Hi, I'm Andres! I´m in my early 30´s, very friendly with a positive energy and attitude to life. I work at an IT company in Richmond during the day. I´m responsible, tidy and clean. I´m very relaxed and easy to live with. I like to go to the gym, socialise with friends and enjoy cooking at home. If you are looking for someone reliable with rent and bills, I am that guy. I´m looking to live with flatmates that are friendly. reliable and tidy. I need a room close to a train station or tram stop preferably as I don´t have a car, the room can be furnished or unfurnished.
Hi there, I am a Software Engineer, working full-time. Have been living in Brisbane for the past 19 years and now relocating to Melbourne for work. I am looking for a modern, clean, and furnished place to stay short to medium term, ie anywhere between 2-6 months. I am a vegan and love all animals. I am very friendly, I enjoy having meaningful conversations but also need my own quiet time and respect other people's space. I enjoy running, swimming, cycling, and hiking. I play the piano and love classical music. Love to travel and explore new places. If you want to learn more about me or have any questions, please feel free to send me a message! :)
Hi! I am a clean, happy person starting my first year of study at the University of Melbourne. I love cooking and baking and would love roommates that are happy to share a few meals during the week. Bonus points if you have a sweet tooth! (I make some mean cheesecakes!). I do, however, enjoy my own downtime. I love a good chat and would enjoy a roommate I could be friends with. In my free time I love curling up with a good book or movie and would love someone willing to watch TV or movies with me. I also enjoy my music and going out to see concerts and musicals when money allows is always a treat! I am a huge animal lover - I've lived with them all my life and grew up on dairy farms where I have always had pets. I am a respectful and open-minded person with an easy-going attitude.
Part-time work and part-time study in Melbourne. BA Student who loves to socialise and have a few drinks but also respects space. Looking for something medium-long term and somewhere with good access to public transport and if possible rent which includes bills. Ready to move as soon as I find the perfect place. Happy to come to meet you soon! You can call me. Thanks :)
Hi All, I'm about to return to study while working and i am looking for a rental house close to the city. I'm a fairly level headed person and don't mind if the people i live with either want to be social or keep lives seperate from eachother. However, it'd be good to be living with someone who I can kick back with on the couch. I am someone who likes, on occasion, to have a friend or two over on a friday/saturday night, but would expect all persons to respect eachothers personal/bedroom areas. I'm allergic to cats so I can't share a house with anyone that has one. Cheers
I am a German/Australian lawyer and have recently returned from a stint working for the UN in Cambodia, and am now working as a criminal prosecutor at the OPP in the city. I am 30 years old and have plenty of house training under my belt. While I like to keep fairly active, I also enjoy a chat over a glass of good wine at the end of the day.
I am 19 year old Filipino, born and raised in New Zealand. I moved to Australia 2 years ago to begin full-time dance training in Sydney and now in Melbourne to start a pre professional course at Melbourne City Ballet. I will be there 6 days a week, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. I'm a quiet, responsible and respectful housemate, always pay rent/bills on time and overall easy to live with. I love books, music, plants and fashion and in my free time I enjoy going for walks exploring the city. Looking to move in as soon as possible, preferably into a furnished room.
Hi, I'm a 23 year old Radiographer who doesn't mind a few wines and a chat, loves a cup of tea and an occasional netflix binge. I also like to keep active with pilates and running. For work there is occasionally shift work involved, so I would prefer not to live in a party house. I would be interested in becoming friends with roommates but would also like some down time occasionally. I am looking to move in late Jan to early Feb as I need to be out of my current rental by mid Feb and can supply a fair amount of furniture and appliances if need be (everything except a washing machine and microwave). I am probably looking to move in with only one or two people, so shoot me a message if you think you’re interested :)
Hi we are Liv and Rachael and both come over from the UK. We're both social and love hanging out but appreciate our down time. We have both lived in house shares for the past 4 years at uni and are tidy and respectful. I love my music and cooking/baking whilst Rach loves culture and practices yoga. We are always up for a laugh and a glass of wine from time to time.
Relocating from Sydney to Melbourne to study a Masters at UniMelb. Will be working part-time as a research assistant in women's health. Clean, quiet, easy going, and respectful of others. Enjoy bike-riding, cooking, art, gardening, and live music. Love all animals and very happy to share with your pets. Always up for a chat, and keen to make new friends :)
I'm a 22 year-old full time graphic designer working in Collingwood. I'm sociable and fun to live with but like most people I need some space every now and then. I'm looking for a place that won't be more than 1.5 hour travel to my workplace during peak hours. I would love to live with people who I can also be friends with, are tidy and respectful.
What we are looking for: We are two mates looking to find a third housemate to look for a new share house or two rooms in an existing share house. We would like to find a female to live with to break up the energy of the house. We would ideally like you to be a conscious person who lives a sustainable lifestyle and into all that natural stuff. We are not strictly vegan or vegetarian but both try to reduce harm as best we can in our dietary choices so we are open to all types. You will most likely get along with us if you are into things like yoga, meditation and spirituality as we are both that way inclined. We would like someone who can communicate openly and honestly and isn't afraid to bring up anything that they need to bring up. We both love a good conversation so ideally you will be a social person that likes a good chat! We would like to get to know our housemate/s well, and spend time enjoying each others company, although we both enjoy time to ourselves also. Matt - I work for a food rescue charity 4 days a week and like to spend my free time making music and spinning vinyls, hiking and taking photos. I spend a lot of time meditating and doing yoga, and am interested in spirituality so attend regular workshops and the like. I also thoroughly enjoy making things from recycled timber. I like to party and have a boogie from time to time but am definitely no party animal. Sherwin - I like getting out into nature whenever I can, being active, making people laugh, being genuine, and having long conversations. I like attempting to play an acoustic guitar in my free time, as well as meditation, and reading books about spirituality. I like to keep things tidy but am not fussed if things get a little messy from time to time.
Hi! I'm currently living in Northcote and after 3 years in my current place am looking for a change. I'm not in a rush (move date flexible), I'd rather take my time looking to find the right people and place. About me: I'm Jen, I'm 31 years old and work full-time (Monday to Friday, 9-5) in communications on St Kilda Road. I'm usually fairly quiet during the week and then out with friends and family on weekends. I enjoy Netflix binges, walks, going out to restaurants or for drinks with friends, movies, music and reading. I love trash tv, true crime and get overly excited each and every time I see a dog. About you: Looking for someone around a similar age to myself, who is respectful and pays bills on time. Someone who cleans up after themselves and has pride in their home. I'd like to share the occasional meal, drink or night in front of TV with you (I don't want to be strangers) but we should be happy to do our own things as well. About the place: Looking for somewhere around Northcote, Brunswick East, Fitzroy North or surrounds. I'd like to have good public transport links to my work and would like to live in a place that's nice and clean. My days of scummy sharehouses are well truly behind me! I have most furniture items but obviously happy to work together if you do too. Don't mind living in an apartment or house, I'm happy so long as it's big enough. I don't want to feel like we are living on top of one another. Get in touch if you think we'd be a good fit. Jen
Originally from Melbourne and excited to be moving back home for Uni after living in Canberra for a number of years. I've just wrapped up my gap year backpacking through Europe and about to begin an arts degree at the University of Melbourne in Feb. I have family in Melbourne and I'll be staying with them until I find accommodation. I love meeting new people and having a laugh so would love to join (or team up and create) a social share house where chats over dinner or going for a drink together isn't unusual. With that being said, I also really value my down time and know when to respect other people's space. More than happy to keep everything tidy, pitch in with chores, be punctual with bills and generally be a kind, respectful roomie. I'm open to starting up a new share house so feel free to message me if you are as well :)
Working in the city as an economic consultant and lived in share houses in Melbourne for three years already. Tidy, clean, friendly. Also respectful when other people need their space. Likes to socialise with a glass of wine or chill with a good book and a cup of tea. Has a sense of humour :)
Hi all 😊 I know everyone has 3000 of these to read so I'll make mine easy with dot points about myself! - My name is Maeve, I am 25yo and moved to Melbourne from Canberra this weekend - I like wine and chats - I love me a true crime podcast - I am in the sweet spot of not being a clean freak but believe in doing my dishes daily and in maintaining general tidyness - I have just left my job as a Youth Support Worker (in order to move to Melbourne) and have started an application with the Victoria Police (one I expect to take 9-12 months to complete) - I think I am easy to talk to and open-minded - I can make fresh spring rolls I would love a place that's sociable and fun but also respects people's need for alone time. I like to be friends with my housemates instead of simply just co-existing. My only requirement is a place to park my car. Off-street is fine. Thanks for reading and best of luck in your hunt! 😊
I returned to Melbourne a few months ago after living overseas for many years. I’m loving being back and reconnecting with old friends and all the good things Melbourne has to offer. My work is music-related; I’m a sound engineer and concert manager. I’ve picked up some great work since returning, and this year is looking good - my diary is certainly filling up. Accommodation-wise I’ve been doing a mix of house sitting and staying with friends for the last few months. I’m now looking for somewhere for the short term, possibly longer - it's all open to discussion - and preferably furnished. I know what it takes to share a home in terms of good communication and keeping things hassle-free, and I'd like to live somewhere where things are kept generally clean and tidy (as an ex-home helper I'm a dab hand with a dustpan and brush) and the place ticks along nicely. I'm probably more suited to living with over-30s. I can be quiet at times but am by no means antisocial. I enjoy reading, music, science and nature and derive ridiculous amounts of pleasure from cryptic crosswords. Don't let that put you off, though! I like to have a natter and a laugh and share occasional meals when the opportunity arises, whilst also respecting people's need for a bit of quiet time and personal space. I do yoga, walk a lot and am generally active, enjoy cooking and eat pretty well. I’m a non-smoker and not much of a drinker, but certainly don't mind if you're partial to a tipple. Do get in touch - I'd love to hear from you.
I NEED A HOME! I'm a 21yo queer, just arrived from Brisbane to study Film and Television full time and need a home ASAP! I was hoping for 3 months or long term stay and I'm ready to pay 2 months rent in advance! I'm quite a chill person who's always down for adventuring the city or laying in bed watching movies/listening to music. I love animals, musicals, drag shows, live music, art, wine, whiskey and soju. I've lived with other people before, I know how to keep shared spaces clean and respect the house I live in. I have a part time admin job and have no worries making rent. I'm also a nail technician by trade and offer whoever I live with FREE nails if you don't mind me working from home doing just a few people from time to time. But if not, that's ok too! I am on call all week for house inspections, Please message me anytime 🙂
I'm Aimee, 30 years young from the country with a toasted marshmallow for president. Currently working full time in sales, I also double as your live-in technical support team. I enjoy going to gigs, camping, cold brew coffee , and spending time with mates. I also enjoy having a relaxing night in with my housemates and a glass of red wine or beers. I studied photography at uni so always up for an adventure while bringing my camera along. I consider myself to be a clean and considerate housemate that always pay bills on time.
We are a young easy going, fun, polite couple. We both work full time - Renee is a Store Manager in Armadale and Jason is a service advisor in Epping (both working long hours). We are both massive foodies and enjoy socialising when we can. We are clean, tidy and respectful. We are available to move out as of now. If you would like to know anything else please do not hesitate to contact us :)
I'm Tash, 23 from England on a working holiday visa and looking for a home! I've just been offered a 6-month contract with the government starting in Jan, so would be looking for a longer term rental. Ideally I'm looking for a private, furnished room around $220-300 a week. Not too fussy about location as long as it's close to public transport and within half an hour to the CBD. I'm a bubbly, outgoing English gal who enjoys going to the gym, dance and netball. On weekends, I enjoy going out and socialising or staying in and sinking a few wines to a classic bubblegum movie. Also love trips to the beach, baking cupcakes and a good old English cuppa. Hoping to find like-minded housemates of a similar age group, ideally working 9-5. If anyone knows of somewhere suitable or is looking for a housemate please drop me a private message. Thanks
Well, I am fun to be around always there to create a good living environment for everybody, tidy and responsible, at least thats that my previous housemates told me :) Also I dont know how to cook in small portions so there might be some food in for you guys ;)
I’m an architect from Barcelona who comes to Melbourne to work and live new experiences for a year. I'm a pretty relaxed guy to live with, I clean up after myself and I'm always up for a chat after a working day. I like to share meals, drinks and good conversations with my housemates but also need my own private space sometimes. Nothing out of the ordinary :) Basically I can’t live without music, I like indie, techno, alternative music... always looking for new groups and concerts... I play guitar too! I enjoy spending my free time visiting expositions or art galleries, have some drinks or simply go for a walk. The best conversations I’ve ever had have been while walking! Just looking for some easygoing flatmates that enjoy to live in a fun and respectful way.
