Hey I’m Grace, I’m 23 and work full time in marketing. I also study interior decoration. I am super clean and respectful of others in the house. I love to catch up and watch tv or have a few drinks but also like a lil bit of my own space too! I have a cat so would love a place that allows pets - she also has another place to stay if need be. Looking forward to hearing from you 😊
Hi, My name is Bimal. I am 33, working professional. My work takes me places. I like to explore the cuisine scene and love working out, (yoga et al) and keeping in touch with nature. I like listening to music (jazz, house, blues, trance) and dancing. I am a clean, systematic ( comes naturally with project manager role I guess) but a wicked cook. can cook anything that I like in taste, just need the right music and wine by my side. I am sort of geeky, good with computers, great with business affairs. I like to keep busy with my stuff, and don't mind socializing or staying by myself.
I'm a full time worker who sees home as a comfortable place to wind down after work, I'm clean and respectful of others space but am also up for a drink/dinner/chats on the occasion too!
Hey potential housemates! Nice to meet you :) I'm a tidy and respectful communications & marketing professional, working full-time in the not for profit sector. In my spare time, I like to read, swing dance, and bush-walk. I'm very sociable but my job is quite full on, so I like to introvert and have down time (read, cook, netflix) on week nights. I'm ideally looking to move in with people who have a similar lifestyle/work schedule. I'm looking to live in a friendly house with people who are happy to share a glass of wine, watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine together or have a board game night occasionally, but are also respectful of personal space. Open communication is also really important to me. Non-smoker and vegetarian (but not judgmental about it). Shoot me a message if you think I'd fit into your home :) P.S. Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats so if you have a cat in your household please disclose this.
Hello! We are a couple from Brisbane looking for a room in a nice house with clean and friendly housemates. I work full time in the city and Aidan studies in Clayton, so somewhere near public transport is preferred! We will be spending a lot of time out of the house, but when we're around would love to hang out occasionally for a drink/ meal. I also love to cook (so there will usually be some fresh baked snacks around)! We're easy going and flexible, just looking for some other busy people who want a drama-free home. Happy to answer any questions you have, just ask! Hope to hear from you soon :) Sophie
HI, Together with my mate Christian, I am moving to Melbourne to study for a semester at the University of Melbourne. We are both very social and always in for a good laugh. I love surfing and outdoor sports, we are both keen skiers as well. We both have multiple years of experience in shared housing. Cristian lives with 9 guys and I live with 14 guys in Groningen, The Netherlands (we are both Dutch). We are looking for a shared house, to meet new people, in the centre preferably with two private rooms. Cristian arrives on the 14th of July and I arrive on the 21st of July. Hope to meet you soon!
Well I am pretty easygoing and friendly, and have have a good sense of humour. I worked as a journalist in Tasmania for about 37 years before taking a redundancy then taught English in some Chinese schools, and on my return retrained in Home and Community Care (HACC). I worked in HACC for about 2 1/2 years helping older people to continue to live in their homes longer. I have lived in Melbourne since the start of October last year mostly in share homes with one other person. I am living now in a house on my own at Hampton which is soon to be sold. My preference is to live in an older style house or apartment - I find modern apartments too small - I like a little space. I am passionate about dogs, I love dogs and regularly have walked one at Port Melbourne, and another at Middle Park as a volunteer for an elderly woman I use a bike to get around, although I do have a car. I love walking and cycling, and live music. I pay my bills on time including rent. I am responsible and can supply good references/referees.
Hi guys, I'm Wayne, a 26 year old Australian, just returned home from the UK and a working holiday. Ideally looking for a room in the inner suburbs, North or East Melbourne, $170 per week max. I enjoy music, guitar, films, art, travel, psychology and personal development. I'm an easy going, sociable and tidy flatmate. Cheers, hope to hear from you soon
*FEMALES ONLY* Hey! I'm looking for a place with laidback, like minded girls around my age, either an existing sharehouse or a team up :). It would be cool to find someone/people I can become friends with rather than just 'housemates', who are up for the occasional weekend outing or a trashy TV show session (HOW GOOD/ADDICTIVE IS LOVE ISLAND THO!?) at home, however also respecting each others down time also :) I work 4-5 days during the week in the city and I'm pretty laid-back as I would be at work then at the gym, and on the weekends I like to go out for lunch, meet up with friends, have a drink or five, stay active, and just be lazy on the couch watching movies. Definitely would like the communal areas clean, although a couple dishes in the sink won't bother me. One thing I do need though is to be walking distance from a train station. Basically looking for good vibes and a nicely furnished place I can feel comfortable in and call home with cool people! Move in date late July would be ideal, however I'm quite flexible for the right place :)
I am 23 and currently working/ studying towards my diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education. I am from the UK originally but have lived in Australia for six years now. I tend to keep it very chill through out the week on the "school nights" but I love a wine on the weekend or to be curled up watching something dreadful like Love Island (the UK version though, mind). I am fun, bubbly, friendly and but most importantly clean and tidy and I am very easy to get along with.
21 from Qld, moved down to Vic 6 months ago. Done a decent amount of overseas travel so I'd like to think I'm a bit cultured. I'm tidy and quiet. Looking at whats around these areas to move to if I land this new job.
I am a professional scientist looking for short-term accommodation near my workplace in Parkville. I have lived in rentals for many years and so know how to be a responsible, tidy and clean tenant. Looking for temporary accommodation of 3-6 months for quiet enjoyment after work. I would prefer to live alone.
Interested in a place with a private room available. I from the UK currently living and working in Melbourne. Easy going, clean and tidy. Enjoy the social aspect of living with people - house meals, watching films, housemate outings etc whilst respecting each others spaces. Looking for accommodation in Carlton/ Carlton North/ Fitzroy/ Fitzroy/ Northcote/ Brunswick/ Brunswick East and Brunswick West areas. Preferably furnished.
