Hi i'm Josh, 28 yrs old, clean professional looking for house share in the Melbourne metro area. I just moved over from Perth for work, I will be working in the city (sales) and am looking forward to the Melbourne lifestyle i've heard so much about. Rent and bills always on time and great rental references on request are no problem. Will be happy for a long term lease. I stay fit, healthy and enjoy being social and also respect privacy.
Hey I'm Sophie, I'm 24 and originally from Tassie but have lived in Melbourne for five years. I'm currently working full time on a temporary contract at Caulfield Hospital and looking for somewhere on the Southside to move until my contract ends in two months! I've recently finished my undergrad in Public Health and International Development and am working full time to save some money to go overseas at the end of May. I've got heaps of sharehouse experience and like to think I'm a clean, considerate and social housemate. I'm leading a pretty quiet life now that I'm working full time, but still like to catch up with friends for dinner or a drink or just for a lazy night in of wine and netflix. If you think I'd be a good fit let me know :) Sophie
I am pretty anti social so I will stick to my room a lot, but I am hoping to meet some cool people to live with and hang out with on weekends. If you are interested in the north side and having a friendly house vibe, let me know.
Hi there, I'm Ursula, german Physiotherapist & Spa Manager from Cologne and studying here Beauty Therapy for 1 year until december 2017. My Visa is valid until march 2018 and if I have the chance to stay longer, I would like to. I'm looking for a nice, quiet and clean home in a central part of Melbourne, prefered in the south because I work in South Yarra and also like to stay close to the beach! I'm open to meet people but not a party animal anymore and would be glad to find someone who likes it, most of the time quiet, too. I like reading, cycling, hiking, good food, a good glas of wine and I'm always open for a good talk. The place must be furnished and I would be happy to have a shelter for my bicycle. Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm an Australian male, originally from South Australia, living in Melbourne permanently for the past two years, with a professional engineering education, and very down to earth. I play video games (console and PC are both cool), boardgames, and tabletop roleplaying, so housemates that understand my interests is a definite plus, but it hasn't really stopped me before. I love to cook, drink, and eat a variety of foods. Historically, I do keep to myself most of the time, but I'm also very adventurous, want to try new things, open up more, and hopefully find housemates who actually are interested in being friends. I'm hoping for a place I can live in the long-term, but I'm also happy to take any accommodation for shorter periods.
We've been living in funky city pads for the last few years, but the time has come...my son is soccer & cricket crazy & needs a backyard. I would love to set up a gorgeous home with a like minded professional. Most of the homes that I like are generally 3/4 bedroom homes hence the need to team up and share. I always loved share houses and am really looking forward to being a house mate again, sharing conversation at the end of the day, a stir fry, a glass of red and a laugh. I love clean, tidy, respectful. (I would ideally like for us to have a cleaner). When my son is with me during the week, it's pretty much dinner & off to bed early for both of us. On the weekends that I have my son we're busy with cricket matches & play dates, we usually hang out & BBQ or go for pizza. When my son is with his Dad I'm out to the movies or dinner with a friend, if I'm not catching up on sleep or having a quiet one in. I work late on Wednesday, Thursday & every second Friday. (My 10 year old son is with me 50% of the time. Monday & Tuesday night & every second weekend.) Let's catch up for a cuppa and see where it takes us. To new friends, BBQ's & dinner parties.
Hi! We're two students from Sweden, William is an exchange student at University of Melbourne and I am studying an online course from a Swedish university and will work extra in hospitality in Melbourne. We're looking for a place to stay for at least 4-6 months, perhaps longer. We're very tidy and respectful of others space, but at the same time enjoy hanging out with new people, grabbing a few beers or going on a gig or something. We both like trying new food and are excited to see what Melbourne has to offer. Just send us a message and we'll talk more! Freja and William
Originally from Syd (don't hold that against me) and have been in Melbourne for the last few years Work full time in sports media and digital. Social like all the normal stuff stay active, like to cook good food just as much as going out. Looking for an easy house with a good vibe
hey I have been living in Melbourne for the 10 months with friends who have decided to move back to queensland so I'm looking to keep living in Melbourne and need a room :) I am tidy friendly sociable respectable and reliable. I work 4 nights a week. I believe I make a great roommate as I have never been late to pay rent or bills and always clean up after myself, I know when to socialise with fellow roommates or when to recluse to my room. I live well with other people as I respect and adapt to all different sorts of personalitys as I am a very easy going person! I don't mind a drink on the weekends, a good movie marathon or a good book to read. I hope I am who someone is looking for as a roommate :)
Hi All, My name is Daniel and my partner's Kelsey, I am 24 and she's 21. I am studying at Rmit for my Bachelors Degree in IT and she's doing her degree in Midwifery. We're looking for a place to call home. We're a happy-go-lucky, glass-half-full type people. Clean, neat and independent. We absolutely love food, films, travel and having fun. Hoping to live with similar-aged people who enjoy dinner, movies, chatting, travelling and all those good things. Although we are very sociable but we totally respect privacy and personal spaces. We also have our jobs, she is a nurse and I am an event supervisor working at events ranging from Grand prix and Airshow to small private functions, parties and weddings. So we will be pretty busy with that and studying however, we're always up for hanging out. Give me a message if you think you'd like to live with us or want to team up to get a lease! Very excited to meet some new people and experience all Melbourne has to offer! Thank You Kind Regards Daniel and Kelsey
I pay my bills on time, I like my privacy and I respect yours. If I find a shared space with people in it I proceed to survey the mood and offer the following: -appropriate jokes -inappropriate jokes -banter plus I am somewhat trained on the following conversational topics in no particular order of depth: -Aviation -Engineering -Renewable Energy -Physics -Psychology -Punk rock -IT security -General troubleshooting. I dont take sides in politics, and I dont particularly like arguing or talking about politics. if I am engaged in a political matter however, I automatically switch to dialectical thought mode: The further a view point strays from a moderate or compromising perspective, the easier it is for me to identify and hone in on absurd statements by exposing its equal and opposite argument, often blurted out with a level of contempt humorous to me, of some comedic value to others.. but largely not appreciated by idealists or extreme view holders. This mostly includes left wing revolutionaries and far right sausages. My name is John but my friends call me milford, after salad fingers. I suppose the best way to get to know someone is to see them. I spend a lot of time doing serious stuff I guess.. So I hope to live with people who can switch off after hours, have a sense of humor and like adventure. Thanks!
Hello :) I am a full-time student in my last year of university. I grew up in country Adelaide but have lived in Melbourne for the past 2 years and love the city. I'm an easy-going, tidy person who is respectful of other people's personal space and privacy. I'm a social person who loves brunch, coffee and a cheeky bev but I am also conscious of leading a healthy and fit lifestyle. I love photography, reading and Tarantino films. Currently on the hunt for a private room, preferably close to the city. Feel free to message me!
Hey! My name is Dom. I'm a house trained 26 year old electrician, vegetarian, occasional gardener and I have a border collie named Jed. Midweek I spend a fair amount of my time on my own (video games and reading) but always love coming home to a friendly face or two for a beer and a game of anything. Weekends are spent anywhere with a dance floor, I'm happy for some parties to happen at ours but not a necessary or frequent occurrence, no one wants to clean that much. Jed is 7 years old, super well behaved and will sell his soul for single throw of a tennis ball (soul already sold but he'll keep trying). I also come with a Moroccan Soup Bar cookbook, a ute and a decent fridge. Let me know if you'd like to meet me and the dog!
We are an international couple (brazilian and turkish) living in Australia and searching for a place to call home! We are very peaceful, love staying home, cooking, watching movies and playing board or online games. We tend to be quiet and laid-back, so sometimes you may even feel like nobody's home! Of course, we also love socialising and making friends, so we would love to go out and have fun some time.
I'm an architect from colombia and I'm finishing my English studies. At this moment I am applying for my permanent residency. I'm 33 yo. Normally my week is quite busy. I start early in the morning and go home pretty late. I love a quiet place to live. I spend my free time listening to music and watching some movies.
Currently working part time at Woolies/a nightclub, studying at RMIT city campus, looking for a laid back, relatively cheap room to rent. Open minded, not fussy about who my roomies are or quality, just need a place to rest my head and chill. Likes hula hooping, going to the gym, having a couple of drinks and meeting new people, trying new things. I also have a kitty but she's back at my parents in Tassie, hoping to move her up eventually but it's not a priority at the moment (unfortunately :( ). Get in touch with me if you like!
Hi! I'm moving interstate from NSW after living in the UK for the past two years, to continue uni at Deakin. I'm clean, tidy and looking for a social household that also respects privacy. Anyone around the same age, either working or studying full time. I like a night out, chilling with Netflix together and also like my alone time. I won't have a car so anywhere close to transport would be great!
Originally from Venezuela, I moved to Melbourne 5 years ago. Melbourne has become my new home. I am 36 years old, electrical engineer. I work in the CBD at the moment. I like to ride my bicycle to commute to work. I like outdoor activities, at the moment golf is my favourite one, but I am always open to try new ones. I am not a netflix addict, but I do like movies, and documentaries. I like to read literature, Roberto Bolano by far is my favourite author. I am a big fan of architecture, and I am trying to get into sustainable design, from the electrical point of view. I am an easy going person, respectful, transparent, tidy, who is looking a new home.
Hi I'm from Italy and a Chef. Me and a friend are searing together a shared flat. We are working both full time. We are open-mind, love to have a drink together or cook, but also our privasy.

I have a beautiful Bengal cat who is soft like silk! I am easy going, relatively quiet (until I get to know you) and I sleep a lot (due to working nights) so I shouldn't be much trouble and you'll get the place to yourself a few nights a week! I am studying nursing full time at Deakin University so if you need bringing back to life at any stage I could help you out... I am looking for someone to move in with in the CBD with me and my cat who is respectful of his indoor status (and maybe sneak him past the landlord for the first few weeks), east going, and relatively tidy. I do have a car so I am needing a carport but can help you get places if need be :) Hit me up!

My name is Lídia, I'm originally from Barcelona but I'm actually half Greek, half Spanish. I first came to Melbourne 4 years ago but I've been travelling around South East Asia & Europe half of them. I'm 29 and I'm currently working in the city 9-5. A little about myself: I like sports, travelling, photography, hiking, camping, eating and cooking, movies...and chilling with my flat mates. I'm a busy body but I also believe home is where the heart is, so I value living with people like me that are easy going but keep a clean and stress free house. Friends instead of just housemates if you know what I mean! Don't want to make it longer so if you're interested or want to know a bit more about myself, let me know! Cheers!
I'm a Civil Engineer currently living in North Melbourne. Lease about to expire. Looking to move in with some new people. I'm clean and keep to myself. Also happy to socialize and be a house mate. Preferable 6months. Enquire within :)

I've been told that I am a fun person to be around, but the most important thing is that I consider myself very respectful, clean and tidy. I love nature, animals, art, dance, music, books, movies and party ;) Feel very passionate about simple things and hope you get in contact if you feel my good vibe! I am a Marine Ecologist and I could teach you cool stuff about whales and the ocean since I have lots of experience with them :) See ya soon!! Cami.
Greetings our future flatmate/flatmates. We are two, Lucie (24) and my partner Costas (26). We are a friendly couple, Lucie studies business English in CBD and Costas international business in Melbourne Polytechnic. We have experience in living in a shared flat/house individually and as a couple aswell, therefore we are peacefull, we know how to respect the house rules, how to be clean and quiet when needed. Lucie loves drawing, yoga, nature. Costas loves baking, science and motorcycles. We are as similar as black and white colour but get along as good as pizza with beer. We are responsible as individuals and as a couple, we follow etiquette. We don't look for a party house. Both of us can cook and know how to manage fridge. We both clean after ourselves and know how to maintain clean, especially shared spaces like bathroom and kitchen. There is not much that we would consider a perfect flatmate, we highly appreciate: * Not a frat house but an adult environment * A mature personality * A clean nature * Friendly people (being friends and not just flatmates is just awesome) What we offer * We are clean * We are quiet * We are open people * We are non smokers * If you like what we cook you can join without any problem, * If you want to join a conversation, a game, a movie, anything as long as you are friendly you are welcome. * We come in peace, we negotiate and dialogue and compromise. * Any knowledge we have can be yours we would be happy to tell you all about any skill that we have. * Awesome stories from around the world * Amazing food :D

Hey! I am 27 and from the UK. I am sociable and looking for housemates I can share a cider/wine/tea/food/BBQ with once in a while. I'm also into cook and baking and happy to share :P I'll be pretty busy exploring the city and countryside/beaches in my spare time too if anyone wants to join me on an adventure! I like visiting galleries, markets and bars and hiking and doing yoga. I also like to chill on my own with a book sometimes and understand when people need privacy/space. I like getting a good night's sleep during the week. I'm considerate and respectful and love meeting people from all corners of the world with all different backgrounds and interests. I've been flatsharing for years and always do my fair share of cleaning, including floors and toilets, and all that shiz and it just seems to happen smoothly and organically :) Looking for like-minded flatmates. Pretty easy-going and flexible and happy to fit in with current flat dynamics. Can be flexible about move in date :) Give us a shout if you think I could be your new roomie!
Pretty chilled out Brit, looking for students/young professionals to live with during my semester studying at VU in Melbourne. A bit about me: I'm 21 and studying business/events management. I'm a sociable person, newly converted vegetarian (well… pescetarian. It’s a process, ok!), lover of walks, coriander and the occasional debate. I’ll be in Melbourne for 4-5 months so looking to squeeze every opportunity/ bit of fun out of my time. Looking forward to meeting some rite legends as housemates, who will hopefully become good friends (aw). I’m not needy (I swear!!). No but seriously, I do like my own space from time to time and expect to be somewhat busy with studying during the week so you don’t need to worry bout the ‘lonesome English girl’. Ideal living situation: Relaxed vibes, fairly tidy and respectful of each other’s space/property, not a mad party house, but equally not a silent lock-ourselves-in-our-bedrooms situation. A bonus would be great to find housemates who are up for having a laugh, going for drinks, cooking meals together, having deep discussions about life, luv & even politics (after a glass of vino or two). I'm now currently in Melbourne staying in a hostel, so available for rooms viewings pretty much whenever. Please get in contact if you think we would be a good match :)
I am a fashion designer and a photographer, who enjoys chilling with a book, music or just going out for coffee or beers. I like to spend my free time working on my photography projects and travelling around the city, visiting museums or exhibitions.
Looking for a few new housemates to create a new sharehouse! I've been looking in the Kensington area, but I'm open to other suggestions, provided they're about a 30 minute cycle to the CBD. A little sweat on the brow distance is cool. I study part time, work part time, and travel part time. I love art, literature, and anything creative; love music, and jam to it almost constantly. I also love watching movies and getting hooked on a good TV show, and enjoy sharing this with housemates. Because of who I am as a person, I may keep odd hours at times, but I'm very quiet at night, and once I'm asleep i'll sleep through anything, so if you're a morning person, there's no need to tiptoe. You *may* have to wake me if there's a fire, though... I like to zone out with exercise, and do a bit of pilates or yoga at home, or go for walks--enter new dog. Also love that I can cycle to work in the city in under 30 minutes. I like home to be my sanctuary, and enjoy being able to come home to housemates who are keen to chat or watch a movie together, but I also like my down time, and chill out in my room. I am friendly and easy going, and admire those traits in others. I love to spend time with housemates cooking, watching movies, and chatting, but I can respect other peoples space. I definitely like feeling like it's a home, a sanctuary, and like being friends with housemates, rather than ships passing in the night. I'm vegetarian, but not the kind to unleash diatribes about meat because you eat it. No pets at present, but I'm hoping to adopt a rescue dog, so ideally you're pet friendly. It'll be a small dog, but an inside/outside one.
Hi there, My name is Daniel from Malaysia and i'm here on a work holiday visa. Currently in Perth working as a barista for the past 5 months. Planning to head over to Melbourne to further improve my skills as a barista & working on my PR at the same time. Hobbies include playing futsal/soccer, cafe hopping, jamming in a band, surfing, diving, cycling. Hope to be able to get a room soon. Cheers
Hi I am Paola, currently working and studying. Looking for a nice and clean place that I can call home. I am very easy going, enjoy having a meal or a drink but also respect privacy.
I am an easy going, clean and tidy young professional working in the hospitality industry. I am from the UK and have recently come over to Melbourne on my one year working visa, my girlfriend is from Portugal and she is studying in Melbourne also. We both are foodies and love to cook so expect a few Portuguese dishes being served up on the occasion. We both love to socialise and enjoy meeting new people over a drink or two!
I'm originally from London, but have lived in Melbourne for nearly 3 years now. Work in medicine, but fortunately have a easy going monday to friday 9 -5, so no unsociable hours. I'm clean, tidy, non-smoking, considerate, good at cooking and depending who you ask but pretty damn funny (mostly to look at :) I'm just as easy to a have a chill evening with my housemate, having a chat over some wine and netflix, but also respect them their space and let them do what what's good for them. Just looking for some chill, easy going people who aged 21- 36 who are looking to move into a place mid april
Hi Guys, me and my boyfriend are looking for a place to call home for the next 4 months. We are currently renting a great place with friends but our lease is up soon and our friends are moving up north. So we are after something a bit cheaper and preferably a 1 bedroom flat or studio to ourselves. Our current lease is up on the 11th of march and we would like to stay till July 7th. We both work full time, i'm a graphic design and my boyfriend works in construction. We both work in the west so that would be preferred. We want a place to chill after work and put our feet up but close enough to the city so we can just go out when we feel like it.
I am a 24 years old guy from Germany. I am gonna study at RMIT for one semester so I am looking for a place to stay until the end of June so approximately for 4 months. I am very friendly and relaxed and love to hang out but cherish my privacy too. I like to do sports. Also I am very clean and tidy.

Hi there! My name is Sharla I'm 22 and currently working 6-7 days a week supporting children who have disabilities. I love my work but I will be heading back to uni to start a degree in paramedics. I'm pretty easy going, house trained and love to keep the place tidy. I'm not too much of a partier but love having friends to chill. Let me know if I'd be well suited for your lovely home 🙂 I need to move asap as I currently don't have a permanent home! Thanks :)
I'm currently a student at Deakin University studying in my final year of a Bachelor of Laws degree, so will be studying quite a bit. I'm tidy, easy to get to know and get along with, love meeting new people and have a lot of different interests. Im into running and fitness generally, and don't mind a night out occasionally for a whisky or two.
Hello! :) I've recently moved back to Melbourne and crashing at a mates place at the moment. I am looking for a big room with wooden floors, plenty of light, a washing machine and wifi! :) Not in the city but not too far so I can get to work easy. I'm easy with rent ! Happy to negotiate. I'm down to earth easy going girl but I do hate mess and bad smells so clean people would be my first preference. I am very respectful of others and privacy, I don't party and I don't have people over so I'd appreciate living with people who aren't loud and disrespectful of my privacy. I don't drink or do drugs or smoke, maybe if you're having a beer I'll have one with you but overall I like to look after my health and the smell of smoke is a pet hate of mine. I am looking to trial a couple of months, if I feel comfortable I'll stay a couple of years. I want to buy a small pet also not a huge responsibility or anything that would be in your way but a rabbit or kitten for myself would be extra amazing! :) hope to hear from you soon! I am free for inspections all week excluding the weekend when I work! :) Cheers!
Hiya Roomies to be! I'm a 19 year old girl from Denmark on a Working Holiday Visa. I've spend 1,5 month in Melbourne so far (6 months in Australia in total) and absolutely love the city, but I have not quite found the "Australian" family (you guys) I've been looking for. So why am I your new amazing roomie? - I work full time so I am going to be able both to pay rent and toilet paper, haha ;-) - I love having a good time that's why I became a bartender. - I'm respectful and expect the same in return. - I'm sarcastic and fun to be around. Looking forward to meet you guys! Cheers Bella
G'day. I'm an easy going teacher and writer, returning to Melbourne after two years in England. I teach Wed-Fri, write fantasy novels Mon-Tue & read/ day trip/ socialise on weekends. I'm looking for housemates who enjoy a balance of sociability and personal space, with an optional sweet tooth (I bake regularly). I prefer to do housework a. regularly and b. properly.
Hey, We are two friends moving over to Melbourne from New Zealand on the 19th of march and ideally are looking for two rooms in the same flat - either in a pre existing flat or join up with others who are looking. We are recent spatial design graduates in our early 20s and are planning on working full time in the city. We are both considerate, thoughtful and sociable, one vegetarian and one wannabe vegetarian who are into yum food, good music, a drink or two on a Saturday night and are pretty much into all things creative.
3 friends; sociable, friendly, reliable. Looking for a place to rent together. Happy to team up with others but ideally maximum 4 people in total.
Hi all! My name is Dawn and my roommates lease is ending on the 14th of march. Looking for preferably a vegan place with people my age but I am open to suggestions! I've very outgoing, very mature and very fun, I swear! Not looking for team ups (sorry) but a private room (if I could have my own bathroom that'd be dope). I will start working at a new cafe that is opening in the next few weeks, full-time-ish. I pay on time, I cook good food, and I give people their space, looking to move out ASAP! Help a girl out. And if you have a cat or dog even betaaaaaa.
