I'm a medical student from Germany coming to Melbourne for a two month elective at the Royal Melbourne Hospital for my finals. In Germany I stay in a flat share with four girls that's why I would love to do the same in Melbourne. I'm an open minded, easy going person who loves to cook, go swimming, go partying and is also interested in culture. I'm looking for a good time in Melbourne besides the work at the Hospital :)
Hey I am Rory, a final year medical student from Aberdeen, Scotland. I am travelling to Sydney in order to complete my final Medical School placement in a Trauma unit and I would really like to find a great place to stay to make this the trip of a lifetime! In a nutshell, I am: clean, considerate, and wanting to go out and discover cool, fun things in Sydney with new people. I will be working in a hospital on the week days so I won't be around until evenings and weekends. I am always up for a laugh but can equally give any flatmates the space they need - I am easy going. If you would like references from previous land lords then that is no problem, it can easily be arranged. Thank you!!
I am a clean and fun roommate who is just here to have an amazing time in Sydney! When I'm at home, I love to bake and watch Netflix! I'm also respectful of people's schedules so you don't have to worry about a bunch of noise! To your advantage, I hope to travel most weekends so I won't be in your hair too much. But I also love having roomie bonding sessions, be it mani-pedis, ice cream dates, seeing good movies, or just chilling in the apartment playing funny card games!
I like to have fun, but also enjoy time to myself. Very mature for a 23 year old due to moving out of home at an early age. I work a lot and study at the same time.
Hi! I am a University of Melbourne student from Malaysia. I will be starting my first year of Bachelor of Science degree on the 24th of July. However I will be arriving Melbourne before the 24th and would like to move in a place as soon as possible. I find it lowkey weird that I am about to say all these nice things about myself but here you go. Firstly, I feel like I adapt very well to the environment I am in. If my flatmates are chatty I'm always down for a chat but ,if they are quiet I'll most probably be quiet too. Next, I would say that my tidiness level is above average. I will always clean after myself (the kitchen, bathroom, living space, etc.). So I kind of prefer to live in a clean and neat place. However, I can't ever see myself ever starting an argument over a tiny mess. Lastly, but most importantly, I am very open minded. I do not tolerate ignorance and any kind of hate towards any group of people. If you would like to know anything more about how I am as a flatmate, feel free to message me! Cheers!
Love cooking and happy to share (just have to ask or look like you want some haha). Enjoy's board games and console games. Usually sticks to myself and out of everybody's hair if I can. If anybody needs anything from me, i'm always willing to help. Likewise if there is any problems someone may have with me, i'm willing to listen and address them (Most of the time i don't even know i'm doing it. eg noise). Relatively social and pretty open minded and get along with everybody
Hi everyone, I am Philipp from Germany and I am looking for a room in a shared flat. Currently, I study at Melbourne University until July 2018. I'm a tidy, easy-going, open-minded, responsible and reasonable person who has experience with sharing a flat in Germany. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Philipp
Hi there, I'm Chris from Berlin, Germany. I just moved to Brisbane on the 27 of July as an exchange student at the QUT (Gardens Point). Staying in a hostel a.t.m. and looking for a nice flatshare for the next 4 month. I'm an open minded and communicative person and lived in a flatshare (male and female) for the last 4 years, so I'm used to cook, having a beer (German stereotype - check! ;), go out dancing, doing sports or just hang out, together with my flatmates. But I also totally understand if someone wants to be alone or just needs some rest. I'm also a clean and tidy person and I like animals, so if you have a pet, this shouldn't be a problem, except it is something creepy! :D Some more about me? For the last 6 years I worked as an event manager (in full-time) for the cultural department of one district office of Berlin. Next to my job I studied in the evenings for the last 2 1/2 years. But now I quitted my job to be able to study abroad for one semester and go on traveling afterwards. I saved enough money and will also try to get a job in bar or sth. similar, so no worries, I will be able to pay my rent easily (even without the job)! If you have any questions, just hit me up! Cheers Chris
I'm an international undergraduate student, on my last semester at UniMelb. I have been sharing a flat with others the past 2 years so I am very experienced, responsible and tidy around the house. I always pay rent and bills on time. I'm also social but polite and not too loud, I respect other people's privacy - because I understand I also need privacy. I don't smoke and party. I'll usually be out during the days either working or studying, and be home at nights binge watching on my laptop. I love to explore yummy food, visit markets/popups, and go to concerts :)
# Rental bio Hi ! I’m Chen. I saw your rental vacancy and am eager to inspect. 24 // Male //Perth born and raised //Sri Lankan Tamil ethnicity I can move in now or as late as August 31. I rocked up to Melbourne wide-eyed on July 24 but am currently rotting on my sister’s couch. I moved over here to study and so far I’m keeping my head down - mostly to avoid glimpsing my sis and her bf touch each other excessively. I’m technically here to complete a Master of Journalism, however a larger inspiration for the move was to get out of the inertia and monotony of my hometown. I fell in love with big cities and cultural epicentres after a recent trip to Toronto and NYC. My interests include psychology (which I have a bachelors in), hip hop, cinema, egg noodle soup, inhaling art and exhaling journal entries. I used to live with three friends from high school. We enjoyed drunken dancing, discussing Kendrick Lamar’s Damn and going through the BBC’s critics poll for the 100 greatest films of the 21st century. I’m clean and minimalist. I want to make the most of my time here - to meet diverse characters, have intoxicating conversation, inhabit new perspectives and be inspired by sublime views. If you think I’m a good fit, let me know. I’m keen to inspect. Cheers, Chen
I'm a final year student working part-time who's looking for a place to stay now that I've come back from exchange. During the week I will be pretty busy, but am always happy to have a chat/grab a coffee when free. I like to cook (mostly vegetarian, but I don't have a problem sharing a kitchen with people who aren't), binge-read and make travel plans I can't afford. I do have previous rental experience, and having lived in share-housing since my early teens, I can confidently say that I make a quiet, clean, drama-free housemate. Looking for a tidy property that's not a party house and preferably also non-smoking. I love animals, so if you have a pet/s that won't bother me in the least :)
Hi, I'm Kon, a Bassist who is very sociable, easygoing, vibrant, respectful and has a good sense of humour. Originally I'm Thai but grew up in New Zealand. I lived in Sydney for about five years, worked full time as well as studied and travelled around. Now studying part time and working full time in a hotel on Chapel St. I'm gonna live in Melbourne for at least three years to continue my music career. I'm in love with Reggae and Funk music (actually all genres but these genres are on top), I also love Art, animals, psychology, philosophy, being with people and drinking. Cheers
My name is Roberta, I'm 32 years old and I work full time in a supermarket in Balwyn. I'm looking for a furnished private room for the 11th of August. I love travelling, photography, music, reading, art, walking, learning new things, especially different cultures. I'm a quiet person but also sociable, well mannered, clean, tidy and respect others' privacy.
Mostly lost, parts found. Dreamer, believer, wandered, explorer:) I am originally from India, and have been living in Preston since 1.5 years. Currently pursuing my Masters while interning with a responsible tourism company. I'm a fun loving, easy going person, who is almost always waiting to get out of the city. Love hiking and going for treks in the mountains:) Love being out and about, or just hanging out with friends. I thrive on good vibes so that's what you can expect from me. I like keeping my environment clean, decorating the house with pretty lights and always creating an ambience that suits the mood. I respect other's privacy, but I also like having someone to hang with. In phases i tend do get stuck to my bed watching shows or perhaps studying when i absolutely need to. Just looking for someone chilled out yet responsible to share a house with. To the right match...hope we find each other:)
Easy going respectful and busy as I work full time and doing post grad studies. Comfortable with a period of between 3-6 months or even longer for right place. If you have Pets that's OK with me . Have always been inner city and working and living in Melbourne 6 yrs

I work part time and spend the remainder of my time reading, tryna learn piano and going on outings with friends. Have lived in share houses before and am tidy + reliable with cleaning up and paying rent/bills. I'm always up for the odd cook up/cheap wine when I'm around but respectful of others' space/time. I'll need a place with parking available (street is fine). If you think you've got something in my budget - max $650 p/m - shoot me a message :) Emily
