I'm Ben, a recent law graduate (however unsure if I want to pursue a career in law), and looking to move to Melbourne after spending a year overseas. I am an active person and intend to be working full time so will not be home a lot. Angie is my German girlfriend, she works by distance for her IT company back in Germany. Angie will be staying until January 2018, then I will be occupying a room by myself. As a couple, we are respectful of others living in the house yet also enjoy socializing.
I've been living in my own 3 bedroom home for the last 4 & a half years with my 3 yr old Border Collie X Golden Retriever and 8 yr old Murray River Turtle in the outer Northern Suburbs. I work 2 jobs 6 days a week. Sunday's are my day to do whatever I like; anything from chillin at home with my dog, house work, catching up with friends, a day out with my 2 nieces, family outings, going to the footy during footy season and Cricket over the Summer. Ive made the decision to lease my house out so I can move closer into the city. My parents have offered to look after my dog and turtle for 12mths which will make it easier to find somewhere to live. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
A little about me... I work 4 days traveling around Melbourne as a Work for the Dole Advisor and spend my free time starting a small business. I workout a few evenings a week, cook occasionally but mostly eat out or order in. My partying days are long gone but I do enjoy an after work drink at one of the local bars - bourbon and coke or an amaretto sour is the drink of choice (yum!). I believe everything has a place in the home and my ideal housemate will need to be considerate of this. I keep the house clean and tidy and would expect the same from my housemate. I have plenty of furniture and love decorating the home. I'm happy to share a meal and a conversation. Guests are more than welcome but if noise can be kept to a minimum at nights and a courtesy heads up of any plans to have big groups over. I have a cat named D'artagnan, he's a british shorthair and keeps to himself most of the time. I was recently approved for a brand new townhouse however my brother unfortunately had to back out last minute - located in Footscray near Whitten Oval. Get in touch asap if interested as i will have to notify the agent soon if Im unable to commit. Only looking to move to the above mentioned suburbs. If you think we could live together get in touch. Theresa & D'artagnan

Hello! A little bit about me: I Finished my university studies in 2011 and since then have been working full time in the CBD. I can be quite quiet but am also personable and friendly. I am outside a lot (normally I work between 5-6 days a week) and consider myself a very responsible person. I like my own space but also like to make a house a home. I guess what i'm trying to say is I think I make for a pretty good house mate and tenant! If you think that I might be a decent match for you, please drop me a line. Dexter :)
I would consider myself an easy going housemate who is considerate and generous when it comes to sharing responsibility. I'm quiet but love a chat and equally enjoy a shared meal or doing my own thing. I'm also a wannabe gardener and would love to establish a small herb garden. I generally like a clean kitchen and bathroom and a tidy house. I'm 37 years old and work for a theatre company, Monday to Thursday in the office and work from home on Fridays. Outside of work I enjoy eating delish food, reading, music, yoga, cycling, theatre, travelling and catching up with friends. I'm interested in sharing a home with 1-2 others who are likely 30's+, preferably no couples, children and pets ok.
Hi! My names Beth, i'm 21 and have just moved to Melbourne from the UK for a full-time work placement at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health. i'm easy going and enjoy going out for drinks and socialising but also enjoying chilling at home cooking with a beer or watching films!
I'm an architect working full time in the CBD; 9 to 5 kind of person. Easy-going, neat/tidy but doesnt have OCD; occasionally cooks if time permits as I'm mostly busy due to the nature of my job; likes to hangout and go out for dinner; loves to chat if anyone keen on chatting but happy to just potter on my own; can be a couch-potato over the weekend.
Hello, We are Erika and Matteo, a couple of Milanesi - Italians from Milan - moved to Melbourne just a few days ago. We’re here on a WHV and we intend to stay in this amazing city for as much as possible. We’re tidy, open-minded people who respect house rules and personal spaces. We would like to find someone to talk to (also to improve our English). We love Netflix, movies, pets, and cooking (mostly baking sweets). We hope to move in very quickly and leave the hostel ASAP :( We look forward to hearing back from you!!
Hi everyone my name is Michael and I am 29 years of age, I work full time as a Warehouse Storeman in Tullamarine and also do uber driving as a side job, could be handy for you if you like to hit the town on a Friday or Saturday night :) My hobbies are going to the gym, poker, pool, playing footy (mad AFL fan) and traveling when i get the time. I am a friendly person who is easy to get along with and often can be funny. I don't mind if you have a pet as long as they are outside more then inside. The reason why I would be a good housemate is because I am clean and tidy, respectful to other people, always up for a good laugh and love to go out and have a drink every now and then at the casino. I think I would be beneficial to you being an uber driver, also I sell cookware at my work so I have a great set of frying pans with me for cooking :) you won't be disappointed! so please hit me up for an inspection if you think i fit the criteria :)
My name is Leigh, male. I've been sharehousing since my early twenties so I'm well and truly house broken. I like to think I'm pretty easy to live with, I do my share of housework, clean up after myself and cause no drama. I just landed my dream job at the Peter Maccallum Cancer Centre as a study coordinator so I'm looking to live nearby. I keep it pretty low key during the week when I go to the gym but on the weekend love going for a beer, catching some live music, scuba diving and wakeboarding. Ideally I'm looking to live in a lively area with people who are like minded.
I am Eduardo, 26yo, part time employed, barista Jr, I.T. student, cooker love, passionate for Melbourne's parks and Laneways. I'm easy going guy, who loves cooking for mates, always up for beer, wine, cachaça (have you tried it?) and to share good times talking and laughing. I'm sociable, friendly and happy to spend time with my mates but I know how to respect their space and I have an independent life as well. During my free time, I am always walking around Melbourne knowing this lovely city. I like traveling (I'm planning to travel for South Asia, up to that? it would be amazing to find a traveling partner). I'm not a party animal but I'm not out to occasionally small party or hang out to a night club. Although I do not make my bed, I keep the house tidy and clean, principally kitchen and bathroom, I am responsible with house tasks, also I use to take shower every day (same in freezing days), brush teeth, wash my cloths, keep the toilet seat down... I am looking for a place which I can call home for long time. I would like to move in the last week of September, but I can be flexible about that. If I sound good to you and your flats please, text me and we will set up time to meet each other.
Hello, we are Katie and Joe a young couple from Manchester, England. For the past 4 months we have been travelling around South East Asia and now we are looking for a more permanent residence for a few months here in Melbourne. We have both attended university and therefore are both aware of the responsibilities, rules and regulations which comes with living with other house mates. Some of our main attributes are that we are communicate well, are respectful of others, considerate, adaptable and most of all have a high level of cleanliness. We both enjoy socialising whether it being a night in or a night out. We are both non smokers with good conversation, a passion for sport and regular gym goers.
Hi, I'm a 29 year old construction supervisor moving down from QLD for a project. Initially it's 2-3 months (likely longer) so I'm looking for a place to stay short term. I'll be doing 10+ hour days so I won't be around a whole lot and will need to be close to the city/train station. I'm looking for some relaxed people to live with while I'm there. I'm easygoing, enjoy a beer and a chat. Cheers, Anthony
I am clean, outgoing and love to chill out at home after work. I really understand the importance of having a nice atmosphere to come home to after a hard day's work! I am easy going and sociable and would love to find similar people to live with. I am Irish and have just moved to Australia for my first job as a vet just West of Melbourne. I have a car and work 4/5 days a week including every 2nd Saturday. I have lived in student accommodation in Dublin, Ireland for the last 5 years and loved every minute of it. Looking to rent a place with some easy going ppl to make friends with!
Hello, here's a little about me: I've lived in Melbourne most of life but am originally from Perth. Lived in student share-houses for a few years and looking for a more homely vibe now! I currently manage a bar in the Southbank Arts Precinct and I also play bass in a couple of bands. My educational background is in Music, Philosophy and Psychology. I'm applying for my Masters in Music Therapy at the moment so somewhere I can feel comfortable studying would be ideal :) In my spare time I like to read, meditate, write, walk, catch up with friends, play, write and listen to music, garden and learn about anything and everything I don't yet know. I'm very structured in my routine, I'm vegan mostly for health reasons but completely non-judgemental about other's diets, I get up early and I rarely party! Looking for a place with clean, like-minded people who I can learn and grow with and who enjoy co-existing and creating a shared space! On weekends I like to try and get out of the city and explore :) I have a little black cat named Pepper who has lived in a few different places with me over her 3 years and always settles in to new environments very quickly. She's a sweetheart and has shared spaces with other cats and dogs without issue. Ideally I'm looking for a place with some private space for me to work in, as spend a lot of time tinkering and studying and getting lost in thought. A granny flat I could harness, a small spare room or a large bedroom I can section off would be perfect! If you work 9 - 5 that's a bonus as I spend my days working at home. Looking to live with one or two other people max, and if you're interested in applying for a lease together I'm up for that too! Also been looking at 1 bedroom apartments but it's difficult to find a a place that's ok with a cat :(
My name is Carl, I am male, 29 years old. I grew up in the small coastal town of Phillip Island, Victoria. I come from a family of 6. I have spent some time in Western Australia, Queensland and recently lived in Melbourne for 3 years. I am a carpenter, working setting up sporting events eg Australian Open Tennis, Formula 1 race cars etc. It is coming into our busy time so i would be working lots. Im an easy going and considerate person. I like my own space at times but also like to socialise. I love sports and like to keep things active. Always listening to music. Love food however am not the greatest (or worst) cook. Sleep is my happy place. Surfing would be my passion (weekend trips in summer are a must). I have worked in remote communities doing FIFO so I have, without choice, lived with many different people from many different walks of life and always seem to get along. Have also travelled a bit in the past 3 years (I just returned home from Europe last week) and always enjoy seeing new places and learning of different cultures. I hate writing about myself but i like to think of myself as someone who cares alot for there family and friends, who is well mannered with good morals. Would be looking to move in from the start of October. Thanks Carl :)
Looking to move to Melbourne in the next 6 months from Sydney. Hospitality worker studying vet nursing. I'm a very easy going girl that likes to socialise but also like having time alone. Very respectful and clean. Can cook.
I'm a 29 year old professional working full time with Telstra as a Business Intelligence Consultant. I am a very considerate housemate and happy to socialise but also understand the value of personal space. I'm clean, tidy and easy going and looking for chilled out housemates to share good vibes with. I love going out to eat and try new places and explore the city. I live a healthy lifestyle and also enjoy a few drinks on the occasion but would not bring the party home. I like to be social but mostly enjoy quiet nights in specially on work days. Music is a very important part of my life and I also love travel.
I'm an American dude who loves nature, staying active, and diverse communities. Most recently was living in Hong Kong and just transferred to Melbourne for work. PLUR✌️ Just opened this account - may come back and add a bit more color to this 😋
I'm a friendly, considerate 25yo soon-to-be lawyer, born and bred in Melbourne. Tennis is my sport, beer is my drink, the gym is my escape, dark chocolate is my food and the world is my oyster. I'm the housemate you'll remember for all the right reasons!
