Hi! I'm a quiet, tidy student from the country (near Ballarat) looking for a safe and convenient room in the city. I work at a pub in the city most nights, so I'll keep out of your way, but I am super keen to make friends and explore Melbourne. I love music, art and travelling, as well as my collection of plants.

I am moving to Melbourne from Sydney next week. I am easygoing. Tidy pretty chilled and fun. I go to the gym most days and will be out exploring and getting to know Melbourne so for the first few weeks you probably won't see much of me. Looking to move in with people that are similar easy going and easy to talk to.
My name is Gaia, I'm a 20 year old music student from India. I love writing, reading, watching films and drawing. Also, not to brag, but I've won the gold medal every year for being the fastest at hitting the snooze button on my alarm. I'm pretty chill and I can keep to myself when you need your space. I'm tidy and totally chill if you have pets because I adore animals.
I'm moving from Sydney to Melbourne in early February to study fashion at uni. I'm a fairly relaxed person and spend most of my time working or reading a book. Will be studying and working part time.
Hey guys! I am looking to move in sometime end of Jan/beginning of Feb. Looking to move in for a max of 6 months for now, will extend if I am happy with the place. My name is Danusha Gnanasakaran, I am 24 years old, I work in the cbd as a full time accountant (I promise I am not boring). It's so hard with this early bird thingy, so please find me and drop me a message if there is any room available. Happy to meet whenever needed after 5.30 every weekday and pretty much anytime during the weekend! Let me know if you guys have any questions!
Hi! I'm looking to move into an inner north room ASAP. Will consider Footscray area too. I have accommodation in the place I was renting in Geelong but I no longer need to be there so I'm returning to Melbourne. Me: Clean. Reliable. Respectful of all cultures and lifestyles and can move in any time. No gender household preferred. Audio producer by trade. Maybe I can produce that record you're sitting on if you let me sing harmony backing ;) You: Are who you are and I can fit in around that. I'm an asset to a house share situation so hit me up. I might banter in Suessian rhyme. You may find it sublime. And like my rent payments they are always on time. <3 I've been in Geelong a couple of years for education reasons but that's all in the past (hah). SMASH CUT: (Present Day) I am really looking forward to moving back into Melbourne and establishing myself here and would be grateful to take on that space you have available. Still have accommodation til Feb 15 but I can move at a moments notice and will do so if required. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hello! I am a professional working full time at a tech company and also study part-time after hours. Work and study keep me pretty busy so I'm either at uni two nights a week or studying at home. My spare time is quite limited but having said that, I do love to socialise and enjoy some housemate banter over wine and food when time allows. I try to keep active during the week and meet up with friends on weekends so I don't become a hermit. I am clean, respectful of personal space and pay bills on time. The reason I'm looking to move is that I've been living in the same rental apartment for the past 7 years in so I’m looking for a change of scenery.
Hello :) I'm a 25 year old British design graduate settling in Melbourne for the next 6/7 months. I'm slowly making my way around the world but stop to work frequently. Passionate about travel, music and meeting people I am really eager for a SOCIAL house share as I am new to the area but also super respectful of people's independence. A creative environment would be a bonus! Ideally looking for somewhere with a bit of outside space (even if it's tiny) in Melbourne south - as close to St.Kilda as possible as that's where I'll be working. I only have a few possesions so furnished is essential. Sociable, clean and pays rent on time. Also makes a mean Banana bread and endless cups of tea.

I love going out and hang out with friends, travel, hiking, enjoy casual drinking. I bring my friends over sometimes but not big party person. Always clean up afterwards. Originally from Melbourne and excited to be moving back home for Uni after living in Canberra for a number of years. I've just wrapped up my gap year backpacking through Europe and about to begin an arts degree at the University of Melbourne in Feb. I have family in Melbourne and I'll be staying with them until I find accommodation. I love meeting new people and having a laugh so would love to join (or team up and create) a social share house where chats over dinner or going for a drink together isn't unusual. With that being said, I also really value my down time and know when to respect other people's space. More than happy to keep everything tidy, pitch in with chores, be punctual with bills and generally be a kind, respectful roomie. I'm open to starting up a new share house so feel free to message me if you are as well :)
I am looking for a beautiful share house to call home ✨🏡✨ I work full-time at a mental health service - 8:30AM-5PM. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, swing dancing, & time with friends. I enjoy being in nature - bush walking & camping. I am a nerd, who loves to learn. I have lots of books - mostly on psychology, spirituality & health. I am friendly, open-minded, respectful & easy going. I like to live an environmentally conscious life, though I am still mastering this! I like to re-cycle & use natural products. I eat meat, though I am interested to try a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. I don’t mind what you do though! 🙂 I am respectful of shared living spaces & clean up after myself. WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN A SHARE HOUSE? A place to feel at home 🌻 ... with housemates that are welcoming, friendly, open-minded & fun. I am not interested in a party house, but I enjoy a social home - I am down to share a meal, a drink, a chat, or a laugh. I welcome movie & board game nights, & having friends over for dinner. I am very respectful of down time & personal space to. I prefer to live with non-smokers. I come with one bedroom of furniture & kitchen supplies. I will need some storage space for a few extra boxes. I look forward to hearing from you!
Friendly, honest, clean, enthusiastic and active ( cringe - writing this is the worst!) . Lived in Melbourne for 5 years then went back to NZ for 1.5 years for a work contract, but now I'm back. I like to get out and about doing exercise things, walking, exploring or some sort of activity with friends and having a place that I can feel comfortable to have friends over for a dinner, board games etc now and then is ideal. Occasionally like to have a night out but more often than not I'm pretty low key and enjoy relaxing, cooking, watching tv, movies and reading while at home. I work full time as a Project Manager and also own a businesses on the side with my best friend so I'm quite busy. I also have a long distance boyfriend who lives in NZ so I'll sometimes be away over there and he will occasionally visit me in Melbourne. I'm really just looking for a nice home to share with good people that enjoy some banter and a living a homely, welcoming atmosphere.
Looking for a room closer to the city for work. Generally keep to myself, but always up for a chat. Trying to save money to move overseas, so I am working quite a bit at the moment. Super tidy with dishes and whatnot, and pretty laid back and easy to live with. If you have something available, feel free to message me!
About to start my PhD in electrical engineering at RMIT. Looking for somewhere accessible to RMIT and general shops by public transport. In my spare time I'm baking, going to movies/theatre, travelling about Melbourne, and trying to cook Spanish food. Move in date is flexible. Looking for an unfurnished room as I have my own things.
Hey there! I've just moved to Melbourne from Sydney, and I'm looking for a room in a groovy share house. I am a clean and tidy non-smoker who enjoys a happy balance of action/adventure (surfing, bike riding, hiking) and quiet time (coffee, reading, petting animals). I will be studying science full-time from July, and until then I will be job seeking/working/soul surfing. If you think I could fit into your sharehouse shoot me a message :)
Hello. I'm James. I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane starting around March 1st (though if I found the perfect place I could possibly arrive sooner.) I am transferring at my job, full-time work. I'm looking for something similar to the experience I've had in Brisbane, which is one or two roommates who are easy/enjoyable to live with, very respectful of space/tidiness and good for a chat/drink every now and then. Being new to the city, I'm hoping to find a great location. Things I love: Arts/Music, reading, gym, cooking, spontaneous adventures/exploring the city....
I'm Fiona, I'm 30, I'm from the UK and I am in Melbourne on a working holiday visa (arrived 10th Jan) and I'm looking to rent a room. At the moment I am looking for a room for 6 months while I find my feet. I am currently looking for work in an office role - PA / Coordinator / HR as that is my background. I have enough money saved to live and rent for 2 months or so but I am on the hunt for a job already. I am a warm, friendly and interested person who likes to get to know my flatmates as well as having my own routine. I am clean, tidy, organised and am happy to relax at home but I also love being with friends, exercising, trying different places for food and drink and nights out. If you think I could be a good fit, please let me know. Thanks!
Hi there! I am looking for my own private room for rent. Looking to move in March 1st. About Me: I'm moving to Melbourne from Los Angeles, California to pursue a fitness career out there - yes, I'm American. :) I'm a personal trainer so I do live a very healthy and active lifestyle. I am very social and outgoing but do enjoy spending alone time as well. I'm 26 years old, not a drinker or a smoker and don't like to really engage in partying or clubbing often. I can ensure you that you will be renting to a very motivated and driven individual, someone who is highly responsible and trustworthy, someone who will clean up after themselves and keep the place nice and clean, someone who will respect your household and your belongings. Best of luck in your search. x -Kambry
Hi there! I am excitedly looking to move out of home for the first time. I am a student at ACU (Fitzroy) while working a part time job (Maribyrnong). I am active so I like to attend the gym and sporting commitments throughout the week. It would be great to make friends or socialise with my house mates in and/or out of the house, even host a party or gathering or two if the house mates are keen! However, as most people do, I like to have my own space at times and will respect your own space. I am looking for a home that is reasonably cheap and that is short walking distance to get to public transport and basic shops for example, grocery/supermarket. I am helpful and friendly, so I believe it is important that myself and my housemates contribute equally to cleaning and helping around the house :)
Hi there! I moved to Melbourne last year from Brisbane and I am in love with Melbourne! The past year I lived in a share house and it's been great fun but unfortunately the lease ends in Feb and I am wanting to try out something new. I am clean, always on time with bills and considerate of all my housemates. Keen for a drink after work, wander the streets of Fitzroy and find new places to eat / drink with my house mates or have a night in watching Netflix. But also more than happy to do my own thing. I have a stable full-time job working for an IT company in Richmond. I have been working there for about a year. I own a Vacuum cleaner, microwave and heaps of kitchen utensils among some other stuff and happy to pitch in if the house ever needs anything Let me know if you have any questions! Ana
Hi, We are Victor and Solange, a couple looking for a nice and respectful place to live. We lived together in Melbourne for about two years and a half while Victor was completing a Master of Film at VCA. At that time we shared different houses with people that now we can call our best friends. Solange (29) lives in Melbourne at the moment, she'll start a Master of Arts in February at Melbourne Uni, and Victor (33) is coming back to Melbourne to start a Phd at Monash University after some months of traveling. We are both very chill, tidy and friendly. We love traveling, hiking, music, movies, the sea, cooking, and sharing a laugh with friends. Please let us know if we sound like someone you'd like to live with. Victor & Solange
