Hi, I'm looking for a room somewhere in the Eastern Suburbs as I work in East Melbourne as an events/course coordinator for a company that trains doctors and nurses. I've been travelling throughout Europe for a year and learnt to love wine, and also learnt poor poor Italian which comes out with the wine. I moved to Melbourne in March from Tasmania and am living with family (sort of), now looking for my own place - flexible on the move date, but looking for a long-term situation. I still haven't learnt to cook for one, which is fine because I love to share meal and drink. I know how to share a house, I like to keep common areas tidy, but am prone to having a floor-drobe throughout the work week. And I listen to music in the shower (but not pop-trash).
Hello flatmates! I'm a full-time student at Victorian College of the Arts and I'm looking to share a place with some like-minded folk, as close to the Arts Precinct as my budget allows. I'm clean, I like my space and respect others' need for space, though I'd enjoy living in a home where socialising is the norm and there's a feeling of community. I like home-cooking, caring for plants and animals, listening to most kinds of music and getting crafty. I'm at uni pretty much all day, five days a week, so weekends are my time for chilling around home, catching up on uni work and exploring all the goods that Melbourne has to offer. I am interested in start-ups but as I don't have much furniture with me, I'd prefer to slot in to an established share-house, if the vibe is right. Looking for something for about six months or longer, if it's working out nicely. Cheers, Mads
Hello :) I'm Dani, from Scotland and 25 years old. I have been travelling SE Asia for 7 months and I have now arrived at my final destination, Melbourne, where I plan to live and work for 1 year. I plan to get a job in the hospitality sector (however have enough money for rent etc until I get a job). I'm a friendly and easy-going person, who enjoys meeting new people, chilling in cafes, being active and having a social drink with friends. I would really love to find somewhere to live in the North of Melbourne... Brunswick, Fitzroy or Collingwood. Or possibly in the South, St Kilda. Please let me know if you have a room, I'm happy to meet up! :)
I'm a success oriented person and I work a lot on the computer or ride my BMX a lot when I get home from my job. My current job titles are Customer Service Manager and Software Solutions Engineer for my father's caravan plumbing business. But I'm all for having a couple drinks on a Friday night and having great DNMs about life, the world, being a high quality person and other groovy stuff. Introverted by nature but not always; I'm a friendly person and love smiling and seeing others do the same. I'm also part of a Toastmasters public speaking club and just started taking drama classes. Here's the hard talk: I'm not the type to get in loud arguments or be overly emotional about things, I prefer to just talk about an issue and get it sorted. People with negative tendencies, pessimistic nihilists, lazy people, and people who complain about society, the government and other people a lot need not apply. I want a symbiotic relationship - I want to learn and grow with you. If you're into Tony Robins or similar, we should get along just fine. :)
Hey guys, I'm from India. I need a furnished accommodation for a month. I like to meet new people. I'm mindful of others' privacy. I do like to keep the place clean and expect to live with the same type of people. Have lived in shared house arrangements before. Easy going, clean and won’t miss a payment.
Hello, I’m Kayo, from Japan. I’m currently studying English at a language school and working as a barista during weekends. I’ve been living here for 2 years. I’m really tidy and reliable person. I’m not kind of party people, but I was a dance teacher in Japan, so I like dancing and music:) I’ve been to more than 20 countries, and really keen on talking with people who are foreigners to expand my horizons. I put my preferred stay length is 3 months because my current visa will have been expired on September but I’ll be back after applying my visa again. I’m looking forward to seeing your reply, thank you!
¬¬Good vibes people only, please¬¬ Seeking a sharehouse with students/young professionals! Parking is a must. I'm a full-time student and part time worker. My formal lease will be up at the beginning of August, so paying rent is never an issue. I'm only looking to live with people who I can click with on a good basis. People that I can either make good friends or close acquaintances with. I am clean and I do not make any noise- however I do expect to live with easygoing flatmates who respect me. I lead my own life and I expect to be able to come and go in the daytime as I please, just as you do. I am also vegetarian, dabbling in a bit of veganism whenever I try.
Hi. I work full time in the city. I’m looking to live walking distance to work, theatres, my gym, markets, restaurants, pubs/bars etc while saving. I’m easy going (no worries should be my middle name), normal, clean (not OCD), friendly, positive person. I love meeting new people, random moments, adventures and exploring. I hate drama so looking for a comfy relaxed home. I’ve been told I create a home wherever I go. :) I swim every morning so need a place with a pool and car space. I have furniture if need except white goods and your bedroom so good to start. Great if you have furniture too or not. Flexible with furniture :) Not a party house person but like to have friends over for dinner or bbq every now and again. Would love to have a husky. Nice to share a beer or meal and a laugh but respect each other’s space - pretty relaxed and normal really. Not a princess lol Happy to have a chat/meet and see if get along and check out some real estate :)
I grew up in Australia but some of my most favourable memories have been outside of Oz whilst travelling! I'm currently a student at RMIT and also work in a contact centre at the moment. In my spare time I love to dance (hip hop) or listen to music (recently got into vinyl records) and last but not least going for a drink with my friends.
Hi everyone! I'm a student studying molecular biology and neuroscience at University of Melbourne and planning to do longevity research in the future! I really like science, maths and exploring the world in general. I am also an environmentalist and tries to live as sustainably as possible, I hence am vegetarian(purely to reduce environmental impact) and I also have a lot of plants(in pots currently) and (a few) worm farms that would preferably do great in a house with a backyard(so i can use the garden to plant more things). Apartment will do just fine though! I like to play a lot of sports during spare time. Currently playing quidditch, squash and badminton. Always looking for new people to play sports with or gym/swim together at Unimelb's sports centre :) Currently looking for long term accommodation in Melbourne(Carlton preferred) that's within walking distances to the university campus in Parkville. Currently live in a student accommodation and the contract is ending 1st of July, 2018.
Hi, I’m very easy going, clean and respectful girl who’s working full time in Fitzroy( I will be moving to Melb from Syd on the 1st of July) and very keen to find a quiet and chill place to live where's close to my work place !
Hi I’m Tim. Moved down from Brisbane in February for a new job opportunity. I work in investment banking full time usually 8-6 Monday to Friday. I go the gym and go running most nights so get home a little later in the evening. Love watching sport and going to games. I have a few mates in Melbourne I catch up with on weekends.
I work full time as a Chef in Carlton. I am friendly, tidy, clean, conscious of others and love to have a good laugh! Easy going and down to earth. I work 4 days a week from around 10am - midnight. I am not home much. I enjoy cooking, listening to music, playing guitar (badly) and photography.
Working full time as a project coordinator in the construction industry. Ideally looking for a sharehouse with one or two others. Fairly busy during the week with work and other interests but enjoy being social and looking for a house where people enjoy having a conversation, a drink or two but also respect other people’s privacy. I have just moved back to Melbourne after travelling overseas and living in Bendigo for work. I am reliable, tidy and easy going. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in knowing more.
I am from the UK and currently working in Melbourne. I have lived in London for a few years and been in many houseshares! I am clean, tidy and respectful and am looking for somewhere sociable but also easy going and a place where I can chill after a day at work. I love my food (cooking and eating), cycling (on a good day!) and am really enjoying getting to know Melbourne.
I'm 23 and working full time at a not for profit organisation. I'm a reliable and tidy person - I always clean up after myself and happy to chip in to do a share of household chores. I'm pretty easy going and friendly — I need some quiet down time alone but also up for group dinners or chats over tea or wine! In my free time I like reading and checking out art galleries and local exhibitions. Also recently got into yoga so if you can recommend a good yoga place nearby that would be nice :-) Not into living in an intense party house but looking for a chilled out place where I can have friends over etc.
I'm an easy going guy, fun to talk to, a bit of a linguist and I love learning new languages. I'm a student at RMIT and currently undergoing a paid internship at WSP. I'm clean, tidy and I respect peoples privacy but I do enjoy the occasional cold one with a bit of conversation. Love sports so always down to talk about any of them. All in all, I'm a decent guy and a fun person to have around the house.
