Friendly and easy-going gal from Darwin. Looking for a furnished private room preferably in CBD or close to city and girls only. Wanting to move to Melbourne to pursue a job career. I get along great with other people and believe I'd be an awesome person to share with :) My budget per week is $250 and would prefer that included all bills or at least most of the bills. Or $300 with everything included (bills and internet) Move in date is between march 29th and April 10th :) Team ups with girls only!!
I'm a chilled out clean guy and I've lived in house shares since I was 18 so know how to be a good housemate. I enjoy socialising as much as my own space, can chat for hours about any subject but also respect peoples privacy. I love being outdoors, cycling, soccer and general adventuring. Love music (mainly into bassy stuff but have an eclectic mix) and can often be found singing and dancing when I'm by myself. All in all I'm a friendly social character whose up for a laugh and a bit of banter.
I'm from Colombia, I'm 26 years old. I little bit about me: I'm a Marketing Professional. I came to Australia to study English for a year and life some different experiences, I love animals, I like to cook and read, I'm a creative person, I like to keep my space really clean, I respect the other and I hope they respect me back. I'm looking for a private room near city.
Hey everyone, Chun Sang here (or CS, it rolls off the tongue much more easily)! From Singapore, 27 turning 28. Currently working as an admin officer at Monash Uni at St Kilda Road. I like the occasional drink or two. A cafe run wouldn't hurt either (I like my coffee, good or bad ones). Binges too much on movies, tv shows and netflix sometimes. Oh, huge soccer fan too #GGMU. Overall, I'd say i'm relatively clean and tidy (I try to clean my apartment every weekend), pretty chill, respects your personal space, and would like to meet and hang out with some potential awesome housemates. Let me know if you think i'd be good for ya!
I am a neat and clean Architect working in the CBD. I am also an easy going with a good sense of humour. Happy to be social as well give people space to do their own thing, not a hermit. I have a car, so I will be looking for a place which as parking or free street parking.
I'm very clean, tidy and respectful, I like my own privacy but also sharing some time with people. I'm very friendly, I have experience sharing room and I've never had a problem with my roomates. I'm looking for accomodation because I live far from the city (1 hour in tram) and I can't waste my time just commuting. I'm open to make some inspections. Best regards Victor Jimenez Mechanical Engineer - Universidad Nacional de Colombia Medellín
Hello :) our lease is up in Windsor and I'd like to move closer to my business in Richmond as I'm so over the insane traffic around Windsor!! We are both professionals employed full time (Laura has her own business), very fun but equally hard working, clean and reliable. Excellent with money and paying rent/bills on time. We are both very tidy and clean and very house proud. We are looking for 3-4 bedroom large houses around Clifton Hill/Fitzroy/Richmond. And there are some gorgeous houses coming up but we need a 3rd or possibly 4th person to join us in the hunt! I have a 4mth old kitten and we are both animal crazy and we'd love to live with people that are creative/interested in gardening, art, philosophical discussions about life etc. We believe in treating others well and putting out positive energy into the world. No negativity thanks! We have everything a house needs but are very open to more furniture, especially a dining table and outdoor furniture. I will also be bringing my 2 yr old GSP dog for weekend visits occasionally (he lives with my parents) so you need to love dogs. You must like animals, having a laugh and looking for friends rather than just a flatmates. Get in touch! Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Kiwi lad, recently moved to Melbourne. I'm clean and tidy, and enjoy cooking & entertaining, a good TV series, music & gigs, watching sport, beaching/surfing, skiing, keeping fit, and socialising in good bars/cafes/pubs.
I'm Connor! Super easy going and friendly (that stereotypical Canadian trait). I work full time as a graduate Architect in Melbourne, so I spend a lot of time at work and out at art and design events. If there's a decent gig or something worthy, I'm keen to head out for a boogie. Otherwise, I'm not a huge partier. I love to have a tea/drink at home and hang out for a chat. Also know when it's time to chill and need my space to read/binge on docos in my room. I get amongst into yoga, sailing and surfing and that's typically what I do on my weekends when I'm not hanging with friends. I've lived in flat shares for the past 5 years, so I've got a good handle on dynamics. I would love to find a small living crew that I enjoy hanging out with; all while respecting flatting etiquette and that
Hi Guys, My name is Naima and I'm looking to rent a room. I have a happy disposition and am very clean. I keep to myself mostly but also mingle in. My hobbies include playing volleyball on the weekends, hanging out with my friends and reading. Also occasionally binge watch Netflix. I work part-time as an Account Manager, searching for full-time roles.
Hey! I'm a 21 year old science student looking for a new place to call home. I'm social and fairly easy going. I play music in my spare time, I've been playing guitar for several years and I've recently also become a (bedroom) DJ. I enjoy cooking and I also make sure to leave communal areas clean all the time. As a bonus, I also come with a vacuum, fridge, washing machine and some furniture attached to me that I can bring to the house. I'd love to hear from you all, and I hope I can be a great addition to your house!
Hey there! Recently my priorities have started revolving around cooking, music and writing. Recently a friend of mine said I'm a guy who is always up for anything so I can be a lot of fun. I love to relax and enjoy the comforts of a home as well.
Hi. Moving from London to Melbourne in March to start a new job at EY as a data analyst. Looking to live with cool people who know the city well and know what to recommend. Love my house music and used to love my clubbing nights out, but these days prefer to chill more. Moving to a new city is very exciting, so looking forward to meeting some interesting folk.
Hi! My name is Giorgia and I am currently working full-time as a midwife in the city. This does mean I am a shift worker so my roster and working hours are a bit all over the place. I am therefore busy and will be in and out of the house, and sleeping at all times of the day and night. I am quiet and respectful when coming in and out, however I do not expect everyone else to be quiet during the day if I am sleeping-luckily I can sleep either way! I am a vegetarian enjoy gardening, being active if I have the energy, and reading/relaxing at home. I have lived out of home for many years and so have a good understanding of the need to be clean, respectful, and pay the bills on time. Looking for a 6-12 month lease, 12 months preferred. Flexible on location, so long as it is roughly 20min drive to city. I would like to find a place where we really enjoy each others company and we all become good friends, however I do also enjoy my own space and respect others as well. I am very interested in a team up to start a new share house. About the same age would be nice, no strict preference on gender. I come with an assortment of plants and a cat, Theo. He is three years old and very well behaved (indoor cat, Siamese). He is very friendly and loves nothing more than sleeping with people on the couch. He does not bite/scratch, or destroy furniture, minimal shedding. References (character/rental) for both Theo and myself are available upon request
Hello my name is Kosuke. I'm a Japanese male student, age is 21. Now I'm on the foundation course in Swinbrune Uni to get into bachelor degree of design. I'm willing to clean up my room and keep shared spaces clean. I hope stay with good mates respectfully.
Hi, I'm Gab, I'm 28 and I work in marketing for a gallery. I'm interested in travel, photography, art and music. I've spent the last 5 years working in advertising and marketing, and slowly ticking countries off my list throughout Latin America. I spend my weekends out at brunch, gigs or having a few drinks with friends. Always on the hunt for the perfect bloody mary. I'm an easy going person, and am very reliable and independent. That's me in the middle with some pals at Meredith.
Hi! We are a New Zealand couple who have recently moved to Melbourne to work in the film and fashion industry. We are both clean, tidy, easy going, social/ friendly and are used to living with others.
Hey! I'm from London and I will be working in the Retail Fashion Industry within Buying / Product Development. At the moment I'm planning on doing a day trip to a Lysterfield Lake with friends, a BBQ on St Kilda beach, going to Bimbos and volunteering at Babylon festival. These are the kind things I like to give you an idea 🙂 I am clean and tidy, enjoy cooking, music, sports and will use the gym. I have lived in house shares a lot and can be quite good at the odd DIY if needed.... About you guys... Cool, nice people :) Thanks for reading this far. Ross
Gay guy originally from Brisbane but called Melbourne home for nearly 4 years now. Professional job allows me flexibility re work hours so not always 9-5 Mon-Fri. I have a good circle of mates and like to get out and socialise. I am clean, tidy, thoughtful and very respectful of others and their belongings. MOST IMPORTANTLY ... I have a 10 year old beagle, Jasper, who is at the age where he just does his own thing at his own pace. He's a beautiful dog and takes to pretty much anyone and enjoys companionship. Not a barker or a digger and has his own rental references from landlords and agents. So am obviously looking for somewhere pet friendly with a decent (doesn't have to be huge) yard or park nearby. We have unfortunately just had to farewell our great little Brunswick home as, as fantastic as she was, the owner moved back from the UK. I have entered my move date as end of month for the sake of it but can move anytime preferring sooner. I have a small 2 bedroom house (approx) of high end appliances and designer furniture all 1-3 years old which would be great to make use of but can store if need be. As far as housemate ages, I really am open to living with anyone 18 to 50 or 60 or whatever, provided you're mature, don't continually piss people off and chip in good. I do get along best with guys and girls in their 20s, 30s and 40s and love the variety that comes with it.
Hi :) My names Henry. I am a very considerate and understanding housemate. Fully share house trained (have been doing this for a while) Clean, respectful whilst still enjoying of having a chat over a bottle of wine and knowing my housemates :) Looking to live with some mature people around the same age or an older group as well. I work two jobs, one in a cafe and one in a delicatessen and just enjoy socialising, reading, music and drinking beer and wine.
Very clean / domestic Socialable Approachable Bubbly Musician Go to gigs Skate I'm currently working full time and always up for going out and being social or even chilling out on a couch and interacting with house mates with board games or anything. Don't mind a chill out drink after work and sometimes go out on a weekend but only for gigs or bands i want to see at clubs or such. Like to think im very approachable and helpful around the house, i clean up after myself and like to live in a clean house like anyone would. I play in a band that i go and play and jam with regularly so if you ever want to do a road trip or check us out i wont say no to the extra fun and all that goes with it Also I am drug free, never done it, don't have a problem with it and if people use it Also I don't smoke or anything like that.

I'm from Australia, but new to Melbourne, having recently returned after spending 9 years living in London. I work full time in the CBD on content for websites and mobile apps. I'm clean, tidy and respectful, but also happy to join my housemates for dinner or a drink occasionally.
My name's Daniel, I'm 25, and I work full-time for a small consulting company in Bundoora. I'm easy going, I like to keep fit (runs, gym, swim, etc.) and I'm well house-trained! I like a house with a little bit of energy but where everyone respects each others space. I'm keen to move to the Darebin area or other suburbs north of the city.
We are a couple of introverted performing artists who love the outdoors, reading, film, cooking, spirituality and exploring. Very easy going and we value kindness, compassion, honesty and openness. We have a well-behaved cat also. We would love to hear from anyone offering temporary accommodation, sub-lets, or a two-bedroom places. Many thanks! :)
Love to cook. Love sport and im quite a creative type person, often fiddling round building something or with a hundred ideas. Little bit of green thumb. Very easy going and friendly. Outdoorsy architect
I'm hardly ever home and I'm clean. I have enough good quality furniture to fill a 2 bedroom apartment so preferably looking for a garage to store it. I come with 2 very friendly Burmese cats. I have 2 jobs so I'm not home much. I am a smoker (outside is fine) and don't pry into peoples lives. I respect privacy but i am friendly. I also prefer off street parking. I don't have crazy ex's or kids.
I am Sonja, my boyfriend and I are from New Zealand (though he is an Australian citizen). We recently have had the most wonderful experience of traveling through Europe for about six months. But we are both keen to come back and earn back what we have spent, and within the year start university. We love to visit new places, eat and of course just chill at home. Though I am more of a homey kind of girl, Max loves to go out and have a good time. We are both reasonably tidy, and Max loves to cook. We would love to meet likeminded people and are both looking forward to the future.
Studying psychology at ACAP and work freelance. I am a tidy, quiet person who is seeking accommodation near public transport due to no car. I enjoy cooking, writing, reading, volunteering, making friends, theatre, opera, music, eating out, working and walking. If we sound compatible contact me asap! Please note I have a well behaved small dog that's six years old. He's quiet, adorable and also loves other pets including other dogs and cats. I hope someone out there has a heart and will let us both stay as he is my only family and I'd hate to lose my companion. Thank you. At this point I'll move anywhere to keep my dog as he recently had costly and debilitating surgery. I am also a non drinker and non smoker.
I'm a final year medical student from London, England studying at the University of Bristol. I have passed all of my exams and am due to graduate as a doctor in July 2017. I'm looking for 4-6 weeks accommodation in Melbourne to complete the final part of my training - a medical elective - at the Sunshine Hospital, Melbourne. Proximity Sunshine or to a good transport links is my most important preference. I'd be happy to flat share with students/young professionals or let a room out from young families. I'm fun and outgoing, but also respectful and tidy. I enjoy football (soccer), tennis and golf as well as outdoorsy pursuits including hiking, cycling and open water swimming. I'm looking to work in Australia in the future and am excited about the prospect of immersing myself in the Australian way of life for the first time.
I'm from India. I am used to Flat-sharing. I'm neat, tidy guy. can help with house-hold chores. Will love to help you in cooking (Considering, you won't kill me if i make mistakes). I would love to play with your pet, if you have one, but if you don't, it's alright. Very helpful and have little bit of handsomeness from my papa.. Would love to hear from you! :)
Hello! I'm a friendly, and fun housemate to live with. Im quite easy going and enjoy to socialise with my house mates. Its always nice to like the people you live with! I also live a clean and tidy house to like in so I clean up after myself. 😊
I'm Murty! I'm studying a Masters in Marketing at UniMelb and also working there as a reporting analyst. I'm fairly laid-back and pretty easy to get along with. I enjoy powerlifting (p. weak though) and train fairly regularly. I also enjoy fashion/clothes and will probably tell you all about all of the clothes that I'm perpetually "saving up" for. Always up for a Netflix binge (currently watching Iron Fist; it's a bit meh), grabbing a drink or weekend brunches. I've lived in shared housing for the last 8 years and I've got a pretty good handle on it. Happy to slip into the existing house dynamic. Give me a shout and we can go from there!
34 yrs old Italian male. Australian P.R., living and working in Melbourne since 2013. I am working as a Chef. I am also considering to study to upgrade my skills in the culinary field or even an optional career. Straight, clean, easy going, open minded peaceful person, non-smoker. Enjoy my own space and respect others's space. Fine with home cleaning and house duties. I like animals and they like me. I love healthy food and wine, Music (I've got a decent collection of Jazz and alternative music..) ,going to gigs, hanging out for dinner once a week and enjoy Melbourne's food scene. I enjoy reading, gym, walking to the beach, training outdoor, travelling when possible and relaxing at home off course . Keen to make new friends, cook and share a meal and have a vino together sometimes. I can make the most delicious artisan pizzas in town at your place..;)! Looking for a peaceful, clean and safe environment, possibly a furnished room in a not crowded house. Not a party house, in a nice location well connected to the City, possibly not far from the Ocean or in a green area of Melbourne or close to that. Thank you. Cheers, Michele
Looking for short or could be medium term, no fixed term im easy to get along with usually keep to myself, with the right flatmates love a ring and chat. I am mostly busy on the road or at home researching.
Ahoy, I'm Ollie. A relaxed, employed 29 year old, and part-time psychology student. A bit of an ambivert, I comfortably flow between socialisation and independently pursuing my own curiosities. Some of these are learning music, an eclectic array of DIY projects (from sewing to programming), and plenty of cooking (if only to keep ample hummus abound). I could bring to a house a lush tea and spice assortment, a decent sound system (don't worry, I have headphones), solid computer know-how, a washing machine, and a presence that is well honed in the art of taking care of oneself and being a conscientious housemate. I've run share-houses before and can summon references from both landlords and former housemates if need be. All said, hopefully I'll hear from you soon. If not, best of luck regardless. Ollie.
I'm clean, easy going and am independent but like to have friendly, clean housemates that like the occasional cup of tea/ drinks/ meals together when timing suits :) I've been sharing houses since I was 18 in different countries and am very adaptable. Looking for a new place long term but happy to start with 6 months also. Looking strictly in the areas listed below. The "About me" section isn't displaying correctly but I have only selected "Working full time" so if you see any others, likely due to some bug (?) on this.
I would like join your house family (ideally 3br or more) to create a warm, productive space to pursue dreams and possibilities and enhance the quality and enjoyment of life. ** flexible move date ** Hey guys! We are a couple named Brooke and Sam, both 25, and looking to find a new space to call home in our beloved home city after traveling the world. A little about ourselves... Since finishing her University studies Brooke has switched between full time work and traveling the world, and now is settled back in Melbourne with a full time job in the travel industry. Also a Yoga teacher, super cleaner and lover of all things natural. Sam is also a traveler and expert Barista making coffees in Brunswick for over 8 years so expect the best morning coffee (don't worry, no Melbourne coffee snob here) and an AMAZING cook! We have been together for many years and honestly such a chill couple that don't need to do everything together always.. we are both very independent people! (I know most say that, but really!!) We are both vegetarians so would prefer a Vegetarian house hold to make life easier for all, both love traveling the world with complete cultural immersion..food and language, so very open minded people. We both work, love our personal space but enjoy socializing over a few beers as well. Super clean, tidy and respectful to all spaces and will bring yummy cooking, diverse conversations, good laughs and beautiful plants to our new home! We look forward to hearing from you! :) Note: Sam is an occasional smoker but only smokes outside just to make that profile section clear
We're a British travelling couple (24, 25) who have landed in Melbourne 14/03 and looking to spend around 6-9months in Melbourne, although want to find a 3 month stay to begin with, and then go from there in terms of housing. $350 really is our limit, we'd prefer this to include bills but that can be negotiated. We're easy-going, clean and social housemates- enjoy a chat over cooking (I'm veggie but happy to cook meat) and a glass of wine/beer but also appreciate busy schedules and personal time/space. We'll be working but on our time off we enjoy keeping fit (gym, yoga, running, walks) and catching up with friends in the amazing restaurant and bar scene that Melbourne offers!
Hey! My name is Madeleine. I’m a 25 year old from Sweden who just moved to Melbourne from Gothenburg and I’m now looking for a room in a flatshare. For the last three years I’ve been studying psychology at the university of Gothenburg. I’ve now decided to take some time of uni and spend a year or two in Melbourne before I continue with my master in clinical psychology. I will be working in the restaurant/café business. I Like to keep myself active and usually I spend my spare time hanging out with friends, go to the gym or reading a good book. I like indie, rock and electronic music. I’m up for partying and bar hangouts. Also I enjoy wining and dining and cooking occasionally. I’m an easy going, social person but I don’t take up too much space. Kindest, Madeleine
Oh hey! We're Nu & Marco, a Melbourne chicka and German guy and we put the mates in 'housemates'. We're a fun-loving, friendly couple who've just come back from our overseas adventures and are now looking for a more permanent home. I'm a full time travel agent and Marco is a full time student so we're both out and about most days but really appreciate some relaxed down time after business hours feat. baking, chill nights in, and road tripping on weekends. We're clean, reliable, respectful, and don't take ourselves too seriously and we'd love to find like-minded housemates who are also keen on the occasional shared dinner and boogie. If you think your household needs more freshly baked goods and a funny accent to complete it you know who to call! (hint: not Ghostbusters)
Hi there, I'm Ursula, german Physiotherapist & Spa Manager from Cologne and studying here Beauty Therapy for 1 year until december 2017. My Visa is valid until march 2018 and if I have the chance to stay, I would like to. I'm looking for a quiet, nice and clean home in a central part of Melbourne. I'm open to meet people but not a party animal anymore and would be glad to find someone who likes it (most of the time quiet), too. I like reading, cycling, hiking, good food, a good glas of wine and I'm always open for a good talk. The place must be furnished and I would be happy to have a shelter for my bicycle. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hello ~ My name is Jenny and I am looking for an accommodation. I work during the night (5 pm to 10 pm) for now, so in daytime would be home or out for some studies. I am clean and tidy so if you live with me , you don't need to worry about the messy house. I am a friendly person and love to take a time with my friends or housemate. Now I hold working holiday visa but from next year I am going to be a student. Let's talk about more together~
Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a 25 year old Draftsperson. I have recently moved to Melbourne after living in Sydney for the past six years and loving it! At the moment I am living in Brunswick and working in Hawthorn. I'm looking for a place a bit closer to work and hopefully an area with a few more trees than Brunswick. I'm looking for place I can call home with people I hope to call my friends not just flatmates. I'm easy going and friendly (unless I'm hungry, but that's any easy fix). I enjoy a casual nights in with a good netflix binge and wine, playing my guitar and bass (I have recently joined a soul band), bike riding, playing team sport - I thought I'd do the Melbourne thing and join an AFL team (we'll see how that goes haha) and drinking great coffee. I like to prepare my own food but am always up for a social meal at home or dinner and drinks out. I'm not much of a cook but do love food! Send me a message if you think I'd be suitable for your place! Lauren
29 year old American. Just finished backpacking in Asia for 11 months and settling in Melbourne for awhile on a working holiday. I'm an easy going and respectful roommate. Very clean. Enjoy biking, running and cooking. It would be great to become friends since I'm new to the city but not a must.
I'm currently on my gap year, working part time as a barista and training full time as a boxer. I'm super easy going, sociable, clean and reliable. Moving to Melbourne from Perth mid-April so looking for a place to move in by the start of May!
Hi! My name is Amanda, I am 33 years old (but look and act about 25) I was working in communication until recently when I left to go travelling. At the moment I am with a temp agency until I find the right comms/media role for me. Stuff about me: I love films, binge watching tv series, reading and Seinfeld. I am pretty easy to get along with and love meeting new people. I am respectful of others, quiet if I get home late and will keep shared areas clean and tidy, my room, however may have clothes all over the floor by the end of the week. In winter I am on my snowboard and in Summer I am at the beach. I am also (don't judge me) a Bikram Yoga addict and bust some moves at hip hop dancing once a week. I love food, but I'm a pretty basic cook and an excellent dish washer-upperer. I am out most nights of the week, but when I am at home I settle into that couch like a boss (always with a cup of tea). My dog Boo Radley is my entire world, I have only had him for a short while, but I know we're going to be the best of friends. He is a 4 month old puppy. A staffy x many other breeds (he's a rescue). I am looking to live with people who are clean and tidy, respectful of others but also those who want to get to know me and we can have those cool housemate moments where you all watch a movie or just sit around and talk about nothing until 1 in the morning with a glass of wine/beer/cider and pizza. I want to live in a home with mates, not a house that I just sleep in.
I've just emigrated to Melbourne from the UK so looking for a house with some friendly flatmates. I'm sociable, clean and looking to make some friends through the house share. I work as an Environmental Consultant, and am keen to explore the city. I enjoy sports and the outdoors and hope to explore parts of Australia.
Heya my name is Caito and I work full time for an amazing travel company as well as being back on the study train and smashing out a part time degree in Media and Comms. I'm very much a busy bee and am constantly running off to some event or activity throughout the week/on weekends, but that's not to say I don't love a good night in watching rom-coms and eating my weight in pizza and garlic bread. Love a chill evening at home when they happen. Used to be a party animal in the ye old days (University the first time) but have reached the age where hangovers now hurt. Although, I do love the occasional beer on the weekend or night out with mates. Consider myself neat, clean, and respectful of peoples space and am looking for a fun, friendly, and sane flatmate that similarly hates mornings. I already have a flat full of furniture and am really looking for someone keen on the same areas to live to start a lease with for the next 6 months. Hit me up if you're keen :D
