We are Kostas and Elena, a young couple from Greece. Both of us are 27 years old, and we are working at Melbourne the last 9 months. We like to meet new people and cultures, and both of us have experience living with other people and respect their privacy, while at the same time like to socialise and have interesting discussions. Elena is an accountant and likes music, dance, exercising and travelling. Kostas is an IT engineer and likes music, reading books and exercising too.
We are a friendly and easy going couple here in Melbourne on a working holiday. We are originally from California and previously spent a year in New Zealand on a working holiday after traveling through Southeast Asia for 2 months. We enjoy meeting new people and love cooking, but are respectful of privacy and always clean up after ourselves. We like to take it easy during the week and to explore the city on the weekends. We don't have any pets ourselves, but absolutely love animals.
Hi I'm Matilda :) I'm currently a first year nursing student at the Australian Catholic University. I'm super friendly, clean and tidy. I'm moving back to Melbourne to start full-time work as a Architect after a summer travelling NZ and working on my parents farm. I've lived in two share houses for the last 5 years (three years in Geelong, two years in Armadale) and look forward to finding another place I can move into long term. I'm pretty easy going and am always up for shared meals, games and a few drinks! In my spare time like to got to the footy/cricket, catch a gig, work on and ride bikes, cook and garden. If you place has shed space or room for a veggie patch that's huge for me! I start work on April 3 but have places to stay if need be. Something that's available in early April would be rad. Cheers!
Hello! My name is Meg, I'm a registered nurse and I work full time shift work. I'm currently living in a share house in Hawthorn and I have previously lived in Clifton hill so I have lots of experience living communally. I'm a friendly gal, pretty chill and like living in a clean environment. I'm looking to live with like-minded people who enjoy sharing the occasional meal, going out for brunch or a glass of vino. In my spare time I enjoy checking out art exhibitions, going to music festivals, gigs, yoga and travelling. I'm a very social girl however I'm not looking for a party house. If I sound like someone you might like to live with, let me know.
Singaporean, mixed of Portuguese, Indian and Javanese. Im always up for a beer or two, loves COD and battlefield, try to go cafe/bar exploring, music fest/films every now and then, when commitments does not get in the way. Busy with further studies in nursing, working, gym and a little bit of social life. Witty, friendly, honest, love my own privacy and respect others' and Im house-trained. Rent is paid on time, been in a couple share houses, lives in Melbourne for a couple of years now. Anal about my own cleanliness but not nit-picky with others. Pretty tamed in the week and socialise on weekends! Looking for a home with friends of similar interests, not just housemates. Cheers
I'm a friendly, respectful adult studying my final year of Paramedicine at ACU in the city. That doesn't mean you can do adventurous things and be safe! It means I will probably want to join in the fun! Know that a comfortable balance of space and socializing is key to enjoyment of a home for everyone. Happy to share meals as well but I don't eat much meat. Also working at the climbing gym GravityWorx in Coburg. Happy to answer any more questions! Douglas.
Weekdays: 9-5 work at Swinburne as a learning technologist. Some evenings I'll go to dance class or catch up with friends over a dinner/wine. Weekends: Getting out of the city, walks/hikes, scuba diving, camping, adventures etc. I am definitely have a work-to-live mentality and I treasure my weekends. I also like going out for the odd drink/night out dancing with the girls. I like cooking a lot, and I take my kitchenware very seriously. I am in a furnished house at the moment so I won't bring furniture but I will contribute some nice kitchen knives and other kitchen items. My wishlist for a house includes tidy and genuine roommates, an indoor toilet (I know this from experience), and a gas stove top (ideal but not necessary). Other than that I'm pretty relaxed. I hold my weight around the house in cleaning, purchasing shared items like toilet paper, cleaning products, etc. My move in date is flexible, but If I get on the lease now, I may stay only for a night or two for the first few weeks.
Recently got a full time job and am looking for a fun sharehouse that's close to Richmond/Abbotsford. I'm easy-going, enjoy meeting new people and am always up for a good time. I'm tidy, thoughtful and respectful, and while I generally prefer to be around people, I do occasionally need some time to myself. Now for a list of random things I like: music, beer, books, coffee, art, being active, red wine, peanut butter, brunch, whiskey, movies, cooking, making a fool of myself, intelligent conversations, stupid conversations, travel, naps. Oh, and I like guys.
Hi I'm Simon. I'm fulltime employed, tidy, reliable, friendly, genuine, funny, and easy going. I'm hoping to find some friendly folk to share with. I play a bit of guitar, swim a couple of times a week, play golf occasionally, and I build aeroplane parts for a living.
Family, My name is Benny. I am a 23 year old dude who works with the next generation of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander leaders. I also play sport. Both of the mentioned sees me travel quite a bit! I am NO-maintainance, no fuss and all smiles! Holla at yo boy!
I'm 32 and I'm moving from the UK to Oz in September.I'm gonna be working full time as a nurse in Coburg. Looking for a mixed houseshare in good location for shops and transport links. I like to stay healthy, I cook good clean food and go to the gym regularly. I enjoy a good social, eating out and the occasional night round a few bars. Overall, I'm a easy going tidy individual who wants to live with like minded people. If you think I'm suitable then drop a msg 🙂

My name is Jacob, I'm a 17 year old from Melbourne, I usually keep to myself and am very clean. Although I am young I am quite mature- I have lived alone for 3 months in the past before resigning from my old job. If I see something dirty around the house I'll usually clean it. I am currently unemployed however that may change very soon. In my spare time I am a transport enthusiast and will take photos of transport when possible (If you need an event photographer let me know- I may be able to assist)
I am a fun and outgoing independent young adult who is moving over from New Zealand to begin a role as an engineering graduate at Accenture in Melbourne. I enjoy going out, having a good time and socialising with friends. New to Australia I would love to explore my surroundings go out and enjoy what the city has to offer! I like to live with clean surroundings, enjoy cooking and cleaning up after myself. My hobbies include playing sports such as tennis, badminton and cricket socially and I do like to stay fit by either playing these sports or going for runs/gym. I enjoy people's company and I would like to think people enjoy mine too! I think I would make a great flatmate to live with!
Hi there, My name is Amelia, I'm a 28 year full time professional working in the CBD. Tidy and easy going, I'm looking to live with like minded people. Originally from the UK, I have lived in Melbourne for over year. Enjoy the odd glass of wine with flat mates and like my own space too :) Interested in flats within the Brunswick area as I'm hoping to fit in some short courses in the evening. Look forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Amelia
Hey! I'm Marc and am looking at relocating from Brisbane to Melbourne. I'm clean, considerate and friendly to live with. I work full time so I keep myself very busy during the week. On weekends I love spending time outdoors going hiking or rock climbing whenever I can. I'm pretty easy going so I'm happy to keep to myself but also happy to have a few laughs and a beer or two. I'll be in Melbourne from 03/04/2017 so feel free to shoot me through a message!
I'm 21, a full time student at the University of Melbourne (third year) and working part time as well. I've been living independently for the last three years, so I'm properly house trained. I'm tidy, polite, and personable, and I enjoy the occasional hang out in the living room but I also respect the space of others. I keep a clean house, I don't have people over every weekend, and I'll probably be spending a bit of time at my girlfriend's place anyway. If I sound like someone you'd be interested in living with, feel free to send me a message here!
We're both young creatives from the UK, over in Melbourne on working holiday visas. We've spent 4 months in Sydney and are now looking to live and work in Melbourne, seeking out its arts and coffee scene. We will be working as full time baristas in the city and are keen photographers, so we'll usually be out and about. We're clean, tidy and sociable, but know the boundaries when it comes to personal space! We get along with pretty much anyone we meet so don't be shy! We're fun, friendly people who enjoy good music, good food and good coffee. Ideally we'd like to live north of the centre and its surrounding eastern suburbs. We look forward to meeting you!
Hi everyone! My name is Ariel Dawn. I am a 23-year-old Canadian who has just moved to Melbourne after travelling for 7 months and will be living and working here indefinitely. I am a writer and musician, and prior to leaving home, I worked at a VFX studio, a poppin' local craft beer bar, and volunteered regularly at my local yoga studio. If you'd like, you can check out some of my most recent projects at my site. Looking for an easygoing and chill group to share a home with. I'm not a huge partier but love to share good wine and beer, have a knack for baking, and enjoy going on creativity-inspiring adventures.
I'm an argentinian traveler. I'm arriving to Melbourne towards the end of March. I am very clean. I love to cook and bake so I will probably fill up the place with the smell of brownies and cookies and I'm happy to share.
I'm extremely easy to get along with and if I'm not working, I'm either sleeping or out of the house having lunch etc with friends. I'm a bit of a science geek by day but am a Quiz Meister's Trivia Host by night.... So basically I'm full of random potentially useless info that you might find amusing. I love hanging out and having a chat too but I'm definitely not overbearing.
I'm 20 and only just moving to Melbourne to start to Uni. Coming from a rural town to this big city. There's so much more happening and more to learn. Looking more some ripper roommates that are social, mad fun and not slobs. Beer goes in the fridge, tomato sauce goes in the cupboard.
I'm a 29 year old American guy that has just finished backpacking in Asia for a year and now I'm settling in Melbourne for awhile. I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months, potentially longer. I worked in IT for 4 years in Chicago but I'm currently in search of cafe work (hopefully day hours). I'm laid back, considerate, keep things clean and have been told that I'm a very easy person to live with. I enjoy running, biking, and cooking. I'm not a huge party person, but definitely enjoy a few drinks after work and the occasional night out. Since I'm new to the city it would be great to become friends with my future flatmates but it's not a must.
Easy going, fun and friendly looking for other friendly and liveable housemates to possibly start a new sharehouse or join a good existing one. I've been back in Melbourne just under a year having lived in London and travelled around the world for 3 years. I'm looking for some chilled but social housemates! Have done the houseshare thing before and made some awesome mates from it! As long as you're social, respectful and up for a good time we'll get along fine! I work full time in the city so anywhere inner northern suburbs is ideal.
I am that housemate you were looking for. You know the one, neat/tidy, bubbly and an absolute pleasure to be around, Ha! My name is Bianca, I am 29 years old and I am working fulltime as a Lawyer. In my spare time I usually enjoy going out with friends, attending my weekly yoga class or going for a run. If you would like to know more, feel free to ask.
Hi fellow flatmaters, I'm very social, respectful, trustworthy, nice, clean and tidy. I work in hospitality so my hours do vary. I require a fully furnished room with bed, built in wardrobes and draws etc. Also parking is essential. I look forward to hearing from you.
Working professional, reliable private and friendly female looking to share, preferably in a place that has a courtyard or yard as I have a 9 yo staffy who's super friendly and likes company. He's fully housetrained - so am I lol. Moved back to melbourne for work. I like to chill on wknds seeing family and friends, fairly settled with a routine during the week of work, gym and walking my dog daily. I like to think I live a fairly healthy lifestyle, like cooking from scratch (mum's veggie patch is going to come in handy yay), I'm clean and considerate as have been in a share household for most of my adult life. Don't mind the occasional outing, but prefer dinners with great company. Have some furnishings but not much. Can purchase if needed for a share house that's new. Looking for another person th share with to create a home rather than somewhere to just live. Pls msg if you're looking to look together for a new place also.
I am a postgrad student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Environmental Study; commencing my study in Feb 2017. I previously worked for NGOs focusing on sustainability issues and community and gender-inclusive empowerment programs in Indonesia. I have tangible passion in environmental protection and human right issues especially the queers since I'm gay myself. I Love to travel, read, listen to music and party when it is the right time to do so. I can assure you that I'm an open-minded person and respect differences and diversity because I believe everyone is unique and has a right and freedom to do what make them as a person and of course happy. I'm very tidy and always take a good care of my house. If you require a reference letter from my previous landlord in Perth, I'd be happy to do so. Oh yeah, almost forgot, I love cooking Indonesian cuisines too when I have some spare time and always proud and glad to introduce it to my friends from different background. 🙂 I love to make friends with people from any backgrounds, this was also the reason why I became an Airbnb host when I was in Jakarta. Please feel free to ask me any questions. Cheers, Randi
Hi! We are 3 backpackers, James, Tom and Ellen, are looking for somewhere to stay. We are all employed and have a steady income. I enjoy house/techno music, all sports (bar AFL, don't get it) and anything social. Ellen is loves music, especially 80s British music (e.g. The Smiths), and not-for-profit organisations. Tom is well travelled, has been across most the world and plans to see New Zealand next. Hope to hear from someone soon! Thanks, James
Hello potential room mate! My name is Paul, Recently moved to Melbourne from the far north coast of NSW I'm currently working as a chef in a busy cafe in Brunswick east and I'm in need of a new home! Quite a sociable guy i like to relax in my room or catch me outside having a brew! Always down for a chat and a hang but honestly i just want to come home and kick my feet up and have a chill.. Really tidy and always cleaning up after myself. You'll most likely catch me making massive meals for the week or even have a bake off so there will always be a cake or something sweet flying around to eat! I like to get out on my days off and explore the city or hang with friends, I never bring the party home. Thanks for reading, hope to hear from you!
I am a clean and independent person, who is very house trained (haha) I work full time and am often working long hours, I also study so a reasonably chill place would be ideal. I am 21, though please don't let that deter you, i'm so far from a party girl its ridiculous, i have shared multiple times and also lived independently, I'm super reliable with rent and bills so that will never be an issue at all! Move date set as April 15- but flexible as to moving earlier or later, just want to find somewhere that's a good fit!
Hey, I'm a very friendly, sociable, hard-working 25 year-old who has lived in Melbourne her whole life. I work full time as a radiographer (yes, that means shift work) and I'm generally very busy in my free time. I enjoy keeping fit and play a multitude of sports and I like running also. I'm a big foodie and love to eat out and cook at home too (happy to share the household cooking duties). I love a good glass of wine (or two, or more), binge watching trashy movies/tv shows and hanging out with mates. My family and friends are really important to me and I would like to live with people who I could eventually consider close friends as well. I'm looking to live somewhere modern, reasonably spacious and close to my work. I would need somewhere convenient to park my car (on, or off street) as I participate in an on-call roster and need to have easy access to my car in those instances. Ideally I'd like an ensuite or my own bathroom, but it's not a complete deal breaker. I'd really like to get the ball rolling as my current flat mate wants to move out and I don't want to foot the bill in our existing apartment for both of us for too long! Please feel free to contact me if you're interested in getting to know more about me!
Ahoy, I'm Ollie. A relaxed, employed 29 year old, and part-time psychology student. A bit of an ambivert, I comfortably flow between socialisation and independently pursuing my own curiosities included, but not limited to learning Sitar, an array of little projects, and plenty of cooking (if only to keep ample hummus abound). I could bring to a house a lush tea and spice assortment, a decent sound system (don't worry, I have headphones), solid computer know-how, a washing machine, and a presence that is well honed in the art of taking care of oneself and being a conscientious housemate. I've run share-houses before and can summon references from both landlords and former housemates if need be. All said, hopefully I'll hear from you soon. Best of luck, Ollie.
All the nitty gritty stuff! I'm originally from nz ( currently there ) but have been offered a work transfer in Melbourne! So of course with out a doubt I accepted it!I'm a very sociable person! I love getting to know people whether it's over a glass of O.J or a good ole coffee! I'm financially stable! My hours are 7-7 sometimes 6! So won't be around for much other than to catch up on a years worth of lost sleep! I love a good banter! As well as the odd, uber eats and chill kinda shindig! I don't drink, only on the rarest of occasions like Jesus is going to walk this earth rare 😂 and I 110% do not smoke whether that's cigarettes or weed 110% no, not against it just not my cup of tea, I'm a clean freak, I love living and being in a clean environment! So I'll do more than my fair share of house work without a hassle! I love to keep active, running and the gym is my time where I feel the happiest so I like to keep on top of that at least once every day! And yeah! I'm really easy going! Pay bills on time, respectful of everyone's own personal space!! I'm a real people kinda person but also enjoy my alone time! But if the shoe fits please let me know would love to hear from you
I'm a very social person, always having a laugh and enjoy kicking back more now rather than partying although Im a big techno enthusiast. I pretty much keep low key these days. I worked at Bupa Health Insurance for almost 2 years and left recently as Im gonna look for something else but I'll never be late with rent or anything to do with finance. I've gotten into the nature side of things lately so I do enjoy going to parks, beaches etc but also enjoy just chillin at home. I get along well with pretty much anyone and we will definitely become friends rather than just housemates. Im open to pretty much any area not just the area I put in lol
Hey Guys, I’m moving back to Melbourne after a stint in London and I need somewhere to live! I’m great to live with because I'm a neat FREAK (I’ve been known to do laundry when drunk) and I’m also an expert at ordering in (in the past 3 months I’ve cooked 5 times), although don’t let that deceive you because I’m still an alright cook. Another great thing is that I’m a ‘social media expert’ well that’s what my colleagues in London called me so I’m always there to help you draft the perfect insta caption. Part of my neat-freakiness is that I don’t throw parties at home so you don’t need to worry about me trashing the place, and I also have my twin brother’s Netflix account (free to use) which honestly is a pretty good deal. I’m pretty easy with where I live as long as it’s central to the city. My goal is to live near/on a tram line because prior to London I was confined to Williamstown… So hit me up if you want some sass in your life because I’ll bring it in bucketloads.
Swedish girl, first time in Australia on a working holiday visa. I'm looking for a place I can call home for a while. Clean, cosy and relaxed. Overall I'm easy going and social. Love staying in for a movie night or just chill with some good food on the table. Been traveling on and off for 5 years. My plan is now to be in Melbourne for minimum one year. Im working full time in the city so will be working both day and night shifts. On my days off I usually spend the day hanging out with friends. Like indie, rock and electronic music. Up for partying and bar hang outs here and there. I'm an easy, social person. Don't take to much space. Like to keep myself active. Have no problems with animals. Love them all, so far. Just text if you have any more questions👌
I'm a respectful person, engaged in a busy life, looking for a creative, quiet and peaceful sanctuary. I have a stable, long-term work situation and study part-time. I value my independence and currently enjoy living on my own, however now that I have gone back to uni this year, I need to adjust my living arrangements to suit my new lifestyle.
Canberra raised now a Melbourne northsider looking for an unfurnished room in the neighbourhood when my Carlton North lease is up. Work a 9to5 in sales by day and study post grad in procurement part time. In my spare time love making music or playing around on my dj set. Great to join a house that's up for hang outs, gigs or the occasional beers at home. I'm easy going, social and considerate of space and privacy. Been living in sharehouses for a while, so I know to pay bills on time and keep tidy. Anything else you'd like to find out? feel free to ask!
I have plenty of sharehouse experience, living with a variety of characters over the years, I'm independent but sociable and enjoy catching up with housemates. I like movie nights, occasional shared meals and keeping things clean - and if you have any animals I will adore them! Vegetarian, working full-time (normal hours) in the human rights space.
Hey there ! I am a french girl, travelling and working here in Melbourne. I'm looking for a place to live and share, but no worries, I am pretty quiet, pay my rent on time and respect others privacy. On the other side, I am pretty bubbly and outgoing, and I always enjoy some time chatting ( and let's be honest, I also love good shared meals ). I'm pretty into arts, I actually do play guitar, but I always manage to keep it low not to disturb anyone. Feel free to contact me and ask me more questions if you want to ! I'll be happy to be in touch ! Cheers
I'm an ESL teacher and Master degree student. Respectful, tidy guy who enjoys a good chat as well as time alone. I play the double bass and am looking for housemates who wouldn't mind me practicing every once in a while.
Hey my name is Simone I would describe myself as a very easygoing and passionate human being. I love to have conversations, I always loved to see my housemates as a family.. I'm a 26 y.o. Songwriter/composer, I love movies and books, I work as a part-time visual merchandiser/sales assistant.. I'm ok with pets, love cats and dogs even though I don't have one! I'm a smoker but not a heavy one, so I'm ok with a free smoking house! I'm simply looking for some great people to live with! I'm sure we'll have fun ;)
Hi, I'm Gab, I'm 28 and I work in marketing for a gallery. I'm interested in travel, photography, art and music. I've spent the last 5 years working in advertising and marketing, and slowly ticking countries off my list throughout Latin America. I spend my weekends out at brunch, gigs or having a few drinks with friends. Always on the hunt for the perfect bloody mary. I'm an easy going person, and am very reliable and independent. That's me in the middle with some pals at Meredith.
I moved to Melbourne from Byron Bay one year and a half ago, and am currently looking for a new share house situation. I am working full-time at the State Library while finishing a degree in counselling. I enjoy meditation, running, yoga, danging, drawing/painting, gardening and cultural things around the city. As a housemate I am a clean, respectful, and organised. I am always happy to contribute what is needed cleaning wise in the house. I am looking to live with people who are active, independent, able to respect personal space, but also friendly, creative and fun! I prefer the house to be a home rather than just a place to sleep, so open to sharing the occasional dinner or venturing out for a fun activity.
