Hi hello, I am Maisie, 19, I work at a cafe in the CBD Monday to Friday, currently living in Frankston so looking for something closer to work. I play in a band and gig quite regularly so usually out on weekends. Pretty social when it's called for but v chill and relaxed at home. :) Doing a 1 year course in graphic design starting in July at RMIT. Looking for other people of a similar age bracket, preferably with similar sorta lifestyle/interests as me who are keen to get to know each other :)
Hey everybody! I'm Davide, 32 years old, from Milan, Italy. I'm a physician, trainee in Psychiatry, and I will stay in Melbourne for 6-7 months to train and participate in a research project with the University of Melbourne about youth mental health. I already shared a couple of houses for some years with other flatmates, that describe me as nice, tidy and friendly. In my spare time I like going to the movies, concerts, art shows, to binge watch Netflix and sometimes enjoy a beer or a nice wine. Could make the real Carbonara. Hopefully if I have enough free time I will enjoy learning how to surf! I'm hoping to find a beautiful furnished room in a shared house with friendly flatmates, that likes sometimes to go out or to have a meal together, and respect privacy. I'm planning to move mostly by bike, so I hope there will be some space to keep it. Even if I like them, I'm allergic to dogs and cats :/. I don't smoke, but don't mind if you do. looking forward to hearing from you! Davide
Hi.. We are 2 college mates looking for an accommodation approximately within 10km radius from Victoria University - Footscray Park campus. We are currently pursuing masters in Victoria.
Hello everyone, my name is Juan, I am a 28 yo Colombian engineer who is studying the master of environment at The University of Melbourne. I am a friendly person, easygoing, clean and organized. I like sports specially tennis, reading and having good conversations with a cup of coffee. I am also a quiet person as I spend most of the time reading and doing my assignments. By the way, I have my own queen size bed. Thank you!
26 yo professional working full time (local government / contractor) and studying my Master's part-time (design / architecure) seeking a stable, long-term cozy place to call home. A litte about me... I'm a dual national and moved here from the States, love red wine, travel, yoga, art, music. Hobbies include B&W film photography, singing, dancing, and playing guitar. Extremely open-minded and accepting, very tidy, respectful of boundaries and privacy...I tend more on the side of quiet homebody type, but do enjoy a bev or a dinner in with mates on occasion.
I am a student and full time worker looking for a place to call home. Last year I decided to change my career from the corporate side to the social field and I am dedicating my spare time to learn more about it. I wake up very early in the morning to work in CBD, so a quite place at night would be perfect. I am very busy on the weekdays working in two different places and going to school, so on the weekends I really appreciate to sleep until late hours and relax. I spend my time reading, chatting with my family and going out with friends for drinks or dinner. I like to share meals and drinks but not to live in a party house. If you feel I am the right person, please let me know. I’d like to organise an inspection.
Hi there! I'm Angie. My partner and I are looking to move in together and are seeking a place near the city but close to his work and mine. We're an organized & career-oriented couple. looking for a place that feels like a home to us. we'd love to mingle with our others but also respect other's need for privacy. If you're looking for a nice and tidy couple. please don't hesitate to contact us. it's likely we're looking for you too :)
*Urgent - desperately seeking accommodation* I'm a quiet, respectful, hard-working student. I study full time during the year, working as a bartender on weekends to supplement my income. I'm originally from Perth but have lived in Melbourne for 6 months now. In my spare time I like gyming, movies and photography. I'm looking for accommodation closer to the city, preferably longer term than shorter.
Hi all, My name is Swati. I'm originally from Brisbane, but moved to Melbourne this year after a couple of years in London. I work in the legal industry, and work normal business hours. I'm looking to move into a room with my own bathroom in an existing flatshare around May 5, that is preferably near public transport options. For a period around six months. My weekly budget is under $340. Not great at describing myself haha, but I love to cook (dw always clean up after myself), have a bit of a social life (who doesn't love going on urbanlist to check out what's happening that week), definitely guilty of starting one episode on Stan and the next thing I know I've watched the entire season in a day, and am never without my camera. Basically I'm looking for a home, and want to move into a space that allows me to contribute to that. I've lived in a few house shares and I've been fortunate enough to make life long friends. If you know of anything, please do contact me. Thank you 😊
Hi, there! My name is Mina. I am from Laos, one of the southeast Asia countries. I am quite new to Melbourne. I come here to get a Master of International Development student at RMIT. Personally, I am an open minded person. I am interested in intercultural context. I enjoy learning and chatting with people sometimes. As well as, I am an introvert. I would like to have my private time. My usual hobby is Photographing and cooking. I am a flexible person and easy to talk with. I am looking for open minded people to live with and have a great time together. I prefer non smokers. One more thing, I love music and dance. It would be nice to rest and having good rest. My quote is "life is too short, be happy and smile" I am looking for a private room in a share house or apartment. As I am a nature type, I would prefer a balcony to see views more than a square room. It can be near to CBD or suburbs with less than 30 mins travel. It would be great to stay with people who can share similar interest. Mina :)
Hi my name is Matt and I'm a 26 year old guy from NZ. I currently am living in Kensington but we are having to move out as there will be renovations going on at the property. I am a fairly laid back and chilled guy who is really into his sports. I work presently as an area manager for a plumbing supplies company so i can be away some of the time as well but when I'm in Melbourne i do work from home or I'm out on the road visiting clients. On the weekend i usually try and kick back, relax and catch up with friends but also up for enjoying a drink on the town.
Easy going fella, very clean and tidy, love a beer of course, keen to meet new people, I work full time as a trademan in the power industry,i work full time i work long hours in the week days,I'm very sociable and love cooking up a feed.
I'm a graphic designer, currently working full time for a travel company - mates rates, am I right ;) - but also do a bit of freelance work on the side on weeknights and weekends (Ideally I'd love to live somewhere I could fit a desk in to facilitate this!) I'm originally from Adelaide, but have been living in Melbourne for a bit over a year, and love it! I play social basketball a couple times a week, enjoy watching a good game of AFL (Port Adelaide, of course!) and try to get to a live gig or a festival as much as I can - love it! Also, anything art, design, music, movie or comedy related is right up my alley. I'm very easy going, and enjoy a bit of banter (dad jokes are guaranteed to make me lol). I like to socialise, and always love meeting new people, but at the same time I appreciate having my own space and quiet time every so often. I appreciate a tidy house-hold, and am a strong believer and do-er of cleaning up after yourself! Feel free to get in touch if you would like to know any more about me, or what I'm looking for (or if you have any quality dad jokes to share) D :)
Originally from the UK and now living in Melbourne on a 4 year sponsored visa, having spent the last 3 years living and working in Austria. Currently living in Kensington and a returning Flatmates.com-user as my current landlord is moving back from overseas and wants his house back! Looking to remain in the area as I love it here! I'm fairly well-travelled and will be coming from shared accommodation, so I understand how important it is to be a clean and respectful housemate. An outgoing person and like to stay active whether it be in the gym, playing sports or out on a hike, etc; but also appreciate my own and respectful of others' downtime and space. I work full-time as a Project Manager (8am-5pm) so weeknights are pretty low-key between work and keeping active, but it would be great to meet housemates keen to enjoy the odd meal, gig, pub-trip, etc together! If you've any questions, please feel free to ask!
Hi, I’m Nicky. I’m a 27 year old professional from New Zealand. I’ve been living in Melbourne for the past two years. I currently work in sport and like to lead a relatively active lifestyle going to the gym, walks etc. That being said, I do really enjoy a quiet night in and a good binge session of Netflix. I am pretty easy going and looking for people who are on a similar page. I’m looking for: - People to team up in ideally a three bedroom house or townhouse in or close to Moonee Ponds. - Flatmates who are happy to live with a cat. I have a sweet older boy called Louie. He’s pretty shy and keeps to himself a lot of the time. Other things worth knowing about me: - I have almost all common area furniture except a washing machine and microwave which I am currently trying to source. - I am a vegetarian (it doesn’t bother me in the slightest if you are or aren’t) - I work long hours at the end and beginning of the year. I am looking to move mid May at this stage. I would love to meet up with potential flatmates in the coming weeks to see if we are compatible and looking for similar things.
Hi. Most of the time I am busy working, and the rest of it I like spending it with my boyfriend or reading in my room. I am more like an introvert person but I like to be around people. I would like a nice and quiet place where I can cook, relax and not far from the city. Pam
Hey! I am a chemical engineer working in Melbourne's Western suburbs. Hoping to find somewhere in the inner West or North West. In my free time I like to spend quality time with friends and family, enjoy food and drink, play sport (especially basketball), and watch sport (especially the Geelong Cats!). I'm looking for a place where I can feel at home, have some quiet time, but still be social with my housemates.
