Hi, my name is Gabbie. I am looking for a room to move in next month. I tend to be quiet and generally like to do my own thing & wind down after a long day (of classes) at home, so I'm very respectful of others' personal space/quiet time/privacy. I am friendly, easy-going, tidy, & always pay rent on time. Currently studying business at Uni, I'm a night owl but not a party animal. I can't live with cats but I don't mind dogs; even though ideally, I'd like a house without pets. Strictly looking for a non-smoking house. Some of the things that I enjoy the most are music, movies, and good food. Leave me a message and I'll try to get back to you soon, cheers!
Hi there! My name is Karla, I'm from Italy. I work and study in the city and I am looking for a modern and clean room in share accommodation, ideally close to the city and near public transport. I am very friendly, clean and respectful.
Hello! I'm looking for a new home for long term, 6 months + in November and the date is negotiable. I'm full-time employed and always busy, when I'm at home I'm pretty chill and need some down time, so I can't afford living in a party house but do enjoy the dinner gatherings, and don't mind your friends come over for that, just not a party house. I'm very clean and tidy, friendly and open-minded. I like to social when I'm around. I'm into travelling, movies, music, sports, photography, arts, food, coffee and cats :) I am happy to share the household as I like to keep the house clean, I'm looking for the liked -mind housemate who is clean and tidy and knows how to respect others in a shared house. Ideally I could live with the similar age housemates 28+ respectful individuals. Reliable and honest, pay rent on time. Conscious of the wastage of the energy. No party house, no drama please. Clean and tidy, happy to join the household. Independent, share when I/you want to, no stalkers, no nannies. Don't mind smokers but no smoking in the house. Open-minded, love multi- cultural, LGBT friendly, 40+ friendly. Pastry chef, occasional sweet treats :) Cat lover, meow in the house is very welcome! Feel free to PM me, thank you!
I'm originally from the Perth, and I'm here in Melbourne to study at university. I am a clean and organised person; I enjoy studying at the university libraries and in my room and I like my own space- so I will definitely respect your space as well. I do however like to be social from time to time- I enjoy listening to people, I like to bake and cook, play on the piano and recently I've gotten into yoga and running around Princes Park! I'm also collecting succulents at the moment! I'm a vegetarian (but not really strict, because I still eat fish from time to time). Though I am still in my teens, I assure you that I am more mature than my age and that I'm not interested in hosting parties or drinking until I get drunk.
Hello, nice to meet you! My name is David and I´m 29 years old. I just moved to Melbourne and looking for a place to stay in a long term. I am working and studying part time – pretty busy week but love to chill out on the weekends or get out for a few drinks and whatever else the city has to offer. I am a very active and easy going person looking for a place to call home.
26 year old professional/ creative working in the fashion industry, looking to share with appx. two other likeminded individuals. Looking for a place north of the river, up to $270p/w budget. Passionate about my career, love yoga, books, cooking and baking, great food and wine. Looking for housemates to socialise with, binge on the latest TV series, chat and drink wine with. Friendly and easygoing and am very respectful of personal space. Clean but not OCD, pet and plant friendly (I have no pets but many plants). Look forward to meeting you! Sarah x
FLEXIBLE WITH MOVE DATE AND LOCATION :) Also, I have pets! Hi potential roomies! My name is Liv; a 26 year old female, working full time and studying Nutrition via distance. About me; I enjoy seeing live music, finding new cafes and eating my way across Melbourne, day trips to the Dandenong Ranges to immerse myself in nature and walking my pocket sized pooches through all of the beautiful parks Melbourne has to offer! I've had over 5 years of experience living in share house arrangements (in other words, I know to empty the bin when it’s full and to put a new roll of toilet paper on when the existing roll has run out!) Ha, but in all seriousness, living in share houses for this long has meant that I am very considerate, very open minded and respectful of others privacy/separate lives. I’m very clean and I take a lot of pride in the house environment. I love homewares and interior decorating- on a budget- (so much love for Kmart!!). I’m fairly easy going and social, so I don’t mind if you have friends over for a couple of drinks on the weekends. More technical stuff: I have a car so I’d need somewhere (free) to park. I have furniture that I can bring if needed (lounge, dining set, fridge, washing machine, hallway/side tables, kitchen utensils/appliances/crockery) and my own bedroom furniture. I would like a large sized room that comfortably fits queen bed, desk, bed side tables and has a built in wardrobe. I would prefer unlimited internet so I’d be happy to set this up and split costs with housemates or chip in to any existing plan. I’m not in a huge rush to move as I would prefer to wait until I find the perfect fit (house and housemates) so I’m fairly flexible with moving dates as I can stay with my folks in the meantime. I'm not too picky on suburb- somewhere East or South East of Melbourne that isn’t too far from the city (e.g 20 minute drive) with nice walking tracks. I come as a "package" as I have pets (2 teeny tiny dogs and 1 cat). The dogs are tiny (the type that you could fit in your hand bag) however they aren’t small yappy dogs. They are toilet trained indoor dogs however are allowed outside when I am home. They are walked almost everyday however are just as happy to snuggle up together on my bed and wait for me to get home. They are both very clean and go to the dog groomers every 6 weeks (Boo doesn’t lose any hair, Ruby loses minimal). They are very happy little dogs that simply LOVE people and are always happy to be on someone’s (generally, anyone’s!) lap getting attention! My cat Dexter is an indoor/outdoor cat (not allowed outside when it is dark). He is petrified of other cats so I cannot take him into a house where there were existing cats. Although he is scared of other cats, he loves dogs. I can provide rental references for the pets! About YOU; I am looking for friendly and social housemates (with experience living in share houses), who are happy to have a chat/laugh when we cross paths and share the odd glass of wine together. HOWEVER I am also a very independent person that appreciates time to myself- so suitable housemates would be respectful of eachothers space. Suitable housemates must LOVE animals and be happy to let my dogs outside to the toilet (if you’re home and I’m not). Suitable housemates would also be clean and share house jobs (rotating rosters have worked well in the past!). I have always lived with strangers who have ended up friends and I see myself living with like-minded people who wish to make a house a home- if I sound like someone you would like to live with, please get in touch :)
Very excited to start a new life here in Melbourne, am tidy and clean, love good food as well as a glass of wine or just a beer in the sun. Like going for runs when I feel like ;) and am enjoying life as it come.
Hey there! My name is Sohila, and I'm a 22 year old backpacker from California here on my working holiday! I love travel(obviously), hiking, sports, cooking, a good beer, and great conversation :) I'm used to living in very close, shared spaces (11 people in a 5 bedroom..California prices are nuts) so my living habits have been built around respecting those I live with. I will be working near full-time, and I'm fresh out of uni so I completely understand the need for quiet around finals. Please let me know if we can work something out! Looking for a room ASAP. Cheers!
I'm a student that is planning on moving to Melbourne in November 2016. I am working full time in the hospitality industry when I move. I am generally a tidy person, I also am a social person that enjoys going out for drinks with friends. Looking for a place with like-minded flatmates.

I am a Graphic Designer and Ben is a Musical genius! We have been living in house shares together for the past two years in Hackney and in Haggerson in London, and have decided to move to Melbourne to see why this city is the most liveable city in the world! We would love to live with people who like to try new bars and restaurants, enjoy a laugh and just want to enjoy being in Melbourne.
I'm 32 years old, work full time in hotel management but luckily don't have to work the crazy hospitality hours. I'm currently studying fitness and operate a women's adventure group based on building self esteem through body positive movement. I'm not fitness crazy though, I'm all about balance and just doing what feels good. I like to cook (sometimes gourmet, sometimes just Mac and cheese) read, drink coffee, dance and get out hiking or running. I'm always open to new adventures, even f it means looking a bit nuts in the process. I'm not a neat freak but I respect shared spaces and always clean up after myself. I have a small dog named Pip. She's 4 years old, completely house trained, sleeps all day, loves cats, long walks, tennis balls and ear scratches. She only needs a small yard with a bit of sunshine but she does spend time inside when I'm home.
Hello! I'm Ailidh and i'm a super nice, female photographer, working full time in Richmond. I'm heading home to the UK over xmas so will be moving out of my current lovely house and am looking for somewhere temporary when I return at the beginning of January. My visa is until March 18th so not looking for a lease, ideally looking to rent my own room from someone that's away travelling. I have a very sweet, lovely boyfriend who will be popping over from time to time so i'm afraid i'm not interested in any share rooms but i'm Just putting some feelers out to see whats out there, so if youve got a nice room in a house share then pop me a message :)
I'm a clean, friendly, open, fun-loving guy from Manchester, England. Here on my working holiday visa and looking forward to spending the summer in Melbourne. Currently staying in a hostel in St Kilda but looking to move into a flat closer to the CBD. Got myself a job in Emporium shopping centre, so need to be within walking distance of there (under 45 mins), and close to transport links. Would love my own room but other than that, not fussy at all! Vegetarian, but more than happy to live with meat-eaters. Non-smoker. Very tidy & contentious.
Young professional couple (2 males) 24 (Photographer) & 27 (Financial). We Moved to Sydney in May 2016 and lived and worked there for 4 months before heading back to the UK for a family wedding. We want to take the opportunity on our return to Australia to see what Melbourne has to offer. We are arriving early morning on Tuesday 4th October and staying with friends just north of the city and would like to find a new home as quickly as possible. We are interested in studios, one bed flats or large rooms in a small house share. We are both friendly easy going people, very clean, don't like to live in a messy house and pull our weight when it comes to chores. We like to relax during the working week but we do enjoy to socialize and let our hair down at the weekends.
Hey! My name is Jordan and I am looking for somewhere to move in ASAP. I have money ready for a bond and I am pretty flexible on the dates/length of stay. I work full time in Carlton so I am looking for somewhere in the northern suburbs to live. I am sociable and chatty, am always up for a few drinks with mates or doing something interesting when not at work... I try not to take myself too seriously and have a good atmosphere around the house, I am laid back and enjoy being around similar, like-minded people. I like to cook, read & write in my spare time but also head out of the house and try and get about when possible. I respect other people's space and pull my own weight with household stuff as I like to be in a nice space! Hit me up if you have something that can work..!

Hi We're two outgoing, friendly English guys from Cambridge. We both arrived in Australia in December where we embarked on a 2 week bike ride from Melbourne to Sydney. Fresh back from our farm work we have just arrived back down into Melbourne, and are ideally looking for a 2 bedroom apartment somewhere around central Melbourne. We're both really clean, into our fitness and ideally looking for somewhere on a 6 month lease with a possibility of extending. We can move in ASAP, and are available to view properties at any time. Hope to hear from you Aidan & Jonny
We are Dutch and traveling Australia. We love Melbourne and will stay here for about 3 months to combine working with enjoying the city. We are social, clean and quite, but definitely love to have a drink or go out for food as well. Let me know if you have something available! Looking forward to it. Cheers, Mark
Hi There! I'm moving from Brisbane to Melbourne and am looking for a new place to call home. I decided to request a transfer because I want to live in a bigger city with more opportunities and culture. I'm into health & fitness, listening to & making music, being amongst nature and spending time with friends. I work full-time at a furniture store and am half-way through a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences. I've been living out of home working & studying since I was 17 so I know how to be a good housemate, always paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself. I'd like to find somewhere close to work (Richmond) with people who are easy going and fun.
I've only moved to Melbourne last week and I'm looking for somewhere to stay long term. I'm 30 yo, originally from Poland but lived in Perth for the last 7 years. I will be working two jobs most of the time. I moved here to get a job in my proffesion (dental technician) but I've done hospitality work too so I'll be getting a pub job as well. I'm quiet and tidy and I can also provide reference from my real estate back in Perth. thank you in advance. Aggie
Hi my name is Donovan I've lived in South Africa/England/America and now call Australia home. I've been in Melbourne for a while so happy to do my own thing. I'm a very easy going happy person. I enjoy travel, food, drink, keeping fit, socializing. I have a car so need somewhere to park. I've stayed in a few house shares so used to sharing. I'm well house-trained, respectful, clean and tidy, do dishes etc but I'm definitely not a neat freak. Flexible on move in date (Anything after mid Nov). I'm looking for sociable people who are normally quiet/working in the week but like to have a drink/go out on the weekends. Nice friendly people :) I love cooking. I prefer cooking for myself but don't mind sharing and I eat pretty much anything. I'm flexible on furniture, I have a bed and other household stuff (Fridge, couch, dining table, TV, washing machine etc ) but not really attached to them. A garden would be great, happy to help out. I don't have any pets, love dogs but allergic to cats.
I am easygoing and I like to live in a clean place, so I won't make it a mess and I do clean up after myself. I am in Melbourne especially to work and save money for further travels, but in the weekend I like going to the beach or have a drink with friends. During the weekend after work I'm more up for 'Netflix and chill' and go to the gym. Fun fact, I speak 4 languages and understand 5, so who knows maybe we can even communicute in multiple languages 😉
Hi, My name is Nico, I am freshly arrived in Australia directly from Paris, France. I've studied electronics engineering and I specialized in Sound and Images. I work for 2 years for a company who create digital set for musicals, concerts, TV shows. I like every thing which is more or less close to the culture and art. In my everyday life, i try to improve myself. And i definitely prefer simple things of life. In Australia for at least 1 year, I'm looking for a positive and friendly atmosphere with happy people. I will consider my future housemate more like friend or family member than "my door neighbor". I think that sometime make great meals on big table with a lot of cheese and wine is good for your health..
I'll be beginning my Masters of Clinical Audiology at the University of Melbourne in 2017, I still work part-time, and am a 2nd dan black belt who teaches and trains in taekwondo. I am looking for a place preferably closer to the city and uni and for new housemates (1 or 2 max) who either want to hunt for a place with me or have found somewhere already and need an extra housemate. I don't have any pets, but I love them so I'm cool with yours. I'm very house proud but am by no means a homebody and when I'm not at work, uni or catching up with friends, I can usually be found out in my kayak, the gym, dojang or going for a run which you would always be welcome to join me at but I won't force you too! When I'm at home, I'm quite neat (and I hope for my housemates to be the same), I'm a good cook, and do enjoy getting to share a meal with others. I love a good chat, intelligent or silly, and a household full of laughter. I believe home should be a positive and happy place and not a place where everyone goes and hides in their room at the end of the day without talking. I do however believe everyone needs their own quiet time and I am respectful of that but I will always put a good book down to chat and be social instead. :) I'm more experienced living with guys however your gender, sexual orientation, race, favourite colour, football team or star sign all hold no bearing on your suitability as a housemate to me. The only thing I ask is that you have a positive attitude and are the type of person who is easy to get along with and inclusive of others regardless of their differences. I have most things needed for a household inc. everything needed for a kitchen, a comfy couch, washing machine, coffee machine, large flat-screen telly, linen, towels, an iron etc. I don't need to bring everything with me (some of it is currently in storage already) however I definitely do not want a bedroom that is already furnished as it would not feel like home to me without my own. I am not picky when it comes to finding a place (ok, shower curtains creep me out!) however, I do have a car and a kayak so a place that has secure parking is essential. I am also avoiding apartments that do not have built in laundry facilities and require the use of a communal/ coin laundry if it can be helped. Before contacting me please make sure your listing has the following requirements: Off-street parking, unfurnished private room, non-couples, no more than 2 additional housemates. Thank you.
Hi! I'm an 18 (turning 19) yrs old female from Sweden moving to the land down under at a working holiday visa where I intend to work, travel and meet new people! Preferably looking for a long term stay. I'm very easy going and friendly who is always up for a beer or two, but I also respect privacy. Unfortunately I can't cook but I'm tidy and clean up after myself :) I'm both interested in shared apartments and team-ups. Don't fear to message me :) Cheers!

Hi there, My name is Annemette Juel and I'm 21 years and come from Denmark. I'm here in Melbourne on a Working Holiday Visa and are going to work fulltime on a danish restaurant opening here in Melbourne CBD - so I would like to live close to the city. Therefore I’m looking for an apartment where I can stay for about a year. I would love to find an apartment which I can call home and flatmate/flatmates which I can call friends. I see myself as an easy going person. I like social arrangements, meeting new people and drinking cofee on cafés and I am always up for a glass of wine or a chat, but I also appreciate quietness and homely comfort. I really like sport and if possible I go for a run or to the gym weekly. When I have time I love cooking - see this as an oportunity to taste danish ryebread! 😊 I see myself as a decent, respectful, clean and tidy person. So there is nothing wrong with my cleaning skills. Furthermore I would like to improve my English and I see this as a great chance. Maybe I can teach you some Danish words...
Busy professional I manage a health club and do lots of bits and pieces on the side. Into fitness, gym and cross fit. Enjoys a drink, jazz, film and brunch. :) I'm looking for a share place with own bathroom and parking of some sort. Have shared before for a long time and looking to have something more central.

I'm clean, tidy and pretty low key during the week - at the weekends I like to explore Melbourne and catch up with friends for food and drinks. We are looking for a place ideally in the CBD or inner suburbs. If you have any questions please fire away.

Hi, I'm Elya! I've been in Melbourne for almost 3 years, originally from Malaysia. I'm currently an Arts student and will be graduating soon. Looking for a place to stay over the summer (but hopefully longer!) while I figure out what's next. Dates are sort of flexible. For potential roommates: I'm clean and tidy, still learning how to cook, not much into parties, here to listen to you vent over a glass of wine after a long day, and always up to binge watch tv shows. That being said, I will definitely respect your privacy and if you want to keep to yourself, that's cool too. If you're interested / want to know anything else, feel free to contact me! Bonus points if you have a cat.
Hey there! I'm looking for a new place to move into towards the end of November, I would be more then happy to move into a private room or to start up a new share house! I'm bubbly and social, love a good chat and a good feed, maybe a drink or two, I work in hospitality and that requires me to be out a lot at night, but I do have a far amount of free time during the day and I will always have Sunday off! I'm use to this renting thing and paying bills so there's never a worry about me paying up on time, because I do live in an apartment in the city at the moment I actually have a fair amount of furniture, that can come with me or not. Also as a bonus I come with a beautiful low maintenance fish tank and a very adorable blue baby budgie! Peace! Jess x

I learned Physiotherapist and Spa Manager some years ago and worked also in that profession. I'm a non smoker, like music, travelling, good food, always a good talk, shopping and reading. After one year living in Melbourne, we went to India for an awesome month and a half, where I was doing a yoga teacher training course and Xisco was traveling around and discovering the country. Now we are heading back, our jobs are waiting for us, and we are going to stay at least two more years in Melbourne. I'm an interior designer and Xisco works for an online school. We are easy going people, working full time and with lots of projects in mind. Very busy people but also, always open for a glass of wine and a chat. We have been sharing apartment in Melbourne and in different cities since 2009 so we know how people like to be treated and the do & don't. We are food lovers and our Spanish background make us very good cookers. Are you ready for Sunday paella? Please, let us know if you are interested in meeting us. Thanks for your time :)

Hey! I'm Crystal and i'm currently on a gap year after finishing my VCE studies last year. I'm unemployed currently, but i'm a model and an artist and enjoy spending alot of my time working on my art or walking the catwalk. My partner and i are ready to face the world and find a place of our own. I do have a cat, whom is litter trained and also has a very pleasant, loving temperament. I'm a very clean and tidy girl, always happy to help out with anything you may need and of course i'm organized when it comes to payments on time. Being unemployed, i would need to be able to pay the amount set but i'm happy for discussions on the matter. I am looking for work and i am prepared to pay more p/w than asking as long as it fits my current budget. The reason i'm in need of a place of my own, is due to a recent death in my family which is making it hard to stay at home with my parents. The stress is putting to much pressure on me. I would gladly attend any meetings or interviews before you make any decisions. My partner is also currently unemployed, but he is waiting until we find a place together to start looking for work due to distance and not being able to transfer when the times come. Please don't hesitate to ask me any further questions! :) -Crystal
