I'm currently looking for an affordable and cozy place to stay in close to the University of Melbourne or within 20-ish mins by public transportation. I am a Law student from the University of Birmingham, UK. I'm very laid back, and I understand that you've got your own needs and private space. Can't wait to explore Melbourne ^^ Cheers, Madalina.
I am 32yo Japanese male, working for education agency in CBD Mon - Fri 9am-6pm. Now I have been working on business visa application so that I can stay more than 6 months (at lease 3 months with current visa). Also, I am able to move in anyday after 26th Feb. Mostly I cook dinner at home and do not mind sharing with flatmates while go out to hang out with friends sometimes. I would like to have a chat over a glass of wine with flatmates as well as respect privacy and personal time. Room must be as below: - a private room - no living share - clean and tidy (not extremely) - own key - good access to CBD - no weed/drugs preferable but unneccesary - gym and other fitness facility - outside social space (BBQ space and so) I have been in AUS for 2 years, living in share house. My current owner is leaving AUS therefore I am looking for a new flat. Could you please arrange an inspection if you are interested in. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

Hi! I am a 20+ female from Malaysia and have been residing in Australia for many years, currently pursuing a Master degree in Landscape Architecture and will be working and studying in Melbourne starting next year. From my past 6 times of house sharing experience, and several times of sharing rooms at hostels, I have a reputation of being a clean, tidy, and responsible house/roommate. I speak 4 languages, namely English, Mandarin Chinese, Malay and Spanish; and I am an avid traveler. I have just done a big backpack round tour in Europe, had traveled to Japan, and did work and study in China, Ireland and Spain. I consider myself to be an open-minded and mature person, also should be fun to be with as told by my friends. I enjoy cooking and baking, which I don't mind sharing the food with my future flatmates. I am also into arts and design, photography, books, linguistic, culture and history, plants, fitness and DIY. Happy with locations within an hour public transport time distance from city center, within the public transport Zone 1 + 2, even if not listed in my "Preferred locations" section below. Please drop me a message if you think I sound like a friend-to-have / someone who should be living at your flat right now! I don't mind teaming up with like-minded people to rent a property too.
Hey everyone, my name is Nathalie, I'm from Germany and 26 years old. I'm doing my master in food economy and came to Melbourne for my master thesis. I want to stay in Melbourne for at least 6 months and looking for a room asap. I'm an open minded, easy going person who likes to socialise. I shared flats in the last 6 years so I would say I'm experienced in that and know how to keep a flat clean:) What I like most is traveling, sports and baking. Plus I'm always up for a good wine and coffee:) Looking forward to hearing from you, Nathalie
Hi! My name is Hyung. I am 19, commencing my degree of Pharmacy at Monash University Parkville. I’m a chill, easy going fella who likes to keep things clean and quite. Hi! I've recently moved to Melbs from Sydney so plenty of places to explore and keep me busy. Love checking out fun stuff, breweries, art exhibitions, music, camping and beach time whenever I can manage it. Eventually I'll bring my surfboard down and hopefully find some waves too! I'm an interior stylist with standard weekday hours. My move date is flexible as currently house sitting. Would be awesome to live with chilled out people who are keen for the occasional shared meal, drink and chat. I'm clean, tidy, considerate and love a good laugh. I try to keep a bit healthy so I can eat all the cheese and drink all the gin. Also love super spicy food and am a podcast obsessive so if you have any good ones hit me up.
I'm a 34 yr old returning to Melbourne after a year up in Sydney for work. I've always shared north side over the years and have been really lucky so far in living with friendly, social and respectful housemates - hopefully my run continues! My interests are art, camping, having drinks with mates, cycling, travel, naps and going to gigs. I work full time as a project manager and am pretty quiet during the week but like to get amongst it come weekend. I'm hoping to find somewhere nice to move in ASAP. If you have any questions please feel free to send me a message! Thanks, Michael
I'm a young belgian architect looking for a place to live around the CBD. I work as floorplanner at Urban Angles since January 2017 and I'd like to stay in Melbourne until december at least (I have my second Working Holiday Visa). Pretty calm, I like to speak, eat, cook and have a drink sometimes.
Working in the city as an economic consultant and have lived in share houses in Melbourne for three years already. Tidy, clean, friendly. Also respectful when other people need their space to recharge. In my spare time, I like to do creative writing, keep fit, drink loads of tea & coffee, travel the world, check out all the local cafes/pubs, cook up the occasional feast, and try out various “arty” hobbies with varying levels of success (podcast recording and random DIY, anyone?). P.S. Will sometimes make bad puns :)
I’ve just landed in Melbourne, I am originally from London well Essex a gorgeous part of the UK. I am turning 25 this July and working in the fitness industry full time: I am looking to rent a room between 5-6 months, I am extremely tidy and take pride of my surroundings, I am respectful and like to create a clean, cosy home that is comfortable for others. I love to socialise whether that be dinner, I LOVE a brunch, drinks, a dance or just a cosy night in with a cuppa tea and a tim tam! I feel I’m a real giggle, I don’t take myself too seriously but I love to learn and inspire, I completely appreciate personal space but always feel free to come and have a chat if you need to. I love to workout and have a passion for healthy living but I sure do love a treat more often than I should, but that’s why I train. My family and friends back home are my world and I am looking to meet some fabulous people.

I am a super friendly, tidy, easy going young guy. I'm always happy to have a glass of wine and talk about our days or share a meal but I'm also respectful of personal space and privacies. I'm moving over to Melbourne on the 24th of March for a traineeship in dance. Outside of dance I like, reading, the arts, reducing my carbon footprint and being vegetarian (especially when I get to tell everyone about it). I'm happy to find a house but I'd love to make a home.
