Hey, I am an easy-going student (postgraduate) from Freiburg Germany in my last year (Environmental Sciences). From 24th of February I am coming to Sydney for an internship at the University of Sydney. On 1st of May I'll leave for New Zealand. I am looking for a small, private room, as I'll be at Uni most of the time. I like to do sports, cook or just have a glass of beer/wine in good company. I've been living in flatshares the last six years, so that's not new for me. If there are any pets in the flat, that's fine for me. Also I lived in Sydney during my undergraduated studies in 2014. Simon
Hello! We are three full-time health professionals (2 of which will be sharing a room) looking for at least 2 other relaxed and tidy people to go house hunting with in the inner west. The rough plan is to be finding a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom place together for a late March or early April move, where you would be on the lease along with a very cute dog and cat. The upper end of our group budget is around the $1200 mark which will initially divvy up to at least $300 each, less when I (Nadia) move in after finishing up a contract in Newcastle in July, and even less if we find another couple (so, couples very welcome!) We are a chilled bunch, prone to the odd drink after work but never obtrusive or lazy with common area cleaning. Expect the house to be quiet a bit of the time as 2 of your housemates are shift workers. We would love to meet anyone who thinks they would suit the vibe of the house, and get started organizing inspections over the coming month! P.S, as we haven't nabbed a house yet, the costs of each room hasn't been set. Happy to negotiate this further for couples once we start looking for houses :)
I am an exceptional tenet/ housemate with an impeccable track record as a renter with both estate agents and privately. I am a friendly and outgoing flatmate with excellent references and the proud owner of a well behaved cat, whom I can also provide references for, upon request. I enjoy the occasional chat, other wise am a very quite and private individual, who likes to relax in my spare time. I am clean, tidy, respectful and always pay rent on time or in advance. I am looking to relocate to Sydney for employment purposes. So please don't hesitate to contact me should you wish to discuss my profile further.
28 Female Baker extraordinaire Medical student Currently living in Stockholm (Sweden) on medical elective but returning to Sydney in March & looking for inner west accommodation Have lived in share houses for a decade so very house& bill trained
Hey there! I'm a 28 year old Network and Systems Engineer from California. I had the pleasure of doing some work projects in Australia in my past job and enjoyed it so much that I made a permanent move to Sydney! It's been almost three years now and I've grown to love all that Sydney (and the inner west) has to offer. I'm a social, friendly individual that loves to explore and meet new people. On weekends I'm out and about, likely scuba diving, bushwalking, motorbiking, live comedy, etc. If the weather's bad, I'll be working on some software projects, reading, brewing beer, or indulging in Netflix. Have I mentioned that I have access to ALL US streaming services? I'll hook it up :). I work in an office mostly from 8-5pm Monday to Friday, and am traveling for work occasionally. I keep it low key during the week and relax at home after hitting the gym. As far as goods that I can contribute to a home, I have a large fridge, washing machine, large dining table with 6 chairs, 55 inch 4K TV, TV unit, and a couple pots/pans/etc. These are in a storage unit so if we don't need them, I can keep them there. I'm past my partying days so I'm looking for a "home" like environment with my flatmate(s). Having friends over for dinner parties, and the occasional BBQ or event is more my style. I'm happy to socialise and have the occasional beer and/or dinner with the flatmate(s), but also respect everyone's right to unwind and have their privacy. I consider myself very clean and always pick up after myself in common areas as well as contribute to shared chores and responsibilities. It's easy when everyone communicates well and chips in for each other! Speaking of that, feel free to message me if you have any questions! Cheers.
I am friendly, tidy person and respect privacy. Easy to get along with. Currently full time IT professional in India. I am also an Australian Permanent Resident.
Hey, I'm Alex. I'm an apprentice mechanic, working in Gladesville - and I am looking for a place to stay within a half-hour commute from there. I am very easy going and I get along with anyone and everyone. I'm a trained Barista and Cook, and love to make both coffee and food. I am clean, tidy and I respect other people's space - but am also down for fun in the arvo or weekend - I can adapt to the household. Please consider me for a room in your house!
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I currently work a full-time office job at an appliance retailer, but I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. Apart from a one month stint of house-sitting in Petersham last year, I have always lived at home. I am a little bit nervous but mostly excited to throw myself into the vast unknown. :)
My partner Andrew and I have just moved to Sydney. He is Australian and I'm on a working holiday visa from Canada. We are both friendly and outgoing. We are tidy but laid back. We are exited to explore the city and it's beaches! I am working in administration for a construction company in Rosebery and Andrew is a chef. We are looking forward to sharing a flat with fun and outgoing people, who like to have a good time on the weekend, but who are more quiet during the week. We are thinking about spending the winter at Thredbo, so for now, we are only looking for a room up until June, or anything shorter.
I am a mid twenties professional who has just moved from Adelaide to Sydney for work. A friend of mine from Sydney is also moving here shortly for work! So we are keeping our eyes open for somewhere with 2 bedrooms available. My friend Camille and I are both clean and friendly, non-smokers, looking for a sharehouse within about 30ish minutes of the city. I enjoy movies, theatre and board games and am looking forward to exploring the city. I have my own bedroom furniture and a car but street parking is fine. Camille won't have furniture but can get her own if she needs to. Looking to find something pretty soon for the long term because nobody likes moving!
I am a researcher/epidemiologist who was raised and has got bachelor education in Beijing, China then spent the past 10 years studying and working in Sweden. Have various interests, e.g. swimming, running, hiking, lots of sports, photography, etc. Love good food, especially seafood and vegetarian food. I like to follow some simple and easy recipes at home, rarely make red meat dishes at home though. As a working professional, I usually start my day around 7am and finish around 11.30pm, enjoy afterwork, having dinner with friends, watching movie/documentary/tv, going to the gym/swimming pool, or joining some evening courses during weekdays' evenings. I am a clean, tidy and quiet lady and have good references from previous flatmates. Have lived in student corridor, in shared apartment, and lately got my own apartment in Stockholm. I think I have got some experience living in an international environment, sharing cleaning errands and bills, as well as having friends staying over. I like to have big and small plans for life and the future. My current plan is to do a two-year postdoctoral training in Sydney (at Woolcock Institute of Medical Research in Glebe), then to go back to Stockholm. I would be much appreciated if I can get to know some friends and get to know the city! Many thanks.
Dear Friend, I am looking for an accommodation stating from March 1st for a month. I am a jovial person who takes life positively. I can describe myself as a cleanliness freak. I am well organised and likes to plan and do things. I like people who discuss things very openly and frankly because I am like that.
I grew up in Ukraine but have since lived in 5 different countries, having moved to Sydney in June 2015. I have spent most of my adult life in the US earning my undergraduate and masters degrees, and getting some work experience under my belt. Between work and training, I'm not home too often. I work in CBD in finance and train quite a lot between CrossFit and long distance running. I grew up playing tennis professionally so athletics is a way of life for me. I don't party much, usually only when I travel, don't drink or smoke either.
Hi, My name is Nadia and I am an easy going Polish girl in her 20's who is looking for a friendly house to move in. I will be studding fine arts full-time and working part-time. I have been living in shared accommodation for the past years. I get along very well with all kinds of people, and I am always respecting house rules. I am also a huge movie buff, who enjoys good live music in my free time. I am able to move in from the 8th of February. Looking forward to hearing from you, Nadia
I'm 6months into establishing my beauty business so I'm away working in the west 4-5 days a week. My beloved puppy is well behaved and very quiet so looking for somewhere where she is safe and loved. I'm very reliable and honest looking for somewhere i can call home as i'm from QLD.
Im easy going, friendly and a bit shy sometimes, from Peru (I can help u with your spanish if you want) Im still improving my English. I like playing soccer, dancing and any activity inside or outside hahaha.
Hi, We are a couple from Poland who just came to Australia on Skilled Recognized Graduate visa (subclass 476) with the intend to increase our skills in English and gain some overseas experience. We are entitled to work on full-time here and we are more than eager to do so :). What we are looking for is a room for at least 3 months with views to extend. We hope that we will find here not only flatmates but also a friends which who we could get together from time to time. We are clean and tidy. Karolina likes to sing when she is happy but don't worry she has good sense of tune and I am an IT guy, so unfortunately I spent more time with my laptop than I would like to. Rumours says that we have a sense of humour and we are easy going persons. Also our common superpower is that we always recognize ours toothbrushes so there is no need to panic that we will use somebodys belongings :).
Hey im interested my names corey im a mechanic who works for lubemobile just looking for a fresh start im 27 worked as a head mechanic for mercedes for many years. Secure safe off street parking is a must
Hello there! I'm Lin (24) and I work full-time (8.30am-6pm) as a Showroom Coordinator in menswear. I've been living in Sydney for the past 5 years and love this city to bits. I'm looking for a place with good vibes and is not a trash can. I've grown to become really good friends with my current flatmates (whom I've also met on Flatmates!) but I'm looking to move somewhere closer to work (I work in the CBD). Ideally, somewhere with street parking or a garage as I have a car! I'm quite active (or at least I tell myself that) and like to be social but at the same time, am quite a big couch potato who loves her 'me' time. Netflix will be the death of me, ha. I'm into art/music and all things creative and enjoy a good conversation about life and all its beautiful imperfections over a glass of vino/beer (I'm not picky!), or three. If you are after an easygoing, responsible and independent flatmate, I'm your person!
I'm 22 years old, and an emerging actor/writer. That and casual work keeps me pretty busy, but in my downtime I'm keen on watching netflix or hanging out with friends. I run and cycle pretty much every day, I'm a vegan (not an annoying one though, it doesn't bother me at all if you eat meat). I like the occasional house party but I also really appreciate a calm, clean living space. The house be queer friendly, and not have cats (I'm allergic, but dogs are fine).
I'm from Vietnam, having studied and worked in Singapore for 8 years. I'm currently a Master student in Sydney University. I'm a clean and organized person. I respect house rules and flat mates' privacy. During my free time, I like reading fiction books, listening to music and hanging out with friends. A big fan of cinema, travelling and photography.
I am currently looking for a private room with own bathroom. I just graduated from USYD with Financial Maths and Statistics. I am clean and tidy. I love cooking and would do a bit of sports and music in my spare time.
Hi there, I moved from London to Sydney because of a six month job offer in the TV industry. Originally from Italy, I'm clean, respectful and very easy to get along with. I'm looking for a room (ideally furnished) and nice housemates to live with. I'd love to find a place that I can call home rather than just a place where to sleep.
Hey team, My name is Nick, I'm from up the coast and looking for new home while I continue studying at Usyd. A little about me, I'm 22, a student, photographer, surfer, clean as, and a good time. I'm pretty cruisy independent guy and spend a fair bit of time at uni but I'm almost always down for roomie hangs. I'm super friendly/sociable, not a grubby housemate (not the kinda guy that'll leave toothpaste in the bathroom sink). I'm looking for room-mates that are clean-ish (nobody's perfect), fun, respectful of property/space, and won't be strangers around the house. Tl;dr: normal dude, not a grub, not the kind of roommate you'll whinge to your friends about Keen as to hear from ya :-)
HI! I am Lena, an exchange student from Norway. Im studying a masters degree in law at USYD. I will be living in Sydney until August, and I'm looking for a furnished room in a shared house. I´m a laid back, tidy and social person who enjoys meeting new people. I love outdoor activities and exploring Aus. Don't hesitate to contact me for any further information!
We are a very friendly, quiet American couple who are neat and tidy and like to keep our door open during the day. We do not smoke and don't really drink unless it is offered. We like to get out of the house as much as we can if we are not working. One of us is working but both looking for full time jobs so that we can save more and keep traveling! We are looking for something asap so don't hesitate to send us a message!
Work more or less full time thru the week and have college in the evenings, would be spending very little time at home during the week. I work as a Bicycle mechanic enjoy mountain biking, and staying fit. I'm studying at Uni and keep myself busy between the above two things. During the week I volunteer at an Op-Shop as a Handyman, and enjoy working doing home projects. Can solve most electrical, and other house kinda issues... Basically useful. I'm mostly on here looking for people to Team-up and start a house over the Long-term. Ideally a year or longer. I do have a couple of people interested, my current room mate may also decide to join-in to the house. But neither of them have confirmed. Clean, tidy, lived in a share house, happy to roster a cleaning routine, respectful of another person's space and things, friendly. Open and happy to host pets. Get in touch and can figure out the rest...
I'm really easy-going. I like being an introvert but I'm always up for hanging out too for movie nights or something! I just moved to Sydney last year from New Zealand so I'm still settling in :P I currently work at Priceline North Sydney and in my spare time I like to do illustration, as well as play my Playstation 4 or go out exploring a bit more of Sydney. I also know how to clean, I'm a pretty good cook but I'd say I'm a better baker. I make a really good banoffee pie...just saying. Hope to meet my new future flatmates soon!
Hi I am a Travelling Stylist and Designer. I have been travelling around the world for the past year or so meeting new people, finding inspiration and discover new places. Along my travels I have been building teams of young entrepreneurs and creatives to collaborate on fun and interesting fashion projects. The purpose of these projects is to help local artists in each country to network with one another, learn how to build a project and create something spectacular with complete strangers !! The photos from each project are shared on everyone's social media platforms and submitted to magazines for potential publication. When I am in a new household I treat it as my own.I like to keep it clean and follow any house rules that may apply. This makes me feel more at home and useful. I am a very creative person, fashion orientated and run my own Headwear and Styling Label. I am always looking for new inspiration and what better way to do this than through travel. I have a very bubbly personality and I love meeting and talking with new people. I look forward to my new adventures and the possibility of sharing them with you. See you soon, Helena
Hi! I'm a quiet, clean, easygoing Sydney gal working part-time and studying at Usyd. I appreciate privacy but definitely happy to share a meal and socialise w/ housemates, whatever suits you! When I'm not at uni or work, I love a bit of baking, reading, music (listening and making), bingeing netflix shows I don't really care enough about to be bingeing, and a glass of wine or two.
I recently graduated from an Audio Engineering degree last year and am currently working in retail 4-5 days a week. Eliza is currently studying design at COFA and is also working in retail. We are both friendly, creative and easy going. Always up for a laugh and a conversation.
My name is Steph, I am a easy going and friendly person that is looking to meet some new housemates and make friends with. I love the outdoors, hiking, playing sports and having a good old boogie and drink. I am respectful and tidy and looking for like minded people who I can have a dinner with or go for a coffee on the weekend. I currently live with a girl called Courtney who is also very friendly and laid back. We are looking for another 1 or 2 roommates to get a place with as our lease contract has ended. Looking to move ASAP so let me know :)
Hey Guys! So I'm not really sure what write here but hopefully you will get a a good overview of my current life situation :) so here we go haha My name is Victoria, I'm 22 years old and I am currently studying a bachelor of design with my major in fashion marketing. When I'm not at uni or studying at home most likely I'm at work, I work part-time (15-20 hrs/w) at David Jones Online in the city which is great :) In my free time I like to catch up with my friends and family either for dinner during the week or out for a couple of drinks on the weekend (depending on my schedule). In all honesty, I'm not much of a club person but I do like to socialize over drinks or food (like who wouldn't want to over food, lets be honest here), meeting new people and making new friends :) I'm pretty chilled out and quiet when I'm home, basically because I see a home as a relaxation haven rather than a party house. I appreciate quiet and serenity especially during busy periods in the year. Like everyone else sometimes I enjoy being alone and I respect other who need the same space as well so I am looking for a home that appreciate the same above all else :) Overall, I love a good chat, good food, nice drinks, me time and puppies :) (if you have any puppies please take me in, thank you ) I hope you guys find this useful and adopt me as one of your own haha Xx Vic
Young corporate professional working in investment banking, looking for a place that is convenient for travel into city perspective and has a good local vibe. I usually keep to myself and most days work late. Keen on exploring new places, have my own car and usually spend the weekend out of the house. Open to share some exploring with flatmates. I'm very particular about cleaning and like to keep my stuff tidy, love cooking and going rock climbing on weekends.
Hello! I'm moving to Sydney (again) from spending some time overseas. I am a working professional in app design who is always keen to meet new people and ready to socialize. I'm tidy, respective of other people's privacy, quiet -yet easy going and happy to help friends out. As much as I like my privacy, a social household is very important to me, along with being active and cooking to some good tunes =)
Hi all, My name is bella, I'm 23 and am working full time in the TV industry and am looking to move closer to the city and reduce some travel time. I'm really easy going and as long as your clean and up for a glass of wine every now and then I'm happy. I can't cook so sorry but our lives will consist of lots of take out and left overs. I would be interested in a team up and trying to find a place and start off fresh in a new place. If you would be up for something like that definitely message me and we can go from there. Feel free to message me and we can have a chat and see what works! Thanks, bella
My name is Stevi, I'm a 23yr old female who works full time in public relations. I've recently been offered a new position which will require me to move to Sydney, however the role is fly-in fly-out so I won't be home too often (at least for the first 2 months of the position). I'm very sociable, friendly and outgoing. I've lived in a handful of sharehouses before, love to catch up over a drink but definitely not looking for housemates that have houseparties every other weekend. I'm a tidy person who'll clean up after myself, I respect communal places and won't miss a payment. I currently live in QLD and will be arriving in Sydney the weekend before my new job begins. Would love to meet over a Skype chat so we can get to know one another :)
Hi I am Liv. I am happy, neat, relaxed and friendly. I am looking for some housemates who want to make the house we find a happy home. I have lived in Sydney for nearly four years but I have always just lived with one other housemate. I am excited to go into a house with around 3-4 other people as I am a people-lover and am a huge extrovert. I want to be with people who are positive and happy and who will not say no to hanging out over some wine.
I am a neat and clean housemate that enjoys a good chat but can also keep to myself. I'm trustworthy and loyal. I work a full time job as a laboratory technician working 10-12 hour days 5-6 days a week so 90% of the time ill be at work. I don't smoke or drink and love to go to gym and cooking is my biggest hobby as well as hiking, abseiling, surfing and skating.
I am a social person, who loves a good chat but also respects the need for your own space & downtime. I like to keep the place clean, and will tidy up after myself. I work full time as an operations manager. I love a good laugh, good wine, eating & trashy TV. Most weekends I'm out & about or away. During the week, I'm a Nanna & love an early night. I'm looking to move into a place with a positive vibe, with people who are friendly.
I'm friendly, easygoing, and social, but I also appreciate some time to myself and can respect others' personal space. I'm tidy and I'll be studying often, so I'll be quiet most of the time. I'm also a violinist and may need to practise in the house. I'm flexible with when to practise, though, so that can be discussed if it's something that bothers you. I'll also be away on weekends as I have music teaching commitments, but this won't affect my paying the rent as required.
I am a (reasonably) young and vibrant woman with quite a bit of personality and a seemingly good sense of humour. I am looking for a transition apartment for a few months. I am a heritage consultant and have lived in Aus for 5 years. I offer to be respectful and tidy as well as prepare home cooked meals (if you don't mind rich french food!) and share a bottle of wine occasionally. I'm generally easy going and open minded so whether you like to have a chat at the end of the day or prefer privacy suits me. Get in touch to ask any questions!
Looking to move any time around mid April 2017. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a push bike, 2 cd racks and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space somethings could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I also have a big tv - currently with former housemates if you need one in your lounge room and have a display unit for it to sit it on - we can retrieve it .... I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Sometimes I get 4 day breaks when I've worked 10 days in a row, I try to get away for those breaks usually to Queensland. I get about 7 weeks annual leave and I like to go overseas or up to Queensland to visit my family. I try to travel outside school holiday time - who wants to pay those inflated prices ?? ;) I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Also a dryer in the laundry would be handy for those washing days when it's raining all day... :) Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
I'm a 22 yeard old guy just about to start my studies at in Applied Fitness at ACPE. I'm very passionate about health and fitness, everything from strength training to martial arts to dance (you name it) ! From all of my friends behalf, they say I'm a super cool dude who loves to meet new people from all different continents and make new relationships, good with new people, mutual respect and a strong trait of responsibility. I work in the city full-time, but on the weekends you'll often find me at the beach or out with friends. My talents include; cooking a mean pad thai, well tuned shower singing and I'm well toilet trained. I'm also tidy and always down to hang out and have a laugh. Also looking for people interested in joining my basketball team (not required for house lol).
Looking for a flat to share with some friendly girls in a town with a railway station. I work in the city center. I love going to tje beach, running, exercising at gym and make new friends.

Hello, everyone! Currently just moved to Sydney recently, originally from the UK and looking to find a group of people to stay with and have a really good time! I am a very multicultural and energetic person, traveled all around the world. Currently doing an internship at a marketing company. I like to stay healthy and fit, socialise and explore what the city has to offer! I enjoy cooking from time to time and I always keep my room and other areas as clean as possible.
We're a young couple who are looking to move in together, and with some great other people too! We're both first years, Lachie is studying at UTS and Milly at NIDA. We're both social people who enjoy conversation and food (but also know the importance of personal space at home)
