I'm a graphic designer and I run my own freelance design company. I work from home most days and also on the road a fair bit to meet clients. I'm looking for a room to rent in a suburb not too far out with people who are friendly and considerate and wouldn't mind sharing with a very cute and friendly dog. I'm a pretty social person, and love catching up with mates for dinner and drinks. On the weekends I like to go for bike rides, or head to open air cinema in the summer or a nice rooftop bar and enjoy everything Melbourne has to offer. I'll describe myself as easy going and clean and like to to maintain the living environment in a clean and hygienic state. I have lived in share houses for many years so I know how to be a decent and considerate housemate. I also have a 5 year old Japanese Spitz who is completely house trained. He doesn't chew except his own toys, and he's very laid back and friendly and doesn't bark much at all. He is great with cats and other small dogs, but is scared of big or aggressive dogs. But he will pretty much follow you everywhere and loves food!
Hello! I am from Bacchus Marsh and am looking for a new place because my landlord is selling the house that I have been living in for the past 18 months. I work at the airport assisting the elderly and disabled passengers. I am employed on a part time basis but receive a lot of hours. I also have a casual job in customer service at the MCG. I am fairly reserved initially and in large group situations but open up once I feel more comfortable. I am quite health conscious and have a strong preference for people that have a positive attitude. I have an interest in most sports. My landlord will happily provide a reference for my history regarding payments, cleanliness etc. Any other information required I'm more than happy to assist!
Hi there! I'm Sami, 24 and looking to sublet north/west of the Melbourne CBD with some happy-chill-housemates. I'm currently living in Kensington and the landlord wants to move in so finishing up there on 7th Jan. I'm going overseas in April 2018 so for three months I am looking to rent a furnished room until end of March/early April 2018 without signing onto a lease. I work full time in tourism, and by night I love to chill out with some good food and great company. Love my down time and I'm work-focused, but I'm more than happy to live with people who are studying and what not. I like a bit of a cook up and a cocktail, and I'm pretty low maintenance - just as happy watching Netflix in my room as I am hanging in the lounge with some lovely people. My only must have is somewhere to park my car and other then that I'm really just looking to meet some friendly people who fancy the odd chat and some socialising. That's me in a nutshell, send me a message if I sound like your person!
We are a couple in our early twenties moving to Melbourne at the end of January 2018. Mitch is starting a new job in construction management and my partner studies law. We're both friendly, clean people who are happy to keep to ourselves but also enjoy getting to know our fellow housemates. We've have decided to complicate our lives and go on a holiday and will be back on the 20th of Jan so we need to move in somewhere between then and the start of February. We like to think we're relatively mature for our age. Definitely interested in having a few drinks on the weekend but have predominantly outgrown the party lifestyle. Bonus is that we have very few friends in Melbourne so wont be stealing the Saturday night pre drinks slot! Mitch will be working full time mon-fri and probably out and about socialising and playing sport in his free time. Looking to get back into football, cycling and general fitness. Life mission is to make the perfect pizza dough, still working on it but getting closer every time. Anna will probably be doing the opposite, namely watching the flix or reading a book and sinking some red. I also come with as many plants as you will allow me to have. I'll be attempting to study a couple topics in my third year of law long distance. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, we're happy to oblige! Also if the move date is a little later than ideal but you think we'd make a good match don't hesitate to reach out and see if we can work something out.

Hey Hey! I'm a full time nursing student and a retail assistant looking for a lovely home to live in with some awesome people. I'm very outgoing individual who likes to have a drink or two but also likes to kickback. I'm happy to hangout with potential room mates if my schedule isn't hectic. Huge tennis fan, foodie, a bit of a movie geek and a gym junkie. I clean up after myself and above all, understand the importance of personal space of fellow room mates.

Hi! My name is Shannon and I come with a 2 year old kelpie mix Koda, she's well trained, including toilet trained, and loves other dogs if you happen to have a furry friend. She does spend a lot of time inside where we are currently, she sleeps in my room and hangs out inside when I am at work, however I understand this may require some flexibility upon moving and that is totally fine. We have also lived with cats so she's pretty well adjusted to different things. Enough about my better half, a little about me. I work full time in administration, not the most challenging but it's stable and pays the bills! I've lived in share accommodation for around 5 years now in different situations so I understand cleaning up after yourself and being respectful of others. Ideally I would like to have some sort of friendship with the people I live with, whether it's sharing a meal or having a pint, watching the football or whatever, I just think it makes for a nicer dynamic. I'm not looking to move until Jan/Feb but I think it's worth having a look sooner rather than later as these things tend to sneak up and I would like to find the right fit rather than somewhere just for the hell of it. I'm pretty open so any questions just ask! Thanks :)
I am studying digital media part time and working so I stay pretty busy. When I am at home I love to just chill out on the couch/ in my room with a good book/doco or doing crafty things. That being said I am always down for a chat/laugh over a glass of wine and a nice meal. I'm a creative type, into yoga and cooking yummy vego meals. I am tidy, easy-going and super respectful of privacy and quiet time. I love a peaceful, clean home but would also love to find housemates I can learn from/ bounce creative ideas of of/ grab beers with. I'm 27 and from the US but I love Melbourne so much I just moved back a few months ago. I am considerate, reliable and great at paying rent on time. On the weekends I love to throw on some glitter and go out dancing/doofing with friends. I am progressive, love plants and try to be as sustainable as possible within reason. I have lived in quite a few share houses over the years and I think I've got this whole being a good housemate thing down pat.
I'm an international PhD student from sunny UK studying at the Peter Mac Cancer Institute. I've been in Melbourne for 5 months and I'm looking into settling into a chill place that I can call home for the next few years. I would consider myself to be a easy going, respectful person who is use to picking up after themselves. I'll end up spending quite a bit of my time (including weekends) either working in the lab or seeing what Melbourne has to offer so I won't take up too much space. When I am at home I enjoy cooking as well as binge watching shows on Netflix. I'm a total geek and if you have any pets that's an added bonus as I'm use to living with cats (although I have no intention of adopting one while I'm over here!)
British working trainee looking for a room around Melbourne whilst i study, gain experience and work within the Plumbing sector. Looking for neat and tidy shared Studios, Households and Flats to join or to rent private. I am an avid Gamer and Techie being so i spend a decent amount of time enjoying my hobbies so similar people are always welcomed although anyone friendly and nice to get on with is just as good, I am a quiet person but can also join in on community or group activities happily. I would prefer to be in a house without smokers (I do not smoke myself) and although i love animals/pets (My family currently owns 3 German shepherds and a Boxer) i would rather not share living accommodations with any bigger animals while living in a smaller/shared space. I will be moving on the 27th of December so that is when i will need the accommodation. Thanks for reading.
I'm from Mexico and I am student doing my master degree at The University of Melbourne. I love animals (planning on getting a dog), watching tv shows and movies and in my free time I love to go rock climbing. I consider myself to be a respectful, organized and friendly person. I'm just looking for a nice and calm place to live :)
Start from 01/02/2018 prefer a private room and roommates from different countries. I’ll study in UNIMEL for master degree for two years. I'm finding a clean and tidy place which is close to the uni. I’m from China but I prefer to live with people from different countries. About myself, ordinary and a little bit boring person. Spending the most of spare time thinking about useless questions, staying alone, watching movies or reading books (topics relevant to politics, economics or psychology), but also interested in live music and sports. I'm not a totally sociable person but if you need someone to hang out for drinking, watching films or tennis games, I'd like to join. Please be free to message.
A 40+ professional writer and educator, I'm neat, clean, easy to get along with (sociable but also independent). Have lived overseas and done housesitting so respectful of others and strive for harmonious relationships. Spiritually minded and fun! Good references from landlords. Very conscious of paying bills on time. I adore animals and am a vegetarian, so sharing with other animal lovers, vegan/vegetarians would be perfect!
Hi My name is Shahrokh and it has been about 3 months since my arrival in Australia. I am looking for a place in which I cab have a furnished ensuite with separate private toilet and bathroom and kitchen and a shared lounge. I prefer the room to be a master room and I also need to have access to a washing machine and internet. I am a researcher and a tradesman. I am around 40. Non smoker, non drinker and I usually spend my days reading and doing my work. I jog daily and I like swimming, diving, parachuting and archery. I like to join a group with whom I can enjoy regular hiking and camping. I am adventurous and willing to take risks and enjoy new experiences. There is no need for meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) to be provided for me in the place that I rent. My main aim for wanting shared accommodation is to join a group that will help me become more familiar with the Australian culture as well as improve my English and cultural awareness. I prefer to start by renting for a month, then if all goes well with both parties, we can extend the duration. I can move on the 20th of this month. I would be happy to be of help to the people I am sharing the place with and as this is my first experience in shared accommodation, it takes time for me to adapt, which I hope will happen soon with the help of my housemates. Respect and well behaved manners are of vital importance to me in my relationship with others and vice versa. With due respect,
Hi! I am a friendly, social and humble person looking for a home to share with my future flatmates. I will be travelling to Australia for the first time and would be pursuing my Masters degree. I'm pretty clean, respectful of other people's privacy and accommodating if required. I'm very easy going and prefer not to get involved into conflicts. My ideal place to live would be with a group of people who I can become good friends with and spend some good time together. Although, I do like my own time in my room as well. I love sports and am always up for Cricket, Badminton. I like to watch movies and TV shows, read, travel and explore new places, try out new cuisines ,restaurants and pubs so you can count me in for hangouts or marathon sessions of Netflix. I like to work on my fitness and everyday try to devote some time at the gym or visit the pool for a swim or just do some home exercises. I am a self motivated individual and like to try out new things in life which I believe can help me develop so I'm always interested to learn something new. Recently, I have been working on increasing my cooking skills. I am a non smoker, not too much into parties and don't mind the presence of animals especially dogs. Please drop by a message and feel free to ask more questions if you consider me an ideal fit for your home or if you would be interested to team up! Looking forward to meeting my future flatmates!
I’m a calm and positive young woman about to start a masters degree in nursing. I have a lot of experience living in sharehouses as I’ve lived in Melbourne for five years now and four of those years have been spent in sharehouses and apartments. My hobbies include reading, drinking tea, gardening, and crocheting (all quiet and unobtrusive!), and I'm more than happy to have a glass of wine and a chat with anyone and everyone. I like to think of myself as a relatively easygoing and peaceful kind of person. I'm happy just to chat and get along, and do whatever needs to be done to keep the atmosphere in the place positive. I’m basically a grandma stuck in a young person’s body so I hope that makes me a good housemate-to-be! I also have a lovely pet rabbit called Lola, who is the only non-negotiable thing about my search for a new home! She's lovely and quiet and unobtrusive and I'm sure that you'll adore her, but wherever I live will need to have the space to accommodate her as well! I also come with a whole apartment worth of furniture (all bought brand new last year) so I’d be happy to organise a start up sharehouse with others. I'm really hoping to find a place that I can make a home, with people who make it feel homely! :D
Hi there, Professional working as a mechanical engineer and doing a master degree. Looking for a room or team up around Hawthorn and surrounding areas. I'm an easy going reible social guy, who respect others privacy as well as enjoying a good chat and a meal from time to time. Love keeping the place clean and tidy. I have full furniture; Tv, sofa, laundry, dryer, fridge and kitchen's utilities; to contribute with, if needed. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm a South American Web Developer working in a Digital Agency full time looking for a place and nice housemates to live with. I'm looking somewhere to the North, Northcote, Thornbury or any other area close (but not too much) to the CBD. I'm friendly (casual beers, pub, gigs, BBQs), mindful of other people, housetrained, easy going and able to pay the bills & rent on time.
We are a very easy going couple and clean. We are aiming to study and work during one year in Melbourne. We have been living in Gold Coast for 6 months and now we are going to move to Melbourne. We are no smoker and no party house.
We are a group of British people (mostly Scottish). We are tidy, respectful, and like to enjoy ourselves by having a few drinks now and then. We are all actively looking for full time jobs having just arrived in Australia last week.
Hi! I'm Tillie. I'm 23 and have recently moved to Melbourne to pursue a career in Communications. I'm neat and tidy, but easy-going, friendly and I like to laugh. Not a big party girl - enjoy my own space as well as chatting and hanging out (if it involves wine and good movies/TV, all the better). I love music, good food and have a penchant for the 90s. I don't smoke, no food/animal allergies and I'm definitely cool with pets. I come vehicle-less. I own bedroom furniture and a few other household items (some kitchenware etc.) but would be looking for a place with living room furniture/whitegoods. In summation, if you like wine and average puns, I'm your (house)mate.
Looking for a vegan household/team-up. Not because I don't associate with non-vegans but because the smell of meat cooking now makes me feel sick! I work full-time for city of boroondara, in infrastructure. Have been there two years and recently promoted, so work situation is rock solid. I'm into music, photography, art, hockey, travel. Used to living in a team of three. Don't have any pets or kids, no smokes/drugs, social drinker. From Melbourne and have always lived here. Like everyone, I like/need my solo time, but I also like a semi-regular chat/hangout with the roomies! Considerate to the needs of others, clean up after myself, can take constructive criticism and not be offended! Would love to find a couple of friendly people that I could be mates with & go out for a drink or gig here & there.
