Hi I'm Becca. 32, working part time and studying part time. I am tidy, creative, open-minded, respectful, financially stable, and a lover of art, food, music. I'm an independent kind of gal and do my own thing much of the time, but always up for a meal, a chat, a laugh with flatmates.
Moving to Melbourne from sunny Cairns to start my course at Ministry of Dance, Flemington. Currently 17 and have just graduated high school as the College Captain so am a reliable person. Currently 17 and Very friendly and bubbly, but respect the need for personal time and space.
Hey I'm Harry, 24 from London and looking for new place to live until March/April next year. Working in construction atm and I'm pretty chill with everything, I like going with the flow whether it be having a quiet night in or going aaaat aaaat and avin it large. "I too am a neat guy" and like living in a clean bright house. I also like cooking meals and eating clean as a beansprout. Would like to go vegan again and get more active especially if the housemates are. I like to skate and normally freestyle when I drink basicallllly just like having a laugh really (as you can tell from my NFG profile pic) :D
After being granted my PR visa, I migrated in Australia about 3 months ago. I first stayed with my relatives and job-hunted in Sydney for two months before coming into Melbourne to find work. I am currently staying with a couple friend (husband and wife) in Maribyrnong who had been in the country for almost 3 years now and had been very supportive and accommodating to me. But since I already found a full-time work in Laverton, I have decided to find a place of my own now. I think my cleanliness and willingness to help in the house/flat are two of my greatest characteristics. I also respect the privacy of my housemates and is considerate. I have fallen in love with Maribyrnong due to its accessibility to restaurants, grocery shops, markets, a reliable public transport, Highpoint and its proximity to the city. These things are very important to me that is why I am looking for a place that is Maribyrnong or just near the vicinity. I am looking for a room furnished with the basic necessities (bed and closet). I can just buy the other things as needed. I am into traveling and photography. I also maintain a travel and food blog during my free time in which I document the restaurants I have dined in and countries that I have gone to. I enjoy taking aimless walks in a new place or city just for the sake of discovery. I am a book-lover who just recently discovered the joy of reading from the Kindle app. I love Japanese and Vietnamese food and would constantly find myself craving for a bowl of pho or a bowl of spicy tuna sashimi. God how I miss Spicy Tuna Sashimi! Feel free to contact me if you want to know more and just want to say hello! Can't wait to hear from you soon!! Best regards, Lav
Just moved here from the UK but lived in Melbourne for a while a few years back. My job (news editor for a tech/finance website) means I can travel a lot - was in Chicago for a while a couple of years ago - and so I'm staying here over the summer. Looking for somewhere for a few months with sound, relaxed people who wouldn't mind a beer in front of the TV every now and there. As for me, I try to be the goldilocks housemate - neat but not obsessive, friendly but not pushy, sociable but I'm not about to drag strangers back at 2am for a party. No fuss, no muss. Interests include books, films, music (I worked at a record shop last time I was here) and coffee, if that counts. Respectful of people regardless of colour, gender or sexuality.
Hey, We're Bella and Liam, a really friendly couple who are respectful, friendly and easy to get along with. We're desperately looking to move in ASAP, as we need somewhere to commute from to go to work. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks so much, Bella
We are a friendly genuine Christian (married) couple who are loving, kind and understanding. We are easy going and relaxed. Wife loves cooking and we both love to share. However we have Christian standards and won't tolerate certain activity in the house. We love and accept everyone though, but will only live with those willing to live the same way as us. We love Jesus and go to a local church, and are looking for other God fearing friends. If you enjoy the sound of worship music and talking about God, send us a message :) Also with locations we aren't quite familiar with Melbourne as we only moved down here from Queensland mid November, so anywhere less than 50 or so mins from the city by tram is fine.
I am a yuppie, live and work within Melbourne CBD. I think the qualities that make me great to live with anyone are so many that they cannot even fit in this space... really? I think my past and current flat mates can tell you for sure that I am considerate, respectful and easygoing. You would find me caring and willing to help whenever it is required. I know the house rules well since I have been living in shared houses for almost 4 years. Currently, I am based on the corner of Flinder/Spencer Street and looking for a good location within CBD, preferably for 6 month. I already own all the necessities including white goods, appliances, crockery, furniture etc. so would prefer an unfurnished place that I could share with someone. Feel free to whisper or shout if you want to know more or just want to say HELLO :) Enough about me.... it is your turn now! Ball is in your court... hope to talk with my future flatmate soon. Cheers, Yasir
Hey there! I'm Greg, I'm moving to Melbourne from New Zealand on the 20th of December and pretty interested to find a little sublet to hold me over for about a month! In regards to me - I'm 25, Italian by origin, an audio engineer and working in music production and film marketing at the moment. Very keen to find somewhere to ground myself when I first arrive - hit me up!
I'm your standard "I can totally hang out with you in the flat and watch movies with wine together or I can totally give you your space because I'm super in touch with the needs of others" type of flatmate. I love cooking, baking, wine, biking, watching videos of dogs, tequila, board games, uber eats, and my air popper. I'm a good roommate and I'm good for my rent money, so yay live with me!
Hey everyone! I'm studying law at Monash in Clayton, and also work part-time. I've got 4 years of rental experience, and have never missed a payment, and have never had any dramas at each of the places I've lived. I'm sometimes pretty busy, but I'm always friendly, clean and chill, and am looking for a decently social or friendly place. Major hobbies are language learning (Italian, Japanese and Malayalam) and travelling (I try and do a day trip whenever I can). Would prefer something between my uni in Clayton and the city, or maybe in the city.
Hi! I'm Bas, 26 and living that full time working dream in consulting. From all accounts I'm nice and friendly, like to stay active, enjoy cooking and while I may not make my bed everyday I nonetheless consider myself a clean person! Like everyone, I'm a big fan of a drink or two with friends, though am equally comfortable in my own company. Apart from a misguided blonde afro in my teens, I've very few skeletons in the closet and am looking for some like minded housemates to move in with for 2017.
Employed, quite and clean. I like the odd weekday wine. I often cook more than I can eat and am a great person to vent to after a shitty day. I also have all the home ware things. Including a washer, drier& fridge.
Hi guys, we are a German couple driving into Melbourne one of these days. This year, we have set out for the great adventure of traveling the world. So far we have been exploring and enjoying Israel, South East Asia, including Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia, and now Australia. Upon arrival in Perth we bought our Mitsubishi Van and have since traveled through the Nullarbor, across the Great Ocean Road and hopefully soon into Melbourne. Before traveling we have been living in Berlin, Germany, and have come to get used to the many perks of living in a multicultural, young, creative and ever moving city. Some of the things we enjoy are live music, great food, festivals, sports, going dancing and meeting new people. We are social people, yet we respect other peoples' privacy. We are outgoing, but also enjoy a quiet night on the couch. We work hard, and therefore find that we are entitled to a little bit of fun after. We like the place clean, but don't fuss about a pan not cleaned. We believe that you should treat each others the way you want to be treated yourself. Therefore, if you feel like we would be a good addition to your shared house, you can expect us to treat you and your house with respect and consideration. We have both worked in hospitality and are going to look for that kind of work in Melbourne, too. We still have some savings, so we chose to look for an apartment first and then find something close by to be able to enjoy the many things to do in a city as big and vibrant as Melbourne. If you have any questions or concerns, please just give us a call and we'll be happy to answer them all! Cheers, Verena and Zeno :)
Hi guys! Manami is from Japan and I am originally from France. We used to live in Tokyo and work there as a financial accountant (her) and a public high school teacher (me) but we decided to take a break away from Japan and to move to Melbourne to live and work there for about a year. We are very clean, tidy, always eager to help if you need anything and we are a very friendly and sociable couple. We have no problem living in our own space and doing our own things but we are always more than happy to spend some time chatting, sharing beers or a bottle of wine or going out for dinner. We love to cook (especially French and Japanese food), watch TV shows (if you're looking for people to watch the next season of Game of Thrones with, you just found them!), go out to try new restaurants, bike around the city or just relax. If possible, we would like to leave in a central area of Melbourne so we can ride our bicycles anywhere from there. Our ideal budget would be 300 AUD but if your place is really nice and well located, we are ready to go up to 370 AUD (bills/internet included). We would like to move in this month but we are flexible with dates. If you would like us to be your new roommates or if you have any question, please feel free to contact us. Cheers! Manami and Vince

In terms of a housemate, I am exceptionally tidy and clean. **Just wanted to point out before anyone msgs me I'm not looking to share a room with someone** I'm originally from Byron Bay but have called Melbourne my home for almost 3 years now. I'm searching for a tidy and quiet-ish share house with people in their early-mid 20's, flexible with the move in date slightly - could wait until early/mid Jan - really just looking for the right place. I am working part time at ANZ head office, as well as studying International relations at Deakin, Burwood, which keeps me pretty busy. Aside from all the usual stuff, like can pay rent and bills on time, housetrained, clean and respectful... I like to get to the beach the rare times the weather is just right, adventure to unknown places, attempt to care for my few plants, yoga, embarrassingly spend way too much time wondering the homeware isles of kmart and love a BYO dinner with friends. Also I'm the girl on the left. Thanks x

I work M-F in the banking industry but always find time to squeeze in exercise (gym and Pilates), cook delicious healthy meals and a bit of down time on the couch to catch up on the social media. I enjoy going out and given I'll be in a new city, I'm very keen to meet new people. Must admit I do enjoy the finer things in life these days but always up for letting the hair down. Currently I play club tennis on a Saturday and would be keen to continue this in my new city. I'm looking for a house that feels like a home, is clean and tidy, and is filled with good vibes! Open to a housemate dinner and wine night every now and then too! Most people would say I'm easy going and fun to live with! Send me a message and we can FaceTime!
I am a PhD student who would love to have a clean, organised and quite place to study. Don't watch much TV but don't mind having movie nights, also enjoy a glass of wine and a nice dinner once in a while. I like socializing but at the same time, need my privacy and time alone. I've lived at college for two years so I really don't mind if you want to have a party every now and then. I'm always up for a few bevs and some good food. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to have me as a housemate :)
We are two funky friends looking to team up with some new pals to form a share house, hopefully in January ! Georgie has been living on campus at Monash for the past three years studying Physiotherapy (gives good massages), and Austin is making the move up to the big smoke from Tassie in 2017 and hopefully going to start studying at uni here too. Georgie also works a few different jobs, and Austin be finding part time employment too. Georgie and Austin are a couple so would be sharing a room ($$$ off rent!!). We are all really fun and easy going people, love to have a boogie but (especially Georgie) love to buckle down and get some work done. We are all super clean and have good rental histories and references. We love going on nights out, hanging out at home with some bevs, watching tv and doing all the usual stuff you'd expect. We hope to find some like-minded folks to hang out with, cook family dinners and have an excellent year together!!
My name is Luke, and I'm a Canadian that fits that laid back, polite stereotype. Step on my shoe and I'll apologise. I'm a coffee guy. I work at a cafe and love to make and share coffee. I'll shoot the breeze now and again and do some communal cooking over a glass of wine. I like books, coffee, films, hikes, and, if you have them, video games. Living with me: I respect privacy, personal boundaries, and time to oneself. Yeah, we can have a good chat and catch up; I can read the air and know when to talk (or not). I like a clean kitchen and I always make sure the dishes are clean for whoever wants to use them next. My visa is up mid-February, so I'm in for a good time, not a long time. Hope to hear from you!
I am easy going, sociable but independent teacher originally from NZ. Have been flatting for 10 years now, so rest assured I know the drill, i.e. I'm clean, friendly and can pay bills on time. I love to travel, explore Melbourne, meet new people, watch sport, (sometimes play) and read a good book on the beach while drinking a fabulous New Zealand wine.
I'm a 19 year old student from a country town just outside of Canberra. I'm moving to Melbourne early next year to study and work part time which means I will be kept fairly busy. I'm looking for someone of similar age to share a trendy, high rise apartment in the CBD (I've been doing some research and have found some nice places already - however open to suggestion). I love to cook, workout, binge watch Criminal Minds and just chill with friends.
Hey, My name is Jarrod and I'm 25. I'm originally a country boy, but have lived in Geelong for the past 8 years. I've just scored a part time job working at the Oz Open Tennis and am looking for a full time job up in Melbourne as well as finishing off my degree this year. I'm a fun loving type of person, love me some good banter, yet I'm pretty chill most of the time at home. I'm clean and respectful as I've lived in share houses since I was 20 and I pull my weight in the cleaning department and always have my rent and bills paid on time. I'm an active type of person, a regular at the gym and hoping to join a sport when I get up to Melbourne. I do love to socialise with my houseys, and I'm always up for a good brunch/cafe/bar/wine, so pretty keen to check out the local spots in Melbourne! I'm looking to move up in the middle of January as my lease is ending around that time - hope to meet my new housemates soon! :)
I am a 23 year old Biomedical Science graduate relocating from Noosa to Melbourne to start a Masters degree in Epidemiology at the University of Melbourne. I am a reliable, quiet, tidy and respectful individual who enjoys an active social lifestyle, with a balance of quiet nights in. I love to cook and indulge in all things food and wine related. Ideally I'm looking for longer term accommodation so I'd be happy to sign onto a 6 or 12 month lease. I am open to either furnished, or unfurnished accommodation as I have some pieces that can be transferred down from Queensland/I am able to provide or chip in for new furnishings. I can relocate down to Melbourne as soon as a place is available.
Hi there! I'm Alex and I'm a 21 year old full time retail worker. I love going out and experiencing new things but I also love my time to chill out and relax. I'm looking for a flat relatively close to the city, as I currently spend an hour getting to work each way, it's starting to wear thin. I'd love to live with a person (or persons) who like to hang out every now and again, but also are okay to want some time on their own. Thanks!

I'm a 22 year old recent graduate of medical science and forensic biotechnology. Early 2017 I will be moving to Melbourne and conducting my honours at CSIRO Parkville and I require accommodation in the area. I am a quiet and tidy individual who enjoys a social, busy and eventful lifestyle. I am highly active with a passion for bodybuilding (physique). I enjoy spending time in the kitchen and baking, so expect fresh batches of cookies whenever i'm procrastinating... which is often.
