Hello! I'm friendly, tidy, vibrant and a super creative person and I'm very respectful. I'm a musician, dancer, and artist and I love to socialise, but I also cherish my own space and will happily respect yours. I believe that it is extremely important that you get along well with who you live with and have mutual respect for each other. I have a pet cat, she's really fat and loving and I promise you will fall in love with her.
Hi All, My name is Daniel, I am 21 years old. I will be studying at SCU for my Bachelors Degree in IT. I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a happy-go-lucky, glass-half-full type person. Clean, neat and independent. A lover of food, films, travel and having fun. Hoping to live with similar-aged people who enjoy dinner, wine, movies, chatting, travelling and all those good things. Although I am very sociable but I totally respect privacy and personal spaces. I also have a part time job, so will be pretty busy with that and studying however, I'm always up for hanging out. Give me a message if you think you'd like to live with me or want to chat! Very excited to meet some new people and experience all Melbourne has to offer! Thank You
My name is Kay, male, from West Africa. I'm currently a graduate student at CSU melbourne campus, studying for a Masters in Business Administration. I'm a very friendly person, and easy to get along with. I like to read, i also like to sketch sometimes. I love music and I like to cook. I don't smoke, but occassionally, i like to have a few beers wit my friends. I am very tidy, homely and quiet. I try to respect other people's space as well as their lifestyle, sexual orientation, religion and culture, but I'm also good for a chit chat every now and then. Uhhh... I'm loyal, dependable and nice. and I'm open to sharing a house with either male, female or both And yeah! I've got no pets.
I am a left-leaning, musically-interested, social and occasionally studious mid-twenties female looking for a fun, but tidy share-house in central Melbourne. I like good chats, loud music and cold beers. I just moved from Brisbane to finish a Masters degree in Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing at the University of Melbourne. I've been studying on and off for the last five years, having already completed a BA in Creative and Professional Writing, an Honours thesis concentrated in Literary Studies, and started a Master of Arts at the University of Queensland. Although I am fairly studious and busy during the week, I like to socialise on the weekends by going to gigs, sampling delicious beers and op-shopping. I enjoy reading, writing (obviously), music and photography. I also collect vinyls and will be sending down a vinyl player/large vinyl collection once I've got a place. I have worked as an ESL teacher for the past two years and I'm currently looking for casual teaching work. Your real estate can contact my real estate for a reference. I'm happy to pay three months rent up front. I have also lived in China, where I worked as an English teacher with kids, and I have lived and studied in Japan as an undergraduate. I am thus very open-minded to different cultures and lifestyles. If you like the sounds of any of this feel free to send me a message. I'm looking for a large private room as I would like to set up a desk for studying. I also need lots of storage space for my ridiculously large wardrobe of vintage and Japanese fashion (which I am happy to share if you're my size!). I have two couches, a washing machine, a brand new fridge, a two-seater dining set, a six seater dining set, coffee table...pretty much everything! It's all in storage at the moment at my parents' house and I'm happy to leave it there or send it down. I am also looking at vacant two/three bedroom properties on the Northside and possibly applying for a property by myself. So if you're in the same boat as me and looking for shared accommodation in a nice house in a centrally located suburb, feel to send me a message. You must be open-minded, house-trained and LGTB /420 friendly, and ideally within the age bracket of 20-30.

I'm a relaxed and tidy individual; enjoy my space but also enjoy co-working, sharing meals or just hanging out. I sometimes like to go to gigs too. I play guitar and bass and have a few musical projects on the go at any time and sometimes I go busking in the CBD. I work part time as a bartender at the Melbourne Recital Centre and am halfway through a Psychology Post-Grad. I really enjoy gardening, reading, cooking and listening to music in my spare time when I'm not playing. I live a humble existence and am always open to learning new things. I have a lil cat named Pepper who would ideally be moving with me.
Hey! Two friendly, easygoing Brits looking for a short term rental. Outgoing, sociable and enjoy meeting new people. Both living and working in Melbourne. Get in touch if you're interested in a team up or if you have spare rooms! Kate and Wednesday :)
Hi, I'm a student about to go into my second year of my bachelor of fine arts. As a housemate I'm generally very quiet and clean, but love cooking (not just for myself but for others). I'm very quiet during the week and spend a lot of time reading books or watching films, but I love to catch up during the weekends and socialise. :) I'm a vegetarian but have lived with both meat eaters and vegans so other peoples' food choices don't bother me! Also, I come with many houseplants. I'd love to live with other people involved in the arts, or other students but this isn't a necessity!
Hi, I'm Giulia and i'm italian! Me and my boyfriend are in Ozzy with a working holiday visa. Now we are working, and we searching for a place to stay. We love meeting new people, traveling, music and art. We know how to keep the house clean and tidy!! ;)

Currently working full time undertaking my hairdressing apprenticeship in Melbourne, hoping to find somewhere to live and to meet some people along the way! Interested in art, fashion, hair and beauty and enjoy going to the football come the season. Looking for a housemate or housemates that can be a second family and not just someone I live with!
We are easy people, very friendly, good to hang out with, love to play video games, clean up after ourselves, love to watch a good movie or series, and we would also like to bring in our own furnitures for the room.
Hey there, I'm relaxed, wise and fun loving Melbourne boy. I have lived in loads of share houses and enjoy the company of others, but being buddhist also enjoy the quiet of meditation. I am vego/vegan and work in sustainability. I hope to settle in the area for at least a few years but will be travelling for work most of the time. My cute little boy lives nearby so he will be a bonus about one night a week in with me. I have a little farm in the country so plenty of weekend adventures for anyone that's keen. B

I've also come to Melbourne for the culture and music etc. Happy to share more if needed 😄 thanks
Hi, i'm John, 26 years old and have just moved to Melbourne. I'm originally from England, but have spent most of the last few years living abroad; starting with Sydney, then lived in Banff in Canada for a year, then NZ and now here! So not a huge fan of being back home...you only live once, so i thought i might as well live a little and get some stories to tell when i'm old. About me...i'm a super tidy, pretty chilled guy, looking for somewhere to call home and some awesome people to call new housemates. I'm planning on living in Melbourne for at least a year. I'm a big music fan...big into hip-hop; but love a bit of everything; from folky stuff, to rock, to house/techno, to jazz...if its good. So... listening to music, concerts and even making some music are on the hobby list; apart from that, big into snowboarding when i get the chance; always down to hit up some vintage shops and waste money on clothes, love eating out and a good party now and then as well.

Chef, without the craziness Keep to myself mostly, but always keen to hang out Happy person, looking for other positive people Don't do drugs, occasionally have a cigarette (not inside of course) Would prefer younger people Pianist & artist (Who's not going to play piano at 3am when you're trying to sleep) Sensible, chilled and understanding

Hi! My name is Miki and I am from Tokyo, currently on a working holiday visa. I started living in shared housing in university and have never stopped since! I have lived in university dorms, shared flats, and most recently a 30 person share house in Tokyo. I've really enjoyed the balance of having a room to myself while always having the option to talk to someone after a long day, instead of just coming home to an empty apartment. I enjoy hiking and other outdoor pursuits, baking, playing cards and board games, and finding fun things to do around the city (especially if they are free!).
I´m Spanish guy working in a government agency . I am friendly, tidy, respectful, honest and kind. I would like to live with people from other countries to learn more different cultures. looking somewhere close ( by walk or by bike ) to Carlton, wher i work

And the list goes on!
Hi, my name is Dave, and I am looking for a studio, 1 bedroom apartmment, granny flat long term (12 mths or more). I am 35 yrs old, work in Pascoe Vale for a medical company. During the week I tend to stay at home apart from thursday nights for cricket training. If I do go out on a weekend I do not bring the party home. Happy to meet up for coffee so you I can ask a few questions, as I'm sure you'd like to ask me some. Cheers
I'm looking to find a place for my girlfriend and myself to stay temporarily until we find our house. Minimum of 1 week but possibly more until we have found our place. We're clean and tidy people. Respectful and well mannered.
I'm a 35yo freelancer writer/journalist who gets to work from home every Monday, which is probably my dream job I reckon. I also work part-time Tuesday to Friday in a media communications role for a large international non-government org, which is another dream job actually. So kicking goals. To complete the picture, I'm on the hunt for a great place to call home in Thornbury area or surrounding suburbs which can accommodate me and my four-year-old cat, who is probably the most beautiful ragdoll you've ever seen. Ragdolls as a breed are quite unique as far as cats go - they are very fond of humans, incredibly placid and affectionate, non-arrogant, relaxed animals - a bit more like a (super chilled out) dog in the way they like humans in fact. I’ve had housemates who say initially they're not fond of cats completely change their tune after living with him- to the point they would consider getting a cat like him! In short, he's a great addition to a household. Clean, litter trained and all that. He also loves the outdoors, so I'm looking for somewhere with a backyard. I'm definitely the less chilled out of the two of us (what with the journalism and deadlines and all) so to balance it out I'm often busy weekday evenings with dance classes (doubles as my main form of fitness these days) in the evenings and regular catch ups with friends. I've got plenty of close friends in the area, so I'd be hoping to find somewhere that can comfortably accommodate me having the odd night on the couch with some wine and my girlfriends (read: supremely talented women and completely amazing humans). I've lived in rental share houses (and with complete strangers) all my adult life and I’m an excellent housemate, I just know how it works. My current living situation is also pretty cosy, I'm living in a private rental (my landlord is seriously amazing) near Fairfield with four others who all get along, it's a beautiful big house and I'll be sad to leave. Happy in a share house where everyone functions fairly independently of each other, but still likes catching up every now and then. If any of this sounds like a good fit, get in touch!
Hi my names Gabriella I'm 22 I'm a current student at RMIT doing a bachelor of arts textile design. I'm in need of a room to rent or possibly to team up for share house, I like to garden some times and the occasional glass of red with dinner, I can cook but nothing fancy and would love to share a meal but also enjoy time to myself. I'm looking to rent long term and would love if you have a room for me. thanks
Hey legends. Here's me at 33, trying to settle down, appreciate the small things, ya know? Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy a drink and a sick party on the weekends but I'm more likely to find salvation in the pages of a book, the midst of a conversation or a meal on the stove than at the bottom of a bottle on a Tuesday night. I work 4 days a week as a web developer but I still harbour secret thoughts that the book I wrote last year will spark into a career as a journalist - that's what my fifth day is for - writing.
Hi I am Paola, currently working and studying. Looking for a nice and clean place that I can call home. I am very easy going, enjoy having a meal or a drink but also respect privacy.
I am Marcus, a 26 almost 27 year old Australian. I was born in Melbourne and have lived here most of my life - except for 6 months in Canada and 2 years living in Ireland. Having recently returned to Australia to lay some roots down, I am now looking to move out into the outer city suburbs to make it easier to get to work and to be in amongst this great city. I am an English language teacher working in the CBD on weekdays (9am-3pm), and in the evening and on weekends I like to work on my writing. I value my own space and independence, but I also love socialising with people as long as they are genuine and easy-going. I would like to live with people who respect the space of others while at the same time enjoying hanging out occasionally. I'm not after a "full-on" party household, but am keen for hanging out with glasses of wine, food and chats. I would enjoy living with others who are in their later 20's who want a mature and "got-their-shit-together" type to join their pad. My main hobbies include reading, writing, photography (medium format film), and going to the cinema. I love visiting Nova Cinema, the Astor, and the Kino in the city and try to go once a week (minimum). I'm also a voracious music lover and have it on most of the time. Expect to hear me singing along to Jens Lekman or Kings of Convenience at some point! I would be after a non-furnished room in a cosy house with lots of light. The vibe is important for me. I also want a room big enough for my bed, a desk, and all my books. In terms of furniture/stuff I can bring with me, I have a large record collection and a quality Rega record player + Peterson 170 watt speakers + Sherwood stereo system that I am willing to bring to my new potential house, given there is room. :)
Currently studying Master of Agriculture at the University of Melbourne. Looking for a quite place to call my own for the next 6 months+. I tend to be very particular with keeping the house neat and tidy so a messy house will not be a problem. Love hiking , catching up with friends and binge watching tv shows.
I'm a great cook, loves to share food with others! Sociable and chatty, but like time to myself too and am pretty quiet. Between uni, sports, work and studying I usually keep myself busy throughout the week and weekend. Look forward to meeting you soon!
Easy going, cheerful, always smiling 27 yo girl from Poland who's here to study and work. Very busy but always happy to grab some drink together. Tidy too much and great cook :) Peace lover :)
I'm Conni, a 24 year old geology/environmental studies postgraduate student at melbourne university. I've had experience living with all sort of different people in Germany as well as London so I know how things are workingin a great shared house ;) I'm from Germany and I will stay for one year. I am creative, crazy, very thoughtful and very fun to hang out with and I like a good laugh. I have probably read about 5000 books but you will get the biggest nonsense out of me (you don't even have to try very hard). I like to play a bit on my Ukulele and I love all kind of arts, individuality and people who do things their way! I'm kind of nerdy when it comes to Geology and Arts and books. But always easy to get along with and interested in all sort of stuff - especially people and music. When I manage to do some outdoor activity I am really excited about it! That includes skiing, climbing, hiking, ... travelling too. If nature is to far away, I try to ignore that by doing a lot of work out in a park/beach/playground/... I'm a vegeterian and I like to keep kitchen and bathroom clean.
I am a professional musician. Just completed my Bachelor of Music. I play Sax and Harmonica. I am touring Europe in June for a month. Need to rehearse in Brunswick for the tour. Often away on weekends for festivals. Very considerate housemate. Love to cook and then clean. Very able to look after myself. Friendly but respect others privacy and able to behave myself.
Hey I'm 25, looking for a chilled and sociable place to live, ideally long term. I work full time but definitely like to make the most of my days off and it would be great to find some house mates who like to hang out occasionally/have dinner or drinks together. Of course considerate of other peoples space and pull my weight with cleaning etc. I'm pretty artistic, really in to music and love going to festivals, travelling and exploring the delights of Melbourne i.e drinking too much coffee, going to galleries, chilling in the park, beaching etc. x
I am considerate of others, like a clean environment and pays rent and share of bills on time. I like discussions in general and have hobbies and interests. I think that is what makes me a great housemate! Looking for a nice place to settle for 6 months or more.
I am from Wellington, New Zealand. I have just completed my undergraduate studies and am taking a year off to work and travel before I begin my Masters of Laws and Monash University. I love fitness and being outdoors.
My name is Alexia, I have just moved from Sydney to Melbourne and am looking for a share-house apartment. I am starting up a graphic design course here so I will be studying as well as working here. I am a friendly, outgoing person who enjoys keeping fit, cooking and socialising.
I'm really easy going, looking for one or two people to share a place. I work 2 jobs and keep things tidy but I'm not too crazy with it. I keep to myself but would be down with having drinks or hanging out once in a while, and I have a cat.
Just moved to Melbourne to start a Master at UniMelb. I'm originally from France, but have lived in the US and in Canada. I'm friendly, laid-back, enjoy meeting new people and looking to discover every part of this city!
Hi! We're two students from Sweden, William is an exchange student at University of Melbourne and I am studying an online course from a Swedish university and will work extra in hospitality in Melbourne. We're looking for a place to stay for at least 4-6 months, perhaps longer. We're very tidy and respectful of others space, but at the same time enjoy hanging out with new people, grabbing a few beers or going on a gig or something. We both like trying new food and are excited to see what Melbourne has to offer. Just send us a message and we'll talk more! Freja and William
I'm a sociable person but completely respect when people want their own space. I'm tidy and always up to help out with keeping the communal areas nice to live in. I'm originally from New Zealand and am fresh to Melbourne after spending a couple years away in Europe. I enjoy watching sport, listening to music, watching movies and chatting over a good craft beer!

Hi there! I'm Sarah. Full disclosure: I just arrived in Melbourne after traveling for a year and am still getting my life together. I'm working a couple of part time jobs and am looking for a great place to call home for the short term. This includes finding a place to live. Hostels are SO expensive! I'm friendly, responsible, clean, respectful, sociable, but also can survive by myself. I need a furnished room and roommates who will at least say hello and ask how my day was! I can't commit to long term at the moment - one month ideally, but I'll make it a great month, I promise! Outside of work time I enjoy live music and sports, exercise, food, and good beer. I can move in at the beginning of March. Looking forward to hearing from you, Sarah
