I'm looking to do a bachelors degree at Melbourne University in Commerce. I'm a generally quiet individual, however I do like socialising with others. Having just finished high school I'm only 17 turning 18 in April. I'm also currently living in Western Australia. I would be looking to move early February, somewhere between the 1st and 10th. I'm willing to partake in a skype interview, if you would like to get to know me better. I am able to clean after myself. In addition to that I am able to cook, although nothing too complex. I respect privacy and try to maintain polite relations with others. Although amongst friends I can be somewhat looser and more relaxed. I do not drink or smoke and do not plan to. I also have no issue sharing accomodation with those who drink. I plan to study full time and work part time. I am not someone who's hugely interested in parties so it will not be something I'd want to organise. I am looking to make friends with the people I stay with, and of course would respect that they may not want other people around the home often. I am a somewhat shy and reserved person initially, but after warming up to people I generally greatly enjoy their company. Other general things about me would be that, I like to read quite a lot. Mostly fiction. I would describe myself as quite nerdy with nerdy interests. I don't watch a lot of tv or movies. I do however like boardgames quite a lot. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hi! I'm Tim. I'm a 22 year old student looking for a place to rent for the last year of my Masters degree. I'm a friendly, chatty guy who endeavours to get along with everyone. I love conversation and being around people. I'm neat and tidy and get chores done sooner rather than later. I try to treat Uni like a job, that way my mornings and evenings are free. I enjoy reading, playing the occasional video game, having the frequent netflix binge, and fitting in exercise when I can. Assignments and exams get pretty full on, so I'm looking to move in with some other students who'll be cool with me disappearing into the books for a few weeks throughout the year. I'm originally from the country, so I tend to spend a few weekends up north in the Summer time fishing, boating and visiting family, but I'm all yours for the rest of the year. My move in date is flexible. I can move in as late as the end of Feb. Looking forward to meeting you!
I am a 27 years old French-Polish that arrived a year and a half ago in Australia, and 2 months ago in Melbourne. I am a very sociable person although very independent at the same time, and nearly 10 years of travelling and living abroad have taught me to live with others. Open-minded and chilled with a good sense of humour, I like to avoid conflicts and problems at all costs. I'm also cheerful, kind-hearted and trying my best to make the most of life. I can speak French, English, German and Polish fluently, and currently learning Spanish. I like to have a clean and cosy home, and enjoy to share nice moments with nice people, as well as relaxing on my own. I work in the digital industry and give French tutoring lessons as extra. I have a broad range of interests and always keen to learn new things and discover new places. I love to listen to and play music (Violin, guitar and just starting piano), sport, meditation, outdoor adventures, camping, cooking, and everything related to art and creation like drawing, writing, reading, dancing, photography... I'd love to find a home in Melbourne where I could bring some good energy and get to know awesome people! :) [EDIT: I am looking for a FURNISHED PRIVATE ROOM, please don't contact me if it's unfurnished or shared room, thanks! :)]
Hi there, I am currently looking for a room in a houseshare in the inner north / north-west area. At the moment I live in Kensington in my own apartment. But! I do have about 8 years of prior houseshare XP. I like to cook, I come with an (optional) cat who currently has a home, I also come with an unlimited iiNet ADSL plan (again optional). I also like to binge watch TV and order the occasional UberEats. I work full-time in the city (at RMIT) and I'm 33. As a housemate, I like to keep spaces clean and generally tidy. I am friendly and laid-back and I do like "down time" particularly during the week. I'm organised and non-flakey and I can hold a good conversation. Some of my interests: reading, movies, podcasts, Internet culture, TV and philosophy. Kind regards, Jack
Professionally I'm an electrical engineer (but one of the ones who talks to people, I swear!) going to be working at Telstra next year - if you've had a terrible experience with them I am so sorry, please don't hold it against me! Personally I am pretty easy going, am Australian but have lived in the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, France and Sweden, like music, travel, vegetarian food (I don't care what you eat, though. I mean if it's really weird I might judge, but I promise I'll do it silently), podcasts, trying to keep up my French, running and entertain myself by following the trainwreck that is American politics right now. I've previously house-shared with one other person and 9 other people before so have a decent range of experience, am now looking for either a room in a household where vacuuming happens at least sometimes and people clean their dishes before leaving the kitchen, or to team up with someone and rent a place nearish the CBD.
Hi there! Im originally from Newcastle NSW living in Melbourne working as a Pastry chef. Looking for a new housemate to live with for another year before I head overseas for work and travelling! Currently seeking a room to stay for a minimum of 9 months. I'm looking for a place to rent that has all the bills included including wi-fi. May be willing to have bills not included if the rent is cheap enough. I like to keep things clean and tidy and am genuinely a chill and outgoing person. I am very respectful of people's privacy, and I also work full-time. I'm looking for a household that I can chill with/ share laughs/ go out for drinks with. Thanks! Clodia X
Hi! My name is Francois I'm 28 years old Belgian. I've been travelling around Australia since September and I'm now looking for a place to stay for the next 5 months. In used to be a digital project manager in Belgium. I will look for a 9 to 5 job in a web agency here in Melbourne. I love music and sport. I like all kind of style but I prefer folk, rock and deep house. I'm a fan of tennis and soccer. As a good belgian citizen I like to grab a beer with friends and go out for a dinner. I'm a respectful person and will keep share spaces always clean.
Hello, my name is Ella. I'm a costume designer and tailor, but have recently decided to ditch the freelance life and go to uni next year to study fine art. I'm looking for a place in the inner city which is reasonably accessible by public transport. I'm quiet, clean and tidy, and tend not to be home that much, currently I spend most of my time at my studio and also work part time in a cinema. I'm a good cook and a good baker. I don't eat meat but do eat fish. When I'm home I'm quite happy to hang out and have a chat, but am also totally understanding of everyone's need for space at times. I don't have any pets, but don't mind if you do, and if you have a cat I'd be pretty happy about that.
Hi mates! It’s Cristina, a Spanish girl living in Kew currently. I’m feeling pretty isolated over here and that’s why I’m trying to find a new place to call home. I’m super easy going, tidy, no smoker, respectful and I’m always in a good mood (yeah also on Monday morning). I’ll consider your place as mine, absolutely! Im working full time and and generally live an active lifestyle. I try to work out and exploring Melbourne as much as I can! Looking for good vibes where get along well with my flatmates and chattering about how’s everything going (sharing a glass of wine if is required!) Hi there! My name is Natalie, I am 23 years old. I am a food technology high school teacher, I work full time and will be out of the house from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Mon-Fri (there will always be some goodies that I bring home!). On weekends I usually go out or head to the footy, sometimes even chill at home and watch some Netflix if the week has been hectic (which is most weeks are :P)! I am pretty easy going and easy to live with. Happy to do my own thing or chill together with a glass of wine. I am a bit nerdy and I try to lead a healthy lifestyle with the occasional splurge every once in a while. Ideally, I would like a long-term roommate for roughly a year or more, so if this all suits you then let me know and we can arrange a catch up to meet and if all goes well find a place as soon as possible!
I'm a 26 yo queer chick and I'm currently studying post-grad physio at Melbourne uni full time and work casually as a disability carer (I have 2 more years left of my course so am looking for a long term place). I also come with a very friendly and playful young dog, Lola, who loves cuddles and pats. I also play footy, which I love doing and am always quite active. I also enjoy veggie gardening, playing/cuddling with my dog, cooking and socialising over beers/wine. I've lived in all different sorts of share houses with people of all ages and like to be comfortable with my housemates and be able to have a chat and a laugh when everyone has the time. Get in touch if you think I'll work with your house or if you've got anymore questions!
I am a person who is easy going and really comfortable to live with. A person who minds his own business and does not poke his nose into others' lives is definitely me. Moreover a person with a really good understanding is all that you will be hunting for. And that, I assure you of and expect from others.
I'm an Australian who has been living and working in Hong Kong for the last 4 years. I'll be moving back to Melbourne for my masters. I'll be studying most of the time and hopefully working part time too. I'm an easy going person. I like to hike and watch tv and basically spend time relaxing. Feel free to contact me!
I'm a bubbly and open person. I like to keep the place clean and contribute to the household where I can. Currently living in Sydney and working full-time but looking at moving out to Melbourne early next year!!!
I recently moved back to Melbourne after a few years in Brisbane. I'll be working full-time and plan to study counselling part-time in 2018. I am generally quiet, easygoing and respectful of others' space. I am a bit of a "neat-freak" so am more than happy to do my share of cleaning, etc. I don't mind a drink, enjoy a chat, cooking, eating out, listening to people's stories, playing the guitar, music generally, reading and am a keen runner.

Easy going, clean and tidy couple. We both currently live and work fulltime in Perth. My boyfriend works as an Environmental Officer in the mining industry, and I work as a Science and Policy Officer for the state government. We are both making the move to Melbourne for further study at Melbourne Uni. We are not searching for a party house, but we still like to be social. We are both clean, tidy and respectful of our roommate(s) and the house rules. We both love watching a good documentary, are environmentally and sustainability conscious, LGBQTI friendly, non-smokers and we prefer to live with non-smokers too. We do have one requirement which is fast and reliable wifi and a parking space. If you need someone to move in before the 6th of Feb we are open to paying a couple of weeks rent before this date. If you'd like more info or have a place for us to live, flick us a message. We look forward to meeting you! Michael and Shae
