I'm a 21 year old music student studying at Victoria Uni. I'm currently overseas and will be back on the 14th of June so I'll need a place anytime after then. I'm a singer/songwriter so I can occasionally be loud while practicing and recording but always try to save this for when no one's home. I like chill nights to myself but am always down for Netflix bingeing with roomies and for a drink or 3 at the local pub.
Hi, I'm a Brit on a working holiday, looking to move into a private room ASAP! Hoping to stay for around 6 months or more in the right house. 30 yo professional, sociable but beyond regular wild nights out these days..! Enjoy reading, yoga, health & fitness, arts & culture, science & nature... Lefty, open, vegan, and looking for similar but not at all fussy or bothered by others doing exactly as they please! Clean and live minimally in terms of possessions.
Hey, Vishaal this side. I am a full-time masters student at unimelb. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean around. I m a quiet person, not a party animal but cool with socializing and having small chats. Looking for long term and will move here in July.
Hi I'm Ben, I'm a 30 year old civil engineer looking for a home. I work a 9-5 job (usually a bit longer) and enjoy making the most out of my time off. I'm looking for people who have good social skills, are tidy, respect their fellow housemates, are responsible and are more than happy to make friends.
Hey, future bestie! I'm an international student at the University of Melbourne, with major in Construction Management. Pure Armenian raised in Russia. Have lots of cultural backgrounds to share! Passionate about languages, now speaking English, Armenian, Russian and currently learning Spanish. My life goal is to speak 10 different ones. I consider myself as mature, hard-working person. Always clean up everything after myself and respect others. I believe that my freeness end where another persons begin. I am easy going and positive, with high hygiene standard. Sometimes need time for myself though (kinda introvertish) I love European food, exceptionally crazy about Italian... mmm... lip-smacking! Recently fell in love with the Indian and Chinese kitchen as well. Also, I could sell my soul for a good apple cider or vine, not an alcoholic though:) Oh, btw, I have an awesome red motorbike, so grab a helmet and hop on the bike for a windy ride! If you've read till this point and think that we share common values and interests, I would be happy to share living space with you! I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months or more (1 year or more). Feel free to drop a message!
Hi :) I'm a 20 year old Kiwi and I've lived in Australia since I was 5. My parents are moving back to NZ so I am looking to move out on my own. I'm very easy going, love painting, going to gigs and I play guitar and bass. I'm a huge animal lover and I have no problem living with smokers. I absolutely love cooking, I cook a huge vegan dinner for my family every night and would be super happy to cook for housemates sometimes. I'm very clean and respectful of other's privacy. My ideal night at home is a good dinner followed by chatting around the table with a glass of wine and a bit of funky music. Cheers
Im pretty chill when it comes to living with flatmates. Love Music, Cooking, Fitness, Coffee and sitting down for warm drink with my mates from time to time. I am very organised and like to keep things tidy. I am quiet and respect any house rules set forth. I've been living in Melbourne for 3 years and absolutely love it here. Doing my engineering degree at Unimelb and working part time.
Hey my name is Charlotte! I am a student from the rainy country Holland, where I'm studying hotel and event management. My friends describe me as nice, friendly but also funny and outgoing! I love to cook, which I something I'd happily do for you too and I like my place clean! Right now I am unfortunately staying in a hotel because I had an awful experience with a booking through Airbnb. This is why I am looking for a nice home, where I can find my peace and have a nice time during my internship at the helping hand group here in Melbourne. I'd hope to hear from you as soon as possible!
Hey! I'm an easy going and a fun person. Organized, clean and respect one's privacy.I will be studying at RMIT.I live a pretty healthy lifestyle and like to regularly work-out.Love to travel, hike, roadtrip, climbing, discovering new things and into sports. I like to socialise, but I am respectful of doing that in the apartment/house and would be out enjoying Melbourne on the weekend. I am independent and so my own space is important to me, but also like to socialise and get to know those I live with. Free to ask more questions if interested! :)
Hey people, Looking for somewhere to stay close-ish to the CBD, if anyone has a room free please let me know! I am also open to starting a new sharehouse if you're looking for someone to join up. About me: I recently moved from Perth - enjoy a bunch of things like cooking, gardening, camping/outdoors, seeing live music, festivals and taking photos. I'm pretty easygoing and respectful to my housemates, always tidy and considerate. I like a good balance between spending time on my own and with housemates and would be up for dinners and drinks together. Will pay bills on time and contribute with buying common needs. I also don't have a car so do not require a parking space. I'm flexible with move-in date and length of stay, I'll be studying at unimelb for the next two years
Hi, I'm Jemma and I'm an Australian second year nursing student. I live in country Victoria and find it hard to travel to uni every day so I'm looking for somewhere to live during the week. I really enjoy time to myself however also love catching up for some good food and a drink! I would prefer a share house with girls however am open to living with guys similar in age to myself (18-25) if there are also girls in the house. Would love to hear from youuuuuu! :) (P.S A house with parking is preferable)
I’m a very laid back, friendly and clean person. I’m also a hardworking, people person but like time to myself. I’m looking for something long term, something I can call home with great roommates. I have a little bunny named Bunnings, he’s super friendly, well behaved and toilet trained. You’ll literally fall in love with him, he’s the best! (He’ll be in a hutch also)
I’m a 23 year old beachy girl who’s recently moved to the city. I’m working full time Monday to Friday and aim to spend my time off exploring this insane city or spending time working on things that benefit my life in some way, sometimes that’s just gotta be down time. I like to believe that I’m very open minded and a very positive person. My perfect house would be described I guess as a tidy but not uptight environment.
Born in QLD but been living in Ballarat/Melbourne for the past 5 years. I'm friendly, quiet and polite. Shy at first but easy to get along with. Willing to pull my weight with cleaning, etc.
I’ve recently moved to Melbourne from NZ. Im a nurse. I won’t have a car when I move to Auz so I’m looking for somewhere super close to the Royal children’s hospital where I’ll be working. I’m chill. Clean. Respectful. Always pay rent on time. & good banter
Hi! Let’s get the boring stuff out of the way first: I'm moving from Sydney to find a place to call home long-term in Melbourne, the best city in the country. Leaning towards unfurnished but it’s not a dealbreaker, a backyard, good shower pressure, walkable to a train/tram stop and a dryer are happy bonuses but not requirements, decent internet is a must, I’m LGBTQI+ friendly, I ride a motorcycle so parking isn’t an issue, and I am not a fan of spiders or bugs. Now onto the important stuff: I’m taking control of my life and moving to a city I love to pursue a new career in scriptwriting. I was a VR and game developer and i’ll be doing that freelance from time to time. I travel a lot, I can cook (and intend to subscribe to HelloFresh again when I move in, which means i’m down to cook for the house a few times a week), I’ll be auditioning like mad to every amateur theatre group within convenient distance, I’ve always got one song or another stuck in my head, I'm learning the synth and I’m volunteering for the Lifeline suicide prevention hotline. I won't have a full time job when I get move in but I do have a modest trust fund, so I'll never miss a rent or bill payment and I’ll be getting a part time job once i’m settled in. I've lived in share houses before so I know the drill, regular cleaning and respect for common areas and not eating other peoples food and all that. I also come with all sorts of handy house stuff like a big TV, microwave and kitchen stuff if we need it, otherwise I’ll sell it. Oh yeah, and a room-scale VR headset you can play with :D And here’s the biggest thing: This is probably gonna sound odd, but I've come to Melbourne to look for a home with an atmosphere that fosters creativity. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's full of painters and musicians and the like (although that'd be awesome), it means I'm looking for a certain vibe of collaboration or camaraderie, a home rather than a house. I reckon that's more important than details like whether or not there's a dryer or distance to public transport, who you live with is more important than where you live. If any of that resonates with you and your housemates, I’m available for viewings whenever! Thanks for reading all that Adam
Hey potential flatmates! I'm coming to University of Melbourne on exchange from University of Toronto. I will be arriving in Melbourne mid July. I just finished my first year at Uni studying environmental and urban geography. I'm friendly, tidy, and respectful of others space and privacy. I am easy going and tend to go with the flow. I like cooking, baking and and trying new foods - I'm basically a foodie! I also love dessert, I'm pretty much addicted to chocolate haha! I enjoy working out, going to the beach and being outdoors. Canada doesn't get much sun so I'm definitely looking forward to some aussie sunshine. I love to travel and like hearing about other's traveling experiences. I've been to Australia a few times, mainly Perth and Sydney, and even did an exchange back in high school to Coffs Harbour, NSW. I haven't been to Melbourne yet so I look forward to going out and exploring the city! Feel free to message me if you are interested in having me as a new flatmate or doing a team up! Thanks!
Will join Melbourne as a student of University of Melbourne in July. Looking for a room with single bed option, no bunk beds (coz I'm kinda claustrophobic). An easy-going person and pretty friendly. Love a good chat but also respects personal space. Can't wait to meet my new roomies. See ya soon! :)
Hiiii my name is Lexi! I’m 19 and I work full-time as a receptionist in Moonee Ponds. I’m currently living in a share house in Niddrie but my housemates have decided to move out with their boyfriends so we won’t be renewing the lease. I am not around much in the day time but love to relax and watch some Netflix at night accompanied by a cup of tea! I do also have a 2 year old black cat Binky who is so beautiful and full of love. Contact me if you think I’d be a great fit for your home or if you have any questions.
I'm very tidy and I love living in clean places. I'm very friendly and just love meeting new people.
Hello! My name is Emma. I recently moved to Melbourne to study and am looking for a room to call my own. I like keeping things clean and tidy, like to socialise but also like my own space and time and definitely respect privacy. Always up for a chat and perhaps sharing occasional meals together but I'm happy not to aswell. I enjoy cooking and eat quite healthily. Im friendly to all I meet and easy going to live with (as long as you're willing to keep the place clean too) :) I'm pretty quiet when I'm at home and not a party person at all (although I love the odd glass of wine) so looking for a relaxing home to live in. Im pretty flexible with the length of my stay and would potentially like to stay somewhere for a year or even more if suitable. Nothing less then 5 months. Also flexible on the move in date, can be sooner or later aswell. If you think we'd live welll together, I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
I’m 27 years old, male, work full time in Admin/Conveyancing for a CBD Law firm, but my true passion is music. I perform regularly around town, often touring and recording. I also DJ most weekends in bars and clubs so I’m out quite a bit. Other interests include comedy (esp. British), world history and international politics. I’m quite independent and busy chasing my dreams, burning the midnight oil most nights.. but also very friendly, outgoing and approachable. I love a clean, tidy household that's nice to come home to, and I’m ultra-reliable on all fronts. I'm after a room which is pretty large in size, ideally at least 3 x 4m - I have some items to contribute to the house if required, otherwise I’m happy to leave in storage. These include, 2 x couches, Fridge, HD TV, various chairs and tables, microwave, Plates, pots, utensils etc.. One last thing: I have a car, so I'd just need somewhere to park it. Hope to hear from you soon! =)
