G'day, we are Holly and Jesse, and we're looking for a new fabulous place to call home. Holly is a singer/songwriter, youth engagement worker and bartender, and volunteers at Triple R. Jesse is a gardener who works labouring for the City of Whitehorse and also writes fiction and spends a large chunk of time working on his writing. Jesse is American, Holly is Australian, Holly is a vegetarian, Jesse isn't. We both love pubs, beer, books, cooking, walks, talking, seeing shows and sitting in parks. We are both genuinely happy, positive people who thrive on meeting and getting to know new legends, and although we both love going out, we both want home to be a sanctuary and definitely not just a crash pad. We're currently in a pretty unique situation - we've been between renting temporarily with friends and long-term Airbnb stays, although we both have stable, steady work. Holly also regularly travels outside of Melbourne on tour. Jesse's current visa is up just before Christmas, so we're planning to leg it back to California at that time. It would be so lovely to find the perfect home in Melbourne for the next 5 months. Looking forward to meeting some great people here!
Hey! Me & my super cool bengal kitty are looking for a new place to call home! If you've got a nice spacious room coming up for a good time gal who loves paying bills on time, being tidying, having major yarns, eating carbs by the spaceship load then lets catch up yea? But if you're also someone/peoples who loves personal space and just chilling then that's awesome too, I can fully respect that! I've got a budget of $360 per week for a sweet spot
I am reliable, easy going and very tidy. Happy keeping to myself but do enjoy having a couple of drinks, sharing meals and having a good chin wag with my fellow housemates. Looking for a room for myself and my fluffy cat, Doagy. I am a vet nursing student so rest assured, I clean up after my cat and she won't be any bother. In my spare time I enjoy watching bad movies, drinking warm beer and going out to see live music. Not too fussy on location, would like to be based towards the city if possible. As long as I can drive to my jobs/school (located in Ringwood, Fairfield and Bayswater) within an hour then I'm happy. Wanting to move A.S.A.P. If you would like to know more about me or if you potentially have somewhere for me to live, please send me a message.
Hi! We're a couple who are new to Melbourne. We're hoping to find a room to share for 2-3 months while we get settled. I'm studying winemaking while also working in wine retail. Oliver is studying software engineering and is a bartender at a music venue. We've both lived in share houses for 9-10 years so we're very well house-trained. We're clean, tidy and never have any trouble paying bills on time. We're equally happy to hang out with housemates or do our own thing. We're not party animals - we're much more into enjoying good food and wine than getting rowdy. I have a lot of diverse interests - cooking, sport (especially cricket), cinema (especially foreign and independent films), music, camping and hiking, history, learning new languages, etc. I'm a bit of a trivia buff and will never say no to a pub trivia night. I'm also very open to meeting new people and trying new things. Oliver's into sports (particularly cricket and AFL), fitness, music, web dev and puppies.
I'm an easy going film loving sociable English-Australian looking for a place in Melbourne. I've lived in sharehouses before so I'm house trained and always been punctual with paying. I'm happy for a chat and a couple of drinks but respectful of peoples privacy.

I also love playing some FIFA with my current & previous housemates, . My main job has been in major musicals around the world, currently Performing in Jesus Chirst Super Star at the arts center for till mid August, then back to working 9-5 in the CBD till the end of the year. I have a car so need a car park or a parking permit etc. But would be up for doing shopping runs for the house! Im really looking for some sort of Creative house, but open to other things as well. Hi there, I'm Laura, I've just moved to Melbourne from Hobart. I'm a nurse and will be working part time fully rotational shift work. I am neat and tidy to live with, happy for some housemate hangs or to do my own thing. I love to travel and love going to music festivals and gigs. Always keen to check out a new brunch spot. Looking for a room around the Northcote or Clifton Hill area.
I'm escaping the Sydney rat race and moving to Melbourne! Arrive in Melbourne on 24th July. I've got some friends in Melbourne, but looking for a house where I can make some more! I'm typically pretty busy with work, trying to get to the gym, and trying to cook healthy dinners, but always partial to a sneaky glass of wine or beer every now and then, and it would be cool if my future housemates were the same! I want to find somewhere I can call home, relax, chat about the day/life, but also respect others privacy. Oh and I can totally clean up after myself. On a weekend I'm into live music, catching up with friends, getting out in nature (are there beaches in Melbourne?!), and perhaps a beverage or two.
Me and my partner, who are full-time students in La Trobe University, are looking for a furnished room which is near by the station. We are friendly people and live quite quiet. Welcome to text me anytime or call me after 7 pm.
Looking for a new place to stay starting around mid-august. About me: French Canadian law student from McGill Uni. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counsellor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. I have already settled into a social life here, so you don't have to take care of me, while I'm obviously interested in the house life! Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up!
Hi everyone! I'm looking for something furnished and short-term for three months up until the end of October as my summer plans are uncertain. I'm happy to look at subletting for shorter periods between now and end of Oct too, so please get in touch if this is you! I'm flexible as to area but I need to be near public transport. I don't have a car, but somewhere safe to lock up my bike would be great! I'm Australian, currently studying a Master degree full time at RMIT and working part time. In my spare time I like hiking, cycling and dancing. I'm friendly and considerate of flatmates. I love travelling and I've seen a lot of the world and have lots of flatmate experience! (Before coming to Melbourne I lived in Peru, Chile, UK, Ireland...) I don't watch much TV but I watch a few docos and the occasional movie or footy match. I prefer to live with people who are environmentally-conscious. Any questions just get in touch! Thanks for reading :)
I'm a down to earth girl from Sweden. I have lived in Melbourne for awhile with a preference for the North side and LGBTQ+ friendly :) I'm a chef and obviously LOVE cooking. I also like sports, photography, architecture, roses and other cool flowers, going to gigs, occasional beer, go for coffee surprise surprise! and try new food. I'm very reliable, open minded and most important clean up after myself. I work well living with others, keen to get to know new people to create an awesome chill creative home vibe. I don't mind pets at all🐶🐱
Hey! I'm a student in the UK and moving to Aus in Sept 2017 whilst studying Public Health. I'm looking to meet easygoing housemates that may be willing to show me a bit of the area, or explore together if you're also new! I love the outdoors, hiking, cycling, yoga and surfing, but also down for a dance and a drink. I'm vegan and really enjoy cooking and learning new things. Would love to meet similar people, with a laid back approach to life. Hoping to stay at least 6 months but very flexible, as I may move around depending on what's available :)

I'm orginally from the Gold Coast but I've spent the past 6 years living in New York and San Francisco. I just moved to Melbourne (never lived here before!) and am looking to live with one other person. I spend my time eating all the things, taking day trips away, attempting to find parks to run/exercise in, guzzling a nice amount of wine on weekends (and maybe a cheeky bevy during the week). I also love hosting dinner parties here and there and am super into watching stand up comedy. I love being around people but also appreciate down time (especially in the mornings). Looking for someone who feels the same way. Would be great to find a roomie who's into similar things but no biggie if not. Oh and I'm the one on the left. Feel free to add me on social if you wanna know more!
Hey, I've been in Melbourne since March, currently house sitting in Clifton Hill but will be giving the house back mid sept. I work full time in hospitality. Love cooking, and the odd glass of wine. Very chilled out person, not looking for a party house. I'm respectful and clean up after my self. Like meeting new people, and hearing new stories! Look forward to hearing from you. :)
Hey all, I'm currently just looking for a temporary furnished place to live from 5th august, so a room Will be fine, but from October I'd be interested in team ups, I've got loads of household stuff in storage in Sydney that I'd like to ship down, fridge, dryer, dining table, kitchen stuff, tv, and a cat that's staying with my parents. (I need a couch, washing machine, if you've got those WINNING!) I'm a non smoker and would rather not live with smokers as It sets me off a bit.. I work full time in Northcote at a vet clinic. I like an occasional shared meal, sneaky trip to the local, but am happy making my own way too. Send me through any questions you have.:) its just me at this stage, the dogs in the photo are not mine.
Hey, I'm looking for a long term room in any of the inner suburbs, preferably within 45 mins cycling time of carlton. I work part time and spend the remainder of my time reading, tryna learn piano and going on outings with friends. Have lived in share houses before and am tidy + reliable with cleaning up and paying rent/bills. I'm always up for the odd cook up/cheap wine when I'm around but respectful of others' space/time. I'll need a place with parking available (street is fine). If you think you've got something in my budget - max $650 p/m - shoot me a message :) Emily
I'm 36 and have full time job, one casual job and am also studying online, my 3rd degree because apparently I'm a glutton for punishment! I enjoy music (I go to gigs a couple of times a week),also talking politics, I loooove cooking, and I spend a fair bit of time juggling study / Netflix binging / reading, sometimes all at once. I'm pretty experienced at the houseshare thing - I clean up after myself, pull my weight, and pay what's due on time. I also have a cat, or a sloth. Depends on the day. She's a 10 year old rescue cat and is the most inactive and passive thing ever, she's also my mate.
Hey guys! I am from Mumbai, India and will be studying information technology at the University of Melbourne this July. I am looking for a furnished private room in a share house. I have been living in a hostel for the past 4 years and am very comfortable sharing an apartment with others. I am excited to meet people from all over the world and get a chance to learn about their culture. I am an animal lover and a vegan, however, have no problems with you having non-vegetarian food at the apartment. I love to read non-fiction, listen to jazz and am always up for a cold beer.
I have lived in plenty of share houses and love the family atmosphere and the fun of getting to meet new people. I am clean and responsible, love to cook healthy meals and enjoy making the most of a home by creatively adding to it. I have a beautiful and delightful 3yo AmStaff who gets along with all other animals including even the most crazy cats. We would love to find a friendly and inclusive house to be a part of where we can contribute toward making it a home.
I am currently in the process of moving from Sydney to Melbourne for a 10 month secondment role at my workplace starting in the first week of August. I'd like to be moved into Melbs and be settled into a new place to call home by the end of August. I am employed as a full time manager. I work hard, so I can be exhausted after a long day but I don't mind sharing a meal, a story or two with a drink, before retreating to my room either to work or for some well deserved, quiet "me time" Whilst my family is based in Melbourne, my friends are in Sydney. So I plan to make new friends, check out the sights and some social scenes on weekends. Of course, hang out with the folks. Whilst I wouldn't mind a good friend over to chill occasionally, I'm not the type to invite a party over. I am reliable, respectful, house trained and excellent at paying my bills on time. I've been renting and maintaining a two storey townhouse for the last 8 years on my own. So I will be honest, it's been a while since I've shared...But have a squeaky clean payment history. I am looking for a place with my own unfurnished large room for my things, my own off street parking (pref undercover) for my car and ensuite bathroom. Looking for a place that is clean, modern and in a well built up bustling area. Water pressure will be tested upon inspection ;) Any room with my own outdoor access will be a bonus and highly considered! Internet access is simply a must. If you think you have the place for me in the areas that I've mentioned or similar areas, please contact me with the suburb, the room specs and the cost of living. Thanks, Dee
