Hi there! I'm a Canadian moving to Melbourne in the new year to study towards a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Melbourne. I'm very friendly and easy to get along with. I am a tidy and responsible person and in my free time I enjoy working out, eating, photography and being outdoors. I can be a very social person and enjoy a good night out but I also enjoy having chill and quiet nights at home with a good book or movie!
I'm a 23 year old Melbourne dude who just got a new job on Brunswick st. I'm a huge music fan, and I like to spend my spare time seeing local artists play. I'm currently working full time as a chef, so I can cook yummy things at home. I'm a pretty quiet person, but I love meeting new people and hanging out with friends.
27yo female originally from South Korea, a graduate from UniMelb, been working in the corporate sector in South Korea, now back in Melbourne to do a master. I had some time gap and just came on a working holiday visa. I've just started a part-time job, and now looking for a room preferably to live (preferably with ppl around my age :) ) I love animals, edms, going to the gym, and cooking protein-rich healthy food.
I am starting full time work in Melbourne in December. Clean and tidy, good fun, active, love the outdoors, enjoying life, make a lovely home made pizza. Will be working/playing sport during the week but always down for a 10 pint Saturday.
I am Danica (mid 30s) old VCA PhD student from Europe. I am kind of a weird mix of intro- and extrovert—like to hang out and to meet new people, but need frequent alone-time moments. Enjoy music, specially old school deep house and techno, and disco. Like to talk about food, to cook and share meal, and enjoy good spirits. Come with a Boston shaker and crepes pan. Probably the most important quality for flatmates is to be open-minded and considerate. I like to live in clean and tidy space (especially kitchen and bathroom), but I am far from being obsessive, so I don't expect others to be any different :)
Hey guys! My friend and I are British backpackers here on a working holiday visa. Both of us are very laid back and enjoy exploring new places and making new friends. We have been in Melbourne for 6 weeks, but now we want to move out of a hostel and experience what it's really like to live here! We are both massively into sport; especially English football! As a massive foodie, cooking is my biggest passion and I love cooking for other people! My friend and I love chilling at the beach and eating out regularly. We have both already graduated from University back in England- so we are no longer party animals; but we enjoy some casual beers :) Thanks! Jason
Hey all, my names Khanh. I grew up in Sydney, i will be moving down to Melbourne for full time work as a Chef. I respect the privacy of others, i'm clean and tidy and will be at work most the time so I wont bother others!
Hi, me Nindya. I'm holding working and holiday visa for 1 year ahead. I'm a friendly, humble, nice, have great sense of humor, very neat & clean person. Currently working as freelance writer. also, talkative kinda girl! :) Didnt drink or smoke. Fluent in English, understand hindi (a bit) hehe :) I'm looking for a private room in a share house/flat/condo. I get used to make friends from any part of the world, so I can say, I get along easily with people. Thanks
FEBRUARY MOVE-IN DATE Hi! My name's Reyna, and I'm a 22 year old international student from the United States, starting my master's degree at UniMelb. I'm looking for a room near the Parkville campus, ready to move-in in February. (Unfortunately, I don't arrive in Australia until the very end of January) A bit about me: I love cats (and dogs), volunteering, learning new languages, reading, baking, hiking, and occasionally playing video games. I'm very open minded and enjoy having a drink and a good chat. I enjoy experimenting with baking, so I'll probably ask you to sample everything!
Italian guy just arrived here in Melbourne looking for a place where to stay, but not looking for a room, looking for a Home, where to enjoy spending time with my flatmates and have fun with them. Im a chill guy that likes to party and to get loud as well! Anyway Im also a respectful guy which understands that noise is not welcome if the day after other people are busy with work and that don't mind to keep things quiet during the week! Im Clean and tidy, I love music, sports, open air activities, watching movies and tv shows, streetwear clothing and sneakers, going out, going to clubs and music festivals, and traveling. I like as well to have house dinners and have a couple chill chats with the roommates in front of some dish I might have cooked, or just watch tv! It'd be great to share the house with Australian people just to live an authentic Aussie experience! If you want to know more something about me, not only you’re welcome to ask, I want you to ask me!
I'm a kiwi at heart but have been living in Melbourne for nearly 7 years. I'm reliable, clean, tidy and have been sharing for many years. I work full-time as a researcher and spend time catching up with friends and travelling. I am keen to find a place that I can call home and not just somewhere to rest my head
I love to build good relationships with those I live with. So count me in for a glass of wine after work and a buddy to go for walks with. I'm really considerate and always thinking of others. I'm also very Eco conscious and love to recycle!
I'm a 26 year old who's been in Melbourne for four years now - having previously grown up in Adelaide and also spent time in Sydney. I work in Digital Marketing in the music industry, so of you like a good show, I've always got some free tickets to share! In my spare time I play a few gigs around the country and manage some musicians, as well as am a freelance writer. Promise I'm not as lofty as that makes me sound. I have plans to work on my fitness but am so far failing, so bonus points if that's your forte. Looking to team up to start a new house - I come with a bunch of furniture too. I'm all the standard things: clean, reliable, pay bills on time. I'm all about some banter after work and adventuring on weekends.
I'm 22, recent graduate from the UK (Scotland, but don't worry you will understand the accent) I have been working here at a Richmond based consultancy firm in Melbourne. My visa lasts till August 2018 and I would love to stay out my visa and then either stay on or head back to the UK - We shall see what happens!! :) I'm very chilled out and an easy going character, bit of a clean freak but do love a chilled environment, and of course a beer after work. I don't take myself too seriously and get on well with anyone who can have a laugh and a joke. Music and sport in general (golf mainly) are big parts of my life and i'm rarely found not listening to music! I love to cook so if your a foodie......then we will get along ! (I'm a non-smoker too)
Hi, Im Andrew... Im 25 from the UK. I have been living in Melbourne for 7 months and looking for somewhere to live over summer. I'm real easy going, very open minded (not much phases me), clean up after myself, and happy to both socilise as well as keep to myself! I am out a fair bit between work, catching up with my other friends in Melbourne and play sport (I play for the Melbourne uni squash team). For some reason the picture I uploaded doesn't show me... if you can see the full pic I'm the blond boy in the middle
Hi there, I'm looking for a basic furnished room with a bed for 6 months from 27/01/2018, preference is to have my own ensuite / bathroom however this is flexible. I'm easy going and tidy to live with. I enjoy my own space but love to share chats, meals, movies and such. I'll be working full time in the city Monday to Friday. Love to cook an occasional shared meal and will help with household chores. Let me know if you have a suitable room and I'll be in touch. p.s. I'll be in Melbourne from 11/01 for inspections and meet 'n' greets.
We are 3 friends from Dublin, Ireland that have made the leap to come down under with our working holiday visas. At home we all held good positions as an engineer, head technician and support worker and we are currently seeking similar roles here in Melbourne. Collectively we're environmentally conscious, take pride in any place we call home and are inviting and respectful to others. Between us we enjoy yoga, movie nights, cross fit & trying to immerse ourselves into other cultures. We are ideally looking for a furnished house to call home while in Melbourne, however, we would also welcome the idea of living in a house-share should 3 rooms become available for us. Thanks for reading :)
A 21yr old easy to please and easy to get along with girl. Very social, but also enjoys Netflix in bed. Can cook a pretty impressive meal.. even when the contents of the fridge/cupboard are pretty low. My old housemates can defiantly vouch for me. Works in hospitality as a Barista. Loves an espresso martini, the beach, family, friends, movies and binge watching any TV show. I come with my own furniture, hula hoops, Netflix and succulent plants. Looking for like minded people in a relaxed and humble environment. Cheers Maisey Canning x
Hi, I'm Jake from Charlotte, North Carolina, USA and I am on a working holiday visa. I've been traveling since August 2016 and have been in Australia since March 2017. I've traveled most of western Europe, Morocco, Israel, and Vietnam prior to coming to Australia. I've lived in Sydney and the Gold Coast and have now moved to Melbourne to spend the entire summer. I am looking for a lease at least until March 1, and maybe longer, as I am trying to stay in Australia permanently via a sponsorship or a work visa, and Melbourne already seems like a great place. I am a great roommate to have as I am clean, considerate, and respectful. I am social and active, and I will have a full time job while here in Melbourne. I enjoy working out at the gym, playing soccer, riding bicycle around Melbourne (yet to be purchased), THE BEACH, movies (of course), with the occasional night out on the weekend. I'm also a pretty good cook. I worked for Lion Nathan (XXXX/Tooheys) in Sydney for 4 months, and then got a more casual job at The Coffee Club in Gold Coast. Here in Melbourne, I will likely do construction work of some sort or work an office job. I am looking for jobs now, but I can ensure that I have no money issues as I worked for a large mortgage bank for many years back in North Carolina. Thanks and I look forward to meeting you.
