Hi there, my name is Steph. I'm 26 and I work in nutrition and health promotion. After moving back home for a year to save some $$$ I'm looking to move out again. I'm looking for a place near the freeway so I can get to work easily (I work all the way out in Dandenong and Cranbourne...I know). I'm clean, good at organising things and love to cook! I work full time so I'm out of the house on weekdays, and usually home by 5.30-6pm. I also do a lot of swing dancing so I'm often out a couple of nights a week doing that. During the weekend I spend a bit of time at home catching up on Netflix, or love doing brunch with my friends and spending time with my partner.
Looking for somewhere that is comfortable and feels good to come home to each day. If you had a veggie garden for me to play in, that would be a bonus. I have a passion for healthy eating and wellbeing.... but who doesn't these days :) Non-smoking home would be ideal. I'm clean and respectful. If you'd like to know more just ask.
I am very respectful, understanding, tidy and like having cook ups and a chat. I am a busy body, always out and about. :) I was born in Hong Kong (Chinese, Australian) and have done a lot of travelling. Looking for a good vibes home as I have just moved to Melbourne a week ago. I work in Abbotsford at All Round Glass and Glazing as full-time. Can't wait to explore this city :D
I'm in the final year of an IT security bachelor degree and do freelance Web Development for top up income. In my free time i play and watch a fair amount of basketball, code web applications and also all the standard things done socially with others. I'm really into film as my first degree, which i dropped out of was a film studies orientated arts bach, now i'm in IT lol but it's ok because i think i've watched all the movies i need for a lifetime. Im looking for a social house hold as i've been living in a studio apartment for two years and the solitude is the reason i'm looking to move out. I'm easy going, look for civil non-confrontational modes of conflict resolution and am clean to whatever the household standards are although obviously you cannot know this for sure, so you should msg and vet me :)
Hi There My name is Terry I am 28. I work full time at RMIT I also study there. I am friendly, easy going person and I always help out around the house. I enjoy cycling, camping and surfing. I am a pretty busy person but I always find time for chats with housemates or a beer but I am cool with quiet time too and I love to read a good book. I have plenty of savings so I can pay rent and bond easily, I always pay bill on time. I enjoy the occasional night out and I have been told I have pretty good dance moves. I am always into trying new things so if you want a friend to do something with If I have time I am generally game. I am currently trying to learn Spanish! como estas?
Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile to find out about what sort of housemate I am. I'm a 33 year old professional who emigrated properly from the U.K. last year (although I've lived in Melbourne twice before so I know it well). I'm a teacher although I'm on a break and working full time in Marketing trying to break in to copywriting as I love to write. I'm really easy going, tidy, humble and very respectful of others. I like to have a giggle and to go out but equally like my time at home too. I'm looking for like-minded people to share a house with. Respectful people, decent human beings. It doesn't bother me what you do or what your interests are, as long as you pay your rent on time and tidy up after yourself, etc. It would be a bonus to have housemates I can socialise with and enjoy the things to see in this wonderful city! If you think we'd work well in a house or flatshare together, i'd love to hear from you! Nicola :-)
Hey I'm an easy going guy that enjoys a chat and is house trained. Fairly quiet during the week with work and exercise but don't mind a drink or getting outside for activities on the weekends. I'm not the hermit type of house mate, I'm looking for a house that is social and doesn't mind sharing the odd meal etc. If there is anything else you want to know feel free to message me!
I'm Anne, 35yo and work full time in the city. I also have a side hustle that keeps me pretty busy. I like to go out, see bands, eat at all the amazing places around Fitzroy, love a drink and a laugh. I'm clean and can pay bills on time.
hi! My name's Kirsten and I'm looking for a new place to call home :) I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a house or townhouse in Melbourne's inner north, preferably between $180 and $260ish a week. I work full-time in communication and study writing on the side. In my spare time I'm usually buying books, at the movies, spending time at my bf's place, or talking rubbish at the pub. I don't have any pets except for a few cute plants I can dot around the house. I'm not home all the time, but when I am I'm more than happy to have a chat and chill out together over some wine/food. My idea of a great share house is one where we can hang out together sometimes, but also do our own things when we want. And somewhere where everyone's happy to tidy up/do their bit to create a happy home. I reckon I'm pretty laid back, but I'm also clean and know that everyone plays a part when you're sharing. My move date's flexible, but preferably around the middle/end of May. Hit me up if you think we might be good together!
Hi I'm Meg! I'm a 24 year old nurse from the US who moved to Australia about 8 months ago. I'm clean, friendly, and a respectful roommate. I'm pretty independent but also love to kick back and have a wine and cheese night with my future roommate.
I'm a 22 year old American, and I've been living in Melbourne nearly a year but looking to switch accommodation to be closer to uni. Im an arts student at Melbourne uni and staying in Australia until the end of June. I love to have fun but I'm a respectful housemate, tidy, and quiet during the week.
Hello! We are a couple, in our late 30s, currently living in Fairfield. We like eating out, the cinema, going to concerts, cycling, and travelling. We're easy going, quiet and tidy. We have excellent references from previous rentals.
I've just moved back to Australia after living in the US for the last two years. I'm 30 years old and work full time as a software engineer. I'm pretty easy to get along with and have plenty of share house experience. I'm always keen to share a few drinks and a meal with my housemates. I'm a fairly decent cook as well and have learned how to cook a proper BBQ after living in the US! I like travel (my most recent destinations were Peru & Cuba), skiing, and enjoying some live music. Looking to move in ASAP!
Hello! I'm Laura, a copywriter, 30, who love books, magazines, boardgames, cooking (I'm vegan) plants, writing, travelling, being in nature, cycling around Melbourne, and gin. I'm studying my masters part time in publishing at Melb Uni, and am also working on a couple of other creative projects (including a podcast!). I generally like to keep pretty busy through the week, heading to gigs, feminist events, seeing friends etc, and will tend to potter around the house on Sundays, cooking up a storm for my week ahead or working on personal projects. I'm clean and tidy in shared areas (but not super uptight about it), always pay bills on time, and am not looking to live in a party house. I'm looking for a place to call home, somewhere to feel settled and happy to come back to. I also would love to live with someone creative and self-motivated, who likes to have shared dinners and a wine/beer from time to time to chat about life. Disclaimer: I come with a slightly grumpy cat, Millicent (Millie originally, but Millicent suits her personality much better). She's a 10 year old, slightly overweight (we're working on a diet together!) rescue cat who sleeps most of the day and is v v well house trained. She doesn't claw or destroy anything, is de-flead once a month, and has short hair which doesn't malt much. She isn't overly cuddly or super friendly, so would probably suit someone who doesn't like cats all that much, she does love a snuggle at night though, she's v lovely while you're asleep. hehe.
I've lived in share houses before I'm clean tidy and respectful and always up for a beer or shared dinner with housemates. I enjoy cooking and happy to contribute to shared meals. I work full time in communications.
Hello :) I am an easy going kiwi looking for a new place to live! I am clean and tidy, respectful and sociable when I'm in the mood. I am not a huge drinker but enjoy going out occasionally. I generally like to go out and eat good food, attend yoga occasionally and love sleeping in on the weekends so prefer a chill house over a party place :) I ideally would like more than 1 housemate in a share house with either males or females or a mix - not phased. People that are keen to hang out every now and again and have flat dates but also do their own thing!
I am very easy going and friendly with all people I meet! Besides that I am clean and have experience of sharing apartments with people, and I never had problems. I really like to socialize and explore my surroundings, therefore, I spend a lot of time outside the house. Especially in Melbourne, as I'll be an exchange student and I will try to do as much as possible^^
I'm orginally from the Gold Coast but I've spent the past 6 years living in New York and San Francisco. I just moved to Melbourne (never lived here before!) and am looking to live with one other person. I spend my time eating all the things, taking day trips away, attempting to find parks to run/exercise in, guzzling a nice amount of wine on weekends (and maybe a cheeky bevy during the week). I also love hosting dinner parties here and there and am super into watching stand up comedy. I love being around people but also appreciate down time (especially in the mornings). Looking for someone who feels the same way. Would be great to find a roomie who's into similar things but no biggie if not. Oh and I'm the one on the left. Feel free to add me on social if you wanna know more!
Hello! It's Sonia from Ecuador, South America. Engineer, studying and working. I'm an easy going, responsible, clean, organized and happy person =D I love modern style and pets. I prefer a house clean and tidy as a symbol of respect for all the people in the house. I love taking care of the environment.
I am a social person who is easy to get along with, but also enjoy my down time. I am independent, working fulltime and i love being outdoors. I love cooking, am a massive foodie and enjoy a chilled out glass of wine and a chat. I'm a 28yr old kiwi girl and have been living in Melb for 6 years.
I am a 25 year old, starting as a Research Assistant / PhD student at The University of Melbourne. Preferably looking for something close (walking or biking distance) to the Carlton campus. Originally from the Netherlands, I have spent the past two years in the north of Finland. I am a tidy person, keeping my apartment in a clean condition, with a very strong preference for non-smoking apartments. In my free time I enjoy a variety of sports, as well as social events, tv shows, and reading.
We are both moving to Melbourne from England - I am originally an Australian citizen but moved to England for the last 10+years for school & university to become a pharmacist (which I am hopefully going to transfer the qualification to Australian standards). Georgy is on his working holiday visa & is hoping to find sponsorship out there. We are both very fun & outgoing - we enjoy anything from a night out, to the cinema, to beaches or a wine & cheese night at home! We are extremely considerate & respectful of housemates (and tidy). We always ended up becoming great friends with previous housemates in England so I have no doubt this would be no different. If we need to move in at a later date then we would be happy to do so :) we are also not fussed whether it is a flat, house or even just a studio flat to ourselves! Equally, if we were to live with smokers, pets, etc! If the accommodation isn't available for a whole year as well, we would be happy to find a new place when it is needed. :)
