible. I am clean and don't like mess or clutter. I don't smoke but don't mind if you do. I am very hospitable and flexible/considerate of others whenever possible. I am happy to do house dinners if that's your thing. I tend to lead a busy life with F/T work and sporting commitments so cook for myself most nights. I will most likely be out and about from Friday onwards and home during weeknights. I am always good for rent and expenses and have never missed a payment. I am currently paying $210/week, $912/month in rent alone (not including bills, water, gas, electricity etc). And am NOT on the lease or bond authority, so can move quickly (but am more than happy to provide proof of past rent, bond and expenses payments etc). What I'm looking for: - An Unfurnished Room - Budget of around $210/week - Need to move out at the end of March. - **Parking is a must** - Somewhere close to the city and my work (Hawthorn East). - One, two, three or four bedroom houses/apartments or a grannyflat. - I do not require a nice view. - I'm pet friendly and LGBT is fine too. If you have any questions please let me know via PM 😊. Thanks!
I have just moved from Scotland to Melbourne and am looking to find a flat (preferably a house share with other working backpackers) in/around Melbourne CBD. I am easy to get on with, clean and tidy and love meeting new people. I'm looking to move in somewhere asap!
I'm a recent graduate who now does an internship with the Red Cross. I'm 26 and from Germany but have lived in England for the last couple of years. I've been in Melbourne for a few months now and I still enjoy discovering the city. I like all the basic things, getting coffee, drinking beer, hanging out in parks on sunny days, you get the idea.. I'd love to live in the inner suburbs but I'm fairly open minded if the right places comes along.
I am a helpful, clean and friendly flatmate who would enjoy having shared experiences with my flatmates. I am from the U.S on a working holiday visa and am interested in staying in Melbourne as long as possible. I like eating brunch at all hours of the day and spending time outside. I'm looking for a furnished room near good public transport as I do not have a car.

My girl friend and I are looking to rent together - we are both young professionals working in the Construction/ Property Industry. We are 29 / 30 years old. I have done the whole Uni experience and am not looking for a party house, that said I do want to get to know you! Moreee than happy to chat over a beer or red wine (cab merlot) after work! As a housemate I am sociable but also respectful of alone time, patient, open minded, tidy and helpful! I love animals so if you have a pet that is most definitely not a problem. I look forward to meeting some new people and having a bit of cultural exchange, however I was recently told that I make the best fairybread ever, controversial I know! Ciao!!
I'm a 32 year old professional who works in Property Development in Hawksburn. I am in the process of going through a divorce and waiting for my settlement to go through so I can buy my own apartment. But in the interim I am looking for short term accommodation. I am super clean and tidy and can cook.
Hey I'm Anna, I am a hard working student and a full time worker in the Melbourne CBD. Over the past couple of years i have been living in Melbourne and working as well as going backpacking, which i do avidly, so there are going to be times when I'm not in and my housemate will have full reign of the apartment. I will need a housemate who is able to move in relatively quickly as i just returned from backpacking in Tasmania and my previous lease has expired so Im currently couchsurfing until I find a more permanent home. If I sound like your kind of person i'll be around the city from thursday onwards so i would love to grab coffee and get organized. Look forward to meeting you!!

I am moving from Footscray and I’m currently on a student visa. I looking for room to rent. I am very easy going and very kind, keep a clean a tidy household and enjoy a good mix of spending alone time and socialising with my housemate. Look forward to hearing from you, Han.
I'm the Creative Director for a South Yarra salon and also state educator for O&M which is an Australian natural colour brand. I work between 5-7 days a week and usually long days. So by the time I get home it's usually to eat and go straight to bed. when I'm not working I'm generally out about for dinner with friends or just relaxing at home with a wine or beer. I also travel at least once a month to qld and nsw. Because I work quite long hours I'm very respectful and considerate of other people's down time as I don't get a lot of it.
Hi guys, I am Sam, French like to live a healthy lifestyle, I am non-smoker and into Fitness/gym. I consider myself friendly, respectful, and eco-minded. I would like somewhere pretty chilled, a place house or an apartment — a nice place to relax and unwind but also have some friends coming over. I am looking for a place asap I think I have a vibe that would suit mature professional in their late 20s to mid-30s seeking a similar home lifestyle. If my profile sounds like something that would suit you, please get in touch and tell me about yourself and what you are looking for in an housemate! Please feel free to send me a message and Team-ups are welcome Many Thanks Sam

Hey! I plan to move to the Melbourne-area in June or July of this year! I'm 23 years old (but will be 24 by the time I move) and am from Indiana in the USA. I'm a college/university graduate and have a degree in Travel & Tourism. I LOVE to travel and do it often, love doing anything outdoors, working out, cooking (generally very healthy, minus all the sweets ugh), eating, crafting, having movie nights with my favorite people, and a good night out (although I honestly don't go out too often). I'm decently goofy, spontaneous, and really just a happy person. I'd like to think pretty low maintenance and easy to live with. I lived with 4 girls all throughout college and we only grew closer through the years, so that's good news I guess! I had thought about just getting a room in a shared house, but I liked the thought of getting a new place and really making it my/our own. I'm generally pretty frugal, so I definitely don't want to pay more than $200 a week. Lower would be SWEET. Close to public transport is a must, considering I won't have a car. I've only been to the Melbourne CBD and nearby St. Kilda, but loved the feel of St. Kilda (mid-20s crowd, unique,"hip,") Feel free to message me if you think we'd be a good match! AH I'm excited!
Hey there! I'm Erin, I'm 29 and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I'm employed full time, working as the Design Manager for Marshall White Real Estate. I'm a yoga addict, but when I'm not at work or in the studio I spend most nights out exploring Melbourne's incredible food scene or trying a new class or workout. I love nature, the beach, festivals, breakfast adventures, dogs, sunshine, yoga and a good cup of coffee. I also love exploring Melbourne by bike and travelling the world. I'm looking to move in with some relaxed, positive and respectful housemates that have their own thing going on but don't mind a catch up over a glass of wine, a movie or a house dinner. Although I do like going out from time to time, I'm not looking for a party house, but rather a clean and tidy place to kick back and unwind after a busy day. I'm an open minded, big hearted, glass half full kinda person and it is essential that you are the same!
34 yrs old Italian male. AU P.R. resident. Working as a Chef. Straight, clean, easy going, open minded peaceful person, non-smoker. I love healthy food and wine, music, reading, gym, training outdoor, travelling . Keen to make new friends, cook and share a meal together when possible. Looking for a peaceful and safe environment, possibly a furnished room in a house but not a party house, in a nice location well connected to the City, possibly not far from the Ocean or in a green area of Melbourne or close to it ( Ex: Elwood, Albert Park, Brighton, South Yarra, Richmond..). Thank you.
Sociable, well-behaved, fairly well-shaved, occasionally creatively stimulated - by music and visual deeds - and professional (in the sense that I'm sufficiently busy with work as Head of design for a startup in Prahran). I'm a Swede with a history in Sydney, came to Melbourne last year and looking for a new place around Collingwood / Fitzroy due to lease running out. I usually keep my head down during the week and socialize on the weekends. I gladly cook dinner, only get around using my white single speed and likes to jet set when I can.
We are Laurene and Coby, and we're a couple looking for a share house to call home! Coby is moving from Perth, and Laurene is a long-time Melbourne resident. Laurene works full time in South Melbourne, in Public Relations, and Coby is a train driver in Perth and will be looking for some work in Melbourne in during early March. Coby loves going to the movies, watching sport - mostly AFL, and loves going to live music. Laurene is a theatre lover (watching and participating, occasionally!) and has been really enjoying the new women's AFL league. We are looking for a chill house where we can enjoy coming home to cook and have a wine, and relax after work, with some friendly housemates.
So I decided I will buy food today. So I when to the supermarket (Woolworths) and was thinking umm spaghetti on toast even though it's gonna take 7 minuets to choose. 7 minuets you say! Well yes you have to shake the can and if it makes just the right amount of sound then ohh it's a good one if not then it's just this whole congealed mess of what once was a fine product. If feel sorry for the post apocalyptic generation cos they might never know the joy of selecting the perfect can all their cans are gonna be quite quiet I would imagine, but I digress so selected a few more items all staples mind you bread, 20 pack of iceypoles, frozen lasagna, home brand orange and mango fruit drink and the fore mentioned spaghetti (2cans 6 minutes work.....worth it). And get home have 2 glasses of orange and mango fruit drink and appetite utterly destroyed. Lucky they are all staples. Oh oh and a potato yep I bought a potato one of those pink ones. I usually get the dirt covered ones you know to get that real hunter gatherer sort of felling but on this occasion the were all quite miniature in size come to think of it they were probably kiffler potatoes which don't get me wrong kiffler potatoes done correctly are magnificent but I was thinking more of a baked potato kind of thing.....
Currently live in west Melbourne and love the area, I work full time in Brunswick Monday to Friday & the occasional Saturday.. I enjoy having a beer and also enjoy going to gym and playing social sports.. consider myself clean, tidy & respectful of others.. I grew up in Melb but have lived in other states through playing sport & work.. but will stay in Melbourne long term for now.. Melbourne is the place to be! I'll bring a positive vibe with me also 🤙🏼
Hello there, We are 2 friendly and calm Mexicans brothers ready to start our academic english classes. As we are planning to stay in Melbourne for a while we would like to have a good and comfortable stay. Me: male,20 years old, calm, friendly, fan of calisthenics, music ,nature, nutrition... Diego: male,19 years old, very calm, fan of animals, nature, jokes... Regards, Patricio Martinez
I'm new in the city, from Chile. I'm friendly, tidy and respectful of common spaces. I like to cooking and I have no problem to share time with the flatmate to have some dinner, ser a film or just have a conversation.
Hello Friend :) You are reading about myself (Clint), Nalu my girlfriend (from Belgium)and Alastair who is a fellow kiwi. A bit about us: We all suffer FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) hence we embrace the Melbourne life style and all the sweet activities that come along with it! We are also know to do the odd camping trip out of the city when we are in need of a break from the hustle n bussel of just a day trip to surf outside the bay. I have lived in Aus on and off for 6 years now when not traveling, Nalu has just arrived for her 2 year working holiday visa and Alastair has lived in Melbourne now for 3 years. We are looking for crew who have interesting stories, like to chill week days and have a BBQ n couple in the weekends and maybe a dress up party for your birthday if your into it ;). Our ideal flatties would be social, however hectic after parties are not something I we are interested in having at our house. We could cook together or not depending on time tables but I always like to try have a flat dinner once a week. We are all clean and tidy but not over the top I feel a house should feel lived in not like a hospital. Reasonable is the word here, OCD humans perhaps wont work. So if your "like" us and feel we could gel get in touch :) The nitty gritty: - Would expect rent divided evenly by person not room but up for discussion - Nalu will be leaving at some point to do her rural work for 3 months and extend her visa and will not be able to pay rent during this time so any option would have to allow for this when looking at max per person rent. - Not so keen for apartments
Calm and tidy, I appreciate my privacy and respect yours. I'm looking for a quiet place to share with nice people. And if you have a cat - I'm ready to move in even today 😄
I'm looking for a single or share room with fun, sharing people open minded people but the mos important is I want to live with people who do not speak Spanish because I need to improve my English. I'm 31, work in burwood in general cleaner, meeting people and having adventures.I'm respectful, friendly, honest, clean and tidy. I love explorer new cultures and definitely travel with a new friends.
Who wants to live with me? Looking for a shareroom / flat / squad / garden / anything to call home :) I've recently arrived in Melbourne and I noticed I really love it here. After living on the road, in a van and in a hammock for a while I decided I want to stick around and settle down instead of being some kind of homeless (which is really cheap tho, can definitely recommend it). No kiddin', it just feels like it's time to find a place to call home again and experience the daily life in Melbourne. At the moment I am working 2 days in the week but I'm planning to work as much as possible in the next few months. I'm a 28 year old guy from Amsterdam and I would describe myself as the 'just trying to be happy kinda guy'. After 8 years of working full time at the office as young professional in Telecommunications and IT, I decided to quit my job and start traveling the world. This because I realized my current life situation was simply not going to make me happy in the end. I'm a really chilled out and social guy. Stress and worries doesnt exist in my life, life is just perfect as it is. I love having a beer while talking and philosophize about life and the beautiful world we are living in. One of my biggest hobbies is socializing with people from all over the world. I'm reliable, friendly, respectful, open-minded, considerate and trustworthy. I'm a vegetarian and a smoker (but can smoke outside), I love beer & 420 and I am a music lover in general, I think genres doesnt really matter; when it's good, it's good! :) I also would love to learn how to play any instrument, so living with a musician would be totally awesome. Other things I love and appreciate: food & cooking, (extreme-) sports, nature/camping/hiking, sustainable living, coffee, movies, spirituallity and the smell of washing powder. Ideally I'm seeking for a chilled out, homely and cosy plase to call home in area's like Fitzroy, Carlton, Brunswick, Northcote, Richmond, Collingwood, St. Kilda, Windsor, South Yarra or surrounding area's. A garden with some fruits of vegetables would be amazing, cause I really want to improve my skills in growing my own food. BUT, I'm really flexible so if you have a room somewhere else, please let me know as well! At the moment I don't have a place to live so I would rather move in yesterday then tomorrow :) So if you have a place available don't hesitate to contact me so we can meet up for a chat and to get to know each other. Hope to hear something from you soon! Peace & blessings <3
Hi! I'm looking for a new home close to the city - filled with people that are very clean, healthy, loving and inspiring. I'm an organised, healthy and ambitious person, but wow do I balance that out with a great sense of humour, love of fun and being a big ol’ ball of geek! I love heading out on adventures, dancing and doing active outdoorsy things but equally value time chilling at home, creating cool stuff or just hanging out. I'm a generally easy going person but i've lived in share houses long enough to know what i like and i'm honest about what I want so read on :) My type of share house is one in which everyone can easily use the space as their own. Meaning shared spaces in particular are always left in an extremely clean and functional-for-everyone state and general cleaning/upkeep tasks are shared and done every few weeks. I like to uphold a relaxed/friendly/supportive/respectful/loving/fun vibe in the house and being really honest and open with communication. Other things you should know: - Housemates are all the best parts of family and friends for me. I genuinely care about the people i live with and the space around me so I expect a similarly high level of respect and initiative back. - Looking for rent $120 or less a week - Location wise within 20 minutes public transport access to chapel st/richmond/city is a must. - I need quite a bit of freezer and pantry space because i do monthly meal preps! - I own a beautiful big antique mirror and it would be epic to use this somewhere! - I like a generally peaceful, comfortable, very clean and functional living environment - Cleaning with low fragrance/ low chemical products (vinegar/bicarb/natural sprays). Strong smelling stuff causes my body all sorts of issues so I try to keep that to a minimum and ask that people i live with respect that. - I have a car so space or street parking is a factor If you've read this far and are still curious, wewww get in touch!
