I’m moving to Melbourne to go to school at Victoria University. I’m hoping to start working part time at some point, I honestly don’t think I’ll be able to survive otherwise. I’m not sure if I’m great to live with, I’m honestly very timid. So if I’m annoying it’ll hopefully be because I’m trying so hard not to be, so at least my intentions are good! I like sports, I like board games. I actually like washing dishes, don’t know why, it’s cathartic. I can be messy, but it’s restricted to my room. I am looking for places that are near public transport, because I can’t drive. I’m transgender, I guess that’s important, I don’t really know what I’m doing. I might hide in my room, I assure you this is because I’m sad and has nothing to do with you. Also I feel awkward listing myself as a girl, I don’t want to impose myself and my messed up head on you, and I won’t be insulted if you’d rather address me as male.
Im honest, trustworthy and empathetic. I don’t use drugs Financially stable I’m sociable, enjoy yoga, a clean person and respectful of others space and boundaries Work in community services sector I can have a laugh at myself
Hey! I'm Ety, a brazilian happy soul who’s in Melbourne to study and have fun. I’m living here since a year and I pretend to stay for long. I’m used to share home with anothers, so I appreciate a clean and organize space. Tbh I'm most of the time at work or school but I’m aways keen to hang out, share a dinner and have a chat.
Hello all you beautiful people!! I'm looking for a large room for my sister and me. Preferably closer to the city. Budget is $300/week. We're super clean, respectful and mostly keep to ourselves. (Unless you want to talk about Disney/Pixar movies. Then we won't shut up!) Looking to move in on the 24th of this month. Thank you 😊
Hi :) I am Sabrina and am currently doing an internship at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute until January. In my (very limited) free time I enjoy cooking or baking (I am vegetarian but don’t have a problem with meat eaters at all), Netflix binge watches but also doing sports like running or yoga. I am tidy, won’t be home a lot but when I am always happy to have a good conversation or a drink (or coffee! lots of coffee :D). I also like pets very much, so that wouldn’t be a problem. I don’t have any furniture at the moment but if it’s the right place I am happy to organise some. The weekly maximum I can pay is $250 inkluding bills. Let me know if you are interested! Sabrina
hi My name is Elana, i'm 18 years of age currently studying at RMIT and working part time in retail. I’m very passionate about music and especially love to dance and going to festivals and gigs. i’m also a lover of nature and the beach! You’re place looks amazing and i really hope to be considered for the spot, Thank you
Hey! I'm a 34 - year old psychology student, studying over at Victoria University in Footscray Park campus. I like to do a bit of cooking, and would love to have a team cook-out with my flatmates or other similar shenanigans. For my free time, I'm mainly focusing on my studies, and going to the gym. I value cleanliness and consideration above all else. Looking for like-minded individuals who want to live in a clean, calm (especially at night-time), and pleasant environment. I don't have too much of my own stuff, so I'm ideal for households that don't want the property to be crammed with different items. Also for that reason I'm looking for a furnished room. Drop a message and lets have a chat. :)
I’m 22, and am working full time at the moment in hospitality, thinking of getting back into study next year. I’ve been know as the 'old souled 22 yr old’, but love a good bit of social hangout time and a few drinks here and there. Im a clean and tidy person and am always happy to do more then my fair share of house work if reciprocated. I also have a cat, her name is Pudding, she is a shy and timid female ginger, once you get to know her she'll indulge in a good head scratch. A little about what im looking for: People who are tidy and clean up after themselves, contribute to house cleaning, keep the communal space clean of your clutter, open minded. :)
Hi there, I am a full time employed Accounts Officer, quiet and clean with a wonderful smart cuddly dog. The dog needs the backyard and I need a room:) I love my plants, baking and going for a jog. I am not a party person and seek a clean house. The dog will add an excellent layer of security to the property, barks very little, only when something's not right:) Please message me if something like this available: clean, private and affordable. Moving due to a breakup in relationship. Cheers Ana
Hi Everyone! In mid/late-September 2018, my housemates and I will end our lease together on what has been an awesome home in the heart of Preston. While we’re all moving in different directions, I’m looking to stick around either the Inner North/Northside up to Reservoir, or somewhere close-ish to Carlton/Parkville with the hope of securing a private room with some quality like-minded people in a share-house. I’m currently a full-time PhD student at Unimelb researching medication to manage behaviour in health settings, and I also work there part-time on a variety of research projects relating to mental health and the law. Additionally, I produce electronic music (with headphones on mostly) and very occasionally throw down a few tracks here and there in darkened clubs and festivals around the place. In a home, I look for a warm, friendly, respectful vibe with open communication and value people who generally care about the world and themselves. A bit more about me: 39, male, non-smoker, creative, LGBTQIA+ friendly, tidy, introverted-ambivert (i.e. social, yet values alone-time), and mellow. Interests: music, foreign/indie films with a touch of sci-fi, health & well-being, cooking, gardening, bicycles, art/design generally. I don’t have any pets, but I think dogs and other animal companions are ace. Thanks for reading and good luck with your searches!
Hey there! Born and bred in Adelaide, I moved to Melbourne to pursue a career in Graphic Design. In my spare-time, I enjoy music, play video-games (like any other person my age), love watching comedies and love to socialise!
Hi, My name is Adrian. I am currently studying marketing and communications and IT in RMIT university. I am working on building and develop a new social media app. I need to find a good and relaxing place to concentrate on my project. I am currently working Full-time as a bartender in Flinders St. Most of the day I will be either study or work. I have a busy schedules. I am very kind and fun person to live with. I accept the rule and people that I live with. Thank you so much
Hi there, I'm originally from Adelaide, moving to Melbourne for a change and to seek new work opportunities. I'm very flexible with my move date, earlier or later, I have about a six week window to work with. I've been working in a bar and kitchen for five years so my sleep schedule is ruined, but I do my best to keep the energy up. I love a coffee, I love a chat, and I love to make people laugh. I'm a perfectionist and big on diplomacy in the household so I'll be working hard to keep whatever drama as minimal as possible. I'm big into film and music, and the arts, so if that's your thing I'm always up for a talk about that. I also love cooking (once I get started), and I'm always tinkering with new recipes and such to make all sorts of delicious things.
Hi! I'm a fresh Singaporean chemical engineering postgrad from unimelb in search of a homely place to stay (ASAP) while applying for jobs. As employment opportunities may be better outside of Melbourne, I will not be able to confirm my stay past December 2018. My budget is $1200 per month maximum inclusive of all bills (utilities, internet, Netflix, Spotify, you name it). My interests include listening to classical music and working out as well as binging YouTube. Non-smoker here. I would also suit a flatmate who doesn't mind the smell of simple Asian cooking. Sometimes I can be quite talkative especially if I get along with you but after awhile my default setting is introvert. I also value non-fastidious levels of cleanliness and tidiness :)
Hey there! I am Rajesh from India moving Melbourne for studying masters and I am looking for private room. I am a cool and God fearing guy. love to cook my self and always ready to socialize. No smoking, no party, no Thanks and have a blessed day :)))
I’ve recently moved to Melbourne and looking for a more permanent home! I work full time at a hospital and when I'm not at work enjoy a wine, going to the gym and exploring Melbourne. I’m a quiet and considerate housemate but am looking for a home where we can have a chat and share a drink after work while still respecting each other’s space.
I live in New Zealand and will be moving over to Melbourne for a new job. Looking forward to immersing into what Melbourne has to offer - cafes, culture, hikes. I love movies (Star Wars of course) and keeping active.
I’m a musician and music teacher. I work from a studio in Newport and practice during the day so you won’t have to worry about noise. Family and friends are the most important thing in my life. I’m very easy going and love a good chat. I’m happy socialising or keeping to myself and giving you some space. I also really like comedy, sports and reading.
Hey there pals! I'm looking for a private room to move into before September 15. I love the Moonee Valley area and would preferably like to stay put around here or somewhere nearby. I just left studies in creative writing at La Trobe and am working as a marketing assistant and a waitress, also trying to develop my own business selling prints of my art. I spend a good deal of my spare time at home in my own space, painting and drawing. Because of that, I might be wrongly perceived as reclusive to some but I always love having a good chat and am always up for doing things as a house. My door is usually open. It'd be great to find a place with roomies who are likeminded and also enjoy that sense of company and actually being friends with who they live with. I also love yoga and am learning guitar. I'm a tattoo addict and Seinfeld is my go-to show. I appreciate a clean house and am very respectful. I always have money for rent and bills in time. I don't have pets but would love to be pals with yours if you have any! Excluding rats and mice and ferrets and shit. Not into that. I'm also pescetarian but don't mind at all what others cook/eat. Message me if this sounds like I'd be right for your place :)
A bit about me: - Research scientist (psychologist), used to study teenagers now working in a child research institute. - British and spent 7 years living in shared houses in London so I get communal living and how to tidy up after myself. - Been travelling the past 2 years around Russia and Asia but am now settling in Melbourne with my shiny new job. I’ve been here 2 months already so know where some stuff is but still have loads to explore. - I climb, cycle, cook, listen to music (punk, techno, lots of other stuff), read history books and chat about things far beyond the scope of my knowledge - this is usually best done with people who do know what they’re talking about so I can learn new stuff :) - I don’t smoke but I do drink: beer mainly, sometimes vodka, never tequila. - I’m not very good at punctuation, though I’m working on it. - Oh and I’m 27. And I speak Russian. My ideal flat: - Cycling distance from the children’s hospital; e.g. Brunswick, Northcote, Coburg, etc. - Decent sized room, pref. furnished. - Size-able kitchen, or at least something larger than a shoebox. - A garden for sitting about and storing bikes. - Sociable, clean flat mates that are down for post-work chats and maybe a pint or two every now n again.
My name's Bec, I'm a Nursing student at La Trobe University, and I'd describe myself as being super fun and outgoing, and love a good time. I'm looking to move out of on-campus accommodation at Bundoora, ew, and want to move to the inner suburbs. I'm also planning to move in somewhere with my 18 year-old sister, who's also fun, but a little more reserved, however we're both keen to find a roomy who's clean, super cool, also loves a good time and is respectful :)
I'm 26 and moved to Australia permanently a year go, and I've been living in a flatshare in Southbank. Now I'm hoping to get amongst things in the Melbourne suburbs. I work full-time at VicRoads as a Project Engineer in the CBD. I love music and play guitar myself. I love sport too but still trying to get my head around footy! I also enjoy spending time with good people having a drink and good food, and getting outdoors too. I'm Sri Lankan originally but grew up in Abu Dhabi. I lived in London and Hong Kong before Melbourne, so have been sharing flats for a while now.
Bright, fun and easy going personality, doing a research at the University of Melbourne as part of my masters degree Animal Sciences in the Netherlands, specialising in sustainable dairy farming. Keen to hang out with house mates and go do things, but I respect everyone’s privacy too. Love cooking a good meal and like to keep a tidy place tidy. I work out very regularly so a buddy to tag along with would be an awesome bonus!
