Hi there, my name is Farah and I am moving from Perth to study a Master's degree at Melbourne Uni! I am looking to move around January 26. I am clean, friendly, and am open to new friendships :) I will be mostly at uni or studying, and will also be working part time. Please contact me if interested!
Hi! I am a Monash student who just had a year off to go back home to Sweden and visit my family, but now I'm back again! I am doing my full bachelor at Monash University and have 1.5 years left. Therefore, I'm looking for a room to rent during this period (not shorter than 6 months at least). I would love to stay in a friendly house with a few mates to hang out with sometimes when there is time, but of course I respect and want alone time as well. I'm outgoing and excited to meet new people at the same time as I will be studying full time and working part time. I am very flexible with where I live, as long as it is not a million hours away from Monash. The areas I've put above are just some examples of areas I would be more than happy to live in. If this sounds like someone you want in your house, then send me a message! :D I am not in Melbourne until the 26th but after that I am happy to meet up and check out your place! Cheers! Frida
Hey, I'm a 26y/o full time profession. Looking for a whole property place instead of apartments. I'm tidy, love cooking (wouldnt mind sharing my dumplings :p) and always down for a banter. I have some plants that could brighten up the place too! Would love to end up being good mates with future housemates! I do need a car space or some sort of arrangements!
Hello! I'm moving to Melbourne next February to study English in Impact College. I'd like to be as close to the city center as possible. I'm an easy-going person, don't smoke or drink and I am very respectful of other's space. Some others preferences about the place would be: *Need a study desk or study room in a public area of the building. *No bunk bed. * Rent not over 200/week (INCLUDING BILLS). Please let me know if there's anything you'd like to ask or if you have a room within my budget :)
I'm an engineer by trade working in environment for a mining company. Mostly office based in Southbank, but get out to site once in a while. Enjoy watching/playing sports & fitness, most weeknights spent in the gym! Enjoy going out for a drink and socialising. Quirks include a passion for 80's metal and an interest in chess. Other than that, mostly grown up in Melbourne and love it...pretty sure I'm going to die here! Mainly looking for someone I would get along with to share a place - this is more important to me than location or the place itself :)
Hey potential housemates! I'm Isabelle. I'm 25 and am from the Central Coast, NSW. I'm a primary school teacher and have just accepted a position down in Melbourne starting in late January 2019. My boyfriend Ben (also 25) and I are making the move down to Melbourne in the New Year and are looking to move into a place anytime from New Years Day onwards. We are hoping to move into a respectful, fun and somewhat social, existing sharehouse in the one of the Northern Suburbs, preferably either Brunswick, Coburg, Moonee Ponds, Flemington, Essendon, Kensington, Fitzroy, Northcote or North Melb, as these are the shortest commute to work for both of us. Ben is a carpenter and stonemason who restores historic, hertitage churches and buildings in Sydney and across rural NSW. He's originally from the country, just outside the Blue Mountains, and is currently working as a Rope Access Technician spiderman-ing his way down Sydney's skyscrapers. Neither of us have lived in Melbourne before, and we are both very excited to experience all that the city has to offer! As we both work full time , we're fairly low key during the week. However on weekends we mostly go like to go and see live music and a sports game, catch up with friends and family, go out for meals, movies, indoor rockclimb and explore the city! Ideally, we would love to move into a place for at least 6 months, sharing with another couple or 2-4 single housemates. We've both lived in various sharehouses before and are both very tidy and respectful/clean in all communal spaces. We are definitely looking to move into a fairly social house where eventually there is more of a friends than just housemates kinda vibe! In saying that, we are both also very independent/doing our own thing and appreciate a bit of downtime too. I also promise we are def not the kinda couple that make you feel super third-wheely! We would love to both chat further and pop round to meet you and your housemates and visit the room/place anytime in January! Thanks! :) :) Ben and Izzy
Hello guys Im looking for a long term room to live. Im ok and do my own thing. Open for sharing. I also like cooking. Im vegetarian and don't mind having meat eaters at home. Hiya! I'm looking for the next palace where I shall ground my throne. Open to existing house shares or starting a new lease. Currently working part time for liquorland with the intention of becoming a professional music producer and songwriter. Living with me you can expect: - Music being made or played 90% of the time (respectfully of course) - Baked goods and heaps of shared food. I often dumpster dive which can supply the household with infinite bread, fruit and veg if you choose to partake in the ingestion of said items. - Banter and deep chats over a fine craft beer - Positive and fun vibes all day every day plus many more secret talents which you will learn as we weave our lives together.... Looking mostly inner suburbs not too far from the city and close to train lines but I drive a sick camry station wagon so pretty flexible with location for the right people :) Get hold of me on 0468 883 808 if you're like me and hate this early bird shit
Katherine and I are friends from Geelong who both work as nurses in the Melbourne area - we are outgoing and friendly people. We respect having alone time, space and love to watch netflix. I (Bridget) love to get outside, go to the gym and walk! Kath loves cooking and could probably quote from any movie you ask of! Move time flexible across January (would both prefer late Jan), boy/girl we don't mind. Pretty keen on a team up - preferably in Essendon, Ascott Vale, Monee Ponds area. Early Bird is rubbish, so if your interested shoot me a DM on Insta @ englandbridget
Laid-back, friendly artist-type from Perth. I'm an editor by trade, a music journalist on the side, and a cartoonist and musician for fun. I'm quiet and neat to live with, with no pets, non-smoker, non-drinker, bringing a car and a lot of books, looking for a somewhat eco house with a direct route to the CBD for work.
Hi there : ) My name is Saleh, I'm 28 years old, and I’m currently doing my PhD in biomedical sciences in Adelaide and will be transferring to University of Melbourne this month. I usually go to the laboratory as part of my PhD from 8 am to 6 pm which keeps me pretty busy. I’m a quiet guy, respectful of others, and always like to keep my place very clean and tidy. I usually go to the gym in the morning before work, and unwind at night by watching TV or by playing video games. I also like to be social, especially on weekends, but I also respect that everyone needs their private time. I'm looking for places with less than 30 mins commute to the University of Melbourne available now. Looking forward to meeting you! Saleh
Hello beautiful people of Melbourne! I'm Michelle, a 27-year old postgraduate student from the Philippines. I'm moving to your city in February 2019 to study at the University of Melbourne for 2 years. I'm a Copywriter by profession. Looking for long-term accommodation during my studies, preferably furnished and with stable Internet. I don't have a car so parking space is not required. I'm also okay with sharing common spaces, such as the bathroom, living room, and kitchen. I pay rent on time, and I'm really neat (okay, maybe borderline OCD is the word haha!). I have experience in co-living, as I lived with 3 lovely girls from Brasil, Tunisia and China before. I'm the type of person who really gets to know my flatmates on a social level, and not just in a "Oh-s/he's-just-someone-I-Iive-with" kind of way, but actually hang out, whilst still respecting your personal space. I enjoy art, pizza, music/music festivals/concerts, films, coffee, nature, online shopping, TV series, traveling, dogs, yoga, milk tea, the beach, and going out with family and friends. When I'm not into my hobbies, I usually just chill in my room, binge watch on Netflix (but we can watch together too!), or study/work. Don't worry, I'm normally a quiet roomie, but maybe you'll hear me sing in the shower ;-P Looking forward to finding my awesome space!
I’m a quiet guy who will be moving up to Brisbane from Ballarat to study a masters of clinical philosophy and working every other minute. I enjoy working out, reading and playing with my pup Ellie who is an English Staffie and house trained (we’re a package deal). I have full furnishings for a house so if we need anything I’ve got us covered. What I’m looking for is a like minded, positive group of people who have a bedroom available that doesn’t face onto a busy street and has a secure back yard for Ellie. If you have any questions, ask!
I am moving from Newcastle, NSW to work as a full time pharmacist/ business consultant 6 days per week. I am a non smoker, however, if someone smokes outside the house, I'm fine with that. I do enjoy quiet nights as well as going to the gym and playing table tennis on a professional level . I am friendly like to chat and/or hang out as well as respecting everyone's privacy and time. I am an easy going person and looking for like minded flatmates to enjoy the time we stay home. I am looking for neat, tidy and quiet shared accommodation in a nice neighbourhood, and close to CBD or on train line for an easy commute to work.
Hey! My name is Tuesdaii. I'm an Adelaide girl moving to Melbourne early next year to study Shoemaking at RMIT in Brunswick. I love yoga, coffee, plants, food & cooking, good conversation and real people. I am in search of a place to call home for the next year or so while I complete my course and work part time - I've lived in share houses for a few years now and would love to find a place that is both relaxed and considerate. I like to think I am a pretty chilled, open and down to earth person. I do my fair share around the house and am always enthusiastic about making houses feel more like home. I am known to come home with a bunch of new plants and to accidentally bake/make excess food to share! I am keen to find some likeminded people to share a home with. Please let me know if you have any questions! Ideally I would love to have a room to come to when I move over at the end of January and would be happy to make a trip to come and see the house and meet the people if it seems like it could be a fit :)
Hi, I'm Tori! I'm moving to Melbourne in February/March (date yet to be decided due to work) from little old Tasmania. I know it's early but I'm starting to put my feelers out there as I'm a bit of a planner. I work in retail and I'm getting a transfer to either Highpoint or the CBD. I'm a bit of a homebody with my head either in a book or on netflix but also love spending time with friends watching movies or sitting outside having the odd drink. I'm looking for a quirky place to call my home and like minded people to share it with. I'd love to be your friend instead of just you roommate. Cheers, Tori
Hi, I’m Jenny! 22 year old currently studying Design at RMIT, originally from Sydney. Currently living alone (can provide references from my agent) but I prefer the social atmosphere that a sharehouse provides. I would describe myself as friendly, considerate and definitely not a party animal. I am responsible when it comes to both paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself. Quite independent but looking for housemates that can become potential friends, who I can occasionally share meals/drinks/banter with, and watch movies/shows together. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, working on side projects, reading and exploring Melbourne. Hit me up if you think you/your place would be a good match! :)
Hey guys, I'm a kiwi moving over from Vancouver to start a Masters of Architecture at Melbourne Uni in early Feb. Looking for a household of fun & mature housemates to share a relaxing space plus the occasional meal with. I'm easygoing, sociable and pretty tidy - will probably be a softcore nerd during the week but love a good Netflix + wine combo or night out, looking forward to getting to know the music/art/film scene of the city. Pretty outdoorsy too and will be out of the house early most days if the snooze button doesn't get me. Would love to find a light, plant-filled home with some like-minded grad students or young professionals. Most importantly I love a good doggo pat, speak french and can make you crepes when you're hungover!
Hi This is Ye. I've been in Melbourne for almost 10 months. Now I am a student studying Master's degree in the University of Melbourne. I am open to meet many friends, exchange culture and idea but also respect flatmates' privacy. During study period I will be very busy. I like travelling, volleyball, music, yoga and cycling, etc. I can speak English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese fluently. Hope I can meet you one day! :) Cheers, Ye
Originally from the UK and have spent the last 3 years living and working in Austria. I've moved to Melbourne on a 4 year sponsored visa and will be working out of the Australian subsidary of our global company as a Project Manager. I'm pretty well-travelled and will be coming from shared accomodation (5 people), so I understand how important it is to be a clean and respectful housemate! An outgoing person and like to stay active whether it be in the gym, playing sports or out on a hike, etc. I'm also keen on my music and would love to meet people to head to some gigs with; officially a pubs-over-clubs kinda guy (these days!) and always keen to improve my cooking skills (obligatory glass of wine/cold beer during preparation!) Weeknights are admittedly quite low-key between work and keeping active, but it would be great to meet sociable housemates keen to enjoy the occasional meal together etc. If you've any questions, please feel free to ask!
Hey! My name is Sioned and I am currently studying my bachelors degree at RMIT City Campus and taking up a diploma in French next year. I work 30 hours a week at a resort and in the little down time I get, I am all about exercising, nutrition, good food and family and friends. I am a super hard worker, I'm organised, tidy and looking to move to Melbourne in March next year when I return from my holidays abroad (the 2 hour commute is starting to be a killer). Ideally, looking for a two room apartment to share with someone with similar interests in the Footscray or Kensington area. I know it's early days, but let me know if you're interested in teaming up and finding a place :)
Queer trans couple, two dogs (border collie + greyhound), one cat.
