I'm easygoing, work full time, love a good chat, but also my own quiet time, like a clean place and expect my roommates to take care of the shared areas the way I do. I've lived in shared houses before so I kind of know what it's like. I've been in Australia for more than a year now and have some great travel stories, but hope to hear a lot good stories too. I'm a considerate person and will always try to find the best way to make things work for everyone. Totally into music, open for really any genre if it fits my mood. I like to read non-fiction books (psychology), watch movies, series, explore the city, drink coffee (too much!), stand-up comedy, a good party now and then, be active in general.
Hi! I’m Natalia, 23yo half English half Slovak (wannabe) writer, looking for a private room in a friendly house! I’m really easy to get along & live with, I’m clean, considerate and respectful but also social and up for anything fun! I love healthy cooking (not that I cook *that* often), op-shopping, checking out every single coffee shop there is in town, art galleries, dancing, podcasts, concerts, all the good stuff. I can make you [the flatmate] a Matcha latte every day and won’t ever leave a dish unwashed!
Originally from the US, I've lived in Perth for the last 7 years. I have a degree in Economics, and Just landed a position in Melbourne so am on my way there! I'll be working in Southbank and don't have a car, so being near public transport is a must. I'm a quiet person, and enjoy having my own space. I'm not a late night person, and am a competent cook, but I don't cook all the time. I'm happy to live with pets. Would prefer a female roommate closer in age to me. As I'm still going though the preliminaries of getting the position sorted, I don't have a move date as of yet. However, it should be within the next 2-3 weeks.
We are an argentinian couple moving to melbourne from Sydney. We are looking for a place to call home for the following months. We are working in Australia with a working holiday visa. We are easy going, sociable, but also respect privacy and like to have time for ourselves. We're not party people, but we enjoy some beers and going out from time to time, not bringing the party to the house though.
Hi potential housemates, I'm Adrian a 29 y.o guy working full time as a sales trainer. Looking for a place to move in around the 3rd of April or before. I'm a tidy person, very easy going and sociable but also like my private time. Let me know if you have any questions at all.
Because, i would like to make friends, share cultures and music style. Also, i would like to learn and teach, like feedback about aussie culture and chilean culture. I'm anxious about meet the city and places, so for that, i would like someone who help me know all this beautiful country.
I’m an American from Oregon who is here on working holiday looking for 6 month contract jobs in Melbourne. I enjoy most things outdoors and almost all kinds of sports. Generally pretty clean and responsible with getting things paid on time. I love meeting new people and an occasional night out or mid week happy hour, but a night in is also great. Based off of my previous living experiences, I’d prefer to live with girls, but am not opposed to a mix or all boys. Looking to make the most of my time in Melbourne, shoot me a message if you are interested in talking more!
Hey! I am from Vancouver, Canada. I moved to Melbourne when I was 18 and have lived here in between all of my travels. I am very sociable and love to meet new people and learn new things. I am very easy going and easy to get along with. I am a very clean and tidy person to live with. I enjoy having friends over for dinner and drinks but also enjoy having time to myself at home. I am looking for a place with a decent sized kitchen and entertaining area (big outdoor area/courtyard/lawn would be amazing!) I’d preferably like my own bathroom (with a bathtub). I am a yoga teacher and will be studying one day a week away from home. Aside from that I mostly work night shift. I only have furniture for my bedroom so I am seeking a furnished apartment or teaming up with someone who has furniture. If I sound like someone you could live with then let me know, I’m looking to move out into a new place at the end of the month! I am also happy to be the name on the lease.
Helloooooo!! First up, the boring stuff: I'm a uni student from Tassie studying languages and development studies, and I work in hospo so rent and bills etc are not a problem. I clean up after myself, do my fair share of housework, I've got my own furniture, and also some kitchen appliances to contribute to the household. I'm kinda sporty (I play hockey for Melbourne Uni, and I enjoy a bit of orienteering too), but I don't go for freakishly long runs every other day. On the fun side, I quite enjoy a beer or glass of wine over dinner, whether its at home or at the pub (love a good pub and beer garden), and I go to gigs and festivals whenever I can afford it. I enjoy the outdoors (although being in Melbourne without a car, that generally just means sitting in the back yard or walking along the Merri Creek Trail). I will happily re-watch GoT or HIMYM at any time and have a long list of tv shows I need to watch. Not the best dinner chef, but will happily supply homemade cakes, cookies and pickled veg! Also more than happy to live with any furry friends that you may have, especially if they're cuddly. Preferably 9 months to a year and happy to go on the lease if need be (would actually prefer it). I'm also flexible with move in date, doesn't have to be the end of March.
We are a young Swedish couple looking to rent a furnished room in a house or apartment. We would like to move in around April 1st and our budget is $300. We are open to most types of accomodations but we would like a private room and ideally some type of common area. We are both on working holiday visas and are planning on staying in Melbourne for about six months, maybe more. Felicia currently works in a café and August works in labour but is just about to change careers and go into bartending. We have pretty basic lifestyles. We like to go out for walks, hang out on the beach, meet up some friends or go to the gym. Occasionally we like to go out for a couple of beers but we won't party at home. We are pretty sociable but we also like to keep to ourselves a lot. If you are interested in having us as flatmates, please send us a message and we can arrange a time to meet up. Cheers Felicia & August
Hi all! I'm looking for a room to rent. I’m a 27 yo Brazilian guy currently doing a masters on psychopharmacology. I'm in Melbourne to do part of my masters as a fellow researcher. I'll be at uni working full time so won't be all day at home, but I'm definitely keen to spend some time together just chatting or drinking or anything! I’ve been living in share houses for 3 years. The first of them was in Perth, where I had an amazing time living with an English lady, a Japanese and an Australian guy. The other 2 years I lived in Brazil with some friends while doing my masters. My visa is valid for 7 months so I'd be in the house for at least 6. I'm ready to move in anytime as I'm in a hostel at the moment. I'm easy-going and laid back and pretty careful with sticking to the routine of the house. I like to share moments with housemates but sometimes I need my privacy too. And I respect other's! I’m free to inspect houses at any time. Thanks! Lucas
I've lived in Adelaide (Australia) when i was younger, but, i was originally born in Liverpool and have lived there for most of my life. Moving back over to Aus for work and a break from the British winter! -Luckily i have dual citizenship. Up until recently i ran a vinyl record store, Bar & Cafe. For 15 years+ i've worked as a professional DJ. i'm pretty obsessed with music. i love to research genres and discover artists - don't however think that this means i'll be playing music loud or having house parties, i am a very conscientious house guest and you will not be disturbed... treat others as you expect to be treated etc. - I do like socialising, going to gigs/clubs/bars and restaurants, but... i also really enjoy the quiet life - walking, cycling, friends/family time or visiting attractions and historic sights to lean more about culture and broaden my experiences. In the last few years ive been to Japan, America, Italy, France, Switzerland to travel and cycle. Happy with either long or short stays! ....i can send you over more info on me if you want - i always find its a bit much reading all that stuff about someone you've never met and its often just better to meet face to face and see what the vibe is. cheers Dash
Hi there! I'm an artist from New Jersey, USA relocating to Australia! Looking to make new friends and enjoy my year abroad as much as possible. I love theater, music, film, books, art, good food and good beer/ wine/ whiskey :) As a roommate, I like a clean space and I do like some personal private time but I'm also very social and would love to live with people who are open to hanging out and having a few beers when we are free. I'm very easy going and only ask that my roommates respect the space we live in. Excited to meet ya!
i'm a 24 year old who works full time in the CBD. in my downtime i can be found baking bread, trying out cocktail recipes, at a museum or with a book in my hands. sharehouse trained! i'm passionate about creating a good living situation, (because the place i'd like to live in should be a home; not just a house) meaning: if you have a hard day and need space, i'll give that to you. if you can't get to your dishes in time, i can chip in. if you're late on your bills, i understand. if you need a cup of tea and someone to listen, i'll be there. and if you need a dog to pat, i'll find one, somehow.
Hey there! I'm a respectful but sociable 29 year old woman from Toronto, Canada. I'm in Australia for a one-year Working Holiday Visa and looking to set up a home base in Melbourne. I work full-time in Fitzroy at this awesome Spanish tapas restaurant. My hospitality background has made me extremely intuitive about the needs of others, and very skilled at keeping the space around me clean, organized, and welcoming. I work 5 nights a week and doubles on Sundays; I also have plenty of creative and fitness-related hobbies that keep me occupied during the day. With that said, I'm always keen for a chat or a hang when I'm home. Feel free to reach out if you think I'd be a fit for your place :)
Hey, I'm Lachlan, 27yr old male, working full-time in communications in the city. Outside of work I usually like to keep busy, but I am always up to have a chat, cook a shared meal and sit down with a glass of wine. I also like to read fiction, cook with too many spices, listen to music and practice a bit of yoga. I am independent, respectful of your space and your possessions, clean and friendly. I'm after a change of scenery and looking for somewhere to stay until at least October 2018.

I'm quiet most of the time but like having human interactions with housemate.
