Heya! Im looking to move to inner west-side Footscray area within March-May. Open-minded to central Brunswick near Greens cafe but would prefer Footscray as my new stomping ground. Looking to share with two or more people in a spacious bright house. I have alot of personal nik-naks and clothes so would prefer a bigger sized room ideally with a BIR to store all my goodies. A little backyard area where we can chill and even start our own veggie patch would be great too! Bonuses would be: An ensuite, depending on the extra cost of it. A fairly updated bathroom and kitchen would be preferable too! Overall Im searching for a spacious but cosy place that is more on the quirky side (rather than modern apartment) that we can all make our own little home abode. Me Me Me I'm about to start studying Fashion Styling at Brunswick RMIT or possibly mid-year. So will be either studying full time or working fulltime. I'm easygoing and a mix between loud and quiet. I enjoy chilling out with a home cooked meal while watching Girls or Fresh Meat or trashy tv shows like The Bachelor or shows like River Cottage and Donna Hay, all depending on my mood. Also every so often enjoy heading out for some local quality grub and a drink. Definitely keen on being friends and not just roomies however I also need my alone time. I enjoy various things but mostly happy pondering about life and chatting about things like art, fashion, design, food, travel, music, health, wellbeing, politics and the world! I've rented a couple of places in Brunswick and Fawkner and had good experiences with both houses/roomies. Perks of having me as your roomie: I love cooking; mostly healthier/natural options. Im silly and can enjoy a laugh, I like humour such as Ricky Gervais, Girls, Daria, TwentySomething, Seinfeld etc. Im mostly considerate and clean up after myself, ensuring the toilet paper is stocked up, my hair is out of the shower drain and if Im heading to the shops I will ask if you need anything. Holla at me if Im your type of roomie!

Hi. My name is Bowen. Currently studying architecture at the University of Melbourne. Uni hours are fairly standard with a few late nights during due dates. Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic, clean and tidy! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. Looking to rent a place for a minimum of 4-6 months and can extend it if it works out fine. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Also enthusiastic about patting dogs and watching funny dog compilation videos. I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along and would like to team up or you have a room available in your house, hit me up! I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 25th of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)

I'm from a small suburb of NSW, looking to move to Melbourne for University studies. Ideally, I would like to team up with someone to find a place in Carlton, as I plan on studying at The University of Melbourne. If I am not rotting away in my bedroom from study, you'll find that I am someone who will socialise and actively enjoy another's company. I enjoy photography, working out at the gym and reading whenever I can spare myself some downtime. :) I'm looking for about one or two housemates who are students and would like to find a place with me. Please let me know!

I'm social and great at meeting new people. I'm keen for quiet nights in or group nights out, I've lived in a shared house for the last 5 years so I know whats the go when it comes to everyone getting along and pulling there weight. Ideally looking for my own room in a shared house but will consider other options, and I've decided to settle Melbourne as its close to a lot of the friends I've made when they visited the UK. I have work lined up in the new year but for now I'm enjoying the holiday season as I hope you are too! I love life but I'm cool about it haha Look forward to hearing from you Craig

Hey I'm Dan, 22, full time employed in financial services, pretty extraverted. I'm relatively new to Melbourne and looking to move near the CBD. Would love to find one or more cool housmates. I like Great food, beer, wine & whisky and I'm told I'm excellent company to binge watch nextflix and drink cheap wine with. If your a fan of Doctor Who, Game of Thrones or South Park that's already a great start. I'm pretty chilled out, like to keep a clean place. I don't have any gender or cultural preferences on who I live with, as long as your friendly and good company I'm we will get along great. Also somewhere with a car park would be great.
Hiya I'm a gal from England currently on exchange for a year studying at Monash university. I've been here for one semester where I stayed at halls but am looking to move into the city to be closer to shops and bars. I'm really sociable and love going out for drinks and meals but my days will mostly be spent at uni and studying. I'm clean and am more then happy to share cleaning responsibilities around the place :)
I consider myself to be a peaceful, friendly individual with an open mind. I enjoy spontaneous adventures, treks, Music festivals, fitness/MMA. I'm someone who enjoys the company of others and enjoys time by myself equally. I tend to keep things tidy as I have mild ocd. Un-winding with a drink/smoke or some meditation is something I tend to engage in. Im from Bombay, India and currently doing my Masters in Monash. Will be spending most of my time studying or working part-time. Looking forward to meet my new flatmates.
Hi, I'm Jing. I'm looking for a place (a private room or a studio) to stay before March 17th. I will live with my boyfriend Chris (from march 17th for two months) when he visits Melbourne. So we want to find a place suits couples. I come from Mainland China originally and have lived in Thailand for 3-4 years. I have a part time job in Melbourne and I study a program here. I can move in anytime between Feb 25th to March 16th. I'm an easy-going and open-minded girl. And I like to make my place clean and cozy. Most of time I will be outside working or explore the city or just reading in my our room. I'm a professional translator, so we can communicate easily. My partner Chris is a computer engineer from America. He lived in Thailand for many years and can speak good Thai. He is very quite and tidy too. Both of us neither drunk or smoke. He will be exploring Melbourne and coding in our room most of the time. If you are looking for a quiet, tidy and respectful couple to stay in your place , you may want to contact me right now:) Because my main job is located in CBD, so prefer to find a pace very close to CBD or a place with super easy access to public transportation with 30 minutes maximum travel to CBD. Best Jing

Hello! We are an international couple (American and Kiwi) looking for a room in a flat of fun loving, friendly, and respectful people. We've been living in Melbourne for a little while now, but are looking to move somewhere more affordable and maybe a little more fun. We don't smoke, we do enjoy a beer or three every now and then, and we're always out and about, seeing what this amazing city has to offer. We are looking to make the most of the rest of our time in Melbourne!

My names is Harry and Im a 28 year old Londoner who has recently moved to Melbourne! I'm studying graphic design at RMIT and will soon be working part time for a music distribution company. I'm a fun, considerate person who would be an asset to any house /apartment (if I do say so myself haha). Although I am a studying again, I treat this as a full time job and am fully respectful of house rules, particularly with regard to keeping things clean and tidy. I am personable and friendly and will contribute towards the house as much as possible, hopefully making my living there a great experience for all! I came here independently so am excited to meet and get to know new people! I'm big on the gym and food so if you're looking for someone to eat with/train with, I might be the flatmate for you. Saying that, I fully understand that people have there own lives to lead so this can be as little or as much as you want (or not at all). If you like music and going out would also be a bonus as a I do like to experience Melbourne nightlife (or just the pub) on occasion but I am also respectful towards others peoples lives. Best, Harry
Are you in need of a housemate? A friend? Maybe just some random who will offer to make you tea each night? Hi, you might remember me from, 'has Cameron got his wallet?' 'Where's his phone?' 'Yep, he missed his flight again.' ... I cook the worlds best spag bol. theres no joke there. I like beer, wine and tea -but never at once. Im clean and dream of a minialist lifestyle, but then, Im always fighting the inner voice of "you can't throw that out. Mum gave you this ugly and utterly useless ornamental pot with no function from Vietnam and one day she might come by -even though she hasn't in two years- and know that its gone!" I work and study like most average joes. Easy going, out going, clean. (Mum was also the type who made us meticulously scrub the toilets before the cleaner came.. rubber gloves and all) ..Please don't let me become my mother. My sublets ending and looking for a permanent home north of the river, collingwood, fitzroy, carlton, clifton hill even richmond ect ect. 170-230p/w. I'd stay south for the right house down here. House or terrace though, not so keen on an apartment. But who knows
working 5 days a week as a waxing therapist in brunswick. very neat and independant but love a good chat. im pretty social but generally keep my social life out of my home! looking to live with people around my age & possibly make a friend out of my housemate/s
G'day! I'm Olly, halfway through my bachelor in Architecture. Just moved down from Brisbane looking for cheap rent haha, I'm pretty social/easy-going. I consider myself pretty tidy (from what others have said) and enjoy the occasional old trash talking. I don't expect to be home all the time; during the week I'll be working/studying and enjoy surfing so expect to be pretty busy on the weekends too!
I'm an 18 year old female who will be starting my first year of Nursing at RMIT city campus. This is my first time moving out but don't be put off! The reason why I'm moving out of home is because my guardians are moving overseas. I currently have a job so I'm financially stable. I'm a very independent, mature and easy-going person. I'm respectful as well as clean and organised. I do have a boyfriend so I would need you to be okay with him coming over quite often! There's so much more about me but I'll leave it at that!
Hello, I will be moving to Melbourne from New Jersey USA to spend a semester abroad at Victoria University. I am hopeful that a flat will be the better option for me instead of Uni Accomodations and would like to find others that think likewise. I am 23, female and originally from Brazil. I speak portuguese spanish english fluently and study marketing communications (PR). I wouldn't mind having male, female or any other identifiable gender or sexual orientation as roommates. My biggest concern about living in a flat instead of uni living is that I wont make friends and enjoy myself so I would love to find people that are fun spirited, like to travel, exercise, and party. I am currently seeking a furnished room for myself (house/apt/townhouse) close to Victoria University in Footscray or West Melbourne area.
Heya! My names Jayden and I'm 20. I've recently moved to Melbourne from New Zealand for 6 months to a year for a working break before I return home to complete an arts degree in Anthropology. I'm a real genuine and friendly bloke, always down to meet new, beautiful souled, like minded people. Hit me up if you're looking for someone whom: - Is super friendly and a good conversation - Loves wine and fancy cheese - Is a lover of all peoples - Always down for a cheeky beer and a yarn - Loves a good boogie - Is into good tunes - Is someone who can provide hugs at the best of times - Can also provide a pretty smile for you every morning - Can move in whenever suits - And is an overall chill dude There's a lot more to me than that, I just find it really hard putting myself into words. But If I sound like someone you could live with, give me a buzz.
G'day! My name is Hans, and I'm 21 year-old viking from Denmark who's very interested in finding a place. I've been having fun in Melbourne for about 3 months now and I'm loving it here! I work as a waiter/bartender at Riverland Bar. I'm very open to meeting new people and love going out to see awesome stuff, everything from hiking and biking to concerts or festivals. Additionally, i speak fluent banter. I've lived abroad in Singapore for 8 months and stayed in hostels around Asia for another 9 months, so I definitely know the importance of respecting privacy and cleanliness. These trips abroad have made me quite mature for my age as well. Anyway, I'd love to meet up for a chat or go for an inspection, i'm sure it'll be great! See you soon Hans
Hi everyone, I'm Shelly :) I'm a 25 year old backpacker from England who really needs somewhere to live. I'm friendly and really chilled. I love to have a drink and socialise, but also could just lock myself in my room and watch an entire series on Netflix in one day, oops. I clean up after myself and am fairly tidy, can't stand house arguments about the washing up haha. I can cook a mean spag bol, but apart from that I'm really not much of a chef so don't expect gourmet meals to be prepared from me, more like chicken nuggets & chips. Just looking for some easy going housemates that I can enjoy my time in Australia living with :)
My name is Michael, I am a 23 year old coffee professional from Perth and moving to Melbourne at the beginning of March. I am starting a job as a coffee trainer for an awesome company in Collingwood and will be working 5-6 days per week. I enjoy coming home to relax with a tasty beer or wine, some good conversation and a movie. On my nights and days off I enjoy exploring the city for new places to eat and drink and spend my holidays snowboarding as much as possible! I have been renting for the last 6 years including in Melbourne, Perth and Switzerland and have never been late with any payments. I am trustworthy, clean and considerate and excited to find my new home!
Hello, we are a very nice french couple and we have just arrived in melbourne on 02 february. My name is Charlene and my boyfriend Roman. I'm a 21 year old kiwi who has been living in Melbourne for the past three years. At the end of last year I moved out of one of the colleges at Melbourne uni and am now looking to move into a sharehouse a long-term lease. I've just finished my undergrad degree at Melbourne uni, having done a double major in French and International Politics. I'll be continuing study doing Honours at Melbourne uni this year, so, wherever I end up living, I'll be around the house a fair amount when I'm not at uni, playing sport, at band rehearsals or doing casual work shifts. I'm a pretty chilled out kind of person but also enjoy the occasional party, so I'm happy to fit in with any home vibe! I'm quite a sociable person and am always up for a chat, so I'm hoping to move into a house with social housemates. I also love meeting new people and trying new things, so I'll enjoy living with anyone provided they're clean and respectful.
Hey guys! I'm on a look out for a long term room available from the 1th of March (or later) preferably around northcote/fitzroy north/thornbury/brunswick/east. I'm 27 years old, and I am starting my PhD in Social Sciences at La Trobe University (Bundorra Campus). It is 4 years program, so it would be nice to find housemates I could call friends:) I'm very chill, vegetarian, clean, friendly, love yoga, travelling and cooking. I love a drink of wine and a chat every now and then but can also respect personal space. I am moving over to Melbourne from Poland. I have lived in many countries before (lots of stories to tell)! I also lived in Melbourne for 11 months (W&H), then went to travel SE Asia for few months and visited my family in Europe. I preferably need something furnished, or at least with a bed as I don't currently own any furniture over here. I'm looking to live in a house with a garden/ backyard, so not very keen for apartment. Unfortunatelly I am allergic to cats. However I love dogs, so if you have one I can even take care of him sometimes! Please me know if you have anything available!! xx
Hey guys, I'm a fairly easy-going 21 year old. I'm studying part time at the UoM where i should be finishing my bachelor's degree this semester - hopefully going into my masters after that. I bartend a few nights a week at The Retreat Hotel (corner of Sydney & Glenlyon Rd.) Looking for a place with a few like minded people who are always happy to socialize together but still know how to do their own thing. Keen to move ASAP so give us a yell
23 years old, moved to Melbourne after graduating from university in the U.K in the summer. I like socialising, eating food and drinking coffee (and wine).
I am currently living on my own though this has made saving a little difficult!! Never skip a beat when it comes to rent, bills etc... I work the Mon-Friday grind therefore I generally keep things pretty chilled during the week. The weekend I like to let my hair down so my friends and I will generally catch up over drinks. Music - Its easier to say what I don't like - Top 40, Aussie Hip hop, Metal (there are some exceptions) and most but not all country. I love going to festivals and gigs as much as I can. I am a clean person and I always tidy up after myself though I am not a clean freak therefore if that is what your after good luck with your search. I'm a easy going person and I love being able to have a laugh and a yarn with my roomies though I am totally aware for the need of personal space. Interest: Travel, gigs, festivals, stand up comedy, camping, wine, documentaries, cooking, gym, dance. What I am looking for: I am looking for a house with either a backyard or verandah. I would prefer a place with some character though something that is not falling apart. I do have some nature though I am able to git rid of it if needed (would prefer to keep the fridge - Maybe it could become a beer fridge). I am currently on a month to month lease therefore I am about to give my one month notice. Hope you speak with you soon =)
I'm a 25-year old nice, fun, outgoing guy from Egypt. I love exploring new things, meeting new people, and watching new series and movies. I'm a great storyteller, and I love food. I am a very flexible and accommodating person. I value personal space and always make sure to give my flatmates the privacy they need. Hygiene, bathroom in particular, is very important to me. Bonus point: I will bring a lot of goodies from the Land of the Pharaohs. Currently I am a construction professional and will be moving to Australia in February to study construction law at the University of Melbourne. For fun I enjoy hiking, hitting the beach, listening to new music, playing video games, and going out with friends. Soon enough I will be picking up surfing as a new passion.

Hi there! We are Stefano and Valeria coming from Sardinia, the second biggest island in the Mediterranean sea! We are 29 and 28 years old, and consider ourselves friendly, respectful, honest and funny! We decided to leave our island to join a new experience for a year, as we really love to explore new fields and get in touch with different cultures. Plus, Stefano could help you in case you need to do interior and exterior repair and manteinance works, due to his fix-up tasks and meticulous attitude. Valeria is a people person and intersectional activist, always interested in having a good chat. If you think it's a match, please let us know so we can come to see you. Ciao! Stefano & Valeria

I am always up for a quiet drink or an adventure out to explore somewhere new! Equally, I do also enjoy my own space to relax after a long week. I'm a 32 year old Pilates instructor and lapsed graphic designer who has recently moved home to suffocating, small town Brisbane after a 3.5 year stint in London. I'm an easy going kinda gal into all the usual things such as art, music, travel, food, wine, dogs, hating Trump etc etc. I'm looking to find some easy going, like minded housemates who may turn into some great pals or at least acquaintances that know how to use a sponge. I'm also good with a sponge, can whip up a Pescatarian friendly meal, pet friendly (dog obsessed) very independent and happy to do my own thing but always up for a wine/beer/cuppa and a chat. My wild party days are well and truly behind me but love a good gathering of friendly folk. I'm also up for a bit of culture, op shopping, road trips...and have a functioning vehicle in order to make this happen. Would love to discover all the best bits of Melbourne and also go exploring a little further so if you'd like to come along there's always room in my car (even if the ceiling is falling in on me) Anyhoo if you'd like to know more please feel to get in touch. Looking forward to meeting my new Flatmates one day soon! Luisa :)
Hello :) my lease is up in Windsor and I'd like to move closer to my business in Richmond as I'm so over the insane traffic around Windsor!! I'm a professional employed full time (have my own business), very fun but equally hard working, clean and reliable. Excellent with money and happy to take over looking after the bills as I currently do. I pay rent early and I'm very house proud. I need a large bedroom with built in cupboards, preferably with an ensuite if a three bedroom house. I don't eat meat at home but I do have a kitten so you need to be okay with meat in the fridge for her. I'm animal crazy and I'd love to live with people that have a backyard, hopefully a veggie garden or room for me to plant one. I'm spiritual in the sense of believing in treating others well and putting out positive energy into the world. No negativity thanks! I have a new couch, amazing fridge and LG washing machine which I need to bring with me. I have awesome kitchen gadgets too! Cold press juicing anyone? ;) I need off street parking please. Unless your place is close to Burnley St then I'll leave my car at work. Or if anyone would like to start up a new house get in touch! You must like animals, having a laugh and looking for a friend rather than just a flatmate.
