Hi! I'm a 22 year old female Mechanical Engineer working full time (8am to 6pm ish M -F) in North West Melbourne. I'm quiet, clean, friendly and considerate. Not one for partying but I do enjoy having a chat and/or a casual beer. On weekends I'm an active person and like running, hiking, cycling, rock climbing or bouldering.
Hey I'm Sarah, I'm a Kiwi and have been in Melbourne for about 2 months now and love it! I'm working full time business hours (8am - 7pm) in the city. I'm clean & tidy, considerate, friendly :) Fairly balanced .. during the week I usually go to bed pretty early, but i'm down for a chat/drink with flatmate/friends on a friday/saturday, sometimes like to go out, or sometimes just chill in my room reading or watching netflix. I enjoy walking/running, music, bbqs and meeting new people... msg me if you are after a new flatmate!
Riley. 23. Friendly, easy-going and organised. Obsessed with cinema, live music, cycling, making films and currently developing my newfound love of swimming! I divide my time as a support worker at Homeless Crisis Accommodations in the City, and as a personal carer with disabled teenagers. I'm really easy to live with. I can keep to myself, but also am happy having a drink or a cuppa with the housemates! Currently in Brunswick. Love the North, where the bike lanes flow like mighty rivers.
Not a convicted felon. Work full time in communications in North Melbourne. I am definitely looking for 1 or 2 people who want to sign a lease on a place with a backyard. Normal peeps who mainly chill but don't mind a bevo and talking rubbish....? That kinda balance? I puppysit a kelpie x once a week, she is like a FIFO worker, just more enthusiastic
Hi I'm Sam I'm a 31 year old tradesman. I'm clean and tidy, I love to cook and clean! lol. I'm fun and social, but really quiet during the week. I like the odd night out. Don't really watch TV I like to read and listen to music instead. If you're interested in meeting me to view your property just send me a message and I will get back to you at my earliest convenience.
We just arrived Melbourne. 27 old engineers. Now, no work as engineer but hope to find soon. We r social, talkative persons and from Turkey. We can hang out together some nights out side.
Hi Guys My name is Pat. I moved from Sydney to Melbourne in 2014 to pursue academic and career goals. Within the last year I have had to step back from full time work due to increasing study commitments. I would describe myself as ambitious yet laidback. Preferred social setting is definitely a café/restaurant, although I do enjoy a sneaky night at once in a while. I currently work split shift 5.00am - 8.00 and 3.00pm - 7.00pm with school in between so I'm normally the first out of the house and first to bed but enjoy to socialise and share a meal. Also fairly clean, like to keep things tidy but by no means a neat freak. If you would like to no more please do not hesitate to ask. Look forward to meeting you Pat
Hello, I am a Malaysian seeking for accommodation that fits for two. Myself and my brother will be moving to Australia on the 14th January. I love cooking and baking and exploring nature. My brother will be studying in RMIT City Campus and I'll be working and studying part-time. Thanks
Easygoing chick wrapping up her studies and returning to work. Pet-friendly. Smoker friendly. LGBT+ friendly. Looking for good natured housemates. I always pay my bills and can easily be social but like my personal space.
I'm a mature 20 yrs old recent uni grad. Moving to Melbourne for some career opportunities. I have a full time job lined up. In the evenings I have another part time job some nights and other nights ill be playing sport. So I'll hardly be home! I am quite, respectful and career orientated person. Im a non smoker, non drinker, non partier. If your place has off street parking and furnished would be a massive bonus! I'm flexible about move in date, ideally early to mid Jan would suit me best. I'm also flexible about the suburbs and would prefer an all female household. Please contact me if your interested :)
Hello, Jess here (from the US)! I will be in Melbourne for 2 months while Cirque du Soleil is in town. I am pretty laid back, clean and tidy, and as I work evenings and weekends, most of the time it'll be like no one is around. I am also finishing up a master's degree, so I'll mostly be typing quietly my life away any time I am home. If you have a place or want to share, please reach out! Thanks!
Hi! I'm Elly-Kate. I will be starting my Masters at UNSW next year and I'm looking to move in to a place around early to mid January. I love cooking, chilling out at home with music or movies, going to the beach and travel! I also love chatting, but like having my own time as well :) if you think I sound like your kind of housemate, let me know!
23 y.o. beer, live music and Richmond Tigers enthusiast, I'm returning to Uni in 2017 after what I like to call a 3 year gap year. I hate the thought of living in a house of room hermits and want to find some like minded housemates who don't mind each others company and are keen to partake in activities together (pub excursions, gigs, adventures, etc.) but also don't mind some down time after a long day slaving away for the man.
Hey guys and girls, I'm looking for a place close to Virgin Active- a bit of a stretch so I would also consider anywhere else with hot water and good coffee within a 500m radius (also, probably pushing it). I love dogs, brunch and online shopping but never buying anything. I am a bit of a tomboy so bonus is I spend minimal time in the bathroom and I can fix stuff (no guarantee it won't fall apart again). I work full time and study part time so I'm rarely home and when I am I'm fairly quiet and usually studying, sleeping or cooking. I generally like to live an active and healthy lifestyle but also.. burgers. I only drink water, wine or coffee. I'm quiet and get up super early during the week but 9/10 times Í'm down to let loose come Friday. I am pretty clean and tidy, always down for a good chat - unless it's exam time- please don't talk to me unless it's to ask if I want food or caffeine. I'm well sharehouse trained and mindful of others' privacy and downtime. Get in touch so we can get to know each other a little better and see if we might be a good fit :)
I am moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for university. I love sport particularly Aussie Rules. I like to play my PS4 and watch many different TV series. I can be a great guy to joke around with but also like to keep my own space.
I'm a relatively new person to Melbourne as I hail from WA originally. I've got a part time job with Coles to at least have money coming through the door, but ultimately I would like to start my career in IT as I've graduated from uni - back in WA - not too long ago and want to see something come out for it. I'm a very friendly guy, and believe that making a house a sanctuary is important for our health. Speaking of which I'm very dedicated to, going to the gym and eating right, I don't smoke, social drinker and I'm very open about mental health. I am a bit of a night owl but I understand fully well how important it is to have silence in the night to sleep. I am looking for a large room to fit a double bed, bedside tables, computer station, and preferrable BIR. Looking for a room that has both heating and cooling facilities available
Sydney-sider looking around eastern beaches. Was married living in Newcastle & now divorced. Have been house-sitting for family friends who are returning later this month. Been living in Sydney for last 4 years. Work full-time in Health for SESLHD NSW Health Social but also like solitude. Active person who loves the ocean. Live quietly and non-drinker. Respect others privacy.
My name is Cadfan im 30 years old and am a backpacker from Wales. I love to travel. Im going to be in Melbourne until at least may. Im clean and tidy, love to cook and stay healthy and enjoy socialising on weekends. During the week i enjoy chilling out watching films and netfix.
Myself and my friend are coming to Melbourne on Jan 14. We both have completed engineering. We both are looking rooms at an affordable amount. We both are jovial and adaptable to any situation.
I'm neat and tidy, and I enjoy having a living space that is friendly and comfortable. People say I'm easygoing, friendly and respectful. I don't have pets but I grew up on a farm and I love animals so if you do that's totally fine. I travel for work a bit so every second week I'm away for 2-3 nights so you will have some space to yourself. I'm not looking for a furnished room as i currently have everything needed to furnish a 1 bedroom unit however happy to get rid of the things I don't need if you already have a furnished place but would prefer to keep my own bed etc. Prefer to only live with 1 other person and would like to have separate bathrooms or separate routines.
I´m 21 years old and I´m from Norway. I study at UNSW and I spend my freetime at the dancestudio, at the beach or out with friends. I´m happy, tidy and I love to cook! Looking for a home not just a place to stay. I´ m in Norway now to spend the holidays with my family, but will be back in Sydney 14th of February :)
I'm a med student from Berlin, Germany and I will work at the St. Vincent's Hospital for two months. I am a tidy and quiet guy and as I lived on my own for quite some time I respect the privacy of my flatmates. I also stayed in a dormitory in Switzerland for a few months and come to like joint activities like cooking together. I am a sporty guy and I would like to discover the area.
I am very upbeat and outgoing and looking for down to earth people to move in with. Currently working within the finance sector and use to work in the health industry for 10+ years prior.
Hi, my name is Jess. I'm looking for a room in Sydney - preferably near the water or a train station. I require parking. A built in wardrobe would be ideal. The room can be furnished or unfurnished. I'd like to pay a maximum of $260 per week - including most utilities (wifi, water, gas and electricity). Preferably, I'd like to live with 2-3 people. I do not have a preference regarding gender, but would like to live with others in the 27-35 year old age bracket. A bit about me: I'm 27 years old. I am a student studying a Master of Clinical Psychology at UTS and work part time as psychologist in Sutherland. In my spare time, I like to run, keep fit, catch up with friends, and enjoy a good glass of red. I've lived in share accommodation for about 3 years now, so I'm well accustomed to living with others. I currently live in Cronulla but would like to live closer to uni. I also have many friends in this area. If I sound like a good fit, send me an email and I'd be happy to check out your place if it meets my needs. Cheers, Jess
I'm from Malaysia, can speak English, Mandarin, Malay and Cantonese. Am a student currently studying in UNSW. The first time you see me shy, next time you'll see me bold (that's a thing for Asian, I know). I'm an ambivert who like to socialise with others meanwhile enjoy being with myself. Books, Fashion, Music, Beer, Wine, Talk, Sleep, Photography and maybe more..
Looking for a 6 month share deal while I finish my Master's in Renewable Energy Engineering. I work in North Sydney and attend classes at UNSW- Kensington. I am looking for something close to the train line. I was an R.A. for 3 years during my undergrad, and have seen and lived in great and terrible living situations- so I am very aware. I am interested in energy efficiency and try to use a little utilities as possible. Non-smoker, and I won't tolerate any smoking near a house/flat. I am a very light sleeper too. I am a big outdoors person, ride my bike everywhere, train Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu and Judo. My friend Ari also trains BJJ.
Hi there, I'm Emily and I am in the process of re-locating from the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula to Melbourne in Jan 2017 - hoping to find a perfect place with great flat mates. I am 24 years old, working full time as an Occupational Therapist. I have a very friendly and well-behaved dog who lives/sleeps outdoors, therefore I would need to find a house with a suitable backyard/courtyard. I love the outdoors, socialising with friends, travelling, exercise and having a wine or two! I am neat and tidy and feel I am very easy to live with. Emily :)
Hey there I'm Mikaela... at the moment i'm looking at moving from New Zealand to Melbourne. I have a cat that i'm wanting to bring with me. At this stage i'm looking to come over in mid February. I'm a passionate barista wanting to experience the Australian coffee culture. I've been flatting for the last 4 years. I'm easy going, tidy, reliable, enjoy chilling out with friends and can make great coffee!
A funny and chilled Colombian living in Melbourne for the last 11 years. Cause of my work i could supply fruit and veg to the house so if you have me you could have endless salads and whatever vegetarians eat these days lol
Hey! My name is Kevin and I will be moving to Melbourne in mid January. I'm from bayside Brisbane but spent the last three years finishing Uni in Canberra. I've lived with others since I moved to Canberra so I'm pretty good when it comes to communal living and stuff (I won't steal your pizza from the fridge). Ive shared houses with both guys and gals as well. I have a job already sorted so bills won't ever be a 'next week' issue. I'm super friendly as well and enjoy most things fun in life! I love watching movies, snowboarding, surfing, playing soccer and Im a very well travelled person (will be in Austria in December). My ideal flatmates are people that I could socialise with. I'll be busy at work most days of the week and most of you would be too but I'd hate to live with people I couldn't even say hi to or share a movie with. I'd say I care more about who I'm house sharing with than what the house is like. Would love to have a dog so if you already have one I'll treat it like one of us. Also cool to start our own houseshare. Just realised you cant even message anyone on here without having to pay. Feel free to shoot me a message on waterfordwest08 google mail
I am Jorge from Chile, Industrial Engineer. I'm going to arrive Australia with Working Holiday Visa. I would like to know diferent people, new places and cultures, besides improve my english. Hi, I'm Ash! I'm looking to either move into an existing Share home or to team up with someone. I'm a clean person who respects other people personal space as I like mine respected. However, I'll never shy away from a good chill out/catch up sesh, or a few drinks - Let's be real here. If you want to have your friends over thats great, just as long as they are chill too. I'd love to catch up with you for coffee so we can sus out our potential as roomies. Or we could just wing it! I have access to a Standard size fridge, couches... pretty much everything as Im not at all a rookie at this house sharing deal.
Hi, my name is Lauren and I currently study Naturopathy full-time at Endeavour College. I am very passionate about my studies and my interests outside of study include cooking, bushwalking/hiking (and any variant of outdoor exploring activities), making my own natural herbal remedies and socialising! I am originally from Sydney and made the move to Melbourne early February 2016 to start a new chapter of my life and complete my degree. I believe that I am a very considerate flatmate. I am not new to share-housing and I always clean up after myself and am very considerate of other flatmates. I really look forward to meeting anyone who is interested in living with me!
I'm a 31 year old professional moving to Sydney for a new role beginning January 16th - I'll be working in the AFL industry. I enjoy sports, having a laugh and spending my spare time at the beach. My partner will be visiting when she can from Melbourne throughout the year and likely on school holidays as she is a teacher.
JUST MADE THE MOVE TO MELBOURNE ON NOVEMBER 4TH! I'm a 31-year-old female from the beautiful town of Telluride, Colorado! I am here on a Working Holiday Visa because I want to learn all about coffee, the Australian way. I work as a head barista and ran a couple of my own small businesses back in Colorado. I am extremely fun to be around (very sociable), but I also am very understanding and considerate. My friends call me "Mom" because I take care of everyone. I am clean and dependable (I always pay rent way before it's due). I like to go out, have quieter nights in, but don't mind the occasional dinner parties (I love to cook heaps)! I love traveling and getting to know others from different cultures, so I am very excited to meet more Aussies! I used to live in Wellington, New Zealand, so it makes sense that I should make Melbourne my next home! I am open to any housing situation, including subletting, but I prefer to have my own room.
I am looking for a private room or a small studio, near to UNSW Kensington campus. I am looking for a quite place, and if it is possible with separate toilet and with access to the a kitchen I am a PhD student at the UNSW. If someone know a room please call me or send me a message.

Hi Everyone, My name is Niketa and I will be arriving in Melbourne on January 2, 2017. I am looking for a place before I arrive. I will be attending Melbourne Law School in February 2017. I am originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Criminology and I am now pursuing my law degree. I want to find a place that is about a 15-20 minute commute to school. Also, I prefer a private bedroom with it's own washroom (ensuite preferred). I am a mature, energetic, independent young woman who has a vast array of dreams and ambitions to accomplish. I have a great sense of humor and I would say that I am a very social person, but I also like my alone time especially when it comes to studying for school. I'm a huge foodie. Toronto has every cultural restaurant you can think of and I love going out to restaurants to try different foods as well as cooking at home. My specialty though is baking cheesecake with a twist. I also love to read, dance and listen to music on my down time. I love the outdoors. I enjoy rollerblading and going for walks/hikes.
Hello, We are a couple looking for a room to stay in for the first semester of 2017. Juliette is from Noosa Heads beginning a Masters at the University of Melbourne and I am from Wagga Wagga doing a bachelor of education at Victoria University. We are both respectful and clean, we also love to socialise but like our quiet time. Juliette loves to garden and read books and I love to be active and fit (not saying Juliette is lazy, she would kill me!) We both have quite a bit of experience sharing houses so understand the need to fit into a household seamlessly. Both of us are new to melbourne so do not know our way around very well and are keen to go out and about venturing in our new home!
